I made sure to take a pic of the sandwich from all angles. It was DELICIOUS! Walking in, you won't think it's a good place to eat at.. however, service is fast since it's small, and when we walked in around 2, there were only 2 police officers inside eating. My bf said, "you know it's good if cops are eating here". The chicken club was good and my party had the clam chowder which they said wasn't that great. The interior of the diner needs remodeling and better menu's, but it's really good! I would recommend.

Food was very good! They have a good pancake special: $16 for unlimited pancakes and sausage! Kobe burger was highly recommended and lived up to expectations

I love this little gem. Great for game days!

Burger was good but not great because the cheese was not melted. Fries were extra crispy which I like. While I enjoyed my experience, I would probably not come back again since the food was average and the prices were high.

Went to pike place for the weekend shopping with my girlfriends. The whole market is filled with tourists and crowded places and lines EVERYWHERE we go. Maybe because it's also lunch time. When we got near the Market Diner we saw that there isn't any line and there are a few empty tables so we decided to go in. The food was DELICIOUS! The fries were PERFECT! Perfect seasoning and texture. Their sauce also goes really well with the chips. The burger is kinda dry but the chowder is good. I saw a few sandwiches ordered from other tables and they look good too. If you are starving and don't want to wait long lines in the market during the weekend, head to this little hidden gem!

Beyond delicious! Thank you for the wonderful service Cy! The chowder in bread bowl was delicious and the Kobe burger was the best anyone had! This is such a quiet little off the beaten path spot with wonderful service and exceptional flavors and options! Try the popcorn shrimp and don't forget the chowder!

Crab Eggs Benedict + Shrimp and Chips

I was visiting Seattle for a couple days. I'm taking 2 points off for food taste. The shrimp was dry and the crab eggs Benedict wasn't the best tasting thing on there. The server was pretty nice.

This is a quaint and quiet dining option for being in the Pike Place Market Corridor. It's very simple and modest by design. The bar seating at the windows isn't great. They do have a good menu of things to choose from, both American (ie, Fish and Chips) and Asian (ie, Teriyaki Salmon Burger). I tried the latter and it was good. The salmon was a nice fillet (grilled?); decent taste and light. The fries that came with were good, as well. I think it's Asian-owned and staff was friendly.

Visit Washington for the week! So far enjoying a lot of my trip. So my best friend and I were walking around Pikes Place and decided to find something quick to eat. We stumbled upon Market Diner, which was located in the back of this shopping mall/area thing. This restaurant looked like it was a family owned restaurant. The girl who took our order looked young, maybe in high school and there was a little girl who was sitting around and playing in the restaurant. The Grub. So my best friend and I decided to order the Seafood Combo and Eggs Benedict. We split the order so we could have a chance to taste both items. Both were good =] I always love having eggs benedict. The seafood combo consisted of fries, and fried shrimp, salmon, and squid. Overall the food wasn't the best I ever had, but being so hungry at the time it definitely hit the spot~

Fish and chips....onion rings instead! Mmm good!!

The diner feels so cozy and homey - old photos of the owner and customers and magnets his guests left are a nice touch. Friendly and attentive service despite the busyness.

You order at the front before being seated which means food arrives shortly after sitting down. With that noted, I wouldn't return to wait that long. First visit, to try a relatively famous spot, sure. Inside is a bit tight, but conversation can be had. My friends got the lumpia-silog and bistek-silog. Lumpia was tasty, but not particularly outstanding. Bistek was dry. The beef was tough to chew, seasoned alright on the outside but likely overcooked if not old. I opted for the oxtail silog which was delicious but pricey. Oxtail Silog - for $29, this plate definitely gets a double take. After waiting in the hour line, I figured I should commit for a tasty meal. Oxtail comes in a side bowl alongside a bit of hearty broth which the rice absorbs well. Meat is tender, falls off the bone, but pulling around oxtail bones isn't the simplest, so definitely have to bite around crevices. All in all, this plate was delicious but think it comes with a huge tourist tax I've had better value for oxtail plates. Ube Pancake Stack - four sizeable pancakes. Some pictures, including my own, don't do these justice. I can definitely get behind the hype. They're drenched in a rich ube sauce and there's plenty to go around. Honestly the ube flavor is present on the pancakes, but it feels relatively faint because the sauce is extremely sweet and flavorful, minimizing the pancake taste and expanding the gap between flavors. That being said, I think I would enjoy the pancakes with less sauce (or preferably, on the side).

They served the coffees with a little shortbread cookie, and these little details really elevated the whole experience. Also, the cappuccino was so foamy, and it hit the spot immediately. The breakfast menu was also fantastic. The TPC Breakfast plate included sausage, potatoes, bacon, bread, and some scrambled eggs. There also was an option to add Beecher's cheese on the eggs, and I'd say it was totally worth it. Most importantly, the Dutch baby was as good as they'd advertised. It comes out on a piping hot skillet which kept the dessert warm till the end of the meal. The service was very quick even though they were entirely booked out for the time we were there for. I appreciated the patience from the servers and their helpful directions in picking the menu items. I will warn you that we had to reserve our spot months in advance. This is probably because the restaurant is great but pretty limited in seating space. However, it was definitely worth the wait, so don't be discouraged. I highly recommend trying it out at least once. All in all, highly recommend! Please go try Tilikum Place Cafe!
