Another great dining experience on all levels. This time was for DineLA, which was such a value. The room has a great vibe with different seating options indoors (including bar) and outdoor space and window adjacent tables. We started with the farmhouse beets, a delicious balance of beets, arugula and dressing topped with candied pecans. The portion was more than enough so we boxed some up to leave room for the main course. Our mains were the wagyu beef stroganoff and the trout filet with blistered green beans. The stroganoff and pappardelle arrived in its own covered dish, so hot it sat on a wood base. While it was a good comfort food dish I thought the horse radish was a little too forward for my taste. It was my companion's entree and she really enjoyed it and there was enough to take home. I had the trout filet with its crispy pepita topping served with blistered green beans. Very happy with my choice and it was also a generous portion. Dessert was the yuzu olive oil cake for my friend and butterscotch budino for me. I loved the balance of butterscotch, crème fraiche, salt and pecans. And the pecan cookie was a great accompaniment. She enjoyed her selection as well. Corkage fee is $20. From the ambiance to the food and service, it was another great experience here. Parking was easy with metered parking along Beverly.
Came back here for a brunch and the quality was much better! I really enjoyed their lunch specials and they were a great portion and value overall. I got the Spicy Chicken Lunch and it came with Mashed Potatoes and Coleslaw. It had a good clean flavor with a soft spice that wasn't too much. Service was friendly and attentive too. Really liked how bright the space is during the day and would come back!
What a great place to dine that serves up bold and flavorful dishes. I very much enjoyed the ambiance and presentation end to end. The service here is excellent and everything ran smoothly with zero issues. The bread and butter here is excellent while waiting for your meal. I had the beef stroganoff, which is a comfort dish for me. It's hearty and delicious so I couldn't wait to try this dish. I was certainly surprised because I was not expecting it to be incredibly flavorful. It was so good I couldn't stop eating it. Highly recommended! We ended our meal with the devil's advocate flourless chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream, which was delicious for being flourless. What a perfect way to end a tasty meal. My only complaint is the parking because we didn't know where we could park. We ended up getting a ticket because we thought we could park nearby. Definitely recommend asking where to park to avoid a ticket. Overall, we very much enjoyed our dining experience and will certainly be back to try other menu items.
Overall, I'd give 3.5 stars. Granville is a chain restaurant, similar to the likes of Olive garden, Chilies, etc, but probably a tad more upscale in terms of the overall decor and vibe. Service was fine, but nothing special. We were greeted, seated and the waitress took our orders. Once the food arrived, our waitress barely came by again except towards the end to drop off our check. Other staff did come by to clear our empty plates from the table, so that was nice. We did notice that they only provided 1 serving spoon for all of our dishes. Would've liked a serving utensil with each dish to minimize cross-contamination and mixing of flavors. Throughout our dining, there were flies and small bugs flying around, which was off-putting and annoying as we had to keep swatting them away from landing on our food. 1. Farmhouse Beet Salad (5/5) It's a good thing this was the 1st dish to arrive at our table as it left a good 1st impression. The roasted organic beets were fresh and had that earthy-tone to it. Dressed with their lemon-oregano vinaigrette, feta, arugula, and candied pecans. OMG, those candied pecans were heavenly. It's crunchy and toasted to perfection. the candied flavor of it was addictingly delicious. If they have a menu item of candied pecans, I'll order it any day. 2. Trio Taco (2.5/5) You can choose between chicken, steak, shrimp, plant-based chicken, or jackfruit. We opted for steak. The steak was fine, but for BBQ sauce used was just a dish killer. They need to rethink the choice of sauce used in these tacos. Also, not a fan of corn tortilla. Wish they gave a choice between corn and flour tortilla. 3. Artisan Bread & Butter (5/5) Their sourdough bread sliced, grilled and brushed generously with garlic olive oil. Severed with a side of whipped duckfat butter. I've never had duck fat butter before, so this was a pleasant experience to try. Not to worry, there's no duck flavor at all. It's almost like cream cheese but lighter and airer. 4. Ahi Filet (1.5/5) Sesame-crusted ahi with a side wasabi aioli. The ahi was so-so; definitely, not the freshest and there's no "melt-in-your mouth" joy. The wasabi aioli sauce was good though. There is a subtle spice kick from the wasabi. It's served with a side of soba noodles that was gingery and peanuty in flavor. Unfortunately, the noodles were overcooked as they stuck to each other in clumps. 5. Bacon & Blue Burger (4.5/5) Quite a satisfying burger consisting of wagyu beef, duroc bacon, aged blue cheese, caramelized onions, and arugula. It's juicy, meaty, slightly tangy from the horseradish aioli and sweet from the port wine reduction. The brioche bun was pleasantly soft. 6. Thai Ginger Salad (3/5) This salad consists of romaine lettuce as the base. It is dressed with Thai sesame dressing, which was underwhelming. The toppings for this salad include fresh mango cubes, slaw, slices of avocado, fresh peanut bits, tomato and soba noodles. It's not a bad salad, but for the price, I do not think it is worth it. 7. Superfood Longevity Salad (4/5) A salad consisting of mixed greens (lacinato kale and spring mix) with a variety of rich, nutritious toppings (organic beets, quinoa, pomegranate, radish, blueberries, almonds, dried Bing cherries, and pepitas). The dressing is a sherry vinaigrette that's tangy, creamy and light. All the ingredients came together well. If you are looking for a hearty salad, this is for you. 8. Hibiscus Rosé (4/5) Sparkling rosé with hibiscus flavor infused with grapefruit skin to give it a bit of citrus note and topped off with a micro flower to add a special touch of decor to the drink. In summary, the food looks better than it actually tastes. Come here if you want to eat out with a large party for celebration, but otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it for a special night out as the price does not justify the experience.
Great restaurant for a large gathering! Granville West Hollywood delivered on flavor and service. I got a medium-rare steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus and everything worked really well together. The ingredients are super fresh- the meat was salty, warm and tender- while the potatoes were buttery and creamy. The asparagus was crunchy, earthy and lemony. Everyone else at my table thoroughly enjoyed their dishes, too!
The food was absolutely amazing. Everything was cooked exceptionally well and had the most amazing flavors. Service was also top tier. Ambiance was very aesthetic and the restaurant itself was very clean. Highly recommend!! (I got the Pasta Alla Vodka with salmon)
WOW!!!! Beyond 5 Stars!!! Shoutout to Taylor for above and beyond customer service! She did a phenomenal job with very attentive service throughout my dining experience! Granville is located across the street from Cedar Sinai Medical Center, on Beverly Blvd. It is where Jerry's Famous Deli used to be, for the locals that are familiar with the building and area! The parking is a little convenient. You have a choice, either street parking next to a meter or valet directly behind the building. Valet is $14, and a little steep, in my opinion. This restaurant is beautifully decorated with a classy casual vibe! Very welcoming and friendly! Now for the food: I started off with the Butternut Squash Soup in a cup. Very creamy and tasty!! Flavorful with dried cranberries, walnuts, and chives. Amusing combination! I ordered from their lunch menu, I picked the Spicy Chicken plate. Moist chicken breast with an accompaniment spicy sauce, and it had a kick to it! The salad and mashed potatoes were spectacular! Perfect portions! My drink was an Arnold Palmer. A perfect amount of sweetness all around! For the grand finale, the dessert! Brûlée'd Banana Brownie! Scrumptious and sinfully delicious, overall! Granville was priced reasonably for the area! Not bad!!! Highly recommended! Food was yummy! If you have nut allergies, please pay close attention to the menu descriptions, and let them know your allergies before ordering! Im giving this place a 4 star only because of service, the waitress was kind gave us time and offered great suggestions. In reality the food was not great. It was bland and portion was just smaller than I expected. There is a location in Pasadena and the pasta was seasoned well and balanced and what I feel the portion was much bigger. I do have to assume it's due to the location of this establishment. The ambiance was pretty slow however the inside decorations were so cute and pleasant on the eyes. I wouldn't come here for the food, perhaps a drink and a small app.

