    Ricotta & Egg Raviolo
    Kaylyn R.

Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend coming here for birthdays or anniversaries. I've never had pasta this delicious before. We ordered the Ricotta & Egg Raviolo and the Bauletti. The raviolo was divine, perfect amount of cheese and not too heavy. The Bauletti was also so delicious, it was lemony and so good. I really wanted to just keep ordering these dishes! Then we got the lamp chops and the beef tagliata. The lamb chops were so yummy and the seasoning and tomatoes was really good. The beef tagliata was tender and juicy. We finished off with tiramisu. I liked the cream at the top but I was whatever about the cake itself. It was like a sponge cake but it tasted a bit too wet and mushy. The cream at the top was delicious though. Not too sweet. Service was good and professional. Our waiter helped recommend some cocktails and explained our pastas before we ordered. Highly recommend. I want to go back already!

Osteria Mozza is one of the long established Italian restaurants in Los Angeles. The restaurant is owned by James Beard Award-winning Chef Nancy Silverton and Joe Bastianich from MasterChef. Osteria Mozza received one Michelin star in 2008 and maintained its Michelin star in 2025 and is currently ranked #71 on the LA Times 101 Best Restaurants in 2025. In addition to this flagship location, another location was opened in Washington, DC in November 2024. Two sister restaurants, Pizzeria Mozza and Chi Spacca, are located adjacent to Osteria Mozza. [Reservation]: I was able to book a table via OpenTable. There's a 15 minute grace period on the reservation time. A table is reserved up to 1.75 hour for parties up to 2. A credit card is needed to secure a reservation via OpenTable. No-shows or cancellations less than 24 hours in advance will be subject to a charge of $40 per person. [Parking]: Valet parking is $16 for lunch and $17 for dinner. Street parking can be tricky due to restricted parking signs, but I was able to find free street parking on Waring Ave between N Citrus Ave and N Highland Ave. [Atmosphere]: Our party actually missed the entrance door as the door only had directional arrows for Pizzeria Mozza and Chi Spacca. The staff let us choose between bar seats or a table and our party ultimately chose the bar seats. The dinner lasted from 5:45 PM to 7:45 PM. [Menu]: Some of top highlighted dishes are Grilled Octopus, Tagliatelle, Ricotta & Egg Raviolo, Orecchiette (also recommended by the Michelin Guide), Rosemary Olive Oil Cakes (also recommended by the Michelin Guide), and Grilled 8 Oz. Beef Tagliata. The menu is separated into 6 categories - Mozzarella Bar, Antipasti, Primi, Secondi, Contorni, and Dolci. All dishes are considered sharable. *** [Mozzarella Bar] Burrata & Bacon (marinated escarole & caramelized shallots - $25): A complex flavor profile with the escarole enhancing the overall flavor. The chewiness of the bacon enhanced to the overall texture and the oozing cheese was great. [Antipasti] Grilled Octopus (potato, celery, green onion & lemon - $34): An interesting texture as the octopus had meaty and mushy flavors. The celery also cut through the overall flavor profile. [Primi] Ricotta & Egg Raviolo (with browned butter $27): This is one of their signature dishes that many influencers recommend. It was a very cheesy dish and I thought it was alright. [Primi] Orecchiette (fennel sausage & Swiss chard - $36): This dish had a nice chewy texture with an added crunch from almonds. I could definitely taste the strong sausage flavor and I like it. [Primi] Tagliatelle (oxtail ragu - $34): Tasted on the lighter side - a lovely dish with a very balanced flavor profile. [Secondi] Grilled 8 oz. Beef Tagliata (rucola, Parmigiano Reggiano & aceto balsamico - medium rare, $56): S-tier steak - super tender, flavorful, and juicy. The arugula and cheese added a nice balance to the flavor profile. [Dolci] Rosemary Olive Oil Cakes (Monini olive oil gelato & rosemary brittle - $22): S-tier dessert with an amazing olive oil ice cream. The cake was fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. *** Our party was completely full and ended up boxing Tagliatelle (oxtail ragu). In hindsight, our party of two probably should have ordered two items from the Primi section instead of three items and kept everything else the same. With that being said, our party had a great experience at Osteria Mozza and the food lived up to our expectations.

