Went in this afternoon and it was literally a sign to never cheat on ur nail tech. I'll add pictures of what I showed her I wanted and what I got. Literally wasted $64 on nails plus what I have to spend to get them fixed. Pls take a hint and don't go here!!! Wasted money!!!! It was slow and this time around an older male (probably in his late 40s) did my nails and I don't fully like how they came out, I felt like he was just trying to get it done to get me out of there instead of being more concerned about how my nails came out. STAY FAR AWAY! I cannot stress this enough! I came here today instead of going to my regular nail salon because it was close to my work and I was going on my lunch. I called yesterday and was told that an overlay with gel would be $27 (no nail extension). I got there around 11:10 am and was helped by a gentleman. It wasn't Jimmy because I tried to make an appointment with him but he said he was off today. I came in with my nails cut really short because I had just taken a full set off and trimmed them all the way down. I told him I just wanted the powder overlay and gel and no extension. No problem, he continued to do my nails. Since my nails were already short, when he was filing them I figured he was just shaping them to be even. He never asked me what shape I wanted, probably because I barely had any nail to make a shape. He finishes my nails and I go to pay. This is where I have an issue. The woman up front tells me it's $32 and I told her I called yesterday and Jimmy told me it was $27. Woman: if you get almond it's $5 more Me: I didn't get almond, he didn't even ask me what shape I wanted (I don't have enough length to do an almond shape!) Woman: well he did almond because he didn't know what you wanted (so by default you choose a shape that charges extra for the customer?) Me: this isn't almond, this is the shape of my nails when I came in here because my nails were so short (I get almond ALLLLLL the time, I know what almond looks like) Woman: okay fine *rolls eyes and gives me an exasperated tone* next time you pay $32 So they try to nickel and dime their customers and hope that the customer doesn't know any better! I decided to try this nail salon but never again will I come back here. They lack proper customer service. I went in on Monday and got powder dip over my own nails and then added the gel polish. On Tuesday my nails were bubbling and peeling. I called it in and the receptionist said I could go in Wednesday and get them fixed. I returned Wednesday afternoon as agreed, but to my surprise I was interrogated as if I was lying about getting my nails done there. There was a different receptionist who told me that "Kim" was not in therefore I couldn't get my nails fixed for "free" I would have to pay... I didn't end up paying, it was their responsibility to fix a mistake done by their nail technician. read more

I started coming to this nail salon after my mama recommended it to me. I find the pedicures here to be more thorough than other shops. I will continue to come here for that reason alone. $20 for basic pedi that includes a 5 min massage. Kevin has hooked me up with a fill twice now. He does lovely work. He even free handed a nail art design I described to him and it came out better than my inspiration photo I had saved to show him. Last time I was in, I did not have my thumb at the correct angle for the UV light. I went back a few days later and Kevin got it fixed for me. I am very happy with Q nails. I first came to Qnails on Friday the 3/31 because Bonnie O said that they had a great grand opening discount deal. The salon is out of my way but I came down because everyone raved about their customer service and attention to detail. There were customers at every nail table and waiting to get services done. I asked to have my eyelash extensions done for the first time and to have a fill. Unfortunately, the lashes take a long time and they were a little short handed so they asked me to return and they would honor my discount. I came back on Tuesday to have the services done. I was seated at Jimmy's station right away as there was no wait. We kept a conversation going. He was such a nice guy and very helpful. I asked for a design for one of nails and he did such a wonderful job. I had originally gone to a different salon for my full set and the glue under my nail bothered me. Jimmy was so nice and sanded down the glue from under my nail. See my pic "you will be impressed" For the lash extensions they ask that you remove all the make up because any oils can make the lashes fall off. I stopped by rite aid and bought the makeup remover and returned to have them down. I have never had extensions before and wasn't sure of how the process works. The pretty girl at the front is the person that does the lashes. She was super nice and gentle throughout the process. We went to the back room and she quickly started working on the lashes. It took almost 2 hours for the process. She made me look in the mirror to see them and to see if I wanted anymore added. She also gave me a tiny massage at the end (yay). I did notice that my lashes looked a little different on each eye but Jimmy said they would fix it for me. NOW that's GREAT service :) I will definitely be back here :) read more

Came here twice now. First time I got a pedicure from Kim and she was great! Smiling and very polite right away. Really helped me feel relaxed and almost put me to sleep with her massage. She did a flawless job on my toes and really did a good scrub job to make sure they were nice and soft. I was there a bit before closing and after she was done she told me I could sit and relax with the massage chair for a while :) The second time I had Julian and she did the dip nails on me. First time tryin it. She was also very friendly and kind. Explained everything to me which was informative. I've been coming here for several months. And I love how Kevin does my nails every time. I was a regular customer. But unfortunately I will not be coming back due a horrible experience from their pedicurist- she had bad attitude and did a bad job on 2 people on the same day - she said her name is "Amy." Me and my boyfriend came for a pedicure and Amy did both of our pedicures. First, she hurt my boyfriend's right toe and made him bleed from tugging on his skin and cutting him even after he said "ouch". And second, she did a thick paint job on my toes which then messed it up even after drying it for 40+ minutes!!!! Even after Amy were done painting them, she said "okay please dry for only 10 minutes." This has never happened before because my paint on my toes were never as thick as she painted them on!!! I have never had this issue but these people will try to make it seem like it was your fault or your "shoes" fault. Seriously?! I had to inconveniently come back that day and get my toes repainted. But the worst part was...Amy gave me an attitude when I came back and said "I told you to dry for one hour, you should dry for one hour." -- insinuating that she told me that earlier. (But no lady, you didn't!). Nice job giving your customers an attitude and not taking responsibility of bad service. VERY RUDE. I didn't appreciate how I was treated.
