I'm a longtime Lilia/Misi fan and finally tried their casual cafe/bar. Brought my mom here for lunch on a weekend and it was excellent. I made a reservation for the backyard garden (an absolute must if the weather is good). We shared the Mezzaluna pasta, grilled artichoke sandwich and chickpea farinata. Everything was amazing! Will definitely be back.

I had the pleasure of being a stand-in for a friend's date here when she bailed on him after the reservation cancellation window. I've been to Misi on numerous occasions, but this was my first time at their pasta shop-cum-sorta wine bar at the far end of Grand St. Contrary to the name, the menu actually leans more heavily into the non-pasta dishes. The artichoke sandwich, served on a hefty brioche, and the chickpeas with ricotta were my favorite dishes of the evening. I like the mozzarella in carrozza better at Cafe Spaghetti. For pastas, we shared the lemon spaghetti, which paired very well with the breadcrumbs, and a special pesto gnocchi - the gnocchi itself was a bit too dense and compact for my taste.

I really enjoyed my time at MISIPASTA! We sat outside on the patio, which was cozy and clean. All of our food was delicious. Could not recommend the sandwich more, so rich and decadent. My only complaint was the service. All of our food came out at different times and our server was slow to check back on us sometimes. However, only a small inconvenience for some delicious food!

I stumbled upon this place after an unsuccessful Tonchin trip that was sold out on a collab they did. When I tell you things happen for a reason they truly do. I had completely lost my voice and was looking for a good meal. I walked in and spotted a small seating area in front of an open kitchen. I was so excited to watch the chefs at work and see everything being prepared for a pasta course they were having the next day. Service was exceptional, I could barely speak and yet they were so kind and listened the best they could. I asked their recommendations and ordered every one of them. I started with their thinly sliced salami sprinkled with fennel pollen and chickpeas. Although the chickpeas were delicious they were the least exciting out of everything I ordered but still tasted great. I then moved on to the grilled artichoke sandwich which was so freakin good. The bread was light the artichoke bursts with flavor and embodied the heartiness of a burger. I had left over salami from my app so I combined it with my sandwich and I got the nod of approval from the chefs. Next up was the mozzarella grilled cheese. This thing is BEYOND perfect the crisp and melty goodness is insane. The outside was toasted to perfection. I'm not sure if they do but it tasted like they toasted it in anchovy oil. Not sure. But it was good. Lastly I finished with the basque cheesecake which was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. I can't wait to go back and try their pasta and the next round of seasonal dishes.

This was a really fun place to dine. I felt like I was in an exclusive place small seating for just a few and you could see the chefs working in the kitchen. My mother and I had passed this place during lunch and saw them making fresh pasta and I really wanted to go here. It's giving tap of style where you need to order between two and five things to share with people which is a really cute idea but for the prices, I know this could not be someone's favorite The star of the meal with the chickpea salad, which had a little bit of heat that built and the cheese it is a recipe I wanna try to create the ravioli was fresh light I could've had another, but we also got the off the menu pasta that had meat filled and a cream sauce that was really decadent super fun and lovely staff would definitely go back again

The market version of Misi - where you can grab a drink or meal at the counter and get some fresh pasta and other meal ingredients! Considering how hard it is to get a reservation at Misi only a few blocks down, I was excited to try Misipasta. Honestly was hoping there would be more pasta options - there are only two written on the menu (spaghetti, ravioli) and one our server mentioned (fettuccine). We wanted some salad to go with our pasta but unfortunately, no modifications could be made in removing sliced almonds, which is an allergy of mine. But the spaghetti turned my experience around - super flavorful, crunchy, and zesty pasta with a buttery lemony sauce that kept making me want more. It was also fun sitting in front of the kitchen - seeing the chefs whip up some fresh, saucy, glossy pasta made us excited for our pastas.

I'd been following MisiPasta on Instagram for some time. So when I stumbled on it en route to Domino Park, I decided to check it out. Service was very friendly and every staff member I interacted with was personable and warm. I ordered a cappuccino, the asparagus and mezzaluna. The backyard garden is beautiful and feels like a repose in a bustling city. The design is simple yet elevated and I spent a few moments capturing some food photos. The food- asparagus was lovely and I liked the added flavor and texture from the walnuts. The pasta was good but missing a kick. I ultimately ate it with the remaining sauce from the asparagus and it was tastier. Will definitely return.

