Great food and service. Trea'jure was 10/10 server!!!! Loved the kimbaps and the bass was very tasty!

My husband and I found ourselves in Los Angeles last weekend for a matinee show in Inglewood and decided to have lunch nearby. Well, as you all know, nearby is sort of a misnomer when it comes to LA traffic. We made it on time to our reservation at Super Peach. Parking was easy as we used the Westfield structure. We popped up the escalator and Super Peach was right there, so we did not have to search the mall directory. We checked in a couple minutes late but the place was basically empty. We were seated in a booth and given menus. I went to wash my hands and returned to the booth. Our server was Ansley M. The menu is straightforward. It is sort of like a paired down menu compared to Majordomo, which I've frequented in the past. I was interested in the ssam so we ordered the short rib version ($92), along with the Korean fried chicken wings ($19), and the burnt cheesecake ($15)for dessert. The food arrived in spurts and towards the end was a tad slow. We asked for additional lettuce and kimchi. We had to ask for their house citrus ponzu sauce. We should have mentioned up front that we needed to leave by a certain time, but I honestly did not think our lunch would take almost an hour and a half and that it would take us almost 30 minutes to get to our next destination. But I should have known better, having gone to school in LA, that traffic is unpredictable even on weekends. The food was good. My husband really enjoyed the wings. I loved the short rib. The cheesecake was okay and took forever even though we asked to pack it up to go. We paid and left. They do not validate parking which was a bummer. We were told that Gelson's validated parking. We paid $5 in the parking garage. I think I'll use my Chase Sapphire dining credit elsewhere next time. read more

Going for "high quality" Korean/Asian blended food? This is not the spot, especially if you are seeking something more friendly for the budget. Tucked away in Century City Mall, Super Peach does have a modern vibe to it that is consistent with the mall setting. When I went, it was not busy so I was able to seated fairly quickly. Service: 5/10 - it was pretty slow, especially when the restaurant was not busy. I got my first dish (the fried chicken kimbap) within 10 minutes of ordering but the rest of the dishes took about another 30 minutes. It was a little difficult to flag someone down to request water refills. The staff was friendly though, which was their saving grace. Food I started with the fried chicken kimbap. Nothing too special. I felt the vegetables and sauce outflavored the actual fried chicken inside. Overall presentation of food: 10/10. Food Taste: 6/10 Jjajangmyeon was one of the recommended dishes to get, so I gave that a shot. $59 for it is pretty wild. I did appreciate the server providing background on what the dish was (in the case there were diners who had no idea) while pouring the sauce on the noodles. It came with tangsuyuk (fried chicken), which is always good to have. The jjajangmyeon was what I would expected, though it was much more oily. Is it worth $59 though? No, you can skip the show and get the same jjajangmyeon at other Korean spots for half the price. Overall presentation of food: 10/10. Food Taste: 7.2/10 The pork belly ssam was my favorite dish. Glistening pork belly on top of steamed rice that also came with lettuce wrap and sauces to add in. The server explained how to eat the dish (place in lettuce wrap) though it got a little messy trying to make the wrap, so I would just recommended scooping in your dish and eat the lettuce on the side. Pork belly was very tendered and seasoned well; the boundaries between fat and meat were blurred. Overall presentation of food: 10/10. Food Taste: 7.5/10 read more

I've been to Super Peach a couple times now and I'm a fan! When at Century City mall, it's a great option for some high quality eats and a chilla atmosphere with great service. On my first visit I sat in their swanky dining room and had the ~ Wagyu Beef Kimbap ($29) - Loved this. Jjajangmyeon ($59) - Tangsuyuk and jjajangmyeon are two of my favorite comfort foods I grew up on, and their combo dish is delicious. If you too grew up eating this, it will be a bit different than the traditional flavors while still keeping the integrity of the dishes. I still like traditional best but this was a nice take on modernizing it a bit and my friends & I loved it. I like their NA Asahi Beer option ($7) and the Jasmine Green Tea ($6). On my next visit, I sat on their patio to take advantage of their Social Hour. They have a couple of items on their 3-6pm Weekday Happy Hour menu which they call Social Hour not available on their usual menu I was determined to try! We weren't given a special menu so I don't know how anyone would know about these deals unless they researched prior like I did. It's a pity because there are some cool items you can get on the patio and at the bar during this time. For example, I did not know about the Peachy Meal Deal which includes a Tasty Deluxe slider, tallow fries, and a steakhouse martini for $35. However, we got the Tasty Deluxe slider ($14) and the Fried Chicken & Caviar Bao Bun ($19). The Fried Chicken was perfectly cooked, the bao was so soft, white BBQ sauce and chives on top with a generous helping of caviar - absolutely loved this. The slider was incredibly messy but incredibly tasty and loved that, as well. The food at Super Peach is really stellar and I will surely be back! I can't wait to try more on the menu! read more

