My husband, I used to frequent this in Covid - unfortunately, not only has the food gone down and quality. The service also followed. There's a lot on the menu, but there are only a few things that really stand out. Unfortunately not everything is wonderful on the menu. The drinks are 5/10 they are not very generous with them since they are in such small glasses - this was another negative. Overall, this is a mediocre restaurant that tries to help you think they're going over and beyond for you, but they're really not far better places to eat on the west side and this would not be one of them we room set up that makes the ambience not that comfortable. It's great that they're a family or company. I just don't think minor should be making my drinks. For that reason I won't be coming back. read more

Had a nice time at Prospect Gourmand. It's a clear neighborhood spot with the owners/staff knowing many of the customers, but this sometimes impacts other customers. There were definitely times when the waitress was taking our order or answering questions and was distracted when she saw a repeat customer. Nevertheless, the food was good and the drinks were flowing. It's also super cute inside and they can accommodate larger parties upstairs. Parking could get tough depending on time of day, but this spot is worth a try. read more

I understand that there is some limited parking behind the restaurant as well. No Valet. We parked at a metered spot on Wilshire and walked to the restaurant. Venue 5: Well appointed, upscale yet laid-back, cozy and comfortable. Indoor and Outdoor tables. They take reservations on Yelp. Service 5: Chancey is the restaurant manager who also owns the restaurant along with her husband/master chef Isaac. Chancey and Isaac will make sure that your experience is top notch. Drinks 5: Full bar with specialty cocktails, beer, wine, coffee and soft drinks. We had the Chef's Special (bourbon, sweet vermouth, absinthe and black cherry), the Prospect Yuzu Sour (yuzu juice, bourbon, egg white foam, bitters, kaffir lime, red wine), and a Gray Goose Martini. All were excellent and highly recommended. We also had after dinner Cappuccinos that were quite good. Food 5: Modern California cuisine with international influences, emphasizing farm-to-table and local ingredients. We started with the Brussels Sprouts and the Grilled Octopus, and continued with the Truffle Chicken and the Gourmand Burger. All were excellent and highly recommended. The burger is to die for :) Unfortunately we did not have room for dessert but the menu looked really good! They have an assortment of desserts, gelato and coffee, along with after dinner drinks (please see the menu I posted). My partner and I had brunch here today and we were blown away! While my partner isn't usually big on breakfast/brunch food, he loved his meal. We started with the Caesar salad to share, which was fresh and flavorful. I ordered the Egg Benny with salmon, and I can honestly say it had the best hollandaise sauce I've ever tasted. My partner got the Croque Madame and couldn't stop raving about it! What really made the experience stand out, though, was the service. It had been a while since I'd come to Beverly Hills, and I decided to pop in to Prospect Gourmand. They had an amazing weekday lunch special that I couldn't resist: $25 for soup of the day, market salad, choice of four entrées, and choice of iced coffee, iced tea, Arnold Palmer, or lemonade. The soup was gazpacho, which I've never had before. Gazpacho is interesting and unique and delicious. Made with heirloom tomatoes and with just a light amount of heat. I'm not used to a cold soup, but I enjoyed it! Salad with thinly sliced green apples and peaches, red onion, and blue cheese was superb. Korean barbecue chicken sandwich battered with oats was fantastic! Great flavors, lots of pickled onions and pickles and Korean barbecue sauce. Had an Arnold Palmer as my choice of beverage. Fantastic weekday lunch special -- all that for only $25! I added on a scoop of vanilla gelato for only four dollars. Their patio is dog friendly, and very comfortable and shaded. I ordered 2 fish tacos it was crunchy and fresh Perfectly seasoned. But the real star of the show was the chocolate tarte. DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT GETTING THE TARTE! This restaurant is on Robertson Blvd, just north of Wilshire. I noticed it many times when going to my doctor's office, right across the street. I finally tried it for lunch the other day. First let me say that the place is comfortable, with a little patio out front. I liked the art and decorations where they used repurposed items. I ordered two sandwiches (Fried chicken and the Short Rib). Both were good, but both my wife and I did not like the focaccia bread that it was served on. It was too thick and seemed to overpower the sandwiches. We also shared the simple salad, which true to its name was simple. It was just lettuce, and exactly one piece of shaved red onion. It could have used more onion. The other items on the menu look good, so I'm not opposed to trying the restaurant again. read more