A lovely spot for fresh pasta tucked into the heart of Williamsburg -- they have a great ambiance, and we were able to get bar seats immediately on a Friday evening roommate date night. They have a nice outdoor patio, so would love to come back for that. The menu here is very small with a strong focus on seasonal ingredients -- I am seriously obsessed. The flavors were so light and summery and everything tasted so fresh. The Pistachio Mezzaluna and Arugula Peach Salad were my favorites but the Spaghetti is a house-favorite and comes in a VERY close second. I'll definitely be back -- I hear the Artichoke Sandwich is a crowd-favorite, so want to try that next time!

My friend and I came on a weekday afternoon for a late lunch. When you walk in you can see them making the fresh pasta. The interior is bright, modern, and clean. The walls are lined with items that you can purchase. We chose to sit inside as it was very hot out. They have 2 small bar seating areas and a gorgeous outdoor seating area. The service was friendly and slow. We got a salad and the only 2 pastas on the menu. The taste of every item was great, but the portion sizes were very small. We both preferred the ricotta and pistachio filled mezzaluna with lemon and basil over the spaghetti bottarga lemon with garlic breadcrumbs. My friend felt that the flavoring of the spaghetti was too strong to eat a lot of it, but I enjoyed it. The flavoring of both were unique and memorable, however felt more like a snack than a meal.

TLDR: Me like MISIPASTA. It's a small shop where you can grab a bite and also pick up your favorites from her restaurants. Definitely grab a sandwich (or two) and a pasta. Don't forget to buy some fresh pasta or other ingredients to make a "homecooked-ish" meal for the week. I was itching to try this place, especially being a fan of her other restaurants. It's quite small and is a specialty shop where you can also grab food at. We sent at the kitchen counter which was cool to see each dish come together. Fortunately there's not really an overlap with the menus of the other restaurants either. Prosciutto di parma, fontina gougere. Nice salty thin slices of prosciutto, hot and cheesy bread. What's not to like? Grilled Artichoke Sandwich. I don't like vegetable sandwiches but this was wonderful. The rustic artichoke, thick sesame bun, sharp provlone, a bit of - this tastes like what I'd want to eat in the summer. Cochetino Sandwich. Reminded me a bit of a spam sandwich and I mean that in a great way. Crispy on the edges, salty, fatty, the salsa verde and balsamic helped balance out the heaviness. Spaghetti. Bottarga, breadcrumbs, lemon. It's salty, crunchy, acidic, bright - a perfect dish. The pasta was fresh, prepped in front of us and was al dente as it should be. Grabbed some whipped ricotta (yeah, the Misi one) and meatballs on the way out. Definitely will return.

mid. i was a little disappointed in my visit here. i went with my best friend having www high expectations from the reviews and left underwhelmed. the food was ok. you can't go to a pasta spot and not get pasta so of course, that's what we got. it was ok. we also had the affogato and that was yummy. the service was friendly and professional, place is cute and clean (cold so we keep our jackets on). overall, nothing was wrong or bad. just wasn't impressed.

4.5 stars. MISIPASTA is a great place for all occasions, whether it's a date or a group hangout. It has a casual environment, but the interior is covered in warm wood tones, giving it a premium feel. Service was super friendly as well. Their menu is limited, which is perfect for indecisive people like me. We've come back a few times and basically tried the whole menu. All their antipasti are delicious -- highlights include the Gougere and the Cotechino Sausage. I will say I think the pasta leaves a little room to be desired. The ricotta has a light flavor, but is on the heavy/oily side. The spaghetti lacks a little flavor. However, they do sell fresh pasta, butter, and cheese. You can get a few of these to have a bomb-ass gourmet meal at home. For dessert after dinner -- DECAF AFFOGATO!

