The restaurant was very clean and staffs were super nice. We liked the decoration and the ambiance. The food was served fast, the grilled anchovy was delicious. However, there weren't many options on the menu, and one of the only two pasta options was pretty much all carbs with no protein. Would be a 5-star place if the food options are better with more reasonable prices. read more

I was simply blown away when I entered this beautiful establishment. I have very little knowledge of Italian food but as I entered for the first time in my life I saw fresh pasta being made. I was overwhelmed. Here I was a man in a different world. But then a server named Katie saved the day for me. She had excellent knowledge of the menu, the wines, and especially the pasta. Great ambiance, delicious bites, pretty pricey. If you're looking for a more relaxed and chill version of Misi, this is your spot! It's tucked away on a cute street in the heart of Willyb. Amazing service and such fun menu items. We loved the mezzaluna and zuchini. Sadly sold out of the artichoke sandwich by the time we arrived at 6:45! We really wanted to lose our minds over this meal and left disappointed. As a huge Lilia fan the expectation was high so we ordered one of every item available. MISIPASTA is a storefront and restaurant hybrid. As you walk in, you can watch them making homemade pasta. There are so many items to purchase. The meatballs at $30.00/lb is quite expensive, but they looked delicious. There were other prepared good, and they also have homemade pasta for sale, including rigatoni. There is nearby street parking and several subway stations nearby. On a sunny afternoon, this place can get very busy. read more

When a recent viral tweet mentioned that Bushwick is the new Williamsburg, Williamsburg is the new West Village, and the West Village is the new Murray Hill, I immediately thought of misipasta. We sauntered in during a warm late afternoon. I was taken in by the raw pastas in the display cases, and the fact that Missy Robbins keeps expanding her empire in Williamsburg, but in new ways. Misipasta is part market with unusual offerings (whipped ricotta, various luscious sounding sauces, mozzerella, comely bottles of balsamic, none of it cheap). There are bar tables and an attactive backyard, with white lounge furniture, tables, and white gravel that transcends any West Village comaprisons and puts you in the mindset more of Bridgehampton meets Milan. Misipasta is something new: a market offering almost exclusively apertif service. It's neither lunch nor dinner, but a great place to go to meet friends for a glass of wine in the late afternoon and have a few small bites of pasta, or somewhere to go after pricing surfboards at Pilgrim. The young, the moneyed, and the European tourist seem to be the primary targets. The cocktails are delectable but small (and, in terms of price, over the neighborhood median), but are well-made, with unique flavorings, similar to Misi or Lilia. Try their martini. The plates of food aren't exorbitantly priced but they are teeny tiny. Snack culture, not a meal. And very good. Service and servers couldn't have been friendlier, but they are uniformed as if this is a White Lotus resort by the sea. read more

to anyone who's been dying to try misi or lilia but hasnt been able to snag a reservation - fear not! my friend and i dined at misipasta at 4pm on a sunday and were seated quickly. you're greeted by an italian a coffee bar upon entry, but the real magic is happening at the back of the house where you'll find fresh pasta being made. there were only 2 pasta options on the menu, so of course we decided to order both. both the ricotta ravioli and lemon spaghetti were delicious, but the spaghetti was my preference between the two. the counter seating is a bit tight, but it was a bit too chilly for me to opt for outdoor seating. overall, a great dining experience here. read more

Really nice outside in the back of the pasta shop. They have a small menu, but everything tastes quite fresh. Great place to sit outside and get a spritz and feel like you're somewhere in Europe. Food wasn't really amazing in my opinion, but not bad by any means and the vibe was great. I think the hype surrounding the pasta shop has died down a bit, and they have plenty of tables usually open outside, even on weekends. You can reserve a table on Resy, but I was able to walk in no problem. Obviously overpriced, but a good way to try MISI before the restaurant down the street. read more