Cute little restaurant with an eclectic decor and wonderful food. Parking is available in the alley, but we walked here from a doctor's appointment. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a very gracious and knowledgeable host, Sally. The weather was nice outside on the shaded patio, so we took advantage of the opportunity to sit where we could watch the world go by as we had a leisurely lunch. I ended up going for the lunch special ($25) with the wine upgrade (+$5). The soup was a vegan tomato tortilla soup that was a little too salty for my taste, but my husband loved it. The included market salad was fantastic! When I first saw it, I thought it was too small; but while eating it, I realized it's just the perfect size. My husband ordered a 1/2 order of the Caesar salad (made with kale) and it seemed to be almost double the size of my lunch special salad. We didn't look at the description of the Caesar salad before ordering, so my husband was dissappointed that there was no Romain lettuce. Until he had the first bite. The texture and flavor was good, and my traditional Caesar salad man enjoyed this alternate version. Chancey was our server and she was a hoot! Friendly, fast, informative and considerate, she also kept us laughing. Sally had said the fish and chips were often hailed as better than London--- a bold statement. So of course my husband had to order it. We both have to say~ its reputation is well deserved. My lunch special entree was the grilled salmon, and despite its "Beverly Hills portion size" - I was very satisfied with the taste and amount. In the end, I was full! But there is always room for dessert... And when we saw that they had bananas, foster bread, pudding, one of our top five desserts of all time, we had to order it. We also ordered the vanilla gelato (only $4 dollars for a scoop!). I'm not sure where to start with the bananas fosters bread, pudding. It was a perfect size for the two of us to share. The bread pudding was delicious., the banana with the Bruleed sugar crust was the perfect compliment, and the caramelized tiny banana slices were a very nice touch. Bonus: it had a small scoop of vanilla gelato on top! I have to say this vanilla gelato was superb. Great vanilla taste. Texture and mouth feel was spot on. I also ordered a cappuccino - it had a roasted flavor that I really liked. So what can I say, truly love this place and we'll have to come here every time I'm in the area! Prospect Gourmand is a such a charming place to dine. It's located at the corner of Wilshire and Robertson (right on the corner) Parking is on the street or local parking lots. We were pleasantly greeted by the owner and promptly seated. The food was very fresh, delicious and enough to satisfy our hunger cravings. We ordered the short rib sandwich on focaccia bread, which was delicious, but as read in other reviews the sandwich could benefit from more short rib/cabbage and less bread. This is a beautiful restaurant with a very unique menu. My family and I came for brunch on Sunday and were seating by the very gracious owner. My daughter and I ordered the endless mimosas and were pleasantly impressed when the waitress presented us with a mimosa and proceeded to bring us a chilled champagne bottle in a ice bucket along with a small pitcher of orange juice. Our party loved everything we ordered: the Caesar salad was very hearty, the lobster omelette had a sumptuous amount of lobster, the country style steak was delicious, crunchy, but light and an aromatic hollandaise sauce topped with micro greens and a sunny side up egg was the coup de grace! My husband and I came into night and had, as usual a wonderful meal. The lamb meatballs are a perfect share dish or a small plate meal. The steak is delicious. The chocolate tart was amazing. I am actually responding to someone named Jenny who posted a 1 star review. My husband and I have been dining here for over a year and Chauncey is one of the reasons we return. She and her husband, who is the chef are the owners. All the food is delicious. Chauncey has never been rude to anyone I have ever seen her interact with. This is not Dennys. The food is cooked to order and may take time but never an hour. So, come in, meet Chauncey, or Sally and the regulars who are always here. Have a glass of wine and some delicious yummys from The happy hour menu in the outside dinning area or come inside to the charming decor and dine from The full menu. The place was pretty empty and I originally thought they were closed but once I walked in I noticed two occupied tables. Amazing service! The vibes and energy are just incredible. Everyone was so pleasant and asking how everything was and ensuring I was enjoying myself. I came for a burger but they had happy hour, so I sampled a few items from the menu. The slider was halfway decent on the side that wasn't overcooked, juicy and flavorful. The other half was a bit charred with a thin patty. The caesar salad is not a caesar salad but a spring medley with Kale, carrots, bell peppers, and radish. I'm sure it's usually well received but I prefer a traditional caesar. I also tried the