Third time's the charm. This was my best meal yet at Super Peach. The menu has evolved, and I think it's for the better. The crispy potato chips were a big improvement over the old shrimp chips, and the mushroom noodles replaced the lobster noodles--which, for me, was a welcome change. The pasta was perfectly al dente this time and full of flavor. The raw shrimp rice roll was also a highlight, especially getting to assemble the hand roll yourself. It's still a splurge, but I'm happy to see the kitchen refining the experience. I'll definitely be back the next time it's time to use my Resy credit. read more

The service was great, but unfortunately the food was very underwhelming. Dine In Lunch Menu Scallion pancake w/ sides and dipping sauce - 6/10 - The sides were good. Bbq chicken, rice, and broccoli - 5/10 - There was mayo in the rice underneath the broccoli which was not appetizing to me, but the chicken was good. Social Hour Menu Chicken & caviar bun - 6/10 - The fried chicken meat tasted like it was frozen and warmed up, but the bun and caviar were nice. Burnt cheesecake - 2/10 - The cheesecake was hot and had a curdled texture, and the syrup and accompanying fruit did not taste fresh. To Go - Prime rib sandwich - 8/10 - This being their saving grace is crazy, but it was really good. Caramelized onions were really nice, and it tasted like they used a Hawaiian roll for the bun. - Glazed baked sweet potato - 7/10 - Wasn't expecting the cheese on the potato, but that was probably my fault and I misread the menu. However, the potatoes were fully cooked through and pretty good. I'm glad I got these menu items at the social hour prices, because for the price you're paying, unfortunately, the food quality does not match. If you have a kink for rude hosts and overpaying for food, this is your spot! My husband and I came here for the first time today, excited to try "Asian American food" as Asian-Americans. Upon entering, we were next in line to be seated. No hi, welcome, or how many people? Just silence and a stare. Strange. My husband tells the quiet weirdo that he made a reservation through open table. Silence again, then he twirls his hand in the air theatrically and he finally speaks, "your name?" You can guess how the rest of this convo went.. We're finally seated and I honestly just want to leave after that interaction but husband says not to let it affect our night. Okay fine. At least our server was pretty nice and the space looks cool. We ordered the chicken kimbab, sea bass, ribs, fried potatoes and the burnt cheesecake. A good variety. Spent 2+ hours here and a decent amount of that time is spent waiting on the food. That's fine. But the food is pretentious too. Tender meat, lots of flavor, and would order it again without thinking twice. The mushroom pasta was my second favorite. Simple dish but done well. The tuna kimbap was fresh and had good flavor too. The ribs looked great but were just alright. Not bad, but nothing that really stood out compared to the other dishes. One surprise was the kids slider. Didn't expect much from a kids menu item, but it was actually pretty tasty and worth ordering. Overall, it's definitely on the pricey side, but you're paying for the Century City location and atmosphere. If I have another Chase dining credit to use, I'd come back. I do not understand why the ratings for this restaurant are so low. It's located on the first floor of the Century City Mall, the indoors is reminiscent of Grand Central Station, and they have a nice outdoor seating area as well (though I didn't notice any umbrellas or heat lamps). The food is excellent with a twist - not just traditional Korean fare. Even my fusion-hating husband adores this place. So far everything we've had has been pretty tasty. Favorites include the sweet onion dip, grilled bass and broccolini, prime rib cheesesteak, and mushroom noodles. My daughter loved the tuna crudo so much we had to get her a second order. Both the tuna and fried chicken kimbap were pretty good, and I appreciated the smaller rice proportions. Yuzu lemonade has good flavor but I would enjoy it more if it were fizzy. Short review for the Korean Fried Chicken Wings only! Ordered takeout wings cause they looked so good, no batter, lightly floured and fried to golden perfection. They were great and the ideal wings for me. Only downside was they're seasoned with some salt mix dry rub that was WAY too salty, especially since the wings come with two sauces. I was really excited to try Super Peach as a Momofuku/Majordomo fan; this place was really good, but not great. We got the fried chicken kimbap to start, which was yum. One of the WORST restaurant experiences I have had in years. I came in with high expectations because this restaurant was featured in Chase Sapphire Reserve's dining program, and