I was down the street at the lovestruck bookstore and asked for some pizza suggestions. This place came up so we popped in. Service was great. Our server gave us suggestions of places to explore in the area and our food came fast. We said against the window and it's a very nice vibe. We came in for lunch and they had a $21 special where you get a small salad of your choice and an 8 inch pizza. We each did the lunch special and Caesar salad. We had The Spring Lamb (Lamb sausage, mozzarella, goat cheese, roasted red peppers, red onion, chili flakes, and fresh mint on a mint-basil salsa verde base-- needed more lamb sausage, you could barely see it or taste it.) and Pinocchio (Mozzarella, salami, Italian fennel sausage, pepperoni, kalamata olives, Alta Cucina tomatoes, and parsley on a freshly milled tomato base).

Haven't been here in a while. Came for lunch on a Saturday. It was busy, as soon as we got there a line formed behind us. But we were seated pretty fast. It's not the biggest place but it is super cute inside. Service was good, pizza comes out quick. I had the Spring Lamb and loved it. My friends said their pizza was delicious. As always the food is good here.

I haven't been to this restaurant since before the pandemic. I remember it being delicious so when my group wanted to go to them again, I was all for it. The food was so good. I had the lunch special which was pizza and a salad. I ordered the Pinocchio pizza with the beet salad. I'm a newcomer to beets and I have to say this was a good salad, with feta cheese, the sauce and the nuts, lettuce, it was a good bite. Very refreshing. The service was great. Our server was so engaging and so thoughtful and patient as our group was deciding what to order. This is a great looking restaurant with the outdoor patio and the bay windows from the restaurant so even though you may be sitting inside, you get all the freshness of sitting outside so I would definitely go back to this place again.

This is the quintessential neighborhood place but better. Usually your neighborhood spot is good because its close and friendly (hopefully). But Mioposto is so cozy (without being cramped), classy-cute (without being kitschy) , and absolutely delicious. A really well curated menu of classics and signature items. A nice cocktail and wine selection and friendly service. Whenever we are visiting family in Seattle we come to this convenient (but off the beaten path) location and feel like we've slipped right back into being local again.

This is my favorite place to stop when I travel though Seattle. The eggplant veggie sandwich is life changing!!! The pizza, hash, and drinks were just perfect! The inside is cute and has a warm feel. The staff are all absolutely wonderful.

Happy hour. Beet salad, salumi finochionna, mushroom pizza. ( photo makes the salad look smaller than it is, it's as big as the pizza)

Solid place, but didn't knock my socks off. Flavors were good. Service was attentive and genuine. I think I might have hyped it up in my own mind too much before actually trying them for the first time. It took me 10 months to try this place since I moved to the area. I went for happy hour on a Saturday. I had the Mushroom hunter pizza, beet salad, salumi finochionna and an N.A. beer. $42.50 after tax, but before tip. That's for just one person...however, the salad was huge. I took half home. (my photo makes it looks smaller, but it was as big or bigger than the pizza). Add another drink and what I ordered could've fed two people. My pizza could've used some more color. .I prefer a little more char on the crust, especially a wood fired pizza. However, my 8" happy hour pizza was closer to 11" inches? So maybe I shouldn't be picky. It was a lot of food. Admittedly, I still get sticker shock from food prices in the Seattle area. So this tends to affect my opinion. I honestly don't know if I could afford to eat here if it wasn't happy hour. And even at happy hour prices...$50 with tip is a lot to spend on myself. $50 can buy a lot of dim sum. oh yeah, almost forgot. The rattan barstool thing I was seated on looks like it SHOULD be comfortable, but it was somewhere between uncomfortable and torture after about 15 minutes. Atmosphere was surpisingly loud between the music and conversation of other guests. But kudos for the Gen-X playlist (Depeche Mode, The Cars, Men at Work...).

It was busy Friday night. I ordered meat ball sandwich. It was okay. I have been meatball. Burrata, seasonal, this was good. Roast peach was sweet. Music was very loud, it felt like we were at a club. My friend ordered lamp pizza, she likes to it and not game. I would still with ordering pizza.

