We recently checked out Pasta De Pasta, and I ordered the Alfredo pasta and added crispy chicken, and the pasta was really good. You could clearly tell it was made fresh, and the Alfredo sauce was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The only slight disappointment was the arancini... They tasted alright, but were much smaller than we anticipated, so next time I'd probably just stick with the pasta dishes. I also liked the counter-order concept where they call your name when the food is ready, which keeps things casual and easy. The staff was friendly, the inside was modern and clean.

Ok wow if I could give this place 6 stars I would. Hand pulled, fresh, homemade pasta. What's better than that? As you can see I devoured my plate and after this I will shamelessly say I got 3 more. Staff were really nice, they convinced me to get a tiramisu (which was amazing) and it wasn't too crowded inside. I don't live in the area but when I come back I will be trying more!!

Overall a solid spot to get quick, fresh pasta. I got the fettuccine alfredo and added broccoli, crispy chicken, and parmesan. Minus a star because some of my broccoli pieces were cold. It was like if someone microwaved frozen broccoli, but didn't do it long enough so the stem was ice cold, but the floret portion was warm. The crispy chicken was thin and added a good crunch to the pasta. It wasn't very saucy, which is what I prefer so that I don't get tired of the taste. With all my toppings, it came out to around $17. My boyfriend got the ravioli with pesto & dried tomatoes (about $15) and the flavor of the sauce was really good! It's a really open spot with ample seating. Service was ok, the cashier we had wasn't really friendly and kind of seemed impatient with us while we were figuring out how to order.

Delicious fettuccine Alfredo for under $10--extra if you add toppings, but still worth it! Very yummy and filling. The place is cute and simple, with both two-person tables and a long communal table, which is rare in NYC. I'd come back.

Don't let the fact that the price is cheap make you think this place is lacking in quality. It is seriously so good! You can watch them make the cheese wheel pasta from outdoors or inside at the counter. Staff is cordial, courteous, and their service is very quick! I got mine topped with Parmesan (which is an extra dollar) and crispy chicken (+$4). The crispy chicken was crispyyyyyyyyyy and came cutlet style. Overall super tasty and worth it for a starting price of $9.90! The serving is generous too. They've got plenty of seating and the seats have got a wireless charger built into the table that worked with my iPhone. The space was clean and spacious and not hard to traverse.

Something so simple, yet so good. Pasta tossed in a cheese wheel. I found Pasta de Pasta on TikTok and added it to my list of MUST visit. There was a line, but it moved quickly. I ordered fettuccini w/ crispy chicken with arabbiata sauce. The breaded chicken was cooked to perfection, the sauce was a nice spicy kick to the pasta. The pasta is fresh and homemade. My family got multiple bowls and agreed that it was good. This is my favorite place to eat on my recent trip to NYC. Cannot wait to be back.

The decor is nice and the food was not bad not amazing but out of 10 stars I'd give it a 6/10 We had pasta with bolognese and mushroom and onion - total with 2 drinks $34 so a pretty decent portion and we were stuffed I'd go back but won't be sad if I don't Service was good

Well, I was influenced. They got me. I was mindlessly scrolling through that clock app one night in September and boom, pasta in NYC. I thought to myself this would be a great spot to stop and eat before heading to the train station. It's worth the visit. A nice quick delicious meal. My friend and I happened to be on the Citi rental bikes. We were able to roll up and park behind a construction vehicle that was not operating because well it was the evening around 7pm. Once we parked our bikes, I headed to the short line to order. I was in line maybe 10-15 min, then waited for our food for about 5-7 minutes. Once I had our food I headed outside to eat by our bikes. Honestly it was a magical New York moment. I opted for the special, meatballs with marinara with homemade alfredo pasta, and my friend opted for the chicken cutlet with Alfredo pasta. I love that you can see into the large front window. Watching them cook is pretty neat. There is large glass windows in the back of the restaurant where you can see employees make the homemade pasta ect. There is also a bathroom which is always an added bonus. The staff were working hard and were very polite. They were doing well at paying attention The way I think of this place is an upper scale fast food for pasta. It is delicious, fast and ample seating inside. You also can't beat the price. A meal for $10 or more depending if you add on.