I had made a table reservation in advance. When I arrived, however, I was told my table was not ready and that only bar seating was available, even though I had reserved a table. I waited, despite seeing a few empty tables. Once seated, I ordered a starter, side, main course, and drink at once, expecting them to arrive in sequence. The Wagyu kimbap was underwhelming--I have honestly had better kimbap from casual DoorDash spots--but that was not the main issue. After finishing the starter, my plate was cleared and I waited another 30-40 minutes for the main course. By then, nearby tables had finished and left, while I was sitting alone with no food. No one checked on me or provided an update. I asked one server to check on my order. Nothing. I asked another server later. Still no update. Only after I raised it with a third server did the food finally arrive. No one apologized or explained the delay. The food was not particularly good, especially for the price, and by then I just wanted to leave. Ironically, the check arrived almost immediately--the fastest service I received all night. For a solo meal costing over $100, this was an extremely disappointing experience. Poor service, mediocre food, and absolutely not worth going out of the way for. I've been to Super Peach a couple times now and I'm a fan! When at Century City mall, it's a great option for some high quality eats and a chilla atmosphere with great service. On my first visit I sat in their swanky dining room and had the ~ Wagyu Beef Kimbap ($29) - Loved this. Jjajangmyeon ($59) - Tangsuyuk and jjajangmyeon are two of my favorite comfort foods I grew up on, and their combo dish is delicious. If you too grew up eating this, it will be a bit different than the traditional flavors while still keeping the integrity of the dishes. I still like traditional best but this was a nice take on modernizing it a bit and my friends & I loved it. I like their NA Asahi Beer option ($7) and the Jasmine Green Tea ($6). On my next visit, I sat on their patio to take advantage of their Social Hour. They have a couple of items on their 3-6pm Weekday Happy Hour menu which they call Social Hour not available on their usual menu I was determined to try! We weren't given a special menu so I don't know how anyone would know about these deals unless they researched prior like I did. It's a pity because there are some cool items you can get on the patio and at the bar during this time. For example, I did not know about the Peachy Meal Deal which includes a Tasty Deluxe slider, tallow fries, and a steakhouse martini for $35. However, we got the Tasty Deluxe slider ($14) and the Fried Chicken & Caviar Bao Bun ($19). The Fried Chicken was perfectly cooked, the bao was so soft, white BBQ sauce and chives on top with a generous helping of caviar - absolutely loved this. After coming back for a full meal, I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately the food didn't quite meet my expectations. The lobster pasta was drenched in sauce and had very little pasta, which made the dish feel unbalanced. The kalbi sam reminded me more of a fast-food Mediterranean kabob than the flavor I expected. The only dish that really stood out to me was the Korean fried chicken, which was actually pretty good. Service was also quite slow. Both the drinks and food took a long time to arrive, and I ended up canceling my second drink because it was taking too long. I've actually been here once before and sat at the bar. The drink service was much quicker there, although the food still took some time to come out. From my experience, the starter dishes seem to be better than the mains. The menu is also fairly limited, so there aren't a lot of options to choose from. This mall has somehow turned into a food destination. I don't even know when that happened, but a lot of my favorite spots are here now. Meanwhile Hollywood Ovation still has nothing, so now I have to drive over here and deal with parking just to eat. And yeah... coming here is a whole thing. You're not just stopping by, this is easily half your day. I've been wanting to try this place since it was under construction and I'm a big David Chang fan. We had an early Friday reservation and I'd definitely recommend doing the same -- gives you time to park, figure out where you are in the mall, and also take advantage of their "Social Hour" (aka happy hour). I didn't even know about it until we walked in, right after we had already gone somewhere else to kill time that didn't have one. Being in a mall does affect the vibe a bit. You're not really getting a fully dialed-in restaurant crowd -- more strollers, people in casual clothes, that kind of thing. Maybe that's just because we went early, but if that matters to you I'd sit at the bar so at least you can focus on the kitchen. Although