Awesome AYCE Korean BBQ spot! The meat is fresh and high quality, and the service is always great. One of the best parts is that the staff cooks the meat for you so no need to assign someone as the grill master! I love coming here, and the steamed egg is a personal favorite, so soft, fluffy, and comforting (I usually get two for myself). While I usually enjoy Korean soups, I found the tofu and kimchi soups here a bit underwhelming, but honestly, everything else more than makes up for it. Overall, it's a solid go-to for AYCE KBBQ in Queens!

    Beautiful looking lettuce :)

Overall: Would recommend depending on the time of day. They serve you, so I would recommend coming at a time with less people since there are mixed reviews about service during peak hours, but this time their service was AWESOME (best service I've ever had at a restaurant). Everything 5/5, I would come back. Came here with my partner around 1PM on a Saturday for AYCE KBBQ at $43 per adult. Unlike other KBBQ joints, the servers cook for you here. Sorry, not as many pictures as I had hoped for because I got lost in the eating... lol. Ambience: On the outside, store was inconspicuous but on the inside there was quiet K-pop music, lighting was warm/soft, and there were not many people. Food: Sides and appetizers were unlimited. The julienne pickled radish and carrots were amazing. The GF loves cheese steamed egg but I don't eat dairy. I recommend the addicting fried rice cake. There were some dull lettuce leaves but most were vibrant appearing, everything was clean. For meats, we tried to go down the list for beef cuts but got too before we could try everything. We ordered - Thin cut brisket: My favorite cut especially to start with. Thin so it cooks fast, tender, not too fatty. Not marinated so goes well with salt and pepper. - Hanger steak: Not marinated but simple, classic, and great with salt and pepper. Some pieces were tougher than others. - Finger meat: Not a fan, maybe the tendons in the meat made it tough to chew and hard to eat with the lettuce wrap. - Soy marinated short rib: Good. Light sweet marinade that wasn't overpowering and retained the meaty flavor. - Soy marinated beef bulgogi: Decent. Would say the bulgogi definitely absorbed too much sauce and a little on the saltier side which kind of overpowered the natural flavor of the meat. Service: AMAZING, best service I've ever received at a restaurant. The server clearly took pride in his work. Recommended to us where to sit to not get splashed by oils from the grill. He anticipated all of our needs. He saw I was getting garlic out of my GF's plate and brought me a separate massive plate of garlic (I am a glutton). Gave us refills of appetizers and lettuce before we even ran out. Cooked everything for us and was attentive throughout the whole experience.

The food quality and for the price of all you can eat (~$40 pp) is very good! We ordered brisket, short rib, and bulgogi. I will say that the short rib was our favorite and I didn't care for the bulgogi. Our side dishes were also really good-- steamed egg, spicy rice cakes tots. I would not recommend the spicy mixed noodles (bibimbuksu) though. The server was a bit abrupt, but it was fine. Overall, a great experience!

We went around 3 PM and it wasn't too packed, so we got seated immediately. After being situated, we ordered a couple appetizers and they came out quick. Same goes with the meats, they were really quick with everything. I like how they grill it for you. Our server was amazing. He refilled our sauces, got more lettuce, and water when he noticed we were running low. He even got us cream for burns when he noticed that we burned ourselves accidentally. I wish they had more side dishes, but I'm happy with what they had cause they were delicious. Overall, fantastic service and enjoyed the food!

Their food and service really pleased us! The menu kept refreshing with exciting new options that delighted our taste buds, making the meal even more enjoyable. Plus, there was plenty of parking available, which is such a big help, especially when you're in a rush.

I really enjoyed this place, the customer service in this place is phenomenal. We didn't make reservations but we were seated super quick. The place is spacious and great for an intimate dinner or a group of people. The tables are nicely set up and they look very clean. Each table is already set up with all the condiments and spices needed for your meal as well as jars of water with cups . This is an all you can eat place, however, they time your order right so that you can continuously eat without wasting any food which I thought was great! They have one menu at each table and it's super easy to navigate and order. The food came out faster than expected and it was delish! Depending what you order, some meat is seasoned and some is not but all so good! We had a couple of different servers whom kept checking up on us, making sure we had all we needed, kudos for that! The place is a little pricey but it's an all you can eat so you can easily make up for the cost by eating as much as your heart desires and MORE! we walked out of there super stuffed and happy, I will deff be coming back and I highly recommend!

