AYCE KBBQ is really all over the place now in Flushing but this place might be the best in terms of selection and quality. They've pretty much got every cut of meat you'd want and the menu easily has about 20 plus choices to try. Favorites here were the brisket and kalbi and their spicy chicken is seriously no joke, eat at your own risk. What set this place apart for me was the quality of their steam egg - it was fluffy and I would've paid extra for it (as it stands its included with the meal). Service is great - they cook the meats for you so you don't have to lift a finger and the staff here is super attentive and responsive. Seating might be a tad less than some other AYCE KBBQ spots in the area so make sure you come early. Hats off to the "outdoor dining" scene - it's air conditioned and insulated so less bugs and more room to enjoy the best thing on the menu- HANGER STEAK! If you order a bunch at a time, different meats will come from different plates/stations and I LOVE IT. I was skeptical at first because it goes against the grill in your face KBBQ experience BUT: 1) it's so much easier to share if you just pass the plate around, it tastes just as good coming off the grill in 3 seconds as it does in 2 minutes, I promise 2) no racing the clock to eat anything that'll get burned or before they dump the next meat on 3) no awkward pause in group convos when your waitress comes by to check the active grill on your table 4) depending on how many people are dining around you, there's a chance you might be able to leave the restaurant not smelling like 10 levels of BBQ And you know what, even at the BBQ joints where the waiter babysits your grill for you - I've never been to a spot that had such an active and attentive staff refilling water/salads/banchans the way this group did. When I went, this place was fairly new, and there were already a ton of people lining up for this place. Thankfully we didn't have to wait too long as a table was opening up just as we were getting there. To be honest, the vibes are really great (it makes me want to come back) but the quality of the meats are not which is really sad. I really wanted to like this place. We were all having fun, especially with the pitcher of soju cocktail we got, until we got to the meats. The marinated meats have this indescribable crumbly texture that is just not pleasant at all. Recently though, it feels like the customer service has been declining. Today I attended and any time I asked for an item, it definitely felt like my requests were bothersome. To me, this place was a hidden gem. Me and my KBBQ friends have visited this place several times in the past few months and have had a great experience each time. Month after month the place gets a little bit busier (not so hidden anymore haha) yet the quality continues to be top notch. The brisket and thin cut pork belly are must haves and the deep fried pork jowl is surprisingly quite tasty as well. As far as the marinated side goes, the beef belly is for sure the best one in my opinion! Whenever me and my KBBQ friends visit, the servers and staff are always kind and on top of everything. The sauces they make on site (the middle one in particular) is just a perfect pairing with the meat and im always having to ask for more. Definitely come on down and give this wonderful AYCE KBBQ a try and hopefully you have a great experience! Went here for the first time to celebrate my birthday a few weeks ago and I fell in love. It's a bit of a way's drive for me but so worth it. There's a car park in the back as an FYI for my fellow drivers. My visit was in October so it wasn't that chilly yet outside but they put a heat lamp near our table nonetheless. Our waitress was super nice and checked up on us a good amount and was attentive to our glasses and refill needs. Everyone was just overall friendly and approachable. The meat was great quality, I'm usually very picky about it and it can really make or break the bbq experience but I'm happy to report that this place serves high quality food. Banchan sides were delicious too! I usually don't care to rate a place's banchan too much since I'm not big on eating the sides but they had a good selection in my opinion because I ate most of the banchan this time around. Due to covid, and the fact that it's outdoor seating, all of the actually grilling happens inside so you won't be able to capture that IG worthy boomerang of the sizzling meat. I mean it arrives to your table still sizzling but you know what I mean! You've got your dipping sauces, kimchi, rice and lettuce to mix and match with your meat selections. Also for those interested, customers can use the bathroom and you just have to pop inside the restaurant (mask on of course) to use it. AYCE Korean bbq, $30/person plus stellar customer service makes this my new favorite