We both love it and it is a first choice both just for us and when we have visitors - it is actually walking distance from home but we do often drive. Usually there is street parking available. Shocked that we haven't reviewed before!! The staff is always really welcoming and super friendly. The vibe and ambiance is perfect, you can even sit outside and watch Beverly Hills walk by but we have a favorite table or two indoors. Food selection - we have several favorites but there is truly something for everyone and it never disappoints. Two big thumbs up - not a month will go past without dining here!!

Was street parking but if you want a little something to do and the street parking is all taken up, just park at the Beverly Center and walk back over. It's worth the steps. Service was excellent. The host was very speedy to seat up and it was just before their lunch hour rush. The waitress was super friendly and very helpful in making selections. We wanted to eat light, due to wanting to possibly eat at additional spots in LA/Beverly Hills. They had some super light options but packed full of flavor. Both of our dishes came out quite quick but were both cold items. Would love to try this place again, and see some other options. Overall the building had a renovated 50's look. Dark accents but still very trendy. The bar was very nice looking and would be a great spot to have a couple drinks and people watch, through their giant street facing windows. Price point was great and the food was outstanding. Not much else to go on besides everything checked every box and if we are in the area, we will for sure be heading to Granville for another lunch or dinner. Have a great one and see you at the next spot.
Came for Mother's Day brunch and Granville definitely surpassed my expectations. The service, ambiance, and food were all exceptional, and prices are quite reasonable. I forgot my server's name but that man was such a jolly guy and completed the experience. The restaurant itself looks super nice and aesthetic, and has plentiful seating. They have many great options on the menu - we mainly got salads/brunch items, and they were all good. I would definitely recommend if you're looking to get together with family/friends! I would come back if I was in the area.
Second time dining here. This is just a great spot for food and drinks. I like the casual but trendy setting, perfect spot for a pregaming before going out. Our server Ken was awesome. Had good drink and food recommendations and when they were unable to make a drink was patient with us and helped us find a drink to our liking. All food tasted great. Also has the skirt steak which had good flavor, cooked perfectly. Definitely recommend.
Reviews are largely positive. People enjoy the inviting ambiance, fresh and flavorful food, friendly and attentive service, and well made drinks.