Arrived on a Friday afternoon at 1:00pm and there was nobody so we were seated right away. AYCE lunch for$24.99. The staff also do all the grilling. Kpop music videos were being played on the TV screens so a plus for kpop fans lol Tried the thin cut brisket, thin cut pork belly, pork belly, soy marinated bulgogi, beef belly, and pork rib. All meats were tender and great. The marination was a bit too heavy for my friend and I. Also, upon reading the previous reviews regarding portions, I had asked them to give us half the portion size so that we can get various types of meat which was good because we didn't want to over order and waste. Liked the three options of sauces we got which were mixed salt, samjang, and a miso sauce? The ban chan was a bit lacking though with just kimchi, pickled radish, pickled fish cake with onions and pepper. Wish I had the stomach to try other things!

I betrayed 02 bbq and came here on a friends request. Good place. Didn't like the music. Stay was attentive and they actually helped us with the Korean barbecue. Most places don't help you cutting and cook, but they did which was very nice. Menu was really good, large portions. What makes this place unique as they have a very nice all you can eat appetizers and appetizers are pretty awesome. Also the brown sauce , must try. No complaints all good definitely come here . A lot of parking it's next to a very nice café. Superrr

    Marinated beef short ribs.

Service was fast and the employees there were polite. The restaurant was playing good upbeat music. The sides were pretty good. We had eggs, cold noodles, and bbq boneless chicken. The marinated short ribs had good flavor but the meat was tough and chewy. The brisket was good but there was so many fatty pieces. I also had the thin sliced pork belly and that was ok but we also got very full and had to stop eating. All in all, it was a good ayce experience with good service.

Four visits since January, and I STILL drag everyone here when they crave KBBQ. Once you try it, you'll understand why. Easy street parking on Union, or just use the shared Hmart lot (no, your car won't vanish--I pinky promise). Vibe is modern, lively, and they play the best mix (TikTok bops, K-pop/K-rap, 2000s throwbacks... chef's kiss). The staff? Warm and welcoming--shoutout to Matthew for keeping us laughing. Price is $40/person for THIS AYCE? Worth. Every. Penny. Now for the Food - Meat: Skip the chicken (why??) and go for beef, pork, or duck. - Banchan: Their "just soy sauce & mayo" secret sauce is crack. My boyfriend asked for a whole bowl. Sell it in jars, PLEASE. - Apps: Solid, but save room for the main event. Verdict: 10/10 vibes, 10/10 flavors, 10/10 memories. This place isn't just a meal--it's a whole mood. See you at our next meat coma! P.S. wanna give your waiter a little extra love? Cash tips are king, just hand it to them directly without anyone else noticing (they have to share everything) .

Hey guys is it halal ? Because it does pop up as a halal restaurant here . Just wanna let you guys know.

I doubt it. I never saw any designation there saying that they were.

Is this place good for a larger group up people?

Yes, but call the restaurant to make sure they can accommodate you because it does get busy

Is this place halal, if not could you tell Yelp to remove you from the halal list, it's misleading?

Hi Raisa Thanks for letting us know that we pop up on yelp's halal list. After checking our settings, it shows our halal highlight has not been turned off. Could you let us know where you found halal option on our page? Thank you

Now that a lot of the mandates are lifted, do we still need vaccination cards to eat here? Are they required if we sit outside?

For any outside dining, vaccination cards were not required. For Indoor each place can still choose to check but most places do not require now that they canceled the Key to NYC mandates. *** Right now Meat Me is temp closed due to a gas line issue.… Read more

Hi, my partner and I will have both doses by the time we are visiting, but it won't have been the full 14 days by then. Can we still eat here?

    Are reservations required?

    Are you open?

As I answer you today in May 2021, yes, Meat Me BBQ is open for both indoor and outdoor dining. Hope that helps.

Do they grill the meat for you in the indoor seating?

There is currently no indoor dining as they use all the indoor cooking space to grill the meat for the outdoor diners.

Are all of the meats cooked on one station, or are there separate stations for different kinds of meat?

We have two grill stations inside because different cuts of meat require different heat settings and surface material. The open flame grill and the cast iron lid (traditional material used to cook Korean BBQ) is switched out and cleaned with each… Read more

