I went to Trendy Nails for the first time today. It's been a while since I've had a pedicure and one of my friends recommended them. Their facility is clean and the staff super friendly. I was immediately waited on.....but I'm sure it helped that I went in early, around 12:00 on a weekday. Lynda was awesome. She was thorough without being rough. For the last 2 gel manicures I had, both the ladies who did the service, (the last one I think was the woman owner), they offered me extra $5 for the polish to stay longer and for both times, the nail polish stayed for 1 month. Then last 6/5/26, I asked for the same $5 add on for the polish to stay longer but all the ladies working there including the lady owner and the guy owner looked clueless as to what I was talking about and didnt reply. The lady owner even looked like she doesnt speak English and were talking amongst each other in Vietnamese or Thai or whatever dialect. Anyway it was so annoying and now after only 2 weeks (without that $5 add on they apply to make polish last longer), the nail polish on my 2 fingers are already chipped off. Hope management is more consistent w the services they offer and be more courteous and professional to their clients. You never know if they are talking abt you. I brought my daughter here to get her nails done for her birthday, and it was such a disappointing experience. After her pedicure, I asked for a short massage -- the nail tech asked Mary, and she immediately said no. They just kept repeating that it costs extra, even though I clearly said I didn't mind paying. Only after I mentioned it was for her birthday did they finally agree. My daughter was upset and confused about why they didn't want to do it at first. I've been a loyal customer and used to really appreciate Mary's service, but after today, I'll never be coming back. As a recurring customer, I was HIGHLY disappointed and upset during my recent visit here. I was charged $124 for a basic manicure/pedicure and a botched cateye design (which I had a picture reference for) using my natural nails and gel as a base. DO NOT come to this establishment thinking it's going to be affordable to use your natural nails as a base, or that they're going to give you the right design in the first place. My nails were just painted with one coat of glitter nail polish, using the wrong color and design. During my manicure/pedicure, I did my best to convey that these nails weren't to my liking. Despite thankfully receiving a do-over, I still had to pay the original $124 quote and had spent nearly 3 hours here when my usual visits last only 1.5 hours, and I usually pay less than $100. Again, DO NOT come if you want to use your natural nails as a base, as it may be more expensive than you expect. read more

Used to love this place. I had gotten my big toe messed up by a previous salon and grew a healthy new nail over 2024 winter. Got my toes done once and sure enough, not clean tools & they dug so far under my nail that it created space, which then caused my nail to completely lift. I was devastated cause it was a huge insecurity of mine & took sooo long to repair correctly. Then I made a dumb mistake to give it a 2nd chance since I had a great experience for a year and my big toe was again messed up and I put acrylic on it this one time cause I had somewhere to be but it looked fine while she was doing it from afar and realized later at home it's so thick! And better yet while getting a full set EVERY SINGLE question I had seemed like an issue or like I was bothering the tech. She cut a length I thought I would like (mind you she's only glued the tip on) and she cut them to a length I thought I liked and after taking a better look I asked for it shorter, which would only take 1 min to cut the plastic tips down before applying acrylic powder. Then I asked to see the reds and she grabbed one and I wasn't the biggest fan and she LITERALLY dropped her shoulders & scoffed like a CHILD. I was like okay "that one's fine" cause I felt so embarrassed. Now I left w a terrible service & terrible customer service. I used to love this place. Prices are also posted & I did the math myself (I know gel cost 10 more) and yet the price was over $100. Full set solid color & pedicure solid color w/ repair to one to w just powder. She charged for my cuticles which mind you, in beauty school is literally step 1, it's not supposed to be a choice. I won't be going back. Also keep in mind, I was the 1ST customer there Saturday morning. Literally so I didn't think the 1st service would be an issue. First off i went to get a full set THE NEXT DAY two nails fall off and i notice that some of my other nails are lifting i said oh okay honest mistake maybe the acrylic was expired and they didnt know yet so i call they tell me come in to fix them the next day i said okay went got them "fixed" or so i thought . Came in for a simple buff and trim on my nails. I was told that falls under the price of a manicure which is 15 dollars. I decided to waive the nail polish because I didn't need it, just wanted the easiest possible service I could get. I end up getting the worst buff and trim of my life and asked to pay $21 dollars. First I was told, nail polish was included in the manicure and then I was told it wasn't included and would have been more expensive had I down polish. And then I was told if I did nail polish it would be cheaper. Clearly trying to lie on the spot, but at least execute better. I asked what the extra charge was for and they said to shine my nails. I then asked why it was cheaper if I used polish and they didn't give me an answer. I tipped 20% because that's how I was raised but I would NEVER come back.
