Such a cool experience. We sat at the bar which I would recommend. They weren't that busy but had a cool crowd. Next door pasta was way busier. But this place instantly transported you into some Michelin style semi whimsical minimal futuristic gourmet setting. Especially with it being in a somewhat random and neighborhood and unsuspecting building. I loved the details and how every cocktail we saw came out in its own unique glassware. We had martinis which were well portioned and came in its own cool glass. Highly recommend the tuna tostada and the scallops to start. The tostada was delicately decorated with tiny garden elements each elevating the overall dishes esthetic and flavor. Every bite had something new to offer. The scallops were excellent EXCEPT the grapefruit somewhat ruined it. We removed that overpowering flavor for our next bite and it was so much better! Either the chunks were too large or I would remove it all together. Didn't need it. Absolutely recommend the branzino red curry as the main to share. Perfectly balanced flavor. Pairs well with the crab uni fried rice.

Came here for a little snack before a large dinner on a Friday and it was very good! Valet is $12 cash or $14 card, otherwise there is probably neighborhood parking as street parking can be a little tough to find if you're coming at the dinner rush hour. The drinks were delicious and so was everything else. I didn't like the seating situation because if you're a tall person then the couches are quite cramped and low to the ground. My favorite was the caviar tart it was so good i could order 5 of the and eat them myself lol. I think the portion sizes for the seafood are a little on the smaller side but the entrees looked decent for two people to share. I'll come back to try the entrees!

Such an aesthetic restaurant and the food did not disappoint either! I did my research and purposely set my reservation to sit in their bar seating at the Raw Bar side (they have the Pasta Bar right next to it). We got seated quickly upon checking in with the front desk. I strategically put the reservation at 5pm as well (when they open) so we could take advantage and take photos there! We got the Ribeye, scallop in half shells and spicy pomodoro. We shared everything and still had left overs! We also got the pina colada's which also hit the spot! Also, The parking is valet for $12 in the front.

Had just ate next door at Cento Pasta Bar, and decided to pop in to their Raw bar and taste something, along with a cocktail. We only had one cocktail at the pasta bar, but the Raw Bar, all of the cocktails were better than at the pasta bar. The Strawberry Daiquiri was refreshing with a good balance of rum and strawberry.. and the basil sitting on top of the ice gave that flavor profile initially with each drink. Well crafted. The Matcha Sour was also nice and you really got that matcha flavor come through in the middle and back end of the drink. The eleven twenty five was also interesting, but didn't stand out as much with the mezcal, lime and Aperol. For food, we tried the three tier seafood tower amongst four of us. The oysters were pretty tasty, with a little squeeze of lemon and a dash of vinegar. The shrimp were actually flavored well once you peeled the shell off, which was a little surprising as a lot of seasoning gets stuck on the shell and doesn't penetrate through to the meat. The scallops were decent posted with a little melon. The winner was the uni though, and I would say to save this for your last bite. By far the best item on the tower. Overall, really cute with a white ambiance promoting a clean and fresh vibe. Drinks were nice and the tier was pretty good. Order extra uni and thank me later.

Had such an amazing experience at CENTO Raw Bar! Severs Jacq and Mariana gave us incredible service from start to finish, so attentive, friendly, and made the whole night feel special. We ordered the 3 tower seafood platter, deviled eggs, tuna tostada, and ribeye, and every single dish was delicious and fresh. The cocktails were also so good and perfectly made. Definitely one of our favorite dining experiences lately. Can't wait to come back!

Friends! Come here!! No. Closer. I have something to tell you. Just three words.....CENTO Raw Bar. Let's chat! So it was my daughter's birthday and she experienced Cento about a month ago. She raved about their food and said, "this is where I wanna go for my birthday!" Bet. But honestly, I got nervous because: A - I'm a vegetarian. B - the word raw low key scares me. But we go where mama's baby wants to go. Pulled up to valet and went inside. This spot isn't small but isn't large; it was intimate. Great for date night, out with friends, or just to go hang out. We sat at the bar and were greeted by the bar staff. They wished my daughter a happy birthday. The place is beautiful!! I loved the thought process and aesthetics. We were served complimentary champagne. We ordered: the three level tower, deviled eggs, tuna tostada, and the branzino. Since my daughter knew the chef we were blessed with some extra entrees: arugula date salad, crab rice, rib eye, spicy margaritas, a Negroni, a matcha sour and a pina colada. We even received the strawberry tiramisu, chocolate bread pudding and bay leaf vanilla ice cream for dessert. Honestly there's no words or enough space on here to express my respect for the food served. Every bite was an explosion in my mouth! Can't even pick a favorite because each item holds a special place in my heart. If I had to pick top 3 it would be the scallops, tostada and the branzino. The wild card would be the devil eggs. I know you all are thinking, "isn't she a vegetarian?" Yes! But not last night because I tried every*single*item! And I'm glad I did. Hats off to the amazing service we received, chefs, and the owner of this space. From the moment I walked in until I left (3 hours later) I felt welcomed. Thank you for making my daughter smile and for giving me a new respect on food. *CHEERS*

