My friends and I came here while staying at Warwick Hotel to start our night out with a cocktail before heading out for a night on the town. Place was pretty empty. They serve food as well. Our bartender was nice and really made our drinks strong, which we appreciated. He chatted us up and gave some recommendations for the area. We had drink tickets, so our drinks we luckily comped. It was an easy first stop. But check out the other bars in the neighborhood too.

Went to Margaux because it was connected to the hotel and we really didn't feel like walking anywhere. Customer service was great. Everyone was soooo friendly. The restaurants looks like an older dim restaurant for an older crown. The food was basic. The French onion soup was good , the bolenese was good but definitely lacked a lot of flavor. Again I think because they are used to only having older customers. We also paid $50 for a steak that ... looked like it was $25 Would I come back... no but if you are staying on the Warwick hotel ... does it do the job.. yes definitely

We ate breakfast every day during our 4 day trip. The food was very good tasting. The executive chef came out to meet us and get feedback on the food quality. Took constructive criticism very well, and very proactive to adjust the menu. We did dinner one night here and I thought the chowder was excellent, the salmon cooked excellent, and was visited by the executive chef again at our table. Would recommend everyone staying at the Warwick to eat here, they wouldn't regret it!!

Whipped feta and wings

Staying at the hotel saw that they had a happy hour, decided to grab a drink before our dinner reservation. We had wing appetizers and whipped feta and a few drinks. The bartender was friendly and the chef came out to ask us how we liked our appetizers. The ambiance was welcoming.

Fish and Chips

The fish and chips were surprisingly one of the best I've ever had, and the server, Demetria, was very patient and friendly! Overall a great experience

We were staying at the Warwick and I have to say don't waste your time. All we had was a glass of water after waiting 45 minutes we left. It's a little over priced according to the menu and the hotel staff agreed. There were people working and our server kept walking by our table but never took our order. We really would have liked to try some of their food. They have a happy hour 4-7 but we left very unhappy! As we walked out the lady at the desk just said sorry

Pasta carbonara and the Margaux club sandwich

Tbh idk how this place got this much hate cause our experience was more than solid. Our server Paolo took care of us well and were sat immediately despite being in the middle of dinner rush time. Food came out fast and the portions were huge. The berry portion of the club hit different and made it all worth it. Probably wouldn't have been able to finish the single dish by itself so glad I had the Mrs to half with. The carbonara was amazing as well and for most places we go to skimping out of the proteins the dish was stacked with chicken and mushrooms. For desert we had the raspberry chocolate lava cake and never has a cake like that been so fluffy and just melty as this. As a berry Man U really have to nail the flavor bending and this had it in spades. Definitely a return for me when I come back to town.

Breakfast. House made corned beef has good flavor but WAY too fatty. Hubby enjoyed salmon scramble. Disappointing coffee, esp for Seattle

From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere captures you: modern décor, intimate lighting, and a warm vibe that feels both upscale and inviting. Everything is immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. If you're a bourbon lover, this place is paradise. Their collection is incredible, but what truly sets them apart is the service. The Bourbon Curators, Ms. Hannah and Mr. Tommy, along with our amazing waitress Ms. Sassy, make you feel like a VIP from start to finish. They welcome you with open arms and create a personalized bourbon journey -- teaching you about flavor profiles, history, and how to discover different palettes you never knew you had. It's not just a drink menu... it's an experience. And the food? Michelin-worthy. We shared the Autumn Chicory Salad and the homemade Autumn Mushroom Pasta -- both beautifully crafted, rich in flavor, and perfectly paired with the bourbon experience. Every bite showed off the kitchen's talent and passion. We were actually recommended this restaurant by strangers we met at the Seattle Space Needle -- and wow, did they steer us right. The Ballard's Cut surpassed every expectation. If you love bourbon, phenomenal food, and top-tier service from people who treat you like family, then this is the place. Do not miss it.

I genuinely don't know what to do with that explanation. The food took so long. I ordered my steak medium rare and it arrived overcooked. I thought this was a steakhouse and yall can't even cook a steak medium rare? One person in our party never received their salad despite asking multiple times. Their stupid steak dish is $50 entree with zero sides. I added cauliflower for an extra $17 charge and received something I could have made in five minutes. Finally, we tried to order dessert and were told they were out of the item we all wanted. This place is a ripoff with terrible service.