korean fried chicken. Very interesting flavor and texture. If you told me it was vegan soy chicken, I'd believe you. Combining the korean fried chicken and the caesar was a must. Made the right choice for lunch today when I stopped into Prospect Gourmand for an oat fried chicken sandwich. The very kind hostess got me set up with my order and had me in and out faster than you could walk from Saint Laurent to Balenciaga. The dark meat chicken was super tender with a gochujang sauce with the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. I wasn't sure how the oats were going to be but they provided a lovely crunch that didn't feel super heavy for lunch. Food here is excellent and expensive. No one is going to get a bad meal here. The owners are present running this restaurant full-time. They take their food preparation seriously and personally like you are dining at your mother's house. If you complain about something--you may find yourself out of the will! But in return--you are going to get a great dinner here and great service in a homey atmosphere good for romantic dinner, friends dinner, or business meal. We shared braised beef, salmon, veggies and fresh cut fries--all great--best you will have. Just wish I could get into their kitchen and throw away all their salt! They love salt here--so much salt on their in-house cut fries we had to ask for a new batch with no salt. What they don't realize here is that when you are using top quality meats, fish and potatoes like they do--you don't need salt on them. McDonald's needs salt to mask the taste--Gourmand does not need salt. Their ingredients naturally taste great without salt added. When I told the owner her fries were great without salt--she kind of took it personally I could tell, and I am probably out of her will now... This is one of one of my favorite restaurants in the area. It is beautifully decorated, family owned, and perfect for celebrations, date night, friends get togethers, and birthdays! They have the best Fish and Chips I've ever eaten, and probably best fries, period! It's MASSIVE, big enough to share (except I always want my own, hehe!) and tastes phenomenal! I've been here twice for dinner and once for brunch, and so far I have not been disappointed in anything! We went to this restaurant not realizing til a couple days before that they have a pre-fixed menu. I think we would've enjoyed our meal more if we got to pick from their original menu. The truffle butter bread was delicious, I liked how the truffle flavor was very subtle. Chicken croquette was very creamy and yummy as well. Hated the shellfish threesome.. the BBQ prawn just felt random and the flavor of the mussel? clam? was way too salty. The crab cake though was probably our favorite thing that we ate. Beef carpaccio was super light and fresh, the roasted peanuts were a great addition. Duck was too chewy for me, the blackberry sauce was good but I was not a fan of the carrot sauce. Lobster wellington was good but pretty small amount of lobster that was a little overcooked too. The chocolate tart by itself was good but I felt like the dragonfruit was very random and unnecessary, I've never seen dragonfruit with chocolate before and it just didn't complement each other. Panna cotta was good, I liked the textures. Service wasn't the best, a little slow and disorganized. Looked like there was a lot of seating. She was attentive and pleasant the entire time, which really stood out. Unfortunately, our experience with the owner/server was the complete opposite. When we were seated, we were immediately asked if we were on a "crunch time" or had allergies. We said no, just that we needed to leave before 9. We were told we had more than enough time and decided to order from the happy hour menu. After our food was dropped off, no one came back to check on us no "how's everything," no follow-up at all. We placed another order later, and I asked if my sangria could be made a little sweeter. It was taken back and returned, but again, no real engagement or check-in. What really disappointed us was the lack of basic hospitality. We were never told happy hour was ending or had ended, never asked how our food was, and never given the opportunity to order more. Meanwhile, Sally went above and beyondat one point even bringing me multiple rounds of croutons without hesitation. Before leaving, we made sure to thank Sally for being so kind and patient, because she truly deserved it. Bottom line: Amazing food, great atmosphere, and an outstanding hostbut service from management seriously needs improvement. Have not had less than absolutely delicious meals here & I love the pre fixe option to try new plates. The vibes are upscale yet home-like so you feel welcomed. We love it for a weekday date night. The Owners - Chef & Wife (who works her butt off as sever/bartender/you name it) are both so kind and really put their heart and soul into everything - even seasonal decor! Such a hidden Gem! My girlfriends and I came in on a Friday. Service, food, atmosphere.. all amazing! The host and wife of the chef/owner were amazing as well! I had been to this place once