We love MISC!!! It's become one of our go to takeout and date night spots. Panang curry is incredible!

First time ordering Thai from here... it was delicious and good amount of food for their prices. Food was packed neatly and ready on time.

The atmosphere of this restaurant is fun and welcoming. A friend and I came for lunch with drinks. The menu was concise and full of fresh Asian options alongside classic cocktails. The food arrived very quickly after we ordered so I was initially skeptical of the quality (restaurant was at about 30% occupancy). But the food turned out to be perfect, fresh bright colored veggies, bouncy noodles, and juicy chicken. And to top it off, the staff was very friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be working there. I tried the ramen and it did not disappoint. The broth was perfect and the portion was great. Only thing I can complain about is that the softboiled egg is not marinated in mirin, just a regular egg. Gonna keep coming back to this spot for good eats. read more

The best Thai food in this neighborhood. I love their Thai noodle selection. Very tasty and unique.

Just tried MISC for the first time and I absolutely loved it. Came with a friend on a really chilly Friday night and were able to sit right away, even though the place is very small. We started with the spring rolls. I got a tasty noodle soup with Tom Yum broth and my friend got a salmon curry. I will definitely be back and can't wait to try everything on the menu! read more

Best spot for Thai in the neighborhood, hands down. Haven't tried their pho or ramen but since they opened have ordered many different Thai dishes for delivery, all come fast and hot. Unlike a lot of other local Thai restaurants, the food at MISC tastes fresh and has real flavor... reminds me of the real thing from when I traveled in SE Asia and from better places in Seattle and SF. The staff are very friendly, and although I've only ordered delivery/pickup and never eaten there it looks clean and pleasant. So glad this place opened nearby! read more

I never write Yelp reviews but I feel the need to warn people off this place. The ambience is sort of nice but the food I ordered was basically inedible and definitely overpriced given the quality. I got what was supposed to be a big bowl of tom yum soup with chicken and noodles and stuff in it (it was like a hybrid dish) and the soup that actually came out had none of the flavors of tom yum (spicy, sour, lemongrass) and instead had a brown broth that was so sweet I couldn't eat more than a bite. The flavor was so sweet it was medicinal and it seeped into all the noodles too. Truly gross. The egg (not sure why that was in "tom yum") was also overcooked. My friend said the noodle soup he got was fine but not great. Consider yourself warned. read more

My favorite Thai food place in the area, delicious curry and wonderful drunken noodle. Very polite staff and whenever I order pickup my food is always ready to go very quickly. Great for takeout or good atmosphere for sit down. read more

First experience at this restaurant was terrible. Food was pretty good. I got the calamari fritters and seafood ramen. Our server was rude, short and unhelpful. He would talk to us from tables away. Ask "What do you want" when requesting help. The so called manager was no better. I wouldn't return back to this restaurant due to them which is unfortunate. read more

Rats! I've never seen so many in a restaurant! I don't normally review things (this might be my first time) but my wife has an allergic reaction to rodent hair. We came in and sat down and she noticed something. Shortly thereafter I took a peak in the kitchen and the number of rats visible was incredible. read more

The food is good but it's overpriced for its competition and the neighborhood, even accounting for the discount if you pick up and pay cash. I tried the papaya salad (good and spicy), massaman curry (thick chicken slices, but not as sweet and creamy as other places), and sautéed tofu vegetable dish. Some of the dishes sounded unique but I'm not sure I'm interested enough to pay that much. read more

This is a new place to the neighborhood and we ordered some delivery. We were not disappointed. The veggie stacks were a delight, and the stir fry basil with vegetarian duck was delicious (as weird as that may sound). My husband raved about his green curry too. He made mention of the fresh avocado (bold!) and the pineapple (a dish after his heart). Very happy with the quick delivery and the quality of the food. Welcome to Crown Heights guys. read more

My default for Thai food in the hood, since I only live 2 blocks away. MISC has grown over the past year with better service and food quality. (Although I don't understand why the seamless menu does not offer the same exact items as their real menu). If I were picky- I'd say some they can use less coconut milk and to thicken the curries. But overall, I'm happy they opened up on Franklin Ave. and have added to the food scene in the hood. Thanks ! read more