After coming back for a full meal, I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately the food didn't quite meet my expectations. The lobster pasta was drenched in sauce and had very little pasta, which made the dish feel unbalanced. The kalbi sam reminded me more of a fast-food Mediterranean kabob than the flavor I expected. The only dish that really stood out to me was the Korean fried chicken, which was actually pretty good. Service was also quite slow. Both the drinks and food took a long time to arrive, and I ended up canceling my second drink because it was taking too long. I've actually been here once before and sat at the bar. The drink service was much quicker there, although the food still took some time to come out. From my experience, the starter dishes seem to be better than the mains. The menu is also fairly limited, so there aren't a lot of options to choose from. Overall, I'm not sure I would return for a full meal, but the appetizers and bar experience might still be worth checking out. read more

Post Marathon celebratory lunch! Been waiting to eat for a year and finally did it! I saw the Coming Soon signs last year at the LA Marathon and after completing it this year, we came in for lunch and it was great. We were seated so quickly and the hostess was so sweet. Had a few items from the menu to share for the table that were all of course amazing. The one thing I found out later was I was I was supposed be receive a slice of this decadent looking chocolate cake (I LOVE chocolate), which unfortunately was not offered to us at the end of our meal. We didn't actually get asked if we wanted to have dessert so that was a really sad miss for the meal. Chicken wings were decent but not amazing. They're just fried and you add the sauce which didn't stick unless you bite it open first! Salad was good but nothing amazing. Went for lunch DineLA + Chase Sapphire Edit restaurant. The cost is $35/pp. We sat on the patio outside, which is dog friendly! We ordered the wagyu beef kimbap and the spicy tuna kimbap. The Wagyu beef kimbap was not good. The beef was super salty and too chewy ... I'm not even sure if it was true wagyu because it wasn't melt in my mouth/tender. The spicy tuna kimbap was good though. We also got the sea bass and half fried chicken. The sea bass was good but it was really oily. The fried chicken was ok, thought it was a bit dry but my husband liked the flavor. I thought it reminded me of the el pollo loco chicken hahaha. Dessert we got the burnt cheesecake and the coconut pudding. The cheesecake was good! NOTE: The DineLA menu posted on the DineLA website is different than the one we were offered at the restaurant. For example, the dessert offered chocolate cake online but the menu the restaurant gave us has coconut pudding. Service was pretty good ... I liked our server, she was super nice. Restaurant vibes are beautiful, the bathroom is clean. We also ordered a Spirtz Florale non alcoholic drink. It's very interesting tasting ... kinda a sweet medicinal taste haha. It wasn't bad. It has a ton of ingredients (over 8 ingredients). Food is a 3 star but I liked the service and ambiance so I bumped it up to 4. I wouldn't eat here outside of lunch DineLA and I'm glad my sapphire reserve card covered my meal. Parking: Expensive. First hour free but afterwards it's $5 plus $2 every 20 minutes thereafter. We ate lunch and walked around the mall and that cost us $9 in parking (we were at the mall for 1 hr 50 mins). TIP: Go to Gelson's and buy at least $10 worth of groceries and they will validate parking. It's not that much more and you at least get something out of it. read more

