Nothing fancy, kept it simple in a Thai Vegetable Fried Rice and 5 Chicken Wings. The Fried Rice was REALLY GOOD, pricey as all the rest, but taste wise, better. The Chicken Wings were fried decently, but VERY, VERY SMALL, and at the price point of 5 pieces for $9, is a bit problematic. The size was, in retrospect, quite scrawny, sorry. I got the Thai Fried Rice with Chicken and my partner got the Chicken Pineapple Curry Mild. The fried rice was a good balance of salty and sweetness. My partner was in love with the Chicken Pineapple Curry dish! They described it as a dish they have never tasted before and the perfect balance of sweetness and spicy and mixed it with the sticky rice. My partner complimented the dish to the server and she said many customers complain about the spiciness of this dish so they frequently serve it mild. If you cannot handle spice well keep this in mind. Luckily my partner is Bengali and enjoyed the mild spicy and said they could go for it being spicier. I personally will say this is one of my favorite Thai places of all in Brooklyn. I've ordered from here to stay and to go and honestly it's been unmatched and the flavor here is better than the one down the street so I am a huge fan. If you get their fried rice there's such a rich flavor of basil and all the other seasonings they use and it's super fresh and yummy. Their pad kaprow is one of the best I ever had in my life and I'm sure it's high in calories but wow I couldn't stop eating ! There are no words. The pineapple fried rice was also amazing and their curries are always so good but the pad kaprow was my favorite thing I ever got. I even ordered them for takeout for my birthday and I also tried the papaya salad, green salad with mango dressing and they're both fresh and delicious! The pad see ew also was super flavorful and yummy and you just cannot go wrong with this place. I think their seasoning just tastes so good and really addicting. If you're planning on sitting inside, they do a $9 cash special for their Thai fried rice when you sit inside (I asked and it's strictly enforced only sit in / not take out) the inside is pretty simple and there's only 1 person working there so I would say probably be very patient and they're a small little restaurant so it's really casual. I got the basil fried rice, requested "extra extra extra spicy" (because the spice level is usually never enough for me). I ended up suffering as I ate it, but it was too good to stop. I got the fried calamari 0/10, the calamari isn't CRISPY. No crunch at all, very rubbery and chewy. The Crab Rangoon 5 pcs is 10/10, great sauces In the second photo you the chicken pad Thai noodles. It was a little to greasy for my liking, the chicken portion could've been better. I could count how much chicken i have in my plate. I told the worker my complaint about the calamari and he didn't try to fix it, not a refund or even for them to remake it or something else to substitute it. Everything was delicious. Not super pricey. And quick. The curry had a really decent amount of shrimp (sometimes places and skimp on that protein). It was a little more on the soupy side and I like a thicker texture but it didn't take away from its deliciousness. I LOVE Flatbush Thai Corp. I live in the neighborhood and eat here probably too much. The woman who works the front is incredibly sweet, funny, and helpful. I've tried about half the menu and have never been disappointed, and I've eaten a lot of thai food in my life. This isn't a fancy cutesy kitschy thai place (thank god), it's a well-priced and yummy take out or quick dine in spot. I always like to eat at the restaurant itself and look out over Flatbush, especially in the colder months. When I order delivery they're pretty quick and if you order directly from them there is no service fee. My favorite dish right now is the Pad Krapow (nice and spicy), and all of their curries are hearty. Once again -- LOVE this place. read more
