This spot has been on my list for months and was able to stop by on a Saturday afternoon with no wait! My sister and I split Al Pomodoro Gnocchi with burrata and it was delicious. This is a great spot to stop by to grab pasta to go and walk around the neighborhood.
I got the pesto gnocchi with burrata on top and it was so creamy. Served in a takeout box, it's the perfect grab and go lunch or dinner. Definitely ask for the burrata as it makes the flavor a bit less heavy.
Literally so good I think I died. The black truffle cacio e pepe sauce, with burrata cheese was to die for. It is $18, but gnocchi anywhere else in NY will run you $30! This was so good, my bestie and I door dashed an order of the vodka sauce gnocchi to our hotel the same night. Definitely recommend!
Is it a pint of mouthwatering General Tso's chicken? No, it's a pint of gummy gnocchi with overly spiced and soupy sauce served in a Chinese takeout container. The sauce was meant to be vodka sauce but it was infused with heavy oregano flavor as if it got mixed up with a marinara sauce, so it was bad flavor and had a watery texture as well. The only positive was the fresh burrata on top which tasted sweet and creamy. The tiramisu was nothing special and overpriced. It's a nice concept, but the execution is sadly lacking. At least the staff was friendly and they had lively music playing.
Late night drunk snack... sure. Sober mid day hungry meal... not sure I would recommend The gnocchi itself is super pillowy and soft. The star of the show had to be the gnocchi black truffle cacio e Pepe but I was soooooooo let down with the gnocchi alla vodka :( it tasted like tomato sauce out of a can. Would definitely recommend you get the cacio e Pepe instead. Tiramisu was good
So I was ready to never come here, but a friend wanted to check this place out and I do like gnocchi and wasn't looking for a big dinner so we decided to check it out. There's a few locations now, including on the UES. Got the pomodoro and honestly the sauce wasn't bad, and the gnocchi was better than I thought, despite knowing that it isn't made fresh or anything. In case you're curious, it's vegan as well, and as long as you get a sauce without cream and no parmesan cheese it's vegan. For the price, it's actually solid since it's around 10 bucks and is great for a light-ish dinner. So, serves a role, but not some place I would be running to. It's far from the best gnocchi in the city, but it's also far from being the worst. And the portable aspect to it is of course, cute.

I ordered the truffle gnocchi! The shop was tiny, but there was a small area outdoors for seating. It was about $13 for a rather generous portion of pasta. They had several varieties of premade gnocchi, which they reheated upon ordering. Personally I found the sauce to be a little overwhelming and the addition of truffle powder on top was too much. For the price and convinence I'd give it 3 stars. I would be willing to try it again and maybe order a different flavor profile.
We truly enjoyed the take out at this place. The gnocchis were soft, tender, light, and they melted-in-our-mouths. They were truly delicious! You won't regret buying them at this restaurant. I can't wait to go back and get it again!

Gnocchi on 9th is a super aesthetic to-go only store that only sells gnocchi with a variety of classic pasta sauces. There is no seating inside, but there's a singular bench right outside of the store if you want to eat right away. There was zero wait on a weekend around 12:45 PM and the pros are that the food is very reasonably priced: just about 10 dollars for a quite a filling meal. Typically, a limited menu is a sign that the store's specialty will be delicious, but unfortunately, I would say this spot was a bit of a let down. The gnocchi itself was really dense rather than soft and pillowy. The vodka sauce was SO bland; there was just the slightest whisper of tomato flavor. Burrata was fine, but really couldn't save the rest of the dish.
Service was absolutely amazing they brought a speaker outside for us to listen to music without us even asking. Burrata was delicious and the gnocchi was perfection!
This was part of a food crawl a friend and I was doing. Social media had showed that these were SOOO GOOD but we thought it was only mediocre. We ordered the gnocchi with vodka sauce and burrata with Parmesan. It was kind of bland for me. I had a few pieces and didn't want to eat the rest. There was no line and we got our food very quickly. There was a little bench outside that fits two people if you would like to eat outside.