The space has a warm, modern-industrial vibe, wood floors, soft lighting, exposed ceilings, and thoughtful decorative touches. It's intimate without feeling cramped, and the open kitchen adds a nice energy. Our server was incredibly personable and professional, striking that perfect balance of friendly and knowledgeable. We did the American Omakase. We started with a trio of entry snacks: smoked anchovies, prosciutto with watermelon, and fresh focaccia. The anchovies were punchy and vibrant, definitely for fans of big flavor. The prosciutto and watermelon were refreshing, and the focaccia tasted like it came straight from a great neighborhood bakery. Course 1: Amberjack Crudo Fresh, clean, and beautifully balanced. The tomato compote and rolled vegetables paired so well together, and the flakes of salt on top really opened up the flavor of the fish. Course 2: Diver Maine Scallop Hands down one of the highlights of the night. The scallop was paired with breadcrumbs, oyster mushrooms, and a miso sauce that made the whole dish feel warm, savory, and almost Thanksgiving-like in its comfort. VERY good. Course 3: Pork Belly Served with carrot puree, apple "sauce", and leeks. The pork belly itself was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the sweetness of the apple paired perfectly. The leeks were a surprise standout. Course 4: Lamb Rich, moist, and deeply seasoned, with a lovely rub. The artichoke hearts added such a sharp, earthy contrast that it legit gave me goosebumps. The potato purée and jus tied everything together. Course 5, Dessert: Chocolate something (oops it was like a mousse) with Poached Pears & Raspberry Creamy, balanced, and not overly sweet. A perfect finish. Overall, Violet delivered a thoughtful, memorable meal with impeccable pacing and standout dishes from start to finish. Would absolutely return

Online the American Omakase was listed at $90, current menu is $120. Staff inquired about allergies. Overall 3 of the courses were very tasty and 2 of the courses were lackluster and something I could do at home. The birthday celebrant was hoping for 1 beef course, but we were given 4 seafood courses and a dry pork belly. All the dishes were plated beautifully but all the dishes did not taste great. Although the scallop and fish were cooked to perfection and tasted delicious, not the the creative and exciting experience the other reviews raved about for the price. Lastly, we were charged a 4% "administration" fee, which was explained as the owner covering extra costs?! This was not disclosed prominently anywhere. Final impression bad taste in my mouth.

Inspired by two British drinking terms, Brimmer & Heeltap seeks to celebrate the moments that exist between the first sip of one's libation and the last drops lingering at the bottom of the glass. Since late 2013 we've delighted in creating an environment that is inviting, lively, and comforting. A sense of playfulness is present in everything we do, from the inventive dishes our culinary team prepares, to the friendly, genuine hospitality we provide. Ambiance: "Located in the former Le Gourmand space in beautiful Ballard, Brimmer & Heeltap offers an intimate, cozy atmosphere complete with an open kitchen, full bar, and multiple sections to drink and dine in. Our garden patio is one of the best-kept secrets in the city, offering a dreamy place to dine outdoors during Seattle's spring and summer months. We also have a tucked-away back studio that offers the perfect setting for special, private gatherings year-round. Just how many pennies does it take to cover a floor? Just ask Brimmer & Heeltap's proprietress Jen who collected tens of thousands of them from family, friends, and the community to help execute the vision of a cool gathering placed dubbed, naturally, the "Penny Room." This dining room, beloved for both its wall of menus and its shining penny floor, is a favorite place to break bread with loved ones, and plays into the restaurant's blend of nostalgic and contemporary design. The restaurant was designed in collaboration with Sean Sifagaloa of KRFTWRK and local builder Mike Marian, owner of Marian Built. Light, texture, metal, wood, and floral elements are all at play here. This historic building possesses a playful, familiar charm that we wanted to preserve in its latest incarnation." What I ordered: Wishing to sample a little of everything, we were served, family style, two orders of Bread ($9 each) - buttered with salt and pepper; Fritto Misto ($12) - assorted, lightly fried and pickled vegetables with tarragon aioli; Smashed Burrata ($19) - snap peas, preserved lemon, mint, basil, sherry reduction; Carrot & Tahini Dip ($16) - caramelized garlic, feta, pistachio, crudite; two orders of Heirloom Tomatoes ($21 each) - melon, chevre, crispy quino, soft herbs; Crispy Potatoes ($16) - whipped feta, hot honey, mint; Mushroom Agnolotti ($34) - roasted maitakes, chanterelles, whipped ricotta, miso butter, thyme; Roast Chicken ($42) - chickpea, berbere yogurt, marinated cucumber, mint gremolata. To finish off our meals, we shared the Olive Oil Cake ($14) - basil yogurt cremeux, strawberry gel, and the Chocolate Tiramisu ($16) - mascarpone, rum, amaretto, candied hazelnuts. What I loved: Oh man, every dish was delightful. I found something to savor and repeat in each of the dishes we were served. From the sweetness of the heirloom tomatoes, to the creamy burrata, from the crispy potatoes, to the fresh peas and everything in between. Our least favorite, at the table was the mushroom Angnolotti, inconsistent from bite to bite. The presentation of the Carrot & Tahini dip was a bit haphazard compared to the rest of the dishes served, but the flavor was still lovely. Why I loved it: The service was unparalleled, comfortable yet professional and quick to offer recommendations for our larger party. The decorations and quaint spaces truly welcoming, and the food, excellent. Cost: High ($40+ per person)
