I get the Tuesday Special every Tuesday. Fettuccine Alfredo for $5. It's delicious and tasty for the price. A quick bite to eat when you finish the work day and before getting on the subway ride home. For the Tuesday Special. There is a time frame to get it. From 12pm to 3pm. Nearby Transit: West 4th Subway F,M,B,D,A,C,E Trains. M55, M20 Busses.

Cool experience watching the cheese wheel pasta being made. We ordered for pickup in advance but when we got there during our pickup time, they were just starting to prepare the meal. The portion sizes were good but the taste was average. Nothing special. Overall, this place feels more like a gimmick than anything else.

For what it's worth, it's not bad; it's just exactly what you think it is. It's homemade pasta drenched in cheese sauce for five dollars. It's pretty filling, but you're basically just loading up on carbs and cheese, so even though you'll get full, you won't feel fulfilled. There's not much variety, just a small piece of bread and the cheesy noodles. The service was pretty nice, though. There was a bit of a miscommunication when I went up to pay, and the ambiance is fairly quiet, even with the mascot jumping around. It's relatively relaxed overall. The space is small, and they're working with a limited setup, and there are a bunch of competing eateries nearby.

Finally got the try the $5 cheese wheel pasta bowl. Portion wise it's worth the price. As for the taste, it could be better in my opinion. They have a variety of options but they are not part of the $5 deal and it's just the fettuccine pasta. The place is tiny inside but they do have a some tables to sit and eat. If you love pasta and want to grab a quick and filling bite this might be for you. They have a cute little mascot!

Reasonably priced $11 for a fettucine, missed the $5 Tuesday deal! Kid approved and hits the spot after a whole day of walking.

I'm so glad I did because it ended up being such a great find! Sometimes the best places are the ones you discover unexpectedly, and this was definitely one of them. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, making it feel cozy and inviting. I would say it's a great spot for a small group of around four people to grab a bite to eat, enjoy some delicious pasta, and catch up with one another. Despite the smaller space, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was great from the moment I walked in. Since it was my first time there, the staff asked if I had visited before. When I told them I hadn't, they were very helpful in explaining how to order and guiding me through the process. I really appreciated that because it made the whole experience easy and enjoyable, especially when there were so many delicious-looking pasta options to choose from! Everything on the menu looked so yummy, and it was honestly hard to decide what to get. I eventually went with the chicken fettuccine, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! One of my favorite things about this place was seeing the pasta being made right in front of me. They use fresh cheese, and you can really appreciate the care that goes into preparing the dish. There's something special about watching your food come together fresh rather than simply having a plate brought out to you. When I took my first bite, I was immediately impressed! The pasta was delicious, creamy, cheesy, and full of flavor. It was exactly what I was craving after walking around the city all day. Every bite was just as good as the first, and before I knew it, I had finished the entire bowl with absolutely no leftovers! That alone should tell you how much I enjoyed it. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Yummy Cheese Pasta. Between the friendly service, the fresh ingredients, the pasta being made right in front of you, and the delicious food, this place definitely deserves five stars from me. I'm so happy I stumbled upon it while exploring New York, and it turned out to be the perfect spot to satisfy my pasta craving. If you're in New York and looking for a delicious, freshly made pasta dish, I highly recommend stopping by Yummy Cheese Pasta. Whether you're visiting with a few friends or just looking for a satisfying meal while exploring the city, this place is worth checking out. I would absolutely recommend it to other pasta lovers, and I'm glad I found this little gem.

Management was very accommodating on various levels - no need to describe the details as it's not relevant for an average review. know before you go - you literally have no other cheese but to have cheese in your pasta. Note that this is not a place for lactose intolerant kinds. I thought the concept was fresh pasta (which it is) but their ultimate menu items must include that cheese wheel. So fine. I figured they can at least give a non-cheese dish but rules are the rules. The place was packed on a weekend early evening. Lines were not forming (like it showed in the viral videos) but they were cooking up quite a bit at the front, because of carry out orders. Either way, on all angles - literally pretty much everything is ALL good and very positive. However, the one thing that needs to be addressed is that wheel made of cheese. Whoever created that chunk of a wheel, kudos to them/company. By golly - that gargantuan of a wheel was so filled with calories - I kid you not, it almost converted me to being lactose intolerant! So if you're about to have triple bypass the next day, I do not recommend this joint until you're fully healed. Yes, the flavors were good, but the cheesey elements were just too too rich. You also cannot tell them to lessen it, it's just set the way they cook the pasta within that barrel. Otherwise, the decor/ambience was nice, and tidy aspects really show through. Customer service was wonderful. Support your local businesses!

The crispy chicken was good, but the fettuccine was bad. The fettuccine was too salty. I don't know if they put too much salt in the water when boiling the pasta or what, but that's what it tastes like. Good portion though, it filled me up. I don't know why this place is so famous on TikTok. I would not spend my hard-earned money here again.

Was also thoughtful in handing us our orders correctly which was nice. For the food itself I heard good things and was hoping to love it more-- but I think I was slightly disappointed. The flavors aren't so bad overall and if you have a pasta itch it'll scratch. But I've tried other places better at a similar or even cheaper price point with protein added in. I got the "some like it hot" while my friend got "midnight desire" with burrata added in. I paid about 22 for each dish. Now for my thoughts - flavor for "some like it hot" was not bad, sauce was a slight bit watery for my liking. The spice was nice and I liked that part the most. Pasta was "OK". The ravioli was stuck together for some, filling was adequate but, I would've liked a little more. I don't want to sound harsh, but it was all around just an ok spot. Maybe it was just that day. Burrata added is nice, I took mine to go do sadly it was melted on top (recommend to pack the burrata separately for to go orders) - "midnight desire" is basically vodka and the flavor for this one was kind of odd for me. Not the normal vodka I am used to. I personally wouldn't really get it again. It wasn't a bad sauce, just not like vodka I know. Had a slight "bitter(?)" aftertaste from some seasoning I guess. I'm not a pasta connoisseur but I AM Italian and I've tasted a wide ranger of pastas lol-- I think yummy cheese pasta in Hell's Kitchen offers a similar concept, portion but is more filling, diverse options for adding and overall, slightly cheaper. Perhaps I'll give this place another try on another day..

I haven't tried them all, obviously -- too many coffee shops -- but what I have tried, and come back to, over and over, is the products of the amazing team at Posto. It's not just about the skillfully made drinks or the balance of flavors, the fresh, Italian-style coffee or the filled-to-order Italian donuts and Maritozzos (iykyk) -- it's the overall ambience. You come here to put down the screen and enjoy the moment. So often do we rush through our coffees, or even bring them to meetings, at the beck and call of the city's hustle. But at Posto the kind, talented, customer-first team asks you to slow down and escape all of that, to savor every sip of coffee in the classic Italian style. Walking in feels more like a poem than a cafe. Gone are the transactional, disingenuous "how are you's" and instead you get to discover all sorts of fun barista (and bar) creations, Tuscan products, and fresh pasta. The servers and owner are always read to provide a recommendation, and like in Italian cafes, they bring whatever treats and drinks you land on to you. (My favorite aperol spritz is also from Posto.) Outside, the peaceful garden hosts two large umbrellas. It's vibrant, as if you're in a neighbor's backyard and they are willing to share a colorful moment with you, birds chirping overhead. As I finished the last drop of my cappuccino this morning, I realized that forty-five minutes had passed, and every sip of coffee was just as good as the last. Thank you!
