    Complimentary bread with butter
    Jennifer H.

Meteora is a 1 star Michelin restaurant, so the ambiance, service, and presentation were excellent! We made a reservation for a group dinner. Since my husband and I recently got married, our friends mentioned this in the reservation, and the restaurant created a menu that said congrats to us, so that was a nice, personal touch. They also lit this nut on fire which signaled long- lasting love or something like that lol We got the 6-course tasting menu for $195 each and we tried the additional avocado/sourdough bread for the $18 supplement. We were also given a complimentary appetizer of bread and butter and a complimentary melon dessert. This is what we tried for the tasting menu: 1. Sungold tomatoes with hemp seed tofu, nectarine, chatted scallion, chamomile - 5/5 stars. This was a group favorite! The tomatoes had a wonderful roasted taste, and all the flavors blended so well together! 2. Pacific black cod with roasted fiddlehead fern, grilled collard green, burnt onion - 4.5/5 stars. The cod was personally my fave dish of the night! I also enjoyed trying fern for the first time! But the other veggies were too salty 3. Heirloom corn with squash blossom, urfa chili fudge, sea buckthorn - 4/5 stars. Strong corn flavor and tasted like a tamale. Didn't blow my mind personally 4. 7-day dry aged white pekin duck with caramelized lettuce, pumpkin seed cream, and charred habanero jus - 3.5/5 stars. The duck was on the chewy side, but still pretty good, and the pumpkin seed cream/habanero jus added a strong flavor. The lettuce was way too salty 5. Tigernut custard with red mango, allspice, and apricot- 3/5 stars. I personally didn't enjoy this. Too sour for my liking 6. Hearth-roasted pineapple with tonka bean, Brazil nuts, burnt wheat - 5/5. Cool presentation and loved the flavors. The texture of the bottom was like the crust of a pie Other notes: the avocado/sourdough appetizer was meh. The sourdough was too doughy and fried, and the avocado had nice flavors, but not worth $18 extra. Overall, enjoyed our experience here!

Came here to celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday as she had been wanting to come for a while. Upon walking in to the restaurant we all smelled something a little strange. Not good. So not sure if that's the norm. Our reservation was at 7:15, however, they told us our table wasn't ready. So we had to wait about 20 minutes. Like I said, the atmosphere was beautiful, but the food was just OK and incredibly overpriced for what you're getting it it's a good place to try out if you haven't, but it's not a place. I would return to anytime soon.

Agree with others regarding the atmosphere, very *Tulum* vibes. I loved sitting at our table as the seats were comfortable, the table was roomy without seeming overly big, and overall the setting was aesthetically pleasing. The entire restaurant was otherworldly and each table felt like your own cozy space in the vast jungle. Their dedication to the theme was impressive and extended to less-utilized spaces including the bathrooms and hallways. Food was interesting, innovative, and most importantly, tasty! Despite some of the dishes being "deconstructed" in nature and "not much to look at" lol, all were well-balanced and enjoyable. There was an element of surprise in many of the dishes, which I always appreciate. These special touches make this restaurant truly deserving of their Michelin star (in my opinion...and I cannot say the same for several of LA's starred restaurants...). Although the wine list was extensive, as expected, I liked having a variety of creative non-alcoholic drinks as well. Service was warm and attentive. This was overall a high-effort restaurant in many respects, and their efforts paid off. Will definitely be back!

I had an amazing anniversary dinner at Meteora, a Michelin-starred restaurant. I didn't do much research beforehand, wanting it to be a surprise. The food was incredible, with 4 or 6 courses, including options to supplement. The ambiance, food presentation, ingredients, and service were all top-notch. Parking was easy, with street parking (read the signs) or valet service available behind the restaurant. I highly recommend Meteora to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

