Terrible service requesting and vibe I was trying to get my eyebrows threaded and was denied service requested to come back

the absolute worst. went in requesting brows with slight arch . she made them extremely thin like a caterpillar with a straight line. followed up by "I can't fix my friend " several times as if she didn't know English . didn't apologize for the error or even ask how to accommodate me. My daughter went in and she has her own bank card, lady asked her how much money was on her card and proceeded to charge that amount instead of just the $12 eyebrow service she requested. When I went to asks why the charge she said she thought it was a tip, The money was paid back to us in cash but how is someone going to expect a tip more than the service was? The woman at station number one always does my eyebrows, and not only is she quick and efficient, but she genuinely cares to ask how my day has been etc. I also wanted to add that NO ONE in my previous experience has ever massaged my head after an eyebrow thread and she takes the time to massage me with lotion right after my eyebrow service at no extra charge (It's already $10 which in my opinion is cheap) which is a plus and relaxing. Just moved to the area and I decided to try out a new eyebrow salon. I am so happy I found this place. Sheila (number #1) is very nice and genuine. I just asked for a clean up and was very fast and efficient. My eyebrows look great! I wasn't expecting the massage after! 10 bucks for eyebrows you can't beat that! I'm happy I found a new eyebrow place :) They also take COVID precautions such as using hand sanitizer, wearing mask, and cleaning the seat after each client which made me feel very safe. 10/10!! read more

My usual spot was unexpectedly closed, and I needed my eyebrows done last minute. There was no wait, two ladies working and I was helped right away. The price of eyebrows threading is $9. I was given a stamp card as well.. I believe after so many, you receive a free eyebrow service. My eyebrows were more on the thinner side, but I did not specify to keep them thick. I first began having my eyebrows threaded about 12 years ago. My friend took me to the original Zibas on Pioneer in Little India. Loved the stylist there but could not stand the wait. I began frequenting the Zibas that would eventually open in the malls and was usually disappointed. I eventually moved to Norwalk and could not bear the trip to the mall. So I looked locally and found Ketnas. Best decision ever. I have seen the same stylist twice now. She takes her time, makes sure I'm happy and is threading my right brow to encourage growth. I came here after my sister in law suggested them to me I didnt make a appt and when I walked in I was immediately greated by two ladies. I sat on chair #9 (I can't remember her name) I told her all my concerns and how I had been trying to find a new place to go to after my trusted go to to person moved to Canada. I had previously gone to another place and they completely ruined my eyebrows and made them so thin when I naturally have thicker brows. Anyways I explained to her that I had been trying to grow them out and how they are now shaped different, she gave me her advice and tips and then she began to shape my brows she would stop and show me and then continue. I rarely write reviews but I just had to share my experience about this place with others. As I looked at the reviews I was shocked at the fact that it was majorly great reviews, and now I know why. I saw Shiela's name pop up so when I went in I asked for her. She was welcoming and really kind. She asked me how I wanted my eyebrows to be shaped, something that I wouldn't get asked for in previous locations. She made me feel like she actually cared about me and my eyebrows need rather than just having another customer come in to make some money. When I get my eyebrows threaded I'm usually in pain, but with her, I wasn't in much pain, on the contrary I was relaxed and time passed by so quickly. I HIGHLY recommend her work. Price was a bit more than what I usually pay, but definitely worth it! read more

I've been going to ketna's for years and I've always been satisfied with their service. The ladies that work there are ALWAYS attentive, friendly, and welcoming. My only gripe is that the prices have gone up over the years and you can find cheaper places to go, but you get what you pay for. I'd rather pay a little extra and know my brows will look AMAZING than save a few dollars and risk someone messing up my eyebrows! plus they have a stamp card where every tenth stamp earns a free eyebrow threading :) read more

Chair #9 Poonam has does my eyebrows twice and does an amazing job! She works wonders, I almost didn't recognize myself after she was done. She takes her time and makes sure you are satisfied and doesn't do them too thin. I've always been a fan of threading, and have gone to several places before her but I will always come back to her and never go anywhere else! If you're new to this place, give her a try!