Delicious!!! Both pastas were amazing - orecchiette is a must order! Butternut squash ravioli was a delicious sweet pasta! It's definitely a seasonal option. Service is so so so spot on!! They refill the waters quickly and check in the perfect amount of times. Such a good atmosphere for a date or dinner with friends!! Perfect to dress up and have a great time!

Dining at Osteria Mozza was an incredible experience, especially for our group since the kitchen was very accommodating in preparing vegetarian versions of the dishes for our entire table. We ordered à la carte across the menu so we could try a little bit of everything. For antipasti, the Burratina Pugliese was easily one of the highlights of the night -- silky, fresh burrata paired with peppers and olive oil that brought out the creaminess perfectly. The Burricotta with spiced walnuts, radicchio, honey, and fried rosemary was another standout. It had a beautiful balance of sweetness, bitterness, and crunch that made it incredibly memorable. The primi course completely stole the show. Every pasta we tried was excellent, but the Tagliolini "Da Francescana" with 36-month white cow Parmigiano was the clear favorite -- simple, rich, and deeply flavorful in a way that shows how powerful great ingredients can be. The Butternut Squash Tortelloni and Orecchiette Pomodoro were also fantastic. By this point, we were already getting quite full because the pasta course was just that good. For secondi, we were honestly struggling to keep up because the primi had already filled us up, but the dishes themselves were still very well executed. The Roasted Baby Carrots were amazing -- beautifully cooked with spiced seeds and carrot leaf pesto that elevated the dish. The Cipollini Onions were surprisingly memorable: incredibly soft, tender, and flavorful with none of the sharpness you normally associate with onions. Dessert was the perfect finish. The Bombolini with huckleberry compote and lemon curd were light and indulgent at the same time, and the Tiramisu with hazelnuts, espresso, and mascarpone was rich, balanced, and truly chef's kiss. Overall, an exceptional meal. The burratina and the pastas (especially the tagliolini) were the stars, and the kitchen's willingness to accommodate vegetarian requests made the experience even better for our group. I would absolutely return just for those dishes.

Wow. This was probably one of my favorite meals I've had in a while!!! Alyssa was our server and she is a pure comedian, I liked her. So personable, so funny, and just on it the entire night. We had reservations and when we got to the host we decided to sit at the countertop by the dairy/cheese/bread prep area (highly recommend if you can). Watching everything come together made it even more fun. The amount of cedar salads that were made... wow! Okay... FOOD. We started with the burnt mozzarella (added extra garlic toast because obviously) and the grilled octopus. The burnt mozzarella with prosciutto + that crispy, garlicky bread?? Elite. No notes. Octopus (good but not memorable) Then we had this ravioli that was one giant square... and when I tell you we took the leftover bread and dipped it into the sauce that came out of it... unreal. So simple, very satisfying. For mains, we ordered the steak (I think it's the only one on the menu). The steak itself was good, but the arugula was a little too bitter for my liking. The sauce was a balsamic vinegar type? It was whatever but the texture of the meat was reallyyy good. HOWEVER. The duck?? Friggin amazing. So soft, buttery, perfectly cooked and it came with this sweet apricot jam that made it so memorable. You need to order it. We also ordered this pasta w burnt crumbs on top IT WAS SO GOOD Orechietta? so good 9/10 We also went all in on dessert and got three scoops of ice cream: chocolate, salted caramel, and vanilla. Plus the olive oil cake which was so interesting in the best way. Drinks were just as good. We had a white wine that is similar to a Sancerre= super crisp and delicious and a cucumber gin gimlet that was dangerously refreshing. Highly recommend dining in and just going all out. Make it a whole experience. It was such a lovely night. And thank you again to Alyssa for your amazing table service! Love the aesthetics of the place and it was so packed! On a Wednesday night I was so surprised!

