We loved our dinner here with friends. It is a very cozy environment. The friend green tomatoes are a must! They service was fabulous as well, our waitress was very attentive and reviewed the specials in detail. We will definitely be back - excellent wine options!

You can spend $300 on a dress or everything on the menu including a generous tip and dessert! Food you CANNOT REPLICATE OR ATTEMPT TO MAKE AT HOME. A favorite feature of mine. And service that is worth a Gold star for bringing it to the next level. We love eating upstairs but downstairs is just as nice! I'm hoping they will always be here because this is our favorite! Best chicken I have ever had... to this day. And I NEVER order chicken because it's usually dry, not at The Farm. We also LOVE THEIR MOCKTAILS! Service was good-our waitress was very busy but was attentive to us. The food was really good! The Half Portion of Lobster was amazing and fresh. We had the S'mores for dessert which was super fun! Never seen a dessert presentation like that. We also had Cheese take which was amazing. I was super excited about the specials between 330 and five. I got a 4 ounce filet mignon Oscar style with crab on top, fresh mashed potatoes, and delicious asparagus with hollandaise. For $25 I got the filet mignon dinner, soup or salad of choice and a soda. Great deal! The only reason I gave it four stars was because it had a very strong smell of bad seafood. I'm not sure why but everything was spot on otherwise! You've got to give it a try.

Their menu is extensive with plenty of domestic and imported wines, craft beer and creative cocktails to pair with your meal. I opted for the Soup, Salad and biscuit "Nectar Combo" with She Crab Bisque, their Nectar Salad and a sweet potato biscuit. The Nectar salad has thick cut bacon, cucumber, blistered tomatoes, blue cheese, topped with toasted almonds served with their tomato vinaigrette. It had fresh mixed greens and was very good! The She Crab Bisque was flavorful but very thick - not actually a bisque texture. Backing off the thickening ingredient of their bisque would improve this soup. Lastly, I changed my original choice of Seafood Omelette once I found out their shrimp is brought in from Louisiana. I do not understand having access to fresh shrimp daily in this coastal area just off the Atlantic Ocean and opting to serve frozen, trucked in shrimp. I guess to comes down to profit? I was glad I asked my waitress, and I appreciate her checking and giving me an honest response. I'll return, but I certainly won't be ordering their shrimp unless they change their supplier to one of the local businesses.

It doesn't feel corporate or manufactured at all. More like you've stumbled into somebody's lovingly chaotic backyard dinner party where the food just happens to be genuinely top-tier. The mismatched charm, handwritten feel, and warm atmosphere are part of what makes it so special. There's this brilliant contrast between the laid-back hole-in-the-wall vibe and the seriously refined cooking coming out of the kitchen. We started with the fried green tomatoes which were incredibly tender, fried perfectly, and drizzled with a lovely house-made ranch. The sweet house pickles alongside were such a good touch. We also each had a cup of she crab soup which was beautifully seasoned and packed with tonnes of crab morsels. For mains, we shared the shrimp and grits and completely understood why the recipe has won awards, including being recognised as the 3rd best in the world. The recipe is rooted in traditional Lowcountry cooking but elevated with layers of flavour that somehow still feel comforting and homemade. The grits were unbelievably creamy, and the shrimp and sausage were perfectly cooked with fantastic flavour throughout. We also split the seafood purloo with blackened grouper, and it was equally impressive. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted incredibly fresh without trying too hard to be fancy. What really made the experience though was the staff. Everyone went above and beyond. They took time to chat with us about the area, paced the courses perfectly so nothing felt rushed, and by the end we were leaving with handshakes feeling more like guests than customers. Places like this are getting harder to find. We'll absolutely be back and would recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Lowcountry food served by genuinely wonderful people.

Was expecting…read moreto be blown awhile, but unfortunately, my family and I left thinking the food here was just okay. Started off with the May River Blue Crab Dinner, which came packed with crab! This was good - warm, creamy, and slightly cheesy. It came with tortilla chips and pita bread - tasted better with the tortilla chips IMO. We all decided to share the potato chip meatloaf sandwich, low country boil (for 1), and seafood parlor (with blackened fish). Overall, all these entrees were just okay. The meatloaf was too mashed for my liking and had decent flavor. It was essentially a large chunk of meat sandwich between two slices of thin pita bread. The seafood parlor was good, and came with a decent amount of shrimp, sausage, and blackened fish. The red rice was slightly overcooked, but all the protein was cooked nicely. I could have done without the sweet chili sauce. The low country boil was plenty for 1 or to share. Service was good, especially with the restaurant being constantly busy.

The food is always top-tier, whether it's their appetizers or salads, or a variety of sandwiches and sides, I've always come away happy and full, and usually with leftovers for lunch the next day. The staff members are always warm and inviting, and the restaurant has a laid-back feel to it for being in such a prominent location in the village of Palmetto Bluff. I like to take a stroll down the community dock after eating to hang out and enjoy the view before heading home. My personal favorites are the spinach and artichoke dip, the Caesar salad, and the double double cheeseburger. The burger is one of the best I've ever had--and I don't say that lightly!

The setting is peaceful, the views are lovely, and Palmetto Bluff itself is gorgeous. That part of the experience was excellent. Unfortunately, almost everything else fell short. The food was average at best. The appetizers were clearly the strongest part of the meal; once the entrees arrived, things leveled off into "fine but nothing special." For the price point, average isn't good enough. Service was the real problem. Our waitress repeatedly forgot about our table. Menus were still sitting on the table when the appetizers arrived. Water glasses sat empty for long stretches. No one cleared plates, so we eventually started stacking and clearing the table ourselves. When staff finally checked on us and we asked for refills, they charged for the kids' second Cokes. That felt particularly nickel-and-dime after the neglect. When you're spending around $300, you shouldn't have to bus your own table or chase basic refills. The wait staff left a strongly negative impression. Bottom line: Come for the beautiful Palmetto Bluff setting and the appetizers. Temper expectations on the rest of the food and especially the service. The ambiance is hard to beat, but the overall experience didn't match the price or the location.