We visited Meteora for my birthday and had an 8pm reservation. There's valet parking behind the restaurant and the entrance honestly looks like a giant bird's nest. The moment you walk in the restaurant is stunning. The ambiance is dark, elegant, and unlike anything else I've seen in LA. Even the bathrooms were beautifully designed. We opted for the 6-course tasting menu. The meal started with complimentary sourdough, butter, and honey. When the bread was first dropped off, our server noticed the honey was missing and brought it out right away. I appreciated that they caught the mistake immediately, but at a Michelin-starred restaurant I expect every plate to leave the kitchen exactly as intended. The sourdough was crispy all the way through which made it feel a little dry. I wish there was more contrast between the crust and the inside. The butter was smooth and almost cheese-like, and the honey paired nicely with it. The scallop course was beautifully presented. The scallop itself was super fresh and packed with umami while the nectarine added a nice balance. The shaved "seawater" served alongside it honestly just tasted like salt. The black cod had perfectly crispy skin and the greens paired really well with it. My issue was that the sauce was pretty salty while the fish itself felt under-seasoned so the dish ended up relying on the sauce for flavor. The heirloom corn had a great corn flavor but once again the component underneath the squash blossom was salty. The sweet puree helped balance it out but not enough. For the main course, we chose the dry-aged duck. The cook on the duck was beautiful with a perfect pink center but I wish the skin was crispier. The charred lettuce helped cut through the richness and the green peppercorn added a nice kick. Unfortunately, the sauce was also on the salty side. The tigernut custard had a nice warmth from the cinnamon. For my birthday they brought out burning stones which was a cool presentation, but I was honestly hoping for something a little more special. The final dessert was a tableside-cut roasted pineapple. It was sweet, but nothing particularly memorable. The meal ended with melon seasoned with salt and pepper which also felt pretty underwhelming. Personally, I thought 2 dessert courses felt a bit excessive especially since neither was particularly memorable. I would've preferred another savory course instead. By the end of the meal, our server asked what our favorite dish was and we actually pondered about it for a minute. For a tasting menu at this price point, I usually expect at least one course that immediately stands out or leaves a lasting impression. While there were dishes I enjoyed, none of them really had that wow factor for me. The service was good but not exceptional. After the bread course, we asked for additional towels to clean our hands but the request was forgotten. I had really high expectations for Meteora and left feeling disappointed. The restaurant is visually stunning and I can definitely see the vision behind the menu. Unfortunately, the execution didn't match the creativity. Too many dishes leaned salty and several courses felt unbalanced. Overall, it was a beautiful experience, but for the price I expected a lot more finesse and flavor.

While the food, drinks and ambiance were very good (the design of the restaurant is stunning), the service was not; certainly nowhere near what should be expected of a restaurant at this level. It was poor enough to detract quite significantly from what would have been a wonderful evening. From the beginning, everything felt rushed. A cocktail menu was not offered until requested. We were asked if we were ready to order several times over the course of ten minutes. When we did order, the first course arrived a few minutes later--before both the cocktails we ordered and the wine pairing for it. (The server realized his mistake and comped the cocktails). Unfortunately, the service flaws continued. A dish was presented to us as "Pacific black cod, caught off the coast of Massachusetts." When we inquired for further details on multiple dishes, answers were not known. Wine pairing pours were very small--one to two ounces at best. At the conclusion of the meal, after dinner drinks or coffee were not offered and a payment terminal was shoved in our faces along with "does everything look correct?" from a server. I understand presenting a payment terminal is the new normal at a lot of restaurants, but it was presented to both of us in a forceful manner with no tact. Hopefully the service improves, because the rest of the experience is wonderful. Unless it does improve though, I cannot recommend dining here and am baffled as to how they received a star.

Most of the dishes were amazingly flavored, all were very unique. My favorites from this summer were the roasted pineapple dessert, followed by the peking duck main. I had a personal indifference to the first couple courses, so I'm giving 4/5. The restaurant is beautiful, the service is fast, but once the servers realized I was a table for 1 ordering 0 of the expensive pairing drinks, I noticed significantly less interest and follow up throughout the night. Still, the set menu was enjoyable at a relatively reasonable price for a michelin star restaurant. I'm glad I went, but probably won't be back soon. Thanks!

Super fresh and avant-garde. The atmosphere is incredibly unique and visually striking. 10/10 for the experience. Visuals were stunning but the flavors didn't quite live up to the hype. Smoked Oysters: Absolute highlight. Deep, smoky and delicious. Duck Breast: A bit disappointing. The cook was slightly off. A visually captivating experience but the taste was a bit hit-or-miss for the price. Great for the "avant-garde" vibe but lacked that extra punch in flavor.

Meteora was an amazing experience. Walking into the restaurant was like being transported to another place. We completely forgot that we were in the middle of bustling Los Angeles. The interior was calm and peaceful and beautifully decorated. Service was friendly and what you would expect from a Michelin caliber restaurant. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. They also had a very cool non-alcoholic drink pairing, which you don't always find. We loved every second of it and will definitely be back again. Celebrated my birthday at Meteora, and it was definitely a memorable experience. We made a reservation and were seated right away in the main dining room. The vibe and décor are very unique and immersive, which made the whole evening feel special. For the course meal, we had the Crudo of Mt. Lassen Steelhead, Pacific Black Cod, Embered Murasaki Yam, 14-Day Dry-Aged White Pekin Duck, and Hearth Roasted Pineapple. We also added the Black Winter Truffle "Risotto." I opted for the wine pairing with my meal. We started with bread and butter served with maple banana syrup, which was really good. Both the presentation and taste of each dish were exceptional. Everything was cooked perfectly, and all the sauces that accompanied the dishes were heavenly. Service was impeccable and the pacing of the meal was great. The dishes came out fairly quickly, with the only bit of a wait being for dessert. They also brought out a complimentary birthday dessert, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. I would highly recommend this place for any celebration.

Let's start with this place was so special from the entrance to the dining. When you walk up it's like a hidden Oasis - a very large door and excellent service. I saw the restaurant online but what got my attention was the REAL Plants all over - which brought Freshness.. get aesthetics throughout. Immediately to the right is the bar where I ordered Buddha Martinis it was the best! The bar tender broke down the ingredients as you take a sip of the speciality drink.. I got three!! Next up was the 6 course tasting menu.. everything was prepared to greatness. All I can do is recommend trying yourself but book in advance. The server was a very kind woman - shot out to (Sahara) Everytime I needed her to be present she was without hesitation , definitely showing her mastery skills of the waitress business by memorizing the entire menu all while giving suggestions. I will return 10/10

This was an experience! I had reservations at 9pm on a Saturday. Valet was $16, but you can do street parking. Parking wasn't too hard to find when I went. The front door is shaped like a giant nest. The inside was magical. Bathrooms are clean and co-ed. Sinks are outside the stalls. The stalls are hot. They have candles in there which make it really warm. It's also dark. The menu is a 5-course meal, but the chef gave us a few complimentary dishes which made the experience special. My favorite item that night was the black cod. My least favorite was the scallops, but that's only because I don't really eat raw fish. If I was someone else, I think I would like it. The people I had dinner with all had different favorites, and overall, the food was wonderful. It wasn't too small and we left satisfied. Service was okay. It felt a little snooty...not a lot of smiles, and they seemed like they were only there to do their job. Not sure how the work environment is there, but it kind of shows. Also, they change your utensils after each course, which I thought was a little wasteful, but I guess it's all part of the experience. Overall, I rated Meteora a 4. The food was good, vibes were wonderful, service could use a little more hospitality training, but it wasn't terrible. Maybe I just went on an off night.

Appetizer on the house ~ changes constantly

Was able to try out this 1 star Michelin restaurant Meteora tonight and the first view was a gigantic bird nest looking door entrance. The moment you walked in, you see a standing and seating lounge like area while waiting for your seat to be ready~ The overall dining area feels modern meets jungle vibe, very unique! And all the staff greets you with a big smile :) Opted in on the 4 course meal with 1 add-on. I choose the kiwi yuzu mocktail & it was nice, refreshing, and with just enough tanginess to stimulate your appetite :P Before the appetizer was an on the house pre-appetizer. House baked bread with a liver mousse patte like texture spread with charcoal powder on top and banana syrup in the middle. Very delicious! First appetizer is the honey grilled scallop with Taiwan mustard green, caramelized plantain, drizzled with burnt onion soup. A nice balance between sweet and savory~ Second appetizer is the Japanese yam with smoked salmon roe and papaya. Interesting combo of the subtle smokiness and saltiness from the roe in conjunction to the sweetness of the papaya and yam. Small suggestion might be the heaviness of the cream being slightly overpowering the natural sweetness of the Yam if eaten together. Add-on dish is grilled avocado with caviar paired with house baked sourdough. What surprises me is how the avocado still keeps its shape and not being mushy while being so silky soft once you bite into it. The added larger pieces of salt on it with the caviar creates this nice balance of complex flavor that perfectly pairs with the soft sponginess of the freshly baked sourdough. My favorite dish tonight! Entree is a play on traditional Pekin Duck dish mixed with a modern Californian cuisine twist. They even shaved some special salt in coconut?over the duck before you eat it. The presentation was fun and interactive~ The moment you bite into the duck, the skin side takes you to a Chinese restaurant vibe of how crispy the skin is. Next bite of the meat portion drizzled with burnt maple syrup paired with carrot and leek transform you into back into this fine dining environment! Very interesting :P Dessert comes with a cold mousse ring with a thinly baked cookie over it. Server then cut a piece of roasted pineapple and topped it on the dessert and drizzle some olive oil into the middle~ the warm temperature of the pineapple mixed with the cold mousse is quite interesting. Overall, the experience is fun and delicious~ hope this review helps :)

Did anyone get their $150 credit through the Chase sapphire card?

