Tried Ben Paris since I was staying at the State Hotel and had dining credit. Two of us ordered: ben paris breakfast $25 tavern burger $22 We had tried the fries as a snack before and it was ok. Unfortunately, the breakfast experience was terrible. Food sat there for 10-15 minutes. Server went MIA. Tried to wave down other staff to let them know our food was probably sitting there and finally someone else grabbed for us. Even as a comped meal, I wouldn't want to spend my time here. Food was cold. Nothing stood out. Bad service.

Stopped here on a Friday night to grab a quick bite since it was on the way to a bar we were going to for my friend's birthday. We were sat for a table of 3 and shared a seared scallop risotto, which was fantastic. I definitely was eyeing the other dishes, but maybe for another day. The seared scallop risotto was cooked to perfection and the scallops were pretty big! The dish perfectly complimented itself. The ambiance was fantastic! It was much more of a formal setup and the restaurant is quite fancy, but that's how you know you're getting quality food.

From my nephew Wyatt, I ordered ricotta pancakes with over easy eggs. the pancakes were so soft it melted in my mouth, the eggs were so yolky it tasted delicious . our server Justin, was so nice, he was helpful. The wallpaper was stunning, the art was outstanding. 5 stars.

I had a great brunch with some friends at Ben Paris. One of their popular (and photogenic) dishes is the ricotta pancakes, and it was absolutely delicious. The warm and soft pancakes with a slight sweetness from the cheese paired well with the vanilla based syrup. This was definitely one of my favorite bites of Seattle!

Main entrance to the restaurant the lobby entrance is on the east side.

The Ben Paris is a restaurant that is apart of the State Hotel on 1501 2nd Ave, Seattle Washington. It is recommended to reserve a table as it is seemingly a popular spot to eat and drink. I do believe that they can accommodate walk-ins accordingly. If you're driving into the city to visit the restaurant, there is a parking garage across the street, also you will be a block from the Pike Place Market. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a very friendly host named Evan. We were escorted to a nice table near the kitchen where I was able to catch a glimpse of the kitchen, and where the food is picked up to be delivered to the patrons. Evan, gave us the rundown on who our table attendant was and so on. Evan was very gracious and welcoming, he even complimented my eyewear. Jacob was wonderful and very kind as we had lots of questions regarding menu items and beverages. I really appreciated Jacob for suggesting things that he has enjoyed from the restaurant. What I like about the restaurant and the service is that all of their team members are pleasant, approachable and friendly. It's like they enjoy being there. Our food was delivered in a timely manner and was decent but we were not blown away by the meals. I'd say that we all enjoyed the experience and the atmosphere of the restaurant and team members. If I stand correct, I think the restaurant is known for its fanciful wallpaper. Which was pretty cool. There is a full bar on site just to the north of the dining area. The restrooms are located 1 level below the restaurant and it requires the use of the elevator. To the right of the elevator is the lobby to the hotel. Check out the beautiful table and the wall. Thank you Ben Paris for the lovely Birthday Brunch Experience.

Our experience at Ben Paris was nothing short of exceptional! Our server was fantastic- she had the perfect balance of friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout our meal. We enjoyed a cocktail and then bottle of wine - highly recommend checking out the red bottle list - very reasonable prices for some exceptional bottles! Apps: Fritters and Brussels - both so good! Fritters had some nice heat and were perfectly breaded and cooked... the Brussels had just the right balance of bacon and balsamic. Main: we shared the NY Strip and wow! It was served on a bed of feta (?) that was creamy and amazing. Dessert - chocolate mousse type thing that melted in our mouth. Next time you are seeing a show at the Moore Theater up the street - look no further than Ben Paris!

    Valentine cocktail special

Restaurant is cute cafe, space is limited, so I would recommend a reservation. Food was amazing, their cinnamon roll had the perfect amount of sweetness. Cauliflower Caesar was pretty good, you can definitely taste the kale but it was balanced, imo it needed a little bit more dressing but it was good. Valentines cocktail special was delicious, it tasted like a strawberry limeade. Baked eggs were delicious, meal was balanced. We also had the ricotta pancakes (not pictured) and it was surprisingly delicious, I am not a fan of pancakes so I was shocked that it was good. Service was amazing, our server Jacob was very attentive, and very nice, he made sure we had a good time! Can't give this place a 5 just yet since this was my first time there, so I definitely will be back to try other items on the menu & also try their dinner menu!