honestly, that was my only real complaint -- the pass was kind of boring. I like watching that part, the movement, the energy (like at Gwen), and this just didn't really have that. The food though makes up for it. You're going to want to order a lot because the menu is strong. Rice Cracker was good, but the wings are the must-order. Maybe even two orders. And the Mushroom Noodles... I don't even like mushrooms, but this dish completely changed that. Easily the standout. Still thinking about it. I'd assume the Lobster Noodles hit the same way. I saw the Coming Soon signs last year at the LA Marathon and after completing it this year, we came in for lunch and it was great. We were seated so quickly and the hostess was so sweet. The one thing I found out later was I was I was supposed be receive a slice of this decadent looking chocolate cake (I LOVE chocolate), which unfortunately was not offered to us at the end of our meal. My husband and I found ourselves in Los Angeles last weekend for a matinee show in Inglewood and decided to have lunch nearby. Well, as you all know, nearby is sort of a misnomer when it comes to LA traffic. We made it on time to our reservation at Super Peach. Parking was easy as we used the Westfield structure. We popped up the escalator and Super Peach was right there, so we did not have to search the mall directory. We checked in a couple minutes late but the place was basically empty. We were seated in a booth and given menus. I went to wash my hands and returned to the booth. Our server was Ansley M. The menu is straightforward. It is sort of like a paired down menu compared to Majordomo, which I've frequented in the past. I was interested in the ssam so we ordered the short rib version ($92), along with the Korean fried chicken wings ($19), and the burnt cheesecake ($15)for dessert. The food arrived in spurts and towards the end was a tad slow. We asked for additional lettuce and kimchi. We had to ask for their house citrus ponzu sauce. We should have mentioned up front that we needed to leave by a certain time, but I honestly did not think our lunch would take almost an hour and a half and that it would take us almost 30 minutes to get to our next destination. But I should have known better, having gone to school in LA, that traffic is unpredictable even on weekends. The food was good. My husband really enjoyed the wings. I loved the short rib. The cheesecake was okay and took forever even though we asked to pack it up to go. We paid and left. They do not validate parking which was a bummer. We were told that Gelson's validated parking. We then attempted to order the steak frites and were told those were sold out. I then asked what was available from the entree menu and was given a list that included the cheesesteak which was now magically available. We were told at 8:30 that our kimbap were almost ready. It's now 8:47pm and we've received only a small bowl of chips. We finally received our food which was unfortunately not good. The service was lacking and inattentive, we had to ask for water refills and get up and see the hostess to be served the check. I thought it was a good deal at $35/person for a 3-course luncheon and everything I ordered tasted great. The portions were generous, which meant I had to take most of my entree home (yay for not having to make dinner). They give you complimentary rice crackers with lime and Tajin on the side and it was okay. The service was attentive and the place was spacious with a clean and minimalistic design. A super belated post since I was battling flu symptoms and am now well enough and remembered to write this well deserved review! If you're looking for a fancy spot for a date, I'd say Super Peach is a nice choice! Just make sure you make a reservation during lunch time or even dinner, unless you're okay with waiting! We came with a reservation, so we were able to immediately grab a table. Our server was very attentive, and always came back to check up on us, fill our waters, and clean our plates. We had a lovely spread of food (take a look at the photos, as they speak for themselves), and loved the tuna rolls and fried chicken wings. I didn't care too much for the salmon or pasta, but those were not bad too! The only thing that compelled me to write the review was their chicken, which we got two plates of! The side sauces were a nice touch, but not necessarily needed if you like your chicken dry. As for the price? It's pricey here! But if you really want elevated cuisine and fine dining, that's the price you'll have to pay. No parking validation unfortunately, and it is located in the mall. We ordered last day of dine la. 1st course chicken karaage.. it was fresh, and lightly flavored. and shrimp skewers. Enjoyed a DineLA menu at Super Peach and it was an amazing value for $35 per person. Started with a slightly sweet crisp with tajin then a spicy tuna app. You actually get 4 pieces of sushi but it looked so good I could hardly wait. The taste was a bit lackluster but the sauce brought it to life. Main course was striped bass and charred broccolini. Very unique flavors and perfectly cooked albeit a bit oily. Dessert course was different on the website. Instead of chocolate cake they had coconut pudding. Not a great substitute but it wasn't terrible. Service was spectacular and everything was perfectly timed. If it was full price I'd give 3 stars, but it's a good DineLA option. read more