I was lucky enough to visit Super Peach during its last week of DineLA on a weekday during lunch. I thought it was a good deal at $35/person for a 3-course luncheon and everything I ordered tasted great. The portions were generous, which meant I had to take most of my entree home (yay for not having to make dinner). They give you complimentary rice crackers with lime and Tajin on the side and it was okay. The service was attentive and the place was spacious with a clean and minimalistic design. The drive to get here was a nightmare though so this is my one and done - I'd prefer going back to Majordomo should I have a hankering for Korean-fusion food. -Spicy tuna kimbap: 5/5; sizeable for a half portion and was very good. -Half fried chicken: 4/5; was very tasty (could drink the gingery-citrus dip) but wished it came with rice instead of the watercress salad. -Burnt cheesecake: 4/5; tasty dessert for someone who doesn't have a sweet tooth. read more

Whatever you do, get. the. chicken. wings. Oh my gosh!!! I'm still thinking about it even though it's been months since my visit to Super Peach! A super belated post since I was battling flu symptoms and am now well enough and remembered to write this well deserved review! We came to Super Peach via Resy and were thoroughly impressed with the service, food, and overall ambiance of the place! If you're looking for a fancy spot for a date, I'd say Super Peach is a nice choice! Just make sure you make a reservation during lunch time or even dinner, unless you're okay with waiting! We came with a reservation, so we were able to immediately grab a table. Our server was very attentive, and always came back to check up on us, fill our waters, and clean our plates. We had a lovely spread of food (take a look at the photos, as they speak for themselves), and loved the tuna rolls and fried chicken wings. I didn't care too much for the salmon or pasta, but those were not bad too! The only thing that compelled me to write the review was their chicken, which we got two plates of! The side sauces were a nice touch, but not necessarily needed if you like your chicken dry. As for the price? It's pricey here! But if you really want elevated cuisine and fine dining, that's the price you'll have to pay. No parking validation unfortunately, and it is located in the mall. We ordered last day of dine la. 1st course chicken karaage.. it was fresh, and lightly flavored. and shrimp skewers. There r no refills since they give us the can and bottle. 2nd course is the grilled sea bass. Sea bass was also fresh and moist.. the onions on top I just brushed to the side. That was ok. First time here and overall a great experience. I was able to try the Korean Fried Chicken Wings, Citrus Soy Soft Tofu, Fried Chicken Kimbap, and the Sweet and Spicy Chicken and Pork Belly Ssam. The dishes that stood out the most and that I would come back for were the Fried Chicken Kimbap and the Pork Belly Ssam. Both had unique flavors that I have not had at any other restaurant. The fried chicken kimbap was especially delicious with the pickled chiles, onion, and spicy mayo. For dessert, I tried the Burnt Cheesecake and the Salted Caramel Pudding. Enjoyed a DineLA menu at Super Peach and it was an amazing value for $35 per person. Started with a slightly sweet crisp with tajin then a spicy tuna app. You actually get 4 pieces of sushi but it looked so good I could hardly wait. The taste was a bit lackluster but the sauce brought it to life. Main course was striped bass and charred broccolini. Very unique flavors and perfectly cooked albeit a bit oily. Dessert course was different on the website. Instead of chocolate cake they had coconut pudding. Not a great substitute but it wasn't terrible. Absolutely loved Super Peach! This place has indoor seating for a romantic vibe at night or a cute lunch with friends in the day. There's a long table outside for a big party to eat at. This restaurant is located near Javier's at the corner of the mall on the first floor. This restaurant has a delicious Asian twist to the food and it tastes so good! I loved everything we ate, from the fried chicken to the bibimbap, it was all so good. Our waiter was so nice and knew the menu really well. Very spicy too Seabass 3/5 was very salty because of the chive sauce. Though I saw that normally it would cause $35 for the dish which isn't worth it. Mushroom noodles 3/5 it was a so so, average noodle that I can make at home. It just reminds me of Trader Joe's mushroom pasta Coconut pudding 5/5 was great. It wasn't too sweet. Oftentimes I don't like coconut flavor but this doesn't have the coconut bits that I hate. Baked cheesecake 4/5 was alright. It could be much creamy and eggy. Service was average and was a bit slow. Excited to see Super Peach as part of the Chase x Open Table partnership so we made a reservation to try after Christmas located inside Century City Mall. We made a reservation last minute and was seated at the bar which provided great kitchen watching as dishes were being sent out. Interior was really nice - love the teal/orange