Saw this place on Instagram and really wanted to check it out because of the aesthetic. Made a reservation for a table a few weeks before. This place looked exactly like the photos- so beautiful! We ordered the tuna tostada, oysters, hamachi crudo (could have been more tender, but good flavor), and the ribeye. Favs were the tuna tostada (chip was so crunchy!) and the ribeye (perfectly cooked!). Finished with the strawberry shortcake tiramisu- real strawberries inside. Would def come back for a girl dinner! They had valet parking for $14, but we parked in a neighborhood one block away.

Had a great time at CENTO raw bar, same address as the pasta bar, and to the right. The inside feels somewhere between a futuristic cave, and a mermaid tunnel, not sure what that means but I love it. Super instagram worthy, secret little spot that does not have enough attention right now. The service, INCREDIBLE. The bar manager was so sweet (girl) , very kind, as well as the guy with colorful glasses. She told us about the space and explained the menu, we got hamachi crudo, oysters, scallops, and tuna tostada. All of it was SO FRESH. Me and my partner agreed they had the best oysters in Los Angeles . Simple and SO SO clean tasting. The scallops were my partners favorite, with pesto , wow. There wasn't a crumb left on the plates. Everything was out of this world delicious, it all tasted fresh , zero smell, 10/10 The matcha cocktail, and the melon spritz we made into a mocktail were amazing. My only complaint is that a mocktail for 16$ that is prettttty lame, but other than that, they tasted incredible so I can't complain too much. This would be a cool bar for sober people to enjoy mocktails at atleast. All the ingredients from food to drink were incredible , excellent choice in pairing of flavors from chef and mixologist. Thank you to both! If you're next door grabbing dinner, don't miss appetizers or at least a cocktail before your email at this raw bar. The best LA date spot. So vibey.

Very very cute but .... Unfortunately does not live up to the hype at all especially for the price. The oysters were so fishy and the shrimp was black presentation was really lacking for a $80 bill. Service was ok they kind of all stuck to one side and it was difficult to get servers attention. Drinks were ok but overall I wouldn't recommend maybe stick to the pasta bar.

If I could rate the staffs separately, i would because they deserved 5 stars. However, the food wasnt up to my expectation. My husband had reserved a 9 PM table at the pasta bar for my birthday, but since we arrived early, we thought it would be nice to start at the raw bar. We ordered the 3-tier seafood tower ($97), which included two uni tacos (quite small, wrapped in perilla leaves), four shrimp, two scallops, four snow crab claws, and eight oysters. I really wanted to enjoy it--especially since it was a birthday dinner--but unfortunately, the seafood quality was disappointing. The shrimp, in particular, did not taste fresh; the texture was soft and falling apart, with a noticeable off smell. The crab claws and oysters also seemed less than fresh, and several of the oysters had very little meat, which was surprising given the price. We also ordered two drinks: the melon spritz and the matcha sour. The melon spritz was enjoyable and well-balanced, but the matcha sour fell a bit flat in comparison. At that point, we decided not to stay for our pasta reservation and chose to celebrate elsewhere instead. It was a disappointing start to what was meant to be a special evening. To be fair, the restaurant itself has a great ambiance and a stylish concept, which we appreciated. However, for a place centered around seafood, the quality simply didn't meet expectations--especially at that price point.

The best part, you go on a journey with flavors!

You walk in a the vibe is lively on a Friday! To the left its outdoor patio vibe, to the right, you enter a room with intimate and interesting textured walls- reminds me of Santorini or Greece. The food we got was one of the trays.. a sampler? It was delicious with a bottle of wine! The dessert was a strawberry tiramisu, hmm! The service was great, everyone was attentive and they continued to politely check in on us for timing purposes and food presentation purposes. If you've been thinking about this place- come by on a date or with your friends! Lovely vibe. They have valet, there is street parking too but be careful crossing the road as it's dark, street is big, cars drive by fast.