The best part about this place is that the pasta tastes very fresh and chewy (they do make it right there in front of you), but it wasn't anything special to me. The base pasta is alfredo, and you then have the option to add on additional sauces/toppings as you'd like. I chose the bolognese. Again, everything was very fresh, but it was just a little too overwhelming. It's very rich already with the alfredo sauce, and then the bolognese just made it even more savory. I do love fast casual pasta eateries, though, and I'm glad they get business.

Visited with a friend last week! I ordered the fettuccini with crispy chicken and broccoli. I love the recyclable bowls. The food was very rich and yummy. Less than $20 for the bowl. You put in the order at the counter and then they call you to come grab it. We sat at the long center table on stools. I do wish the stools had backing for comfort. The decor is simple but nice, and the lighting is bright. It started to get very busy around 6pm. It's like fast food, but nice fast food. I'd go again if I'm in the neighborhood.

Pesto and dried tomatoes with extra parm
    Dan K.

Hip place mostly for the novelty of the experience. The concept is fresh made fettuccine noodles that are cooked right away with parm from an actual parm wheel. So it's really fast-ish food. You can even see them making the pasta in the back. There's the base Alfredo but then options to add other things like crispy chicken or dried tomatoes with additional sauces like bolognese or pesto (which is in addition to the Alfredo) and even extra parm. You order at the counter, wait a few minutes, receive your order and eat it. There is no table service but there are plenty of seats (kinda chaotic) but it's fast food so seats come up quickly. I got the pesto and dried tomato and extra parm for $14 (skip the extra parm and save $1).

Fettucine Alfredo with tomato pesto and crispy chicken

Stopped by for quick dinner before a movie. There was plenty of seating inside from a few tables and mostly stools (also charging on the side counters). I didn't have to wait too long for my order: fettuccine alfredo with the addition of pesto, tomato and crispy chicken. I wished that they mixed the pesto with the pasta because by the time I finished eating the chicken and got to the pasta it had already sort of hardened and clumped together. The chicken was interesting, the outside had a crispy coating but the meat felt sort of snappy like eating chicken cartilage which was unexpected. The tomatoes were tangy and a bit tart. I didn't really taste the pesto sauce too much. I felt like besides the additions of meat, adding the sauce won't make much of a difference for the flavor. Personally, the sauce felt a bit too heavy for me so I ended up not being able to finish the whole order. It was quite a large portion of pasta though, so it's a good spot to fans of fettuccine alfredo.

No frills pasta joint with good vibes. I would say this is a fast food type place but healthier and tastes better. Had similar pasta in Rome. Every dish was a 4/5 Bolognese, mushroom, and chicken

Walking in, there is a decent amount of seating and you can see them making the food fresh in front of you. I do like how small the menu is - small menu generally menus fresher food. I don't really eat dairy so just ordered the fettuccine without cheese and then chose the arrabbiata sauce. I wish they gave me a heads up about how spicy the sauce would be - my mouth was legit on fire. Food wise - I didn't love the portion sizes, I was definitely hungry after it was over and felt the texture of the pasta was softer than I'd like - probably because it's fresh. Even though I was burned this time (literally with the spice), I'd be down to come back and try another one of their sauces and even be more open minded about adding dairy since it seems like one of their specialties!

