Finally got the chance to try this place out. I had passed this place earlier in the afternoon but saw that the outside seating was packed so decided to come back later. So when I came back right before they closing, they had already ran out of their signature porchetta sandwich. So when I ordered, I had to look for an alternative and I was not disappointed. They had a beef asado sandwich on special which had braised beef with a chimchurri sauce. I placed an ordered and it took a few minutes to prepare. The sandwich was delicious packed with flavor and the chimichurri balanced the richness. The bread was perfect too with a nice crunch that absorbed all the juices from the meat and chimichurri dressing. Everything was beautifully presented in a wooden board with two dollops of sauce a spicy red sauce and a tangy mustard. I used both of these sauces on my sandwich. I quickly gobbled up this sandwich and I found the portion to be perfect as I was hungry and hadn't eaten all day. New sandwich shop in downtown Austin straight out of Canada! If your anything like me I'm always on the hunt for a really good sandwich shop as it's hard to come by so was super pumped to check this place out and boy they sure didn't disappoint. I went with the porchetta sandwich because what's better then pork? I placed an online order so luckily I got there early to see them in action making the sandwich which is probably just as good to watch as it was to eat! Great packaging which I'm always a fan of and the staff were super friendly and welcoming when I picked up my order. If your not into pork the guy making my sandwich recommend and of the grilled cheeses or the meatball one. Only downside I could think of here was parking is a challenge like most places downtown but hopefully that doesn't stop you from checking this place out at least once. read more

What's the price for the best sandwich of your life? Apparently $12.50 My wife had the porchetta and I had the meatball sandwich, both of which were the best we've ever had. The tomato soup was also incredible, fresh tomato flavor, lack of sugar, just the perfect soup on a Winter day in Austin. The only downsides are that parking is pretty tough, and indoor seating only has room for about 10 people. We'll definitely be back, just an incredible sandwich! read more

Simply awesome. I got there right when they opened and had to wait a couple extra minutes for the porchetta to be ready, but it was well worth it. It was juicy, tender, flavorful, and the crispy pork cracklings put the whole thing over the top. The salsa verde seems to be is herb-based (not tomatillo-based like a Mexican style salsa verde) and it goes perfectly with the meat. The sambal and unique mustard served on the side for dipping are great compliments to everything else. The bread deserves praise too, all the delicious ingredients in the world won't make a good sandwich if the bread isn't on point and this ciabatta was maybe my favorite part of the whole thing. Checked this spot out while in Austin for a week. This was one of my favorite lunch spots, and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the sandwiches are. They have a small menu, but each sandwich we tried had great flavors, and added touches to make a good sandwich. We went with the porchetta and buffalo chicken. I loved both sandwiches. The salad was OK, I think I'll do fries or another sandwich next time lol. The bread was crunchy but not too hard, and the meat in the porchetta was tender and juicy. A great little sandwich, salad & soup spot that offers a kick of flavors! We tried the porchetta (I had never heard of it) per a suggestion from the staff, as well as the meatball sandwich. The porchetta sandwich was so different and delicious. There were little pork-rind kind of crispies on it with a salsa verde sauce. 11 outa 10 in my opinion!