Fresh, tasty pasta that you can eat on the go! The gnocchi itself was soft with just the right amount of chew. The burrata topping adds a fresh, creaminess to the pasta that's amazing. I do wish they had some better seating options for folks who wanted to eat it fresh instead of on the go, but it's still worth a try. read more

Who doesn't want a hot little take-away container of freshly made gnocchi?! My girls and I were really excited to try this place and it did not disappoint!! When we walked in the location was super clean and we were greeted warmly. We ordered and our food came out hot and quick. We got the pesto and the vodka. I was worried it wouldn't be enough food for the three of us to split- but we were just fine!! It was HEAVEN!! Warm and filling - two was the perfect amount for us to split. My tummy was so warm and happy - definitely recommend!! read more
Nice fun idea! Great gnocchi and they got the consistency right. Even though it's just on low heat and then they fire it up when you arrive, it's still really flavorful and hot the whole time. The vodka was terrific. Definitely a TON of food for $10. We shared and then were stuffed. read more

The pictures I took won't do the food justice. Nice folks. Small place with just a small area to eat outside. For the price point, it's decent. Don't expect that this is a restaurant type of quality (don't mean that to sound harsh.. just that it's take out, and this isn't fine dining). If you're looking for a quick fix for gnocchi, give it a shot. It was a 3/5 for me. The hit for me was the tiramisu which is brought in from a local bakery. read more

Line was pretty long, but it moved fast. Not many choices on the menu and for what you get the price isn't bad. I got the vodka sauce gnocchi with pepper flakes and parmesan. Honestly might've been a little over cooked and i wish i asked for more cheese. They give you a good amount of gnocchi but since theres no protein, i wasn't full for very long. read more
The perfect place for a grab-n-go gnocchi meal! I love the simplicity of Gnocchi on 9th. The menu is simple and the idea is that it is a to-go spot so there is no seating. The different sauce options to add to the gnocchi are al pomodoro, alla vodka, pesto, and black truffle cacio e Pepe. You have the option to add fresh creamy burrata on top, which I highly recommend. They also offer gluten free gnocchi. The gnocchi is served in a white to-go container. They also have tiramisu for dessert. I had the gnocchi all vodka with the fresh burrata on top for $13. The gnocchi is served hot out of the pot. They are soft and fresh. The alla vodka was not a strong flavor but paired nicely with the gnocchi and burrata. The burrata adds a creaminess to the whole meal. The serving size was large enough that I couldn't finish my meal. I haven't had the other flavor options, but I can imagine them being delicious as well. Gnocchi on 9th is a great option for those looking to take food on-the-go. Loved this! read more
Ive never had gnocchi before and am happy to say gnocchi on 9th was my first experience having it! We opted to try the vodka gnocchi with a burrata on top which came to be around 10bucks or so. The gnocchis texture was perfectly soft, pillowy and had a good amount of chew. The burrata added more texture and cheesiness- but its not really needed! Would def come back to try out their pesto one! read more
I was craving pasta and I came across Gnocchi on 9th. If you feel like eating gnocchi on the go, this place is it! There are some seats inside but it's quite small. After choosing your sauce, you can add red pepper flakes and some Parmesan on it. I do wish it was a little bit more saucy but I understand it's something to have quick and on the go. read more

This spot is a perfect little hole in the wall that will hit all the right spots for your cravings! The service is quick as they've already got the gnocchi cooking. I like that you have the option of choosing your sauce along with a couple of extra add ons they offer as well. The staff was friendly and explained everything. My pasta was ready in about 3 minutes and was delicious. I noticed they even had basil plants outside, which I should've asked if you could pick a couple of leaves off of! I would come here again and recommend it. read more