I loved my experience at Misipasta! They have a lovely backyard area that is perfect for the summertime. It's a pretty small area that is easy to miss if you don't know about it. I booked a reservation for Sunday brunch two weeks out and there was a lot of availability. It isn't super difficult to get a reservation but if you want all of the options, I would recommend planning. There are also a few seats inside where you can see the chefs making the pasta, but those are much more difficult to get. I think the outside area is great, especially when the weather is nice so would recommend booking outdoors if possible. When we got seated, they gave us a small menu with the dishes (which I believe they change out seasonally). I came with four other people and we ordered 5 dishes, which was just enough. I really enjoyed the two pasta dishes we ordered as well as the artichoke sandwich. At the end of the meal, we also got affogato, which was the perfect end to the meal. I like that this is a more relaxed and casual option compared to its sister restaurant!

I was at this tasty Italian spot a while ago for dinner with one of my groups, where we shared a…read morebunch of dishes as per usual. The place wasn't super crowded, but there were eventually some people there. The place felt comfortable, and the service was friendly. To drink, I got the Blood Orange Negroni for $17 with Hendricks gin, Campari, sweet vermouth, fresh blood orange juice, and a slice of orange as garnish. I usually prefer Negronis that lack Campari as I find that liquor to be a bit too sweet, at least as far as amaro goes, but this was tasty and better balanced as the juice and gin helped to reduce the sweetness. I would recommend it. They gave us some fresh bread with some good olive oil to begin with, which was tasty. Our only appetizer was the $18 Fried Trio, listed as a tempting mix of crispy fried goat cheese w/ honey & chili oil, carbonara arancini, and capers croquettes. This also came with some tomato sauce for dipping, presumably primarily for the arancini. My preference of the bunch was the fried goat cheese due to the bit of funk and spice. I also liked the arancini as the texture was nice, while my least favorite were the croquettes. This was a nice mix, though perhaps a bit salty. For main dishes, we got two pastas, which were both $19, and two entrees. My favorite of the entrees easily was the Mushroom & White Truffle Lasagna with shiitake, porcini, and cremini blend of mushrooms, béchamel sauce, truffle ricotta, and fresh mozzarella on top. Many lesser spots would mix all these things and make the dish a bit too earthy or almost perfumy from the truffle and mushroom flavor, but not this one. There was just enough of the béchamel and cheese that it was pretty balanced. The pasta texture was nice also. This was rich but delicious, and easily worth the price. I wasn't as big a fan, though that is more because of a caveat, of the Hot Rigatoni Vodka With Guanciale & Sausage, listed as rigatoni pasta in a creamy, spicy vodka sauce, paired with rich guanciale and spicy sausage. I generally prefer guanciale in dishes like pasta alla gricia rather than in already spicier tomato sauces, as I tend to find that the flavor doesn't shine through as much. Otherwise, the pasta was cooked perfectly, and there was plenty of meat inside. We liked both of the mains also. A slight preference goes to the Flounder a la Francese for $26, with lightly battered flounder pan-fried to golden perfection and finished with a delicate white wine and lemon butter sauce. It was a large piece of fish, and it was indeed tender with a light batter. There were plenty of capers, but it wasn't too salty, and the bit of pasta on the side was perfectly cooked as well. I would recommend this. Our last entree was the $34 Short Ribs With Polenta, consisting of tender, slow-braised short ribs over a creamy bed of polenta. The texture of the polenta was nice, and the short ribs were indeed tender, but not too fatty. This was the plainest of the entrees, but it was still tasty. This was a tasty Italian spot with quality food at reasonable prices. I would definitely go back.

There were only two other tables with guests in the restaurant. The service was super quick. I got the pulled pork tortellini; the tangy, butter sauce was really good, but the tortellini portion was small. I preferred the rigatoni that my husband got. The bread that they bring to the table was fresh and delicious. I would come here again.