We were asked to wait for a few minutes when we arrived but it was no big deal! The food and service was amazing! We would definitely go back 10/10!

The tiramisu is more of a coffee cake than a tiramisu, but it is an incredible coffee cake! I'd honestly recommend just sitting at the bar and getting this cake because it's such a balanced cake in terms of not being too sweet and taking a bite with the coffee soaked into the cake and the salty hazelnut is just perfect. Not a huge mozzarella fan to begin with, but I did really enjoy both mozzarella dishes we got. The Mozzarella di Bufala Condimenti was probably the best of the two since I really liked the pesto and salsa (the olive and caper dips were too strong for me). The Burricotta & Artichoke was good, but I think I liked the artichoke and the artichoke filling more than the actual mozzarella used. The fett'una bread was so good, but why was it burnt... would've been a 10/10 bread if it wasn't legit charred on an entire side. The Orecchiette sausage pasta was good and I've never had this pasta shape before, but really did like it! The lamb chops were also solid, but not worth getting in my opinion.

I have been wanting to try Osteria Mozza for a long time because of all the great things I have heard, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We did not have a reservation but were able to get seats at the bar, which turned out to be a great experience. The bartender was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the menu in detail and gave excellent recommendations, which made ordering easy and enjoyable. For our entrées, we ordered the braised short rib and the tagliatelle, and both were so delicious. I also had fresh white truffle shaved onto my pasta, which took the dish to another level. Everything was rich, comforting, and perfectly executed. One thing to note is that the restaurant is on the smaller side, and seating is fairly close together, but it did not take away from the experience. If anything, it adds to the lively, bustling atmosphere of the space. Great food, great service, and a classic Hollywood dining experience. I would definitely come back.

My overall experience here was great, but understood why it's a 1 star Michelin. General vibe of the restaurant can be split in two ways: live and vibrant dining or quiet and cozy. The main hall is where the activities are with the kitchen and bar so it tends to be quite loud inside. We wanted to go somewhere quieter so we asked to go somewhere other than the main hall, a bit deep inside the restaurant that is smaller in dining space but much more intimate and quieter in conversations. Our servers and even the servers I passed by have been all great. We ordered 5 dishes, including dessert. The Caesar salad is deconstructed but I enjoyed combining all the elements in one bite and we loved the dressing. That salad was almost perfect, just wished we had a little more of the romaine lettuce because the salad was so good. The bread that comes with the eggs was perfection. We did also order some side bread to eat with our pasta later on and the bread was also delicious. I wish I can just togo the bread on the side. For the pastas, I had the ravioli and my husband had the tagliatelle. At first, the proportions seemed small for mine. Both pasta dishes were excellent, love the fresh pasta. Because my ravioli tends to be creamy, if I had more of what was given to me, I think I would've thought that it was starting to get greasy and had enough of it. So I think the chef put that in consideration to give just enough amount so you enjoy that dish fully. The oxtail was soft and went well with the tagliatelle, my husband enjoyed it. By the time we finished our meals we were actually pretty full, it was just the right amount for us (maybe a little less if you are a big eater). We were curious about the dessert so we ordered the gelato/sorbet. You get 3 flavor choices, but we ended up getting only 2. We ordered the passion fruit mango (loved this so much), banana, and cookies and cream (this was missing in our cup). We didn't really want to ask to bring our missing gelato because it was getting late and just wanted to drive back home soon. It's a nice place to go to treat yourself or your loved ones.

I've eaten here twice; and I thought I'd write a review since I visited semi-recently. Thank you Yelpers for guiding me on what to order this most recent time. I really enjoyed the Egg Yolk Ravioli, octopus (so soft and tender!!!!), burrata sampler (ugh! I was in cheese heaven!), orecchiette with fennel (sooo good- texture was amazing), tagliatelle with oxtail (meh, it was good but you can skip this because it didn't stand out- oxtail felt soggy). For dessert, we requested a dessert from their sister restaurant - a chocolate budino- and OMG, that was amazing too. Ambiance was great - not too packed on a week night. Parking is kinda annoying. And that particular day, there wasn't an option for valet. Service was very attentive. I was so thankful that they were able to meet my requests for the special dessert! Food came out reasonably quick. I do think some of their tables are too close together though - which could mess with the vibe. Overall, nice experience. I recommend having a reservation because the place did fill up, even for a week day.