combo! Nathan was our server and he was really nice, checked in on us a couple times during the meal, and gave great tips/suggestions! The stars of the show for us: + Blue fin tuna Kimbap - great tuna portion and rice ratio and the tuna was a nice fattiness cut that melts in your mouth + Tallow Sweet Potato wedges - texture was amazing! It's like they steamed it and then fried so the outside is crispy yet thin and the inside was soft like a mashed potato. The seasoning was just right too. Paired with their white BBQ sauce was a winner for us. + their homemade hot sauce - so good and def has a kick to it! Would order again: + 20oz ribeye - was a more leaner piece but cooked perfectly, and had an interesting sweet glaze to it. I think a sauce or some sort would do well here. PRO TIP: swap the coleslaw for the potato wedges (free). Our server told us this and we were so happy! + Burnt Basque Cheesecake - I love basque cake and today's selection was with a tangerine and marmalade. The cheesecake was soft with a slight char but I wish it was more cheesey. The marmalade had a slight bitterness to it that I didn't love. Not our favorite: + Spare Ribs: was on the drier side for us with more bone than meat. + the complimentary rice cracker with tajin/lime. Got lucky to discover this fantastic place full of yummy foods. I love their Korean wings so delish, crispy but not oily. They have two sauces that put magical flavors on any dish you order which makes flavor another level of goodness. Ribs is a must super tender, juicy not dry and pack with umami. Pork belly is super moist, tender not rubbery. Chicken salad is best side dish to go with all the meats. Mushroom pasta noodle is under cooked. Staff are always checking on you and giving their best recommendations and suggestions. Smooth music and ambient lighting a nice touch for your dining experience. WOW. This place knocked my socks off! Was not expecting this level of food and creativity at a mall. Very pleasantly surprised. Simple, modern decor in bold colors. No reservation but was able to get a table at 2 pm during the holidays. They were busy but not full. Got recommendations on what to order from the friendly host. cucumber salad - refreshing and light, highly recommend korean chicken wings - an absolute must, better IMO without the sauce blue fin tuna kimbap - tuna was of excellent quality and fresh, overall the dish was good but not great SP chicken salad - a WOW, chinese chicken salad with a korean twist, very substantial and filling Food came out quickly. Restaurant seemed to be running a smooth and seamless ship. Love David Chang and this is another winner. Made the trek to the west side for this and it did not disappoint. The curry filled donut was a nice surprise but the best bites were Korean fried chicken & the pork baby back ribs. The crunch on the fried chicken! The sweet & spicy sauce! Delicious. The only miss was the mushroom noodles. After how amazing the mushroom crispy rice was from majordomo (also by momofoku) I had some really high hopes for it but it was too salty which overpowered all the other flavors. Docked off one star for that dish disappointment. Had seen some earlier reviews knocking the service but no issues today! Service was super friendly & fast. For an extremely pet friendly mall, I had my well-behaved senior dogs in a stroller and we've had no issues dining at restaurants here before. Host straight up asked if they were service dogs (yes, they're certified) and proceeded to ask me what they're for (if Super Peach really wanted medical proof, I'm able to provide them). This did not sit well with me having to explain my needs to a total stranger lol. I realized it's also illegal to ask after consulting my friend. We went to Super Peach on New Year's Eve and they were offering a prix fixe menu. Overall, it was pretty good, but I do have a few thoughts and notes!! First, service timing was a little off. Our food came out of order, and they completely forgot one of our side dishes, the broccoli. We ended up having to take it to go at the very end, which was a bit of a miss, especially on a prix fixe night. That said, there were some real highlights. The chicken wings were phenomenal. Easily one of the best things we had. I also really enjoyed the little rice paper snack, simple but fun and tasty. The chicken salad had great flavor overall, but the chicken itself was a little questionable. The taste was slightly off and the texture was a bit slimy and veiny, which made it hard to fully enjoy. The flamin' yam was good, but not amazing. Definitely solid, just not the best version I've had. On the other hand, the lobster pasta was delicious and absolutely delivered. Dessert completely stole the show. We had the chocolate cake and the salted caramel coconut pudding, and both were honestly 20 million out of 10. So good and a perfect way to end the meal. Overall, I'd rate Super Peach a 3.8 out of 5. Rounding up, I'm giving it 4 stars. Solid food with some standout dishes, but a few service and execution issues kept it from being a home run. read more