I wasn't really sure how I felt about this place. I felt the prices were too much - $25+ for just 6 pieces each for ravioli and mezzaluna. Their menu is very small which I understand - they focus on a few specialty dishes. The space was small but pretty. Helen Rosner really did me dirty on this one. I was visiting NY this past weekend and made a reservation at Misipasta based on her glowing New Yorker review from March 2024. I should absolutely have gone for Lilia, which I have been to and enjoyed thoroughly several times before, but I wanted to try something new from what I thought was a reliable chef. In hindsight, I should have just resigned myself to going to Lilia and being treated like trash by a waiter who hates me and sitting outside at an uncomfortable table with a reservation time of 10pm and paying several hundred dollars for actually good pasta while I look through the window at the rich people who managed to snag a table inside, because at least I would have had really good food. Instead I found myself sitting at a table in a dark, silent gravel pit of a backyard patio, with a waiter who still hates my guts, and while I may have paid less than I would have at Lilia, I still paid WAY too much for boring food. My number one frustration is that they march you past a case full of several varieties of fresh pasta available for purchase and cooking at home, but then the actual menu for a sit down meal contains only TWO varieties of pasta, and they're both boring. For a place that literally has PASTA right in the name, and that sells at least 4 or 5 different kinds of pasta in the retail area, I really don't get why there aren't more pasta options on the menu. And also, if you're going to have only two kinds of pasta on the menu, why not make them something unique that I couldn't just make myself at home? The menu is small, which on its own doesn't bother me, but I simply did not find anything on the menu very compelling. There was an off-menu dish of prosciutto and gougeres which we only found out about when we expressed surprise to our waitress at the limited menu. In the end our group of 3 ordered the prosciutto and gougeres, chickpeas, squash, and the two pastas (one was spaghetti with lemon and bottarga and the other was ravioli in red sauce). Perhaps I made a mistake not ordering the sandwich which seemed to be popular, but I don't want a sandwich for dinner and that also seems hard to share. The gougeres were pretty good, and the prosciutto was decent but it was literally just some sliced prosciutto on a plate. The best thing we ordered was probably the delicata squash, which actually had a lot of flavor and a great green sauce on it. But it was essentially 3 1/2-inch-wide half moons of squash for $18 (maybe more? I don't even remember). The chickpeas may have been even more disappointing than the lack of pasta options. I paid at least $16 real American dollars for 45 chickpeas dumped in a bowl with a teaspoon of olive oil, 2 quartered cherry tomatoes, and some dried herbs, and I have to live with that for the rest of my life. And of course, as mentioned previously, the pasta options were nothing special. The spaghetti and bottarga was just not giving much of anything, flavorwise. It should have been punchy with lemon or salty from the bottarga but it was just..nooodles in a bowl. The ravioli were still a bit chilled in the middle, and the red sauce it was in was too thin and not adequately salted and all the sauce just slid off the ravioli when you brought it to your mouth. When our waitress came by to ask if we wanted dessert (which, per the above, was a big no), she asked if "everything was great??" I nodded glumly and I think she got what I was putting down, but if the question had been asked in a way that actually wanted an answer, the answer would be no. Everything was not great, or even that good, and definitely not worth wasting an out-of-towner's meal over. I could see popping in here if I lived in the neighborhood and wanted to buy pasta to make at home, or *maybe* stopping in for a snack and glass of wine, but this is not a place for a sit-down meal, and definitely not a place for dinner. My new favorite place! I absolutely love this concept. Super high quality products to make the best dishes from Misi and Lilia at home. In addition this market/eatery offers a handful of dishes and drinks to enjoy in-house. Cute little outside dining area as well. I visited the first time with a few friends and the service matched the quality of the food. The place was absolutely packed, but the Manager took really great care of my party to make sure we had a place to sit. He was also incredibly knowledgeable about the items being sold and he provided great recommendations. In addition the great food we had while on-site my friends and I took a bunch of stuff home so that we could pull off our best Missy Robbins impersonations. Cannot wait to go back. read more

Get the pasta takeout, or stop in for a quick drink&bite. I would not sit down for a meal here again. The seating, omg. Is this what NYC dining has come to? It is acceptable to spend $50-100/head for lunch.. sitting on stools, hunched over a table that is 2 square feet at best? I cannot emphasize enough, how comically small the table is. Imagine a 14" or MAYBE 16" MacBook, folded all the way open. You get the keyboard side and your date gets the display side. The tables are little nooks jutting out from the shelving. When I eat my sad midtown salad lunch at my desk at work, it is luxuriously spacious by comparison. The seating is acceptable for a sweet green fast casual price point, not this. read more

The pasta was perfectly cooked and the pomodoro sauce as good and flavor packed as all Misi's creations. We also had the mozzarella En Corroza which was delicious. I prefer adding lemon which was brought right away. The portions are not large and the bill was expensive but still it was so good I was happy to have eaten there. It's November fifth and we had the good fortune of eating in the garden. The new shop that makes the pasta in the window and the sauces to go are also worth the visit. An okay upscale pasta bar. The decor is cute and the bar stools are bad. The only real tables and chairs appear to be outside on the beautiful patio. The kitchen is open which is cool. The menu is very limiting, especially for vegetarians, and they are unwilling to make any modifications. The food was very good though (including the mustard green salad, ravioli, and the surprisingly spicy artichoke sandwich), The chickpea farinata was dry and not my favorite. read more