Cool little place which I first saw on Instagram. We decided to stop for an afternoon snack. We tried the Gnocchi al Pomodoro and added burratta. So good! This is not a sit down place. The gnocchi comes in a takeaway food container (think of the white rice carton from a chinese restaurant). It was seriously enough for two people (depending upon how hungry you are). We shared one order and were good for the afternoon. Service was pleasent and quick. Give it a try. :) read more
Solid, quick take out food! When I showed up, there was no line to order. The menu is fairly straightforward with a rotating special here and there. I ordered the gnocchi alla vodka without burrata on the top. I am not a fan of burrata but you do have the option to add it to your order. They have some bottled drinks available for sale as well. My order was ready within 2 minutes - if that. Super quick, piping hot and tasty! The order is served in a white take out container ala chinese food. I was excited to try this gnocchi spot after seeing it featured all over social media. Since I was in the area, I decided to stop by and give it a try. This is a tiny, takeout only spot with limited to no seating, so keep that in mind if you're looking to dine in. The gnocchi itself was decent--good enough to satisfy a gnocchi craving, but not memorable at all. I think what was memorable only was how small the spot was and how small of a price it was for the portion. They offer the option to add burrata, which I shouldn't have taken because I wanted just the pasta. The portion size was generous, enough to share with another person if you're not too hungry. However, I found the gnocchi a bit bland. It could've used some pepper or other seasoning to elevate the flavor. I think it's a solid choice if you're looking for quick, filling gnocchi, but it didn't quite live up to the influencer hype. read more
This place is solid! A sit-down restaurant for pasta is usually 3x the price but for a takeaway place for pasta, this is a solid spot. Pasta is served in front of you- the sauce and gnocchi are already prepared but still steaming hot. There isn't seating outside- only one bench outside the store so we waited a few minutes for the previous customers to finish their pasta. Gnocchi on 9th is great conceptually and the food is definitely decent. That said, it does taste like I could've made it at home with pre-made groceries from the store. Because New York is so generally overpriced, however, the price point here actually makes the food slightly worth it. Definitely recommend if you're looking for something quick and cheap to grab with your friends. It's great to take down the street and eat on a stoop or in Tompkins Sq Park! read more
A nice little quick bite for people on the go! Really, the gnocchi got tossed into a takeout container and just like that I was in & out. And I literally ate it while walking to my next destination. I found the portion size to be pretty good for the price you pay, too. I didn't think it would be life changing but it's definitely super convenient, tasty, and served on the spot. Gnocchi, I absolutely LOVE gnocchi. Yes, I was influenced to come to Gnocchi on 9th thanks to TikTok, and you know what, I'm not even mad. Was it way over hyped than what it was, absolutely. What I expected and assumed: gnocchi was made fresh (the real dough and rolled). What I got: DeCecco gnocchi made fresh with a delicious pomodoro sauce. Look, I don't want to be that person, and yes, I'm picky (by picky I mean I like simple, fresh and natural) with tomato sauce. It was a tad garlic-y and had the Americanized touch BUT I wasn't mad. To be honest, I don't know why I expected something different. Here's what I now know: it's a DELICIOUS fast food gnocchi approach. It's made at the moment (not hand made but still fresh), it's a great concept. Your base gnocchi al pomodoro are only $10, somehow by adding burrata and tartufo we paid like $30 something for two gnocchi portions. Which again, I'm not even complaining or upset about. We got decent sized portions, the place is a to go place, you eat on the go and everyone that comes just wants to come for photos. Half the people that showed up only ordered 1 portion so they could take photos and videos with their friends. That's my only problem. If you're going to come here, ENJOY it. Take photos, take videos, share about them but enjoy the experience and the moment. Fast food gnocchi on the streets of NYC for $10+ a portion, that's pretty cool. read more

SERVICE - located on the intersection of 9th street and 2nd ave - limited outdoor seating on one bench - extremely quick service - no restrooms available - most people do takeout - good for casual lunch MENU - gnocchi with choice of two types of sauce - vegan options available - well priced ($10 per person) FOOD - gnocchi al pomodoro (8/10): potato pasta with fresh tomato sauce. This is a no frills type of meal. The flavors are exactly what you would expect from a well made gnocchi and pomodoro sauce. I would have liked the option to add on some vegetables or spinach. However, I understand their model is meant for quick service with limited options. WOULD I GO BACK? Maybe if I was in the mood for a quick Italian meal. read more
Came here for lunch after seeing so much hype on tiktok. There wasn't much of a wait which I thought was surprising so I was served right after. If you don't speak Spanish, it was a bit difficult ordering. Only about half my order was right, but I'm not that picky, so it's ok. I ordered the gnocchi vodka with burrata and sparkling water but got gnocchi vodka with the black truffle vodka and sparkling lemonade. The truffle was very very strong and overshadowed the taste of the sauce. I will say though, the pasta was well cooked. I'm unsure if it was homemade though. I think I'd visit again to try it without the truffle to get the full flavor experience, but overall, it was just alright. read more
