All in all food was good. There was a mix of different Asian dishes including ramen and Thai. I had drunken noodles and mom had pad Thai. Nothing out of this word. DRUNKEN NOODLES FOR THE WIN! The best drunken noodles in Brooklyn. Perfectly seasoned and perfectly pan fried. Very cute Thai spot on Franklin avenue. Somewhat small (can maybe seat 15-20 people in total with a small bar area). Good for lunch/dinner and they have a pretty good happy hour running on the weekends. Chicken puff apps are delicious. Pad see eew is on par with others I've had as well. Food is great. Atmosphere leaves a lot to desire. Price a little too high for the portion size. My advice to owners: choose a music that is more appropriate for public dining. If you go to the most successful restaurant you will never notice the music. The price of the salads are too high for such a small bowl. I live down the street from MISC and have dined in and ordered to go at least 10 times in the last month! Everything I try is excellent. I started with the Tropical Rice with shrimp. The shrimp are huge and the flavor of the rice is excellent. I also have ordered the Pad See Ew with vegetarian duck, Garlic Sauce with vegetables and tofu, Tonkotsu Ramen and vegetarian spring rolls. It has made things very difficult for me as I can't decide what to get! The staff is very friendly and it has a cool casual dining experience...and a little plus is that tips are not expected, but they are well deserved. read more

This is my new favorite Asian fusion restaurant. We got the strawberry lemonade and Thai iced tea and both were delicious. The service was very pleasant and quick. The chicken puffs were amazing and we also got ramen and green curry dish. The portion sizes were more than enough and at a pretty good price point. This is the worst restaurant on Franklin Avenue. The delivery driver went inside of a building with my number on the wrong street then called me from inside the building yelling at us to open our door. He realized after yelling at me for about 5 minutes that he was in the wrong building on the wrong street. Ten minutes later he buzzed my door. I asked for a receipt and he refused to give me a copy of my receipt. When I opened the food it was cold and the portions were small for the price. When I called to complain to a manager and ask for a discount or partial refund she yelled at me that she'd need to get our food that had been delivered first. So she wanted to break health code violation and bring old food back to her restaurant. Huge red flags going off with this place. Never order or eat here. Terrible!!!!! read more

I ordered takeout and the food arrived in good time. The beef pho was a large portion. The meat was well cooked but the broth was a bit too salty for my taste. The "veg snacks" were inedible. I really like to support my neighborhood restaurants given the current situation. I have purchased several times from this establishment both in person and deliveries. Generally I find they have dishes they do well and others that are lacking. However, they garnished a 1 star for their poor handling of online order that never showed up! Generally, delivery isn't the fastest but I am understanding considering Covid 19 however, on a Monday evening when I'm given an estimated delivery time of 40 minutes I expect my order to be here after contacting the restaurant. I allowed 1 hour before contacting them about the missing delivery when I was told "oh it right give us 10 to 15 minutes. 20 minutes I contacted them again only to hear "oh you order ticket is here the kitchen never got your order". I expressed that this was unacceptable, and I asked to speak to the manager and that clearly I should recieve my food with a credit for the clear mishandling.I was asked if I wanted a refund and no manager ever spoke to me. The biggest issue is the lies and the absolute lack of organization. Be honest and correct the problem. read more

Pleasantly surprised by MISC! I think I was expecting the food to be just okay--greasy, or over sauced and just good for when you are craving something unhealthy but not the case. I've ordered from MISC twice-- once to dine in and once for take out. The service inside when we dined in was great. The menu has a mix of Thai and Vietnamese favorites. I LOVE that you can get a side of rice noodles with any dish if you wanted something other than the usual steamed rice. We ordered the papaya salad which had the rift amount of spice, was fresh but still well dressed. Both times I've gotten the sautéed basil eggplant with a side of rice noodles and both times was not disappointed. Thick, hot, well sauced (but not greasy that it causes you to regret it later) pieces of eggplant came in the dish with some bell peppers, onions and basil. They don't short change you on the eggplant either! I use the rice noodles to sop up the slightly sweet and tangy sauce! So good and healthy! So glad this opened in my neighborhood because I can now get good, quick Vietnamese/Thai food a few blocks away! Now all they need to do is add a few cocktails to their menu! read more

Ordered the Tom Kha Gai ('coconut soup' on their menu) and was very disappointed. You're given the choice of meat or vegetarian; I ordered the chicken variation but, sadly, that's all it came with. Yes. The soup literally was just broth with a few random lumps of small chicken meat. I always order this soup when I have Thai, and it always, always, has at least some onion and mushroom along with the meat (whether it is chicken, shrimp, etc.). And when I order vegetarian it simply comes with extra of the veggies. 1 Star for the delicious broth, and 1 Star for the interesting new addition to the neighborhood, however I hope they see this and realize how silly and embarrassing the presentation of such a classic Thai soup was. read more

This review is only for the ramen. I'm a HUGE ramen fan and eat it all the time - everything from basic noodles to gourmet restaurants. I was really excited to try this new spot and willing to pay the slightly higher price for the Tonkotsu ramen because of it. Unfortunately I really can't recommend it. The broth was flavorful, but it so salty it was inedible. I had to add over two cups of water to make it bearable. The chashu pork was cut ultra thin so it was dry instead of juicy and the marinated egg had a weird sweet flavor unlike the traditional savory ones. All in all, extremely disappointing and highly overpriced for the quality. I'd steer clear. Hoping other menu items might be better! read more

New favorite for sure...the pork ramen bowl was perfect for the cold day. Everything we ordered was good...the pad Thai...the salmon massaman... the shrimp fried rice. The spot is cozy...so may not work for really large groups. But the way it works is that you get seated, go to the counter, order and pay then they bring your food to your table.