We love ordering in from the owner's other older restaurant, Born Thai, so we were excited when this place opened up closer to us. But we were disappointed. Every dish was incredibly, cloyingly sweet. This worked OK for the Franklin wings which were the most edible dish and had some spice. But the pad se yu with shrimp tasted blah and the many huge shrimp were FAR from fresh ( smelled really really strongly - did not, could not eat). The pad thai was just a gloopy orange mess of sweetness and the vegetarian rolls were just thick fried rolls of wonton wrappers with no vegetables inside. I am hoping they just need more time to get things sorted out in the kitchen. The standards over at Born Thai are much higher than what we had tonight. read more

AMAZING FOOD AND LOVELY SERVICE! My boyfriend and I had the Calamari Fritters, Shoyu Ramen, and Drunken Noodle with chicken (we split everything because it was so delicious). Seriously awesome Thai! Great food! Quick service. Sriracha wings were on point- serving size was small so know that you are going to want more than one order. Stopped in here because we'd been passing it by for a few months and were curious. Right away was told the soups weren't available tonight -- disappointing but okay. We decided on two pad thais, a green curry with rice noodles, a garlic sauce chicken, and duck rolls to start. We wait twenty minutes and are handed appetizer plates. Then another five and the pad thais and garlic chicken come out: "The duck rolls are coming." The waiter did not say anything about the green curry. We ask and he says "That's coming." Another ten minutes go by and the duck rolls finally come out, lukewarm. My roommate was unimpressed with them. Twenty minutes after the first meal came out, the waiter comes back, clears the empty plates, and places down the green curry with jasmine rice. He runs away before I can remind him it was ordered with rice noodles, not rice. I grabbed his attention and he tells me it will be another minute for the noodles. No apology yet. I ended up taking most of it home because everyone else was beyond finished. When we got the check, we were charged for extra noodles (he took it off quickly which I appreciated, but still!). If the waiters would have offered me an apology, or even an update on why the food took that long, that would have been sufficient. However the lack of empathy was really astounding. Upset too because I want to try the ramen next time. read more

Excellent food, the ramen was as good to go as it was when I dined in (which is actually, what brought me here in the first place, a lot of spots wont do ramen to go, and that was what i was looking for). Haven't had an appetizer i didnt enjoy here, but especially recommend the pork buns. The ramen was excellent, with very rich broth and the fried rice was also really good. Dishes come in pretty ample portions. When we dined in the service was pleasant and attentive. The place is small, but the ambiance and layout are good, it doesn't feel too crowded, even when its at capacity. I agree with some of the reviewers, the weather curtain at the door was not fully effective against the outside cold, we kept on our jackets on my last two visits this spring, but it would not deter me from going again, even in the cooler weather. In spite of the generally positive experiences, one star off because they rung up a take out order for myself and my friend together, refused to let us use two cards (for an even split), to pay for it and refused to separate the orders, which were made by us separately at the counter. On that visit, the place was also very crowded and the restroom was lacking, which was both inconvenient and a little yuck, as it appears to be the same facility used by staff. In spite of this one questionable experience, I will be repeat customer, again, and look forward to trying some other items on the menu. read more

Awful customer service. I used to order from this place at least 2x a week. Last week I ordered and after waiting an hour for delivery I called them and they mistakenly thought it was for pickup. They said they would send the order right over and I asked them to remake it. Instead of remaking it they delivered the cold dish to me. I was annoyed so I called and told them it was cold and the lady on the phone asked how she could make it right and I told her since it was their error they should just credit my account for the meal. Her response, "only if you return the food can we credit it". Really?!? Wow. This is how they treat their customers? Anyway I was annoyed and told them to come pick up the food and refund me. They actually wasted their time to send out a delivery guy to pick up the uneaten food. Anyways I never received my credit... still waiting. Will never eat their again. I don't get what the good reviews are for. Everything I had was incredibly mediocre. I was expecting more because the prices are slightly higher than your average cheap delivery Thai, but once I walked in and saw that they don't expect tips, I realized the price point is actually too low for my taste. The quality was no better if not worse than the super cheap Thai around already. The food was super bland, everything was vaguely mushy, the pad thai was basically just a pile of pasta and a couple shrimp. This is usually what I get first time I visit a new Thai place because it's safe and easy to make, so if you screw it up that is a problem. The shrimp and veggie rolls had a texture that made me think it was all defrosted and cheap. Thai is my favorite and it's really easy to phone it in and make poor quality Thai like this place. It's worth the walk over to Look By Plant Love for some really special food and/or the expense of getting delivery from somewhere farther away like SkyIce.