restaurant!!! I've been to a lot of AYCE KBBQ places (O2 BBQ, Cast Iron, Picnic Garden, Let's Meat, etc.) but this place really outshines the rest in the quality of the meat and the quality of service. I'm really surprised there aren't more reviews about this place! My family and I came here to outdoor dine on a Saturday night and we didn't have to wait for a table. This is an AYCE KBBQ spot, $30/pp. There isn't a huge selection but they have the basic meats: pork belly, top blade steak, bulgolgi, short ribs. They give you a variety of side dishes and house sauces to dip the meats into, which I appreciated. The orders came out fast and looked really presentable. Our favorite was the short ribs for sure but everything was overall delicious. We weren't too crazy about the stews and steamed egg as we've had better at other spots but we came to eat the meat anyway. Shoutout to the customer service! They made our experience so much better. Someone was always there to fill up our water and the waiters were very attentive. If you check in, you can get a free soda. I'm so glad my friend Andie E. found this place because I've been craving for Korean BBQ for quite sometime. What's great about this restaurant is that it's an AYCE so for all meat eaters out there, this place is like a dream come true. Because of COVID, we didn't get the joy of cooking our own meat. They will do that for you and will bring it out so my suggestion is to not order too much at once or else the meat will get cold fast. As for selection, it's not bad. The only thing I wish they did have on their list is kalbi with bone. The boneless one was okay, but not the same. I also love all their side banchan. It was very flavorful and fresh. Definitely order their steam egg too. It really warm me up and the egg was fluffy and pipping hot. As for service, I enjoyed it. Everyone was very friendly and kept on checking up on us to see if we wanted to place more orders. That's a definite plus. They also space the table out far enough that it made dining feel safe. Prices aren't too bad it's all you can eat for $37.99 and with that you get as many meat as you can stomach as well as some of the most incredible steamed egg I've ever had they offer three variations to regular cheese and mushroom the meat itself is pretty decent quality and better than some of the other all you can eat buffets this type of restaurant they let you order off the menu and bring you the meat to your table. They also will cook it for you and serve it to you guys as well as side dishes are very good such as the cold noodles, the dumplings, and everything else that you see on the menu such as the fried crispy chicken some of the more notable meats are the short ribs, which are delicious, the hanger steak, which is also very good, the pork bacon/belly is really good as well. I went here a few weeks ago and I was impressed. I thought my lunch here was great, I thought the quality of the meat was better than any other ayce kkbq spot in the area, I also thought the service was very attentive. Overall, I think this is one of the top, if not the top, ayce kbbq in Flushing. The food: Pork Jowl- Loved the crust, it had such a nice crunch then nice tender fatty meat. But the one thing that will be off putting for some, there is a gaminess to the pork that some won't like. I didn't mind it but I could see how some people would have issues with it. Pork Shoulder- This was so juicy and tender, it was a really good piece of pork, I would say this was my second fav item behind the jowl. Soy Marinated Short Ribs- I thought this was pretty good, I enjoyed the flavor and the tenderness was pretty decent. Soy Marinated Beef Belly- I enjoyed this but it really felt like marinated brisket. Steamed Egg- I thought the steam egg was just OK. I felt it was a bit overcooked and it was a bit too spongey. Kimchi Stew- I thought the flavor of this was good, I would get this again. All the meat was tender and delicious but my favorite would be the pork jowl. Something about the crispiness of the outside combined with the "crunchy" texture of the meat was really nice. If you like to cook your own meats unfortunately, this is not the place as the servers do it for you but they do it very well! They were really attentive and friendly. If you're looking for a side and like eggs, try their steamed eggs! It was so fluffy and they also have a cheese version. If not, theres so much more to choose from! I would skip on the cold noodles though as they were a bit on the sweeter side. Although drinks were a separate charge, I feel like soju/beer pairs really well with Kbbq. I couldn't decide on a singular drink and I'm a sucker for sweet alcoholic drinks so I decided to get both the orange crush and green grape floatie. Both were really good with a hint of soju and I would definitely