Osteria Mozza is good date night spot to dine at. It is dimly lit and has a traditional feel to it. The Mozzarella Bar has the best seats in the house. There you can watch the chefs/cooks do their magic. The staff is very attentive. They must of switched out 4 sets of silverware as we ate. We ordered the Nancy Caesar, Cantabrian Anchovies,Grilled Octopus, Oxtail Tagliatelle, Egg Raviolo, Crispy Duck Confit. Nothing really stood out besides the Cantabrian Anchovies and the Nancy Caesar. These dishes were refreshing and the ingredients worked well together. On the other hand, the Grilled Octopus could have been grilled a little longer. The Oxtail Tagliatelle tasted like spaghetti with regular beef. The Egg Raviolo had an excellent presentation but I had better Egg Raviolo at a different restaurant. The duck was pretty crispy but you could get better duck at a high end Chinese restaurant. Overall the atmosphere is cool but the food is mediocre. Considering they have a Michelin Star, their food could have been better.

We ordered a lot and everything was pretty heavy. It was easy to get full fast. Ambiance is classy and dimly lit. Everything was flavorful and the wine was good.

Went here for a nice night out with some friends and had an absolutely lovely dinner! Our server was very nice and professional and service overall was excellent throughout the night. We didn't know much about wine (just said we are wanting a smooth white wine) and said as such to our server who brought over the sommelier who let us try something he thought we'd like and it was a great choice. Then we got a bunch of plates to share for appetizers & entrees. The octopus was a real highligh, cooked wonderfully and had a nice char. How a place's octopus is, really is the barometer for me so if it's good and not rubbery, everything else will usually be great. Then got the mozzarella flight which came with some of the best bread I've ever had. Perfectly fluffy with a light crisp edge. Lastly got the little gem lettuce to round it out. Thought it was solid, but nothing life changing. Don't think I'd order it again given the price. For entrees we each got pastas and then split some meat. Everything we got was great. I personally got the rabbit tagliatelle, and my friends got oxtail ragu. And then for meat we got the duck confit and the branzino. Again both excellent. Overall great experience here and absolutely worth the hype to me. Would love to go back!

In the same vein, we stuck with a similar style of food and ended up at Propaganda. There was little to no wait, which was pleasant. It was a nice day and we decided to eat outside. The focaccia bread and salad came out first, and both were good. I enjoyed the crispiness of the bread, though my only qualms were that the bread was quite oily and the butter and salt were just a tad bit too salty for my liking. The Insalata Mista salad was solid. Good flavor, good dressing-to-salad ratio, and a surprisingly good portion size. As far as pizza goes, the Margherita was good. Tasty, moist, and a nice crunch on the crust. I found it to be enjoyable, though I may have enjoyed more fresh basil on this. I did find it better than the Boscaiola. I got the black truffle honey add on, and it does not go well on this pizza in my opinion. There was virtually no taste of truffle to me, and more of just an aftertaste of oily sweet honey. This was a miss. It's hard to say whether the base pizza was good without it because the flavor profile was just too overpowered by the aftertaste. The Arts District is definitely coming up with new upscale dining establishments, and I'm there for it. I think this is a solid addition. Though this is a wine bar, I don't generally drink, so my review is based purely on the food. Results of their drinks, which is quite an extensive list, may be to your liking! They do have an inexpensive three wine flight, for reference!