Was also thoughtful in handing us our orders correctly which was nice. For the food itself I heard good things and was hoping to love it more-- but I think I was slightly disappointed. The flavors aren't so bad overall and if you have a pasta itch it'll scratch. But I've tried other places better at a similar or even cheaper price point with protein added in. I got the "some like it hot" while my friend got "midnight desire" with burrata added in. I paid about 22 for each dish. Now for my thoughts - flavor for "some like it hot" was not bad, sauce was a slight bit watery for my liking. The spice was nice and I liked that part the most. Pasta was "OK". The ravioli was stuck together for some, filling was adequate but, I would've liked a little more. I don't want to sound harsh, but it was all around just an ok spot. Maybe it was just that day. Burrata added is nice, I took mine to go do sadly it was melted on top (recommend to pack the burrata separately for to go orders) - "midnight desire" is basically vodka and the flavor for this one was kind of odd for me. Not the normal vodka I am used to. I personally wouldn't really get it again. It wasn't a bad sauce, just not like vodka I know. Had a slight "bitter(?)" aftertaste from some seasoning I guess. I'm not a pasta connoisseur but I AM Italian and I've tasted a wide ranger of pastas lol-- I think yummy cheese pasta in Hell's Kitchen offers a similar concept, portion but is more filling, diverse options for adding and overall, slightly cheaper. I haven't tried them all, obviously -- too many coffee shops -- but what I have tried, and come back to, over and over, is the products of the amazing team at Posto. It's not just about the skillfully made drinks or the balance of flavors, the fresh, Italian-style coffee or the filled-to-order Italian donuts and Maritozzos (iykyk) -- it's the overall ambience. You come here to put down the screen and enjoy the moment. So often do we rush through our coffees, or even bring them to meetings, at the beck and call of the city's hustle. But at Posto the kind, talented, customer-first team asks you to slow down and escape all of that, to savor every sip of coffee in the classic Italian style. Walking in feels more like a poem than a cafe. Gone are the transactional, disingenuous "how are you's" and instead you get to discover all sorts of fun barista (and bar) creations, Tuscan products, and fresh pasta. The servers and owner are always read to provide a recommendation, and like in Italian cafes, they bring whatever treats and drinks you land on to you. (My favorite aperol spritz is also from Posto.) Outside, the peaceful garden hosts two large umbrellas. It's vibrant, as if you're in a neighbor's backyard and they are willing to share a colorful moment with you, birds chirping overhead. As I finished the last drop of my cappuccino this morning, I realized that forty-five minutes had passed, and every sip of coffee was just as good as the last. Thank you!

I don't feel like Un Posto hits the nail on the head for any of these. The menu is incredibly confusing--one part is on a chalk board, another is written under the countertop, another two are printed out next to the register and they all say different things without explanations of what any of the drinks even are. I spent at least 10 minutes letting other folks in front of me at the counter because I was paralyzed by choices I didn't understand, luckily the baristas were able to provide clarity on some of them. They have cocktails, coffee cocktails, coffee drinks, and several food menus. We came hungry, only to see the sandwich menu taken away because they were out (this was at 3 pm, and they close at 7). This is such a New York thing, but if you're selling cocktails and groceries until the evening, running out of mortadella sandwiches is not the same as when Radio Bakery sells out by noon... Maybe it's me but I'm not particularly looking to get a plate of prosciutt and burrata with my coffee (which is what they had left), and the sandwiches here are supposed to be amazing and were the main reason why we chose this place. We had come here to co-work, but saw that there were no laptops allowed, not even in a specific window, just period. I take issue with this because for some of us, coffee shops are vital spaces not to get sucked into the void of our screens but to write, share ideas, and work in the company of our support system. The coffee I got was an Italian iced coffee with no milk and almond syrup, pretty good but a smallish portion. My friend's latte was white, and tasted like foamy milk with just a hint of espresso... very odd. Usually that cool pretentious European vibe results in delicious food and drink, so I expected to be blown away, but it was just okay. Some of the higher-up staff are quite snippy, doesn't seem like the kind of place where if you're a regular people know your name and want to chat. The accusatory sign in the bathroom really says it all. The best part of this place is the gorgeous back patio, but it's harder to enjoy it when you've walked into a place that already makes you feel like you don't belong there, implying you're a toilet-clogging laptop addict who doesn't know any coffee lingo. I could see stopping in to pick up some fresh pasta and grabbing a cappuccino to go, but what's the fun in that?