Nothing bad but nothing that great either! A pretty average experience Food was so ordinary .. I ordered the Ben Paris breakfast ($25) and it tasted like a free continental breakfast made up to look pretty. It didn't taste bad! But it wasn't anything special too, but that has its own charm too, I suppose. You eat exactly what you expect, but nothing more. Service was average as well. Our server never came to check up on us. She was kind, but I had to look for her to order a coffee, get the check, etc.

Heard about this place on TikTok and wanted to stop in because the inside looked cute and the food looked good. We made it right when they opened and it was exactly what I hoped for. The interior was cute with the mural representing a childhood fable. We don't get any fancy drinks but ordered their avocado toast and baked eggs for breakfast. Flavor and presentation were both great!

We loved it. We went on a nice bright sunny day, got a very nice sunny spot. We ordered their espresso martini, it was absolutely amazing. I forgot what we ate but I can tell you plates were empty. Such a charming place.

Really had high hopes for brunch here at Ben Paris but unfortunately was let down on many fronts. Our party was seated and ordered drinks expecting for them to be delivered within the next 10 minutes-- pretty standard for most brunch places. We then ordered our food, and somehow our food was delivered before our drinks were delivered. And that was after we asked if our drinks were coming or being made. As for the drinks, the Hugo Spritz was pretty standard. The pho Bloody Mary really leaves something to be desired-- it almost needs more tomato or something else to give it more depth. It really just tasted like beef broth with vodka. For food, would not recommend the turkey club. It was the most dry thinly slices of turkey-- I've never sent food back and I came so incredibly close this time. It almost looked like the turkey was either baked too long or several days old. I'm not sure if it was just an off day, but honestly, I don't imagine seeing myself back here just because of the turkey club alone.

I'm staying the The State Hotel and decided to try Ben Paris for Happy Hour. The hotel gives guests a $15 credit per day, I decided to use my credits this evening. After settling into my room, I came down and sat at the bar, which 3 of the 6 or 7 seats were filled. The bartender was busy talking to guests and doing something, so I looked over the menu. As I sat there, the bartender passed in front of me several times and began crafting a drink in front of me, while talking to the couple a seat over from me. The bartender spoke to someone else, then went back to them, never once greeting me or letting me know he'd be with me shortly. After waiting a bit, I decided to check with the front desk people, to see if happy hour was only in the bar area. They said it was not, so I asked the waitress if I could sit at a table. She walked me over to a table and was able to take my order immediately, as I had already had time to look over the menu at the bar. I ordered the fries, wagyu sliders, hush puppies, and Brussels sprouts. I was not a fan of the fries and the hush puppies. The sliders and Brussels sprouts were delicious. The woman working the floor in the restaurant was amazing... she completely turned around my experience. The bartender came to drop off my iced tea and still had an attitude, I would have apologized if I were in that position. In any case, I believe Heidi is the name of the server, she did a great job.

I've heard a lot about this brunch spot so I decided to hit this place up ! We did make a reservation in advance due to hearing about how busy it gets . We went on a Thursday around 12pm luckily it was dead by the time we got there ! Service was fast and our sever was nice . They sat us down immediately and we were able to order food drinks were really good and food was good . Honestly the pancakes are not too crazy ! Don't expect sweet pancakes ! They are light and fluffy that goes really well with the vanilla bean anglaise! Not to sweet but just right ! The only confusing part is the restrooms ! I could not figure how to go to the restroom here ! Other than that it was a nice spot to grab brunch/lunch !

Roquette was a surprisingly small space with a wonderful vibe serving up "destination" bar-worthy cocktails. It reminded me of some of the neighborhood gem cocktail bars that I'd frequented on the East Coast. I grabbed a seat at the bar. Roquette's lineup of cocktails were varied in flavor profile using a wide range of spirits. They also served non-alcoholic offerings which looked equally intriguing as their boozy selections. I started off with the 99 Problems ($28), which, unfortunately, I forgot to note what was in the drink. It was boozy, clever, inventive, and most importantly delicious. My second drink was the Imperium Old Fashioned ($24) made with Westland Whiskey "Roquette" Barrel, Clement Cask Strength Rhum, Old Delicious Apple Brandy, Pineapple, and Spice. It was an excellent, boozy, balanced update to the classic Old Fashioned. Although I went with drinks off their menu, I have no doubt that any of their skilled bar professionals could've crafted me a wonderful cocktail if I had simply requested a classic or something on the fly based on my choice of spirit and desired flavor profile.