I normally really enjoy Granville, so this visit was a little disappointing. I ordered the steak sandwich, which I've had before, but something about it was just off this time. The steak was very shredded and almost stringy, and it didn't have the texture or overall quality I remember from previous visits. Looking at it, it almost felt more like shredded pot roast than the steak sandwich I was expecting. The flavor wasn't necessarily bad, but the meat and texture completely changed the sandwich for me. The fries were good and I still like Granville overall, but when you order something you've enjoyed before, you definitely notice when it comes out different. Hopefully this was just an off day, because this one unfortunately missed the mark for me. read more

This was our first time dining here, and for those who remember, the building was once home to the classic Jerry's Famous Deli. The space has been completely transformed from the old deli into a beautiful fine casual dining spot. It feels open, warm, and inviting. We were seated under the large skylight, which gave the dining room a bright and comfortable atmosphere. Service throughout our visit was friendly, attentive, and efficient. To start, we shared the char-grilled sourdough with whipped butter and the Brussels sprouts. Both were great, the bread was perfectly toasted and that whipped butter was delicious. For our entrees, I went with the Beef Stroganoff and my wife ordered the Rainbow Trout Fillet. The Stroganoff was rich, hearty, and loaded with flavor. It's definitely a generous portion, so be ready to take some home if you're not extra hungry. The trout was perfectly cooked, well seasoned, and nicely balanced. For cocktails, I had a Paper Plane and my wife had the Tipsy Lemonade, both were well made. Overall, everything we ordered was a hit. Great atmosphere, solid service, and quality food. If I'm in the area again, I'd definitely come back to explore more of the menu. read more
Came by myself after a doctors appointment because I have been craving a hamburger. Their burgers are made with Wagu beef at very respectable prices. And it was cooked to perfection. I am a connoisseur of potato chips and their homemade chips are some of the best I've ever had. I walked in and was seated right away by the hostess. Who sat me down and told me the name of my server who promptly came up to help me. My food was ready in just a few minutes and cooked to perfection. Located directly across from Cedars Sinai you have to assume that at least some of the patrons are either patients or visiting patients. I saw one woman request to see all seating options before she would sit down. The staff could or have been more pleasant and patient with her. The restaurant decor is clean and modern, but not at all uncomfortable. I'm definitely coming back here. read more

We had a wonderful dining experience during DineLA! Granville is a beautiful restaurant with a nice ambiance. Unlike most restaurants everything we tried on the menu was absolutely delicious including the drinks! Casey provided excellent service and we enjoyed his recommendations. Our hostess, Cameron, made us feel welcome right away, and the manager, Jacklyn, came by and made sure we were doing great and added to the warm experience. Our waiter, Victor, was attentive and friendly throughout the meal. The food was excellent--our favorites were the skirt steak and the salmon. The mac and cheese was truly to die for. Went during happy hour on a Thursday and then stayed a few hours because i had lovely company however 1-2 bartenders and things were extremely slow. It was like they barely existed and waited a significant amount of time between ordering. Even had to go up to the bar because no one was coming to my table to take our order. The food and drinks were tasty once arrived. I enjoyed the Gran Fashion and the Uptown Mac n Cheese options most during HH. Prices were good for HH. read more
Had a nice weekend brunch here! My friend and I ordered the Shakshuka, Prime New York Steak & Eggs, a Minted Matcha Iced Latte, and a brunch cocktail. We didn't have a reservation, but since it wasn't too busy, we got seated right away. The restaurant has a nice, modern vibe -- I loved how bright it felt with all the natural light coming in. The staff was friendly and attentive, checking in on us often without being overbearing. Overall, a great spot for a relaxed brunch with good food, drinks, and atmosphere. Came here for dinner on a Friday night with a group of friends. Food, drinks, and service were all excellent. I loved their take on the old fashioned. I recommend the Brussels sprouts and skirt steak. Street parking is available, but you might have to drive around a bit before you find a spot. read more

Granville has been on my bucket list for years at this point, so when a friend was in town and asked to go it was an immediate YES! The restaurant has a clean and modern aesthetic and is perfect for your LA brunch date. They are marketed as New American food and serve a wide variety of options. I've been coming to this location since moving here 9 years ago and it's consistent with incredible food, incredible service and prices that haven't jumped up too much due to inflation. This spot is spacious with tons of seating, and the vibes are elevated casual that can feel fancy due to the good vibes and fancy eats. I thought the ambiance of the place was pleasant and the customer service was even better. Another fantastic meal at Granville!! This is my ninth year of frequenting this fabulous restaurant. It's a lovely location and roomy inside and the staff are so welcoming and friendly.