Not busy at all for a weekend lunch. The restaurant has a cool modern vibe. Service was really good, my waiter gave nice recs. All the dishes were really delicious. The lobster noods were definitely a hit, lots of lobster pieces and loved that it came with udon noodles. Bit expensive, but totally worth. Flavors are pretty on par with other David Chang's restaurants that I've been to. A nice addition to the mall when you want some good food and need a shopping break. read more

(3.5/5) Dined here for lunch recently. We tried to make reservations on Open Table, but ended up walking in and got seated immediately without reservation. What we ordered: Complimentary rice cake (1/5): Appreciate that its complimentary but the cakes were so stale, I had a hard time eating it. Tuna Kimbap (4.5/5): The tuna tasted fresh, the spice was just right. Veggies are fresh too. However, this felt more like a spicy tuna sushi rather than kimbap. Striped Bass + Broccolini (3/5): The striped bass was very tender. Love the scallion ginger garnish. It complements the bass well. Only downside is it was a little too salty. Broccolini was oily and flavorless. It could use some lemon to balance the oil. Ribs + Slaw (2/5): Ribs were not as tender as they look. The meat was dry and the seasoning was bland. The slaw was decent. It felt like they overcooked the ribs. Korean Fried Chicken (3.5/5) Fried chicken with salt and pepper seasoning on the batter. The chicken was juicy and meaty. This is not real Korean Fried Chicken as the chicken was not doused in sauce, the sauce was on the side as a dip. The Gochujang sauce was the better of the two. Chocolate Cake (5/5): You can't go wrong with chocolate cake. It's rich and pairs well with the yuzu creme. Overall experience was good. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Our waters were never empty and we were checked in on often. However, our entrees took some time to come compared to the other parties that came after us. That didn't take away the experience too much. The food was good, but not mind blowing. We felt it was far too pricey for what felt like average to us. Came here for dinner on a sunday at 8PM, and I immediately appreciated the cute retro vibes inside! We had a reservation and were seated in the booths immediately. We ordered the lychee cocktail and the mango highball, and both drinks were delicious. The lychee was sweet and smooth, while the mango highball was delightfully smokey. For starters, we got the curry donut and the tuna kimbap, after much debate between the wagyu and tuna kimbap. Our waitress recommended the tuna to balance out our two heavier main dishes. I would HIGHLY recommend the curry donut, as it came out piping hot and so crispy, and the filling was so flavorful and full. The tuna kimbap blew us away. I didnt expect much from seeing the pictures, but the tuna was amazingly soft, fatty, and rich. The soy sauce they provided was also the perfect amount of saltiness, flavor, and coated the kimbap perfectly! For our main entrees, we got the baby back ribs and the lobster noodles, and a side of fingerling crushed potatoes. The ribs had a delightful charcoal flavor and was SO tender but also crispy! It was definitely my favorite entree. The lobster noodles were very rich and came with a lot of lobster, but the flavor profile just wasn't for me. It was savory and had a spicy, garlicky taste. The fingerling potatoes were super crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and came with a nostalgic ranch sauce. Overall, I had a great experience here and our servers were super quick and very attentive! I made a reservation here for lunch on a Sunday without realizing it was a David Chang restaurant. Let's start with the pros: cute quirky decor. The vibe is laid back and casual with a chill atmosphere and ambiance. The person checking us in let us in earlier than our reservation time which was nice of them. The staff was really friendly and kept checking in on us and refilling our waters. Cons: a lot of the dishes were just okay to me. I came in with pretty high expectations but the flavors were very underwhelming for me. The mushroom noodles I felt like I could just make it myself at home or get it cheaper somewhere else. The salad was okay I did like how much cheese there was on it. The gimbap was disappointing. I can literally get cheaper way better tasting gimbap elsewhere so this one just didn't stand out to me.