Yes I got the Chase Sapphire Reserve dining credit with Meteora.

Corkage? Do they allow us to bring our own wine bottle?

    Yes

Whats difference between the indoor dining and outdoor dining areas? Which one is preferred?

Outdoor dinning isn't necessarily outside outside, it's more of an openaire space with a huge tree at the center of the patio. It really gives a great ambiance and atmosphere while dinning. Both indoor and outdoor are dim light setting so if dinning…

Is there valet parking? (I assume so, but want to be sure!)

Yes there is but it's in the alley way behind the restaurant. It was $15.

With the switch to tasting menu only, are vegetarian options available?

    Yes

    How was their tasting menu?

It was exceptional, and very reasonably priced at $95 per person. I also recommend the wine pairing, available for $70 per person. It is available on Friday and Saturday only.

How can I make a reservation for a party of 9? Options is not available on open table and can't get a hold of anyone via phone~

Concrete tables can't me moved. Largest table seats 6. So you'd have to book two tables for 9 people. Just ask them to seat your parties next to each other.

    Are kids allowed?

It's a normal restaurant, so no restrictions on kids. But the food may not suit all kids and there is no kids menu. So just keep that in mind. If your kids are open to trying unfamiliar flavors, they may enjoy it there.…

Are there any gluten free options?

Well. Yeah. Still, may be you'd be better off at Kitchen Mouse?

Is there a menu and prices? The website has nothing

check out fotos in MENU section

Is this a tasting menu-only restaurant? And assuming it is, how much is it per person? Thank you!

No. All a la carte menu.

The buns were definitely one of my favorite parts of the meal. All three dips were delicious, and each one gave the bread a completely different flavor. The steak and eggs crispy rice was packed with flavor. The crispy rice added a really nice texture and made the dish more interesting than a typical steak and eggs. The steak could have used a bit more salt. The Branzino was another solid choice. It was flavorful. Such well balanced flavors . If you're looking for something lighter than the steak and eggs but still substantial, this is a good option. The customer service was excellent. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made the experience feel welcoming without being overbearing.

The service here is excellent and everything ran smoothly with zero issues. The bread and butter here is excellent while waiting for your meal. I had the beef stroganoff, which is a comfort dish for me. It's hearty and delicious so I couldn't wait to try this dish. I was certainly surprised because I was not expecting it to be incredibly flavorful. It was so good I couldn't stop eating it. Highly recommended! We ended our meal with the devil's advocate flourless chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream, which was delicious for being flourless. What a perfect way to end a tasty meal. My only complaint is the parking because we didn't know where we could park. We ended up getting a ticket because we thought we could park nearby. Definitely recommend asking where to park to avoid a ticket. Overall, we very much enjoyed our dining experience and will certainly be back to try other menu items.