I've been to Mioposto more times than I can count and always have a lovely time so I figured it was time to leave a review! Staff at this location are so kind and attentive and remember you after only a couple visits. It's just a very welcoming and warm atmosphere which adds to my experience every time. Ambience is cozy and comfortable, both when it's on the quieter side and when it's packed. I love coming here in the winter and when it's colder because of how cozy it is but it's also great in the warmer months! Food and drinks! They have an amazing happy hour which I would highly recommend, it's nice to order a bunch of things and share. Some personal favorites: the ceci, the bread (very good with the clams, which I'm not normally a fan of!), the pinocchio, pepperoni pintura, the spring lamb, the garnet salad, and the apple crostata. The seasonal drinks they currently have on the menu are INCREDIBLE, the backcountry flu shot was my personal favorite of the night.

Melanzane**

Lovely neighborhood pizza joint with a community feel. We sat at the larger bench and shared with another family. Food was great and had fun conversation with friends and strangers. The Melanzane- roasted Eggplant with fresh mozzarella, fresh arugula, basil mint pesto drizzle was very refreshing. A great vegan dish to share and start a meal. The Fig and Prosciutto pizza was one of the best pizza I have had. Combination of the sweet fig and salty prosciutto strike a perfect balance with a hint of sourness from the balsamic glaze. The crust was light and crunchy yet bready. I top it with the arugula from the melanzane, it was the perfect slice of pizza. We would be back for sure as the wait will be worthwhile.

Spritz mocktail
Riah R.

Had a perfectly executed mocktail this evening-- the lemon spritz. It was a perfect cold January evening to pop up to the bar for a HH salad and a drink while perusing a magazine. Soft lighting, away from the kids, and friendly staff and other customers made for a delightful escape.

Yaaaaasssss! I love an atmosphere, and this spot is nestled in a quaint neighbourhood across a narrow type park. My experience walking through the neighbourhood and dining in it's house-like interior with almost every table offering window views gives the ultimate cozy feel Service was EXCELLENT on a late lunch Friday with a friend. Plenty of dishes and drinks to try giving us a ponder what to choose It's a must when in the area!

Great service and delicious happy hour. Generous salads, the ceasar was delicious! The beet salad was also hood, but the dressing was too acidic for me. Loved the antipasto, especially the goat cheese in that fabulous olive oil. The bread was wonderful. Very fresh and both crusty and chewy. The clams and mussels were both enjoyable, especially the sauce the mussels were in. The sauce for the clams needed more of tge alcohol in the wine cooked off. The pepperoni pizza was one of the best things we had. Very tasty red sauce, lots of cheese. Great crust. Yum!

It's the kind of place where you settle in, sip something cold, and feel like the night's off to a solid start before a concert at the Moore. The salad came out looking vibrant, but the flavors didn't land. The olives took over the whole bowl, and the seasoning felt off and I couldn't pinpoint it. Fresh ingredients, such as the peas were the best by far but the balance just wasn't there. The pizza was fine, not bad, not memorable. It didn't leave you thinking about it later. The employee who eventually helped me was nice, but the overall experience still didn't feel welcoming or attentive. Over several visits, the service has just not matched the quality of the food. In this economy, it's truly a blessing for businesses to still have loyal customers coming through the door and wanting to support local spots. At the very least, customers should feel welcomed, appreciated, and taken care of when they walk in. I genuinely hope they improve the service side of things because the food has potential, the bar vibes they've created are pretty cool as well and I'd love to be able to give this place a better review in the future.