Food was okay, nothing in particular stood out. For the food: Pork buns - pork belly was cooked nicely but under seasoned and needed additional hoisin sauces, the bun dough (if made there) may have needed to either be rested more or underkneaded as it was breaking easily. Tuna crudo - nice fish and liked the bigger slices, condiment was nice, but otherwise not particularly a special dish Wagyu Gimbap - overall pretty good, although not very inspired, texture of rice was nice/seaweed, bulgogi flavor was alright, could've used more pickles or acidity KBBQ chicken ssam - once again decent but nothing to write home about, the banchan were decent Service was difficult, for a point - no waiters stopped by for 30 minutes, to a point where we had to get the remaining food to go as we ran out of time. Ordered 3 small plates -- sweet potato wedges (favorite of the 3), spicy tuna kimbap (good amount of heat), korean hot wings (good without any sauce). Basically it's cheap street foods elevated to fine dining status similar to David Chang's Momofuku concept. Almost $70 including tax and tip. I wish they had happy hour with these items then I would come here every month. Absolutely loved Super Peach! This place has indoor seating for a romantic vibe at night or a cute lunch with friends in the day. There's a long table outside for a big party to eat at. This restaurant is located near Javier's at the corner of the mall on the first floor. This restaurant has a delicious Asian twist to the food and it tastes so good! I loved everything we ate, from the fried chicken to the bibimbap, it was all so good. Our waiter was so nice and knew the menu really well. I don't think I'd come to this restaurant normally because of how pricey everything was for Panda-Express level of food. I came here for DineLA which would be fine Wagyu kimbap 5/5 the kimbap was delicious. Beef was flavorful and juicy. This is my favorite Tuna kimbap 5/5 was also very good. Very spicy too Seabass 3/5 was very salty because of the chive sauce. Though I saw that normally it would cause $35 for the dish which isn't worth it. Mushroom noodles 3/5 it was a so so, average noodle that I can make at home. It just reminds me of Trader Joe's mushroom pasta Coconut pudding 5/5 was great. It wasn't too sweet. Oftentimes I don't like coconut flavor but this doesn't have the coconut bits that I hate. Baked cheesecake 4/5 was alright. It could be much creamy and eggy. Service was average and was a bit slow. Excited to see Super Peach as part of the Chase x Open Table partnership so we made a reservation to try after Christmas located inside Century City Mall. We made a reservation last minute and was seated at the bar which provided great kitchen watching as dishes were being sent out. Interior was really nice - love the teal/orange combo! Nathan was our server and he was really nice, checked in on us a couple times during the meal, and gave great tips/suggestions! The stars of the show for us: + Blue fin tuna Kimbap - great tuna portion and rice ratio and the tuna was a nice fattiness cut that melts in your mouth + Tallow Sweet Potato wedges - texture was amazing! It's like they steamed it and then fried so the outside is crispy yet thin and the inside was soft like a mashed potato. The seasoning was just right too. Paired with their white BBQ sauce was a winner for us. + their homemade hot sauce - so good and def has a kick to it! Would order again: + 20oz ribeye - was a more leaner piece but cooked perfectly, and had an interesting sweet glaze to it. I think a sauce or some sort would do well here. PRO TIP: swap the coleslaw for the potato wedges (free). Our server told us this and we were so happy! + Burnt Basque Cheesecake - I love basque cake and today's selection was with a tangerine and marmalade. The cheesecake was soft with a slight char but I wish it was more cheesey. The marmalade had a slight bitterness to it that I didn't love. Not our favorite: + Spare Ribs: was on the drier side for us with more bone than meat. + the complimentary rice cracker with tajin/lime. The cracker was crispy for us but I felt like it was missing something. Would come back for the kimbap and to try more items! read more