Overall, I'd give 3.5 stars. Granville is a chain restaurant, similar to the likes of Olive garden,…read moreChilies, etc, but probably a tad more upscale in terms of the overall decor and vibe. Service was fine, but nothing special. We were greeted, seated and the waitress took our orders. Once the food arrived, our waitress barely came by again except towards the end to drop off our check. Other staff did come by to clear our empty plates from the table, so that was nice. We did notice that they only provided 1 serving spoon for all of our dishes. Would've liked a serving utensil with each dish to minimize cross-contamination and mixing of flavors. Throughout our dining, there were flies and small bugs flying around, which was off-putting and annoying as we had to keep swatting them away from landing on our food. 1. Farmhouse Beet Salad (5/5) It's a good thing this was the 1st dish to arrive at our table as it left a good 1st impression. The roasted organic beets were fresh and had that earthy-tone to it. Dressed with their lemon-oregano vinaigrette, feta, arugula, and candied pecans. OMG, those candied pecans were heavenly. It's crunchy and toasted to perfection. the candied flavor of it was addictingly delicious. If they have a menu item of candied pecans, I'll order it any day. 2. Trio Taco (2.5/5) You can choose between chicken, steak, shrimp, plant-based chicken, or jackfruit. We opted for steak. The steak was fine, but for BBQ sauce used was just a dish killer. They need to rethink the choice of sauce used in these tacos. Also, not a fan of corn tortilla. Wish they gave a choice between corn and flour tortilla. 3. Artisan Bread & Butter (5/5) Their sourdough bread sliced, grilled and brushed generously with garlic olive oil. Severed with a side of whipped duckfat butter. I've never had duck fat butter before, so this was a pleasant experience to try. Not to worry, there's no duck flavor at all. It's almost like cream cheese but lighter and airer. 4. Ahi Filet (1.5/5) Sesame-crusted ahi with a side wasabi aioli. The ahi was so-so; definitely, not the freshest and there's no "melt-in-your mouth" joy. The wasabi aioli sauce was good though. There is a subtle spice kick from the wasabi. It's served with a side of soba noodles that was gingery and peanuty in flavor. Unfortunately, the noodles were overcooked as they stuck to each other in clumps. 5. Bacon & Blue Burger (4.5/5) Quite a satisfying burger consisting of wagyu beef, duroc bacon, aged blue cheese, caramelized onions, and arugula. It's juicy, meaty, slightly tangy from the horseradish aioli and sweet from the port wine reduction. The brioche bun was pleasantly soft. 6. Thai Ginger Salad (3/5) This salad consists of romaine lettuce as the base. It is dressed with Thai sesame dressing, which was underwhelming. The toppings for this salad include fresh mango cubes, slaw, slices of avocado, fresh peanut bits, tomato and soba noodles. It's not a bad salad, but for the price, I do not think it is worth it. 7. Superfood Longevity Salad (4/5) A salad consisting of mixed greens (lacinato kale and spring mix) with a variety of rich, nutritious toppings (organic beets, quinoa, pomegranate, radish, blueberries, almonds, dried Bing cherries, and pepitas). The dressing is a sherry vinaigrette that's tangy, creamy and light. All the ingredients came together well. If you are looking for a hearty salad, this is for you. 8. Hibiscus Rosé (4/5) Sparkling rosé with hibiscus flavor infused with grapefruit skin to give it a bit of citrus note and topped off with a micro flower to add a special touch of decor to the drink. In summary, the food looks better than it actually tastes. Come here if you want to eat out with a large party for celebration, but otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it for a special night out as the price does not justify the experience.

After looking around the museum and enjoying the artwork, I went to Manuela, the restaurant inside the museum, on October 3, 2021, and again on October 9, 2021. One time, I went with just one close friend, and the other time, I went with a group of seven friends. On October 3, we made a reservation in advance and had brunch there. On October 9, we all went to the museum together, but since we hadn't made a reservation, we weren't able to eat there that day. I remember the atmosphere being really nice, and I remember that everything we ordered was delicious. All of the staff were also very friendly, and I remember the prices being quite reasonable. My friend and I, of course, split the bill evenly. Since it was five years ago, I obviously don't remember the exact prices in detail, but I do remember feeling that the food was reasonably priced. The only downside was the valet parking, which I remember being around $20. Other than the parking fee, I really liked the place overall and had a very good experience there.