Upon arrival after 9:00 pm on a Tuesday, we asked to set in one of the booth but they said no because of their strict policy for the booth the used x 3 or more people. Meanwhile, all 4 booth were empty. The kind waitress then offered to move us to the bar booth if something opened up, we kindly agreed and simple went on with our night at different table. While on the table my friend picked up 3 small little flowers from the base and said happy birthday to me, and I put the little flowers on my hair, then I told the waitress I hope you don't mind, my friend gave this little flowers from the table it is my birthday, to which the waitress replied happy birthday, I have no problem with that!. Then comes the manager, and tells me sarcastically, that is a cute flower but it is not yours to take, you should have asked permission anyways, I told him with a smile, but is my birthday and it a tiny flower may I keep it? He stated no, because other costumers will come in and there are no flowers in the table. I told him to replace it with another from another table and he said No give it back now please. It is not yours to take!!! Me, already feeling unwelcome and missed treated, yet still stayed but couldn't even finish my pizza because of how upset I was. I told my friend I wanted to leave. After closing the tab, I walked upfront and waited for my friend. Upon walking outside, the managers comes after us screaming "hey give me back the flower" you took it, at this point I was still walking ahead on my friend and I can hear the manager yelling "she stole it" give it back now, she is a thief, you come here to steal is that it? I repeatedly, told him I didn't take it and even open my purse and told him to come search it, but he stormed back in while insulting and yelling to me IN PUBLIC! - I was deeply humiliated in front of absolute strangers. I didn't see my friend taking the flower either, and if he did, he never gave it to me otherwise, I would have throw it at his face. The luck of hospitality, professionalism, and simply compassion and dignity from this person is Absolutely Unacceptable. I was treated with far more respect and the Four Seasons (and they did give me flowers), than this ridiculous place. It is a shame that the owner would allow someone like this to be the front of the business. And I feel deeply sorry for their employees to have to endure this person as I saw on their eyes the embarrassment they felt. I deserve nothing else but an apology for the way I was treated. I too work in hospitality, I know what is like to provide costumer service providing healthcare and never in my wildest days would I ever treat anyone with such disrespect and unprofessionalism. I recommend this person to be replace or re train. Otherwise it will only affect the business.

They are the nicest people ever! So friendly and accommodating and always smiling. Their pride in their restaurant really shows in their care of the food and customers. I had the infamous meatball sandwich and my wife had the chicken carbonara. They gave us each a slice of their pizza for free as they had a bit extra from one that just came out of the oven. The food was prepared in front of you which is always interesting to watch and the charming brick pizza oven was directly in front of us so we could watch that process as well. Pretty cool. There are a wide variety of pizzas and pastas, desserts and drinks (alcohol too!) available on the menu. We ate at at the bar and had a wonderful conversation with the owners as they bustled about in the open cooking area. I enjoyed my meatball sandwich which had great crunchy crusty bread that held in the contents of melted cheese, red sauce and meatballs. A great choice to get when there. My wife liked her chicken carbonara and as the portion was pretty large, we were able to take some home for later. Extra yummy for me (ha ha)! The complimentary pizza slices were a hit for us as well. Napoli style with thin crust and flavorful toppings. We found out that Goli created the restaurant's design with the face of a woman that looks a lot like Venus in "The Birth of Venus" painting by Botticelli in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence Italy (just sayin'). Except that this logo has hair made of pasta! Good enough to eat! Give this place a try. You'll leave with a big smile on your faces!

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. They need to work on their timing. Need at least 10 minutes in between the beer and apps. The food overall is admittedly top notch. Fish and chips FRESH! The fish was juicy and the fried crust was perfection. Pieces were large. They will ask if you want 3 or 4. 3 is enough. Unfortunately, the experience is consistently dampened by one of weekend bartenders. As others have mentioned, it's that taller bartender (Alex?) who repeatedly comes across as arrogant and dismissive to us; a less than desirable character trait for a bartender. It's such a pity because that is the sole reason we now lead our groups to spend their money and patronize other establishments instead. Recently we did give Diller another try, but sadly it's the same story and thus this feedback. Hospitality makes a HUGE difference. Bartending isn't just about making a good drink and expecting tips. As someone who tended bar all over Seattle for 23 years, I know how much energy and attitude shape a guest's night. When the service feels cold and passive-aggressively rude, it's hard to feel good about the experience. It's disappointing, because this place has so much potential. Hopefully management considers bringing in weekend staff whose personalities reflect the warmth and atmosphere the space deserves, there are plenty of more qualified bartenders in Seattle that would gladly fill their spot.