As a lover of Missy Robbins' other two restaurants, Lilia and Misi, in Williamsburg, I absolutely wanted to give Misipasta a try. My fiancé and I stopped in on one of our evening walks on the first beautiful day in April. We walked in without reservation and were seated at one of these really small tables inside of the café restaurant. The place itself is a pasta shop where they make pasta handmade in house and they sell a few other items such as different cheeses, sauces peppers, tomatoes. Anything you would need to dress up your pasta at home. They also have small plates that you can enjoy if you choose to dine in. Overall, I would say all of these dishes were very unique. We ordered three items and asparagus dish is stuffed pasta along with a breaded cheese. Surprisingly the asparagus was my favorite, it was light and refreshing with just enough citrus and spice for that beautiful day. They also have a mocktail that they offer with zero proof alcohol, which is great for those that are not drinking. Overall, this is a great place to purchase pasta and all of the fixings for your pasta to make at home. But I would definitely opt to go to the restaurants for for dinner. read more

What a gem. Spent an amazing afternoon eating the most delicious food on the back patio. Part emporium, part restaurant. Freshly made pastas and sauces available for purchase. The small menu is perfect for sharing varied plates, each one spectacular. Booked a pasta tasting that was touted as being "hosted by Chef Robbins." On the night of the event, she was not in attendance because apparently she was sick. I completely sympathize with sickness, but the whole point of the tasting event was that she'd be in attendance as host. We did not receive notification in advance that she wasn't going to be there, and the tasting had a "no refund" policy, so when we showed up, of course we were forced to dine despite the glaring absence of the host. The restaurant basically gaslit me, reacting as if it wasn't a big deal that she wasn't there and when I sent an email (and then a follow up email) expressing my disappointment, they literally never responded. Absolutely abhorrent customer service. I'll refrain from frequenting Chef's restaurants going forward as I suppose she's just so famous now she doesn't care about the people who've been dining at her restaurants since Lilia opened in 2016. Since I've enjoyed both Misi and Lilia, I thought I'd treat myself to a spontaneous lunch at Misipasta. The space itself is very cute, and I said in the lovely tree-shaded backyard. The service was also pleasant. The problem was the food--or rather the lack of it. The menu has fewer than 10 items, some vegetables, a couple of sandwiches, and one pasta. I had the zucchini and farina pancake. They were ok but not worth $30. I left hungry. read more

The seating area was nice outside under a big maple tree. But the prices for these small dishes were not worth the price. $25 for a small rockhard sandwich with a tiny sausage patty and sauces that the chef would not give me, the customer the option not to have. Buzzy new local spot. Came here as a walk-in, waited about 20-25min to get seated. While reservations are booked far in advance online (already!), they do save a portion of their tables for walk-ins. Great food, energetic ambiance, simple yet very delicious menu. Chef Missy Robbins brought out my pasta dish which was a pleasant surprise. I saw her engaging with diners, always great to see a chef/owner interacting with her customers. Overall a great experience except for my waiter advising they don't do take out boxes for leftovers when I asked to get a box or paper wrap for the second half of my artichoke sandwich. I didn't want it going to waste so was a bit disappointed in his response. Luckily the hostess checked in with me upon passing and got me a box, which I really appreciated. Conveniently located walking distance from Domino Park, which is great for burning off the carbs post-meal. Looking forward to coming back and seeing the menu evolve. read more

Amazing experience and amazing food. I got a spritz with vermouth and it was the best drink I have ever had.

I think this place is meant to be more of a shop than a restaurant. If you find yourself there and with the mood of eating a small dish or drinking a coffee go for it because the food is basically highlights of Lilia & Misi. The whole vibe of the place is amazing. The fresh pasta, sauces and desserts are as good as they can be, and it's so easy to take them home and enjoy with friends. Service is great! But again, this is not a restaurant, see it as a tapas place or a pop up, in that way, it's flawless. I'm a huge fan of Missy Robbins and again, this does not disappoint. read more

We love Misi, but Misipasta - No. We had reservations at 8:00. Took a 45 minute subway one way to get there. The limited menu of 7-8 items was fine and we looked forward to enjoying the fun space. Problem was they only had maybe three items left. We had one glass of wine with a bill of $20 dollars, left, and ate somewhere else. Word to the wise - call ahead and see how many items they have available. This is a great concept but needs to be executed better. read more