Uncomfortable seating, having to eat off our laps cause table is tiny.
    Ranee W.

I think Centro Raw Bar is a social experiment. Who can eat hovering over a tiny table vs who can stand and eat at a floating bar. Basically no proper tables or chairs. This is the longest review I've ever made... ***IMPORTANT NOTE: only reserve the bar or patio if you want to be seated comfortably. The seating in the front corner section completely ruined our experience. I was wearing a velvet suit and so afraid to ruin it because we had to eat off our laps cause the table was a short coffee table. I was so uncomfortable awkwardly leaning forward to eat. Everyone around us was struggling to either lean over to eat or putting the plates on their lap. It was a really unfortunate experience and cannot for the life of me understand why they would do that to diners spending hundreds of dollars per table. Once I walked around after dinner to admire the space, I was shocked to see the next front section have to stand, no chairs, at these floating bars. You can easily add barstools here so don't understand the standing. I was wearing high heels and would be so so pissed if I had to stand the whole time. Then I found the patio at the back and THATS where all the tables and chairs were. Shocked cause I truly don't understand why they are making us eat off our laps and stand if they DO have tables and chairs. In addition, the AC was blowing so hard in our section that everyone in our section were wearing their jackets. My husband opted to not take off his jacket and be comfortable because it was so cold. Lastly, I came here strictly to admire the design and aesthetic and was very disappointed to have these ugly wood chairs across from us that don't match the restaurant at all. I assume they came from the pasta bar next door? Everyone else had the cute white iron chairs with the swirl pattern. This place is so curated, so to have those outdated chairs, ruined any photos I was going to take. Nevermind, not a single person wanted to sit in them because they were so much higher than the tiny table, so you'd have to bend over even more to eat if you sat there. So every single guest was piled on the bench, squished together. Aside from the seating, the food was actually very delicious. Wasn't a fan of the uni crab rice (couldn't find the crab) or the deviled eggs but everything else was fab. Faves were the scallops on a half shell and the tuna tostada. Portions are small so order at least 6 small plates to be full. Was confused by the chicken & waffles and ribeye on the menu. I was looking forward to the fish dip, tartar and mosaic cheesecake which were all removed from the menu. Speaking of, there is no menu online. I had to google search around to find a guy who posted an old menu. Please put your menu online. My dirty martini was probably the worst I've had, but didn't care to say anything at this point. The dish ware was interesting. While I find them interesting, I don't find it matched the aesthetic. Under the sea cave vs. 80's pop party. Overall, PLEASE get proper tables and chairs in the front sections. That seating literally ruined our experience. It's like the two front sections were originally designed to be bar seating but changed it to be dining and it made for a really uncomfortable dining experience. Simply, just put proper tables and chairs in the front, problem fixed.

Cento Raw Bar is one of the trendiest restaurants in Los Angeles, and for good reason. The ambience is out of this world. Every detail is intentional. The hospitality is remarkable, thank you to our server Roberto for making our birthday dinner so memorable.

He was very sociable and friendly. We chatted with him and put in an order for the Kiwi Chowder. I ordered a Modelo and my mother ordered a glass of orange blend wine. He came over with the drinks a while later and the Kiwi chowder and have us plenty of time to sit and enjoy the dish before we ordered our main courses. The kiwi chowder was delicious and came with little crackers. The clams and mussels were so tasty and the Ora King Salmon was a nice treat. After a while he came back and served me the Fisherman's Mixed Basket and my mother got the Fish tacos with fish of the day for them being Sword Fish. My sister and I came in without reservations around 8pm and they sat us inside on the counter after 10 minutes of waiting. They were pretty full for table dining. We ordered: Steak Tartare (4/5) - Bread was perfectly oiled & crispy on the outside and chewy in the inside. The tonnato was very umami and made the dish but the steak itself was alright. Spicy Pomodoro (3.5/5) - This didn't hit as hard for me; I wished it was more spicy and I didn't taste any truffle. Pasta itself was perfectly al dente. Sweet Corn Agnolotti (5/5) - This was delish! Make sure to get equal parts of the pasta, sauce, corn, and crème fraiche (like a light sour cream) to get that flavor explosion. Creme was a little sour, corn was sweet, and the agnolotti was salty; perfect bite fr. My only negative is that this dish was too small for $28 :(. Blood Orange Pavlova (4/5) - A truly layered dessert because if you ate the sorbet by itself, it would be too sour but otherwise, another flavor explosion.