From the moment we arrived, the team was incredibly accommodating, and having the owner, Adam, present and involved made the experience feel extra special. You can tell this place is run with real pride and passion. The space itself is stunning -- rich with history (we were told it was once Charlie Chaplin's studio and later a library), and you feel that character everywhere you look. Books line the walls, creating a warm, intimate atmosphere that's both elegant and inviting. The staff was attentive, kind, and on top of everything all evening, and the food was fantastic. And if you love wine, you are in very good hands -- their knowledge and selection are outstanding. Beautiful venue, wonderful people, unforgettable experience. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special night. Can't wait to go back!

The atmosphere is quiet and sophisticated, the kind of place that immediately lowers your shoulders. The staff are attentive without hovering, genuinely warm, and deeply knowledgeable. Craig and Randee are true sommeliers: intelligent, perceptive, and able to guide you to exactly the right pour based not just on preference, but on mindset. That said, the wine list is so strong you could throw a dart and land well every time. The food complements the experience beautifully. Order a pizza and a charcuterie board and let them do their work alongside the wine. After leaving, I sat in my car for a few minutes just to savor the lingering sense of peace and equilibrium--exactly what I needed to carry me into the following day. V Wine Room isn't just a destination; it's a pause button.

Everything is so overpriced it feels like they are intentionally letting you know you are not good enough to be one of their customers. You can get this type of food and wine at 99 other places with nicer employees, easier parking and much less attitude. The staff behaves as if this was a high school not a wine bar. Do yourself a favor and don't come here. I highly recommend the classic LA ambience at other close by establishments such as The Oaks on Bronson, the Alley in Silverlake or The Cara on Western instead. This place is like a bad Ryan Murphy series. It takes itself way too seriously. I've given them over 4 chances to change my mind since I live around the corner, and they never cease to amaze me when it comes to their entitled snotty staff & overpriced alcohol plus the parking is absolutely impossible! I even had to help customers break out of the parking lot one evening because the gate closes at a particular hour, and the restaurant doesn't even bother to tell you the gates shut at a particular time way before the restaurant closes. you're on your own, good luck getting your car out! avoid this place like the plague. I wish I could get back to $500. I've spent here over the past two years.

You can tell this team takes pride in what they do. The wine tasting was beautifully curated, and the staff did such a great job walking us through each pour, sharing helpful details, and making the whole experience feel relaxed but still elevated. Every question we had was answered with ease, and the pacing was spot-on. Dinner was just as impressive. Our table shared the chicken, steak, and salmon, and every single dish was outstanding. The chicken was flavorful and perfectly cooked, the steak was tender and rich, and the salmon was beautifully prepared--fresh, delicate, and full of flavor. Sharing everything family-style made it even better because we got to try a little of everything, and honestly, there wasn't a single miss. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. We felt genuinely taken care of the entire evening, and it made the night feel special. This is the kind of service and dining experience that makes you want to come back immediately--and bring friends. Highly recommend for a wine tasting, date night, or special occasion. We'll absolutely be back.

I do feel like it's a bit overpriced for what you get, but the service was good. They were backed up on our order and apologized by providing complimentary wine on the house, which was very kind of them. We got the Tuna tostada, Caesar salad and the pan con tomate. The tuna was fresh and the other two were just alright to me. It was really interesting as the salad had saradines which was different but nothing bad, but nothing really memorable either. Parking can be tough, but I was lucky enough to find street parking. Seating is also limited, and the wait can be long including the restroom line. However, we got lucky and were able to grab a table without waiting too long. Overall, it's a nice place with a great ambience, and I can see the appeal of this bar.

Loved the vibes inside, we sat at the bar and had great attentive service throughout. We got a bottle of wine, chicken liver mousse toast, steak frites and crème caramel for dessert. They've got indoor and outdoor seating. My party ended up getting seated right away. Our server was super friendly and walked us through the menu. Food came out fast and was paced perfectly. The Caesar beef tartare caught me off guard in the best way: great flavors with a nice hint of acidity. The steak frites was solid too, though the steak-to-fries ratio was off and the aioli came out a bit cold. The vibe is great with tons of natural light, but the tables are crammed way too close together, so it's tough to hear your own party's conversation when others are having conversations near by. A little more breathing room would go a long way. Still, glad I checked it out.