We ended up ordering the Kimchi Pancake with seafood, the spicy bulkoki udon and the jeyuk udon. The kimchi seafood pancake was super crispy and filled with squid and shrimp! It also came with a semi sweet dipping sauce that paired nicely. Both udons came out piping hot and fresh! Udon had a nice chew to it, was loaded with vegetables as well as meat for each dish. The egg was fried and did not have a runny yolk. For sides, they gave us 4 things- a tomato salad, kimchi cucumbers, braised string beans, and bean sprouts. The tomato salad came in this cute apple shaped dish but neither of us really cared for it- this is completely biased though since we're not really fans of tomato. What we really did love was the kimchi cucumbers! Also at the end, they served us 3 pieces of cantaloupe which were very sweet. Overall, yummy food, cute shop, and friendly/nice staff! I felt bad for our waitress she was so busy with fulfilling takeouts + dine ins and the dishes require a lot of servicing table side. She couldn't catch 1 second of break :( Food wise, we got their 2 person combo of spicy pork gamja tang and spicy rice cake which came with the steamed egg. Everything was so good, egg was extra fluffy, rice cake was delicious and the meat came right off the bones. They take a good variety of side dishes. My partner wasn't a fan of the gamja tang but due to feeling it's a hassle to eat meat with bones, so those who fee sim may agree. We also asked for the fried rice after we finished the gamja tang, for 2 servings I think it was $4.75 or something. I really enjoyed it but I guess I like scorched rice, also something my partner doesn't enjoy so those we feel sim just note. Environment feels very old school, well worn. Feels cozy. It can get loud very quickly on a Saturday night as this place seems to be a hit for large parties. Since the wait staff is short handed, expect a bit of a wait for things. The inside is casual,…read moreand our waitress, Jane, was extremely friendly and helpful from refilling banchan to cooking meats and otherwise. A couple of us shared a $13 bottle of the green grape flavor of Chum Churum, a soju. In terms of banchan, there was a bunch. Everyone got a cold and refreshing cabbage soup as well as a very tasty version of Braised Tofu/Dubu-jorim/두부조림. Once we ordered, we also got a bunch of other banchan, including cabbage, radish, and cucumber Kimchi, broccoli and cauliflower Namul, Marinated Mushrooms/Beoseot Bokkeum/버섯볶음, Anchovies With Peanuts/Myeolchi Bokkeum/멸치볶음, and Potato/Gamja Salad/감자샐러드. One of the other things brought out was a pretty tasty version of Raw Soy Sauce Marinated Crab/Ganjang-Gejang/간장게장. Most of these were refillable. The first actual thing that arrived was something that I can't eat, the $22.99 Seafood Pancake/Haemul Pajeon/해물파전. I have a cephalopod allergy, or in other words, anything with tentacles, so I avoid squid and octopus, and seafood pancakes always contain one of those two. Everyone else enjoyed it, though. The pajeon I could eat was the Kimchi Jeon/김치전 for a dollar less. It was pretty tasty, though I prefer other spots that had a bit more of a crisp. Next was one of their signatures, the grilled duck. Going from online reviews, we went with the non-spicy version, as people prefer it, as the spicier marinade overpowers the duck. This was the $29.99 Sang Ori Gui/생오리구이. The sliced duck was on a hot, sizzling plate, with there also being a lot of grilled onions and scallions. The duck had a mix of pieces, ranging from fatty to less so, and had a nice mix of textures. This was easily one of my favorites, though I liked it even more when paired with the ssamjang that arrived with the BBQ, as the sauce balanced the light fattiness. Arriving at a similar time was the last thing I couldn't eat, the Spicy Stir-Fried Baby Octopus on Iron Plate/Jjukkumi Cheolpan Bokkeu/철판쭈꾸비볶음, for $30.99. I couldn't try the octopus, but the portion was plentiful, and I had a bit of the noodles on the bottom after making sure there were no tentacles, as well as trying the sauce. The sauce was tasty, spicy, and very flavorful. We went with two of the Korean BBQ meats, one beef and one pork. My preference of the two was surprisingly the $49.99 Charcoal Grilled Marinated Beef Ribs/Yangnyeom Galbi/양념갈비. This also came with two veggies: kabocha squash and asparagus. The beef was extremely tender, had the perfect mix of fat and meat, and had only a light sweetness from the marinade. This was absolutely delicious and very much worth the price point. Also tasty was the Grilled Pork Belly/Samgyeopsal/삼겹살, for $36.95. This also came with a few things, including cabbage and a large mushroom. The pork belly was delicious, being just fatty enough and very tender as well, with a mild chew. The BBQ came with a few extra side dishes. This included a tasty steamed egg/Gyeran-jjim/계란찜, greens, an onion salad, ssamjang, salt, and a small boiling pot of soybean stew/doenjang jjigae. They were all tasty, though nothing particularly notable outside of the portions being generous. Also, at the end of the meal, they gave us some sujeonggwa. Not much for me to complain about this place. The food was very tasty overall, and the service was wonderful. I would go back and order a full beef BBQ set.

You would think we would order Chinese food but we ended up here. No regrets though. We ordered the pork bbq and it was delicious, presentation was good along with the banchan side dishes. In addition, I also received the gaejang (marinated raw crab) which was a nice touch. We also ordered the daegi gukbap (pork soup with rice), a comfort dish and kimchi pancake which was really tasty. Our server was good. We arrived past the busier lunch hourso this was a pleasant non-hurried experience.
