I've ordered takeout and delivery from Pastagasm multiple times and they never disappoint. The food is delicious. Hand made noodles and homemade sauces every single day, fresh ingredients and lots of delectable options. The service is always good the cashier is usually a sweet Italian man and they sell Italian sodas and candies in the front as well. I love the way the shop looks it's completely PINK and plush. I will always recommend Pastagasm to others and will always order when I'm in the area

Ambiance: small store with design that accurately represented its name Service: Counter order. Fast and was helpful in helping decide order Food: Underwhelming is the best way I can describe the experience. The pasta was overpriced at 20+ for a relatively small bowl that seemed close to grocery store sauce and noodle

Great pasta! But a bit pricey considering it is not a fine dining. You would get more food for the same price elsewhere. Pasta itself is very good but sauce is just plain typical sauce and nothing special. But I would say it is a good lunch spot for those working in the office. Their service is quick, and if you don't want to pay tips, this is the place. There are many solo eaters if you always feel awkward to dine out alone.

Pastagasm is a cute, small, cozy spot for some cool pastas. They have some seating so that you can eat there. It's not enough for a large group though. They have a nice variety of pastas and sauces with some combinations available as well. My daughter got the plain spaghetti with marinara, she enjoyed it. I got the pistachio pesto ravioli... The pesto had a very interesting flavor, I really liked it. My only complaint was that the raviolis was a small portion compared to the other spaghetti and linguine dishes. The guy at the counter was alright, was pretty quiet and patient, but didn't really offer any insight or suggestions to the menu. Overall, it's not something I'd be dreaming about.

Nothing special. I had the "Some like it hot"--ravioli in a spicy tomato sauce, topped with burrata. The pasta is fresh and cooked to a nice al dente, but it still felt unsatisfying and as though it needed something. There's many better pasta places in the city.

Not my favorite. I wouldn't really recommend this spot other than if you want a casual place and want to be semi full (from the carbs). Not much seating, but it's cute for what it is! No service involved.

Tasty and fun. The dish is not so large but also not so small. Overall good and recommended.

Really cute place and great price for the pasta that you get. With all the workspaces in the area, I can definitely see people coming by to grab some lunch. It's all housemade pasta, and you can TELL. I had the cacio e pepe which was al dente and had that cacio e pepe flavor that you love. And we also tried the some like it hot ravioli which came so generously stacked with ravioli. I feel like usually at italian places they give you like 5-6 pieces of ravioli, but my sister and I shared and we each got to have at least 5-6 pieces each. Definitely a great new add to the area if you're looking for a pasta fix!

Pasta is fresh, prices are ok (not pricy but portion is very small) and the service is quick.

The burrata and pesto pasta tasted just okay-- wasn't a big fan of the burrata and I don't think I've ever disliked burrata before (I order it a lot). The pesto tasted fine, albeit rather forgettable, but I will say that the dish as a whole didn't taste too salty which I appreciated

In NYC for a conference, found this whole in the wall. Needless to say it was good. Had the fettuccine bolognese aka Italians do it better. My pasta craving was satisfied.

This was a quick and easy meal with a variety of customizable options. The vodka sauce was kind of thin and oily.

I ordered the Lamb Ragù pasta, and every bite was packed with rich, slow-cooked flavor. To start, my brother and I shared a pizza and the lobster appetizer, and both were incredible. My brother ordered the truffle pasta, and after stealing a few bites, I can honestly say it was just as unforgettable. The atmosphere was on another level. Even on a Tuesday night, the restaurant was buzzing with energy, full of happy people, great conversations, and an authentic Italian vibe that made you want to stay for hours. The service from Jose was outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had an amazing experience. If you're looking for incredible Italian food, outstanding service, and one of the best dinner spots in the East Village, OLIO E PIÙ belongs at the top of your list. Management was very accommodating on various levels - no need to describe the details as it's not relevant for an average review. know before you go - you literally have no other cheese but to have cheese in your pasta. Note that this is not a place for lactose intolerant kinds. I thought the concept was fresh pasta (which it is) but their ultimate menu items must include that cheese wheel. So fine. I figured they can at least give a non-cheese dish but rules are the rules. The place was packed on a weekend early evening. Lines were not forming (like it showed in the viral videos) but they were cooking up quite a bit at the front, because of carry out orders. Either way, on all angles - literally pretty much everything is ALL good and very positive. However, the one thing that needs to be addressed is that wheel made of cheese. Whoever created that chunk of a wheel, kudos to them/company. By golly - that gargantuan of a wheel was so filled with calories - I kid you not, it almost converted me to being lactose intolerant! So if you're about to have triple bypass the next day, I do not recommend this joint until you're fully healed. Yes, the flavors were good, but the cheesey elements were just too too rich. You also cannot tell them to lessen it, it's just set the way they cook the pasta within that barrel. Otherwise, the decor/ambience was nice, and tidy aspects really show through. Customer service was wonderful. Support your local businesses!