before and today was the second and likely the last time for me. I ordered the Gourmand Burger, requested the patty "Well Done". The order took a while to be served, no problem, they surely were busy. After I took the first bite I could see the patty was rare, didn't want to be a Karen so I decided to just eat it, second bite and I realized I was totally wrong before, the patty was not rare, it was "raw" inside, didn't even make it to rare, so I called the lady and showed her the burger, she saw it and agreed with me that the patty was not even rare so she took it back. After less than 5 minutes she is back with my burger, seemed incredibly fast to get a new burger cooked/served but to my big surprise: I got the exact same burger!, only squashed, with my two previous bites in it, it was incredibly disappointing to see that a place like this would do this, only put the patty back on the grill for a couple of extra minutes? and to make things worse: the patty was still raw inside!, at that point I didn't want to say anything anymore because there was no use. The patty was put back on the same grill they are cooking food for other customers, crossed contamination at its finest, thank God I'm healthy but God knows how many diseases you could catch from a simple mistake like this. Any other place would have replaced the dish with a new fresh burger, it's not that I returned the burger half way, just two bites. CERO STARS for this experience, the last one for sure. Delectable, lovely, elegant brunch was had today at Prospect Gourmand! Loved! Sweet gem of a place in Beverly Hills area. So glad we chose this place. No lines, no stress. The dishes was skillfully prepared, made with care. Brunch menu had all sorts of offerings, from ricotta pancakes to burgers to tacos (lobster!) to salads to steak frites. They offer a bottomless mimosa for I believe $20? Great deal. We opted for specialty cocktails, all 3 were terrific. Yuzu Sour was our favorite- amazing! Eggs Benny were delicious, with perfectly poached eggs. Croque Madame was hearty with rustic bread, salty thick country ham blanketed in a savory velvety sauce topped with an egg. A Perfect French omelette looked amazing packed with fresh herbs and Chenel goat cheese. I loved how each served with a beautiful little salad in the French tradition. I came on Friday at 12:30 pm and it wasn't that busy. Service was slow, food took more than one hour to come out. We ordered the $25 lunch menu and chicken sandwich - which in my opinion shouldn't take one hour. The soup tasted like the filling of an apple pie. To me what was the most off putting, was how extremely rude Chauncey was. We said thank you and no response back. She had this attitude to provide us the least amount of service possible. I find it ironic that on their website it states "creating a welcoming environment for every guest.Her kindness radiates throughout their ventures." Anyone who's anyone should definitely check out this place--by that, I mean everyone should try it. This is the greatest restaurant to ever Hit LA! It offers fresh, farm-to-table meals and is owned by a family. The chef is a phenomenal father, while the manager is a mother, and the servers are their kids. Everyone there feels like family, and if you visit often enough, you'll become part of the family too. I hope you get the chance to experience it! I mean everything you could possibly want, from brunch to dinner and lunch. The food is the best in LA, and you're really missing out if you haven't been there yet. The ambiance, the food, and the service are all fantastic! The prices are reasonable compared to many other options in Beverly Hills, and the location is very convenient. Parking is easy to find, I know they have a few spots in the back, but if you can't find them, it's so easy just park right on the street parking available all around. If you're not familiar with the area, it's right next to the Steinway, at the corner of Robertson and Wilshire in Beverly Hills! As far as food recommendations, you could never go wrong just asking them what the chef recommends or what they recommend or just try anything on their menu. You will never be disappointed. Accidentally stopped in during a weekday lunch and very glad I did! I parked way to far from a coffee shop I was planning to work in and saw Prospect Gourmand through their glass walls and decided to ask if they'd be alright if I worked here (and ate) for a little bit. Since it wasn't too busy, they were very kind enough to say yes and give me wifi access so I tucked myself into the corner. Staff from start to finish was really friendly and attentive. Andrew, my server was really great! During lunch they have a $25 special which comes with an iced coffee, choice of soup and salad, and one entree. A really great deal! The soup was a tortilla vegano soup and very tasty. The salad had fresh arugula, almonds, and goat cheese - very light and fresh! For my main, I ordered the steak frites that had this delicious grilled scallion butter on top! The fries were crisp and side salad was the same as the app course. Overall I was really impressed.