get it again! This was our first time here and the outdoor seating was pretty decorated with lights and flowers. It was a saturday evening and as soon as we got there, we were seated and ordered. It's an all you can korean Bbq place , which was $29.99/per person. We got our banchans and after few minutes, our food started comming out. The meats were cooked perfectly to my liking. We got bulgogi which i didn't order, but we ate it anyway, we also got marinated beef, pork belly and pork steak. Kimchi jiggae was okay for me. The servers were nice and checked every few minutes if we need anything. At the end they gave us free drinks. If you checked in through yelp, you will recieve a free soda too. This is a relatively new AYCE BBQ location tucked deeper into Flushing (right next to the HMART). The outdoor seating was nice and spacious, so we were quite far away from the other guests. We came at 7 pm on Saturday, and it was not too busy. Food was cooked indoors and brought outside really quickly. There were 9 options for meats and these were the beef brisket, top blade steak, marinated short rib, bulgogi, pork belly, thin cut pork belly, marinated pork belly, and pork steak. We tried everything but the pork steak and bulgogi, and they were all delicious! My favorites are the beef brisket, which was thinly sliced and a little crispy, and the thick cut pork belly. The marinated ones were good too, but I prefer just dipping my meats in salt. The steamed egg and kimchi stew were also really good. I highly recommend trying everything as you can't really go wrong here. Overall, you can't go wrong with $29.99 AYCE. Total came out to ~$40 per person after tip/tax. This is definitely one of the better KBBQ places I've been to (I've been to A LOT), and quality is not sacrificed for value. This is one of my favorite Korean bbq places ever! I discovered this place recently on Yelp and have gone back a couple of times since. This place is all you can eat. It's not in the main part of Flushing so you don't get the crowd. I have been lucky that I didn't have to wait for too long every time I've been here. I like the price point of this place. The all you can eat menu is pretty vast. You get a good selection of pork, beef, and chicken. You can also order some appetizers, soups, cold noodle, rice and steamed egg, They use a cast iron grill to make the meat. The servers prepare and cook the meats for you so you can focus on eating! My favorites to order are brisket, marinated short rib, pork belly, pork jowl, spicy pork belly, steamed egg, cold noodle, and spicy tofu stew. You can order 3 orders of meat at a time. At first, I was hesitant about the all-you-can-eat price tag; that was easily dispelled when the side dishes came out and the food started grilling. Just the smell alone made me start salivating... My party of 13 made reservations a week in advance for our friends birthday. We were seated at two tables next to eachother. One table had 2 grills and one used only 1 grill. Our server was Minseok, he was awesome and good vibes. He was a expert at cooking between 3 grills at the 2 tables. He also made sure we got all our food orders , drinks , and everything in between. Onto the food.. Get the steamed egg, with mushrooms, cheese, it was so good I ordered it three times. Kimchi stew also hit the spot and I got it twice. Decided to give this place a try in hopes of potentially expanding my list of AYCE restaurants to get my kbbq fix. Absolutely starving, we shamelessly ordered all of the sides. Things I would recommend are the stews, the steamed egg, and the cold noodles were also pretty refreshing. I heard good things about the tater tots but they were pretty underwhelming. Cold and just meh, not worth the stomach room. Be sure not to dress nicely because the tables are so tight and splattering seemed extra apparent here. Our waiter was also kinda clumsy with the cooking - at one point he dropped a piece of steak into the bowl that all the oil pours into, splattering hot meat oil all over my boyfriend's face and pants. Not only did he not apologize, he lifelessly grabbed the steak that was dripping in oil and shuffled it back onto the grill with the other meat. The pork belly is usually my favorite thing to get at kbbq but their pork belly was fatty even for me that I couldn't stomach more than a few pieces without feeling kinda gross. He also let the grill get wayyy too hot that our pork belly was half black! We got two rounds of meat and it was more than enough, maybe because everything was so oily/charred with only one grill change throughout the whole meal. The only thing that was really good was the short rib and the peach Milky Way pitcher. Overall, the food wasn't bad, but there are def other AYCE kbbq spots that I'd rather enjoy and this one did not make the cut. read more