There's a parking lot directly across the street from the restaurant but you can also park around the corner by Arts District Park for $5. If it's your first time visiting Sampa, you have to be open minded towards the concept itself. Yes, the dishes here are smaller in portion and costs more than your typical fast casual spot. All the servers here are attentive and offer to help with what to order if you're unsure. For dinner, the Crispy Pasta is their take on crispy pata but served with spinach tagliatelle. The crab fat fried rice is a no brainer and depending on the night you come, I highly recommend the Sinigang xiaolongbao special. It's where they grill certain items, lobster, ribeye, skirt steak, the intestinal part of a chicken (?). So, not tacos but grilled meats so we stayed. twist. First of all, it's a lovely space. In a not very obvious area of DTLA, next to Urth Cafe but no other restaurants. We didn't have reservations so we had the option of sitting at the bar or following the waitress to a back room area instead of the front room that is visible to everyone. My son is a minor, so to the back we went! Seriously, the closer we got to the back room the more I felt I had been cast in "The Chef." Scary! Lol! The back room is black. Blackout black! Black tablecloths, walls, chairs, dark, low light. Very luxurious and open space. Which - because it wasn't full at the time - felt a bit like being in the film, The Menu." A bit too upscale and empty to feel comfortable. More guests arrived later, a large table, so that was more comforting. The food: Recommended *Kara Kara Tamales: braised oxtail with a peanut butter sauce. Wow! The taste was wonderful! Hard to explain but Filipino/African food meets Latin food. It was on the "shared plate" menu, which to me means it will be a lot. But the 2 tamales were not very big. Still, they were so rich that the 2 really were sufficient to share. Quite filling. I couldn't get enough of the sauce! *Crab fried rice: Very tasty and generous portion. Plenty share! Not recommended: The street eats menu. Now, this is what pulled us in - the sights and smells of the food being grilled outside the restaurant. Most of which was on this meme. Like a tasting menu. But for price to portion ratio, it simply isn't worth it. I ordered the skirt steak. 4 oz, cut in half. Cooked down to what looked like .5 oz! Each on a toothpick sitting in a paper plate (or maybe it was cupcake holder?) IDK. I just know it wasn't a good presentation and the taste wasn't memorable. Regular. More grill smell than taste. Not at all worth $8. Service: Really nice. And mostly good. Though they did fail short by (1) Using only small appetizer size plates and (2) Not bringing a fresh plate to eat the crab fried rice on after the peanut butter sauce laced tamale appetizer was eaten. The server brought the fried rice, but didn't bother to give us fresh plates (nor silverware). My son was mortified when I grabbed a plate from one of the empty tables! (Teenager energy on full effect). But after initial attentive service, the variety of different servers whizzing by didn't stop to ask if we needed anything. And I sat waiting at least 8 minutes staring at the rice. I assured my young man that the servers would be fine with me getting another plate to save them from having to. And once I did, he suddenly started eating from my plate of my peanut butter free fried rice. And of course, when a server did attend to us and I let her know, she was glad I took matters into my own hands instead of not eating for 15 minutes. Thoughts: Go for dinner, and order from the full dinner menu, skip the skimpy street eats menu. With reservations you can sit in the main restaurant area that has some view to the outdoors. Without it - back to the black room you go! Know that it will be expensive. And it will be original. Not sure I'll go back. It's very "special occasion" upscale dining. But If I do it'll be with reservations. The meal was memorable and worth experiencing.

Bone marrow flavor was a little subtle though, and our server ended up mixing the marrow into the gnocchi before we could snap a pic, which was a bummer lol. Mussels & Clams ($34)- Sourdough bread had so much flavor and a really solid texture, not rock hard like some places. Mussels and clams were plump and fresh, dish wasn't too salty, herbs complimented everything so well, and the wine reduction was perfect. Chorizo Panna ($34)- The basil really stood out and worked so well with the meat. Spicy/sweet/savory balance was immaculate, honey was a great touch, pizza was thin and not oily at all, dough tasted super fresh. Oxtail Ravioli ($32)- So cute, you could tell it was carefully plated. Each ravioli came with a smoked onion + pine nut puree that was SO good. The sweetness paired perfectly with the beef, delicate but so much depth. Squid Ink Spaghetti ($44)- Probably the best presentation of the night! The bright orange lobster against the dark squid ink pasta was gorgeous. Lobster wasn't overcooked, still nice and chewy. Sauce wasn't overpowering and a little lemon sourness cut through the seafood-iness perfectly. Noodles were bouncy, definitely handmade. Herbs tied it all together. Cavatelli alla Norcina ($52)- Presentation was impressive, truffle slices looked beautiful and smelled so strong I started salivating immediately lol. Creamy but not overpowering, meat was fragrant, truffle flavor elevated the whole dish. Handmade cavatelli too. Grilled Branzino ($54)- Presentation was spectacular, fish was deboned so zero worries there. Skin was crispy, flavors were strong and pungent in the best way, pine nuts were a great addition, meat was juicy and meaty without being too salty. Loved all the different textures. Other notes: Valet parking is $13, atmosphere is really nice - industrial/rustic vibe with an open concept kitchen. Servers were super attentive, gave great suggestions, and cleared/reset our table with new utensils halfway during our meal. Portions run smaller but our waiter gave us a heads up beforehand, which honestly ended up being nice since we could try everything without getting too full or sick of one dish. Heads up: no free birthday dessert or ice cream here! If I could give more than 5 stars I would, every single dish was delicious, no notes

The server (on my receipt the name is Austin) ALSO forgot to do the birthday candle for my husband (which i asked for and saw all the tables around us getting celebration candles - I know it's such a small detail to complain about but if everyone else didn't have an issue, why did we?) - hence my low star rating. She also kept us waiting around forever for our check that I had to flag down one of the hostesses because we waited another 15 minutes with our card out. The service was so bad and distracting so unfortunately it took away from my experience. Positives: street parking is super easy, do NOT pay for the $14 valet.