I was at this tasty Italian spot a while ago for dinner with one of my groups, where we shared a…read morebunch of dishes as per usual. The place wasn't super crowded, but there were eventually some people there. The place felt comfortable, and the service was friendly. To drink, I got the Blood Orange Negroni for $17 with Hendricks gin, Campari, sweet vermouth, fresh blood orange juice, and a slice of orange as garnish. I usually prefer Negronis that lack Campari as I find that liquor to be a bit too sweet, at least as far as amaro goes, but this was tasty and better balanced as the juice and gin helped to reduce the sweetness. I would recommend it. They gave us some fresh bread with some good olive oil to begin with, which was tasty. Our only appetizer was the $18 Fried Trio, listed as a tempting mix of crispy fried goat cheese w/ honey & chili oil, carbonara arancini, and capers croquettes. This also came with some tomato sauce for dipping, presumably primarily for the arancini. My preference of the bunch was the fried goat cheese due to the bit of funk and spice. I also liked the arancini as the texture was nice, while my least favorite were the croquettes. This was a nice mix, though perhaps a bit salty. For main dishes, we got two pastas, which were both $19, and two entrees. My favorite of the entrees easily was the Mushroom & White Truffle Lasagna with shiitake, porcini, and cremini blend of mushrooms, béchamel sauce, truffle ricotta, and fresh mozzarella on top. Many lesser spots would mix all these things and make the dish a bit too earthy or almost perfumy from the truffle and mushroom flavor, but not this one. There was just enough of the béchamel and cheese that it was pretty balanced. The pasta texture was nice also. This was rich but delicious, and easily worth the price. I wasn't as big a fan, though that is more because of a caveat, of the Hot Rigatoni Vodka With Guanciale & Sausage, listed as rigatoni pasta in a creamy, spicy vodka sauce, paired with rich guanciale and spicy sausage. I generally prefer guanciale in dishes like pasta alla gricia rather than in already spicier tomato sauces, as I tend to find that the flavor doesn't shine through as much. Otherwise, the pasta was cooked perfectly, and there was plenty of meat inside. We liked both of the mains also. A slight preference goes to the Flounder a la Francese for $26, with lightly battered flounder pan-fried to golden perfection and finished with a delicate white wine and lemon butter sauce. It was a large piece of fish, and it was indeed tender with a light batter. There were plenty of capers, but it wasn't too salty, and the bit of pasta on the side was perfectly cooked as well. I would recommend this. Our last entree was the $34 Short Ribs With Polenta, consisting of tender, slow-braised short ribs over a creamy bed of polenta. The texture of the polenta was nice, and the short ribs were indeed tender, but not too fatty. This was the plainest of the entrees, but it was still tasty. This was a tasty Italian spot with quality food at reasonable prices. I would definitely go back.

There were only two other tables with guests in the restaurant. The service was super quick. I got the pulled pork tortellini; the tangy, butter sauce was really good, but the tortellini portion was small. I preferred the rigatoni that my husband got. The bread that they bring to the table was fresh and delicious. I would come here again.

Was also thoughtful in handing us our orders correctly which was nice. For the food itself I heard good things and was hoping to love it more-- but I think I was slightly disappointed. The flavors aren't so bad overall and if you have a pasta itch it'll scratch. But I've tried other places better at a similar or even cheaper price point with protein added in. I got the "some like it hot" while my friend got "midnight desire" with burrata added in. I paid about 22 for each dish. Now for my thoughts - flavor for "some like it hot" was not bad, sauce was a slight bit watery for my liking. The spice was nice and I liked that part the most. Pasta was "OK". The ravioli was stuck together for some, filling was adequate but, I would've liked a little more. I don't want to sound harsh, but it was all around just an ok spot. Maybe it was just that day. Burrata added is nice, I took mine to go do sadly it was melted on top (recommend to pack the burrata separately for to go orders) - "midnight desire" is basically vodka and the flavor for this one was kind of odd for me. Not the normal vodka I am used to. I personally wouldn't really get it again. It wasn't a bad sauce, just not like vodka I know. Had a slight "bitter(?)" aftertaste from some seasoning I guess. I'm not a pasta connoisseur but I AM Italian and I've tasted a wide ranger of pastas lol-- I think yummy cheese pasta in Hell's Kitchen offers a similar concept, portion but is more filling, diverse options for adding and overall, slightly cheaper. Perhaps I'll give this place another try on another day..
