I made sure to take a pic of the sandwich from all angles. It was DELICIOUS! Walking in, you won't think it's a good place to eat at.. however, service is fast since it's small, and when we walked in around 2, there were only 2 police officers inside eating. My bf said, "you know it's good if cops are eating here". The chicken club was good and my party had the clam chowder which they said wasn't that great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior of the diner needs remodeling and better menu's, but it's really good![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would recommend.

Food was very good! They have a good pancake special: $16 for unlimited pancakes and sausage! Kobe burger was highly recommended and lived up to expectations

I love this little gem. Great for game days!

Burger was good but not great because the cheese was not melted. Fries were extra crispy which I like. While I enjoyed my experience, I would probably not come back again since the food was average and the prices were high.

Went to pike place for the weekend shopping with my girlfriends. The whole market is filled with tourists and crowded places and lines EVERYWHERE we go. Maybe because it's also lunch time. When we got near the Market Diner we saw that there isn't any line and there are a few empty tables so we decided to go in. The food was DELICIOUS! The fries were PERFECT! Perfect seasoning and texture. Their sauce also goes really well with the chips. The burger is kinda dry but the chowder is good. I saw a few sandwiches ordered from other tables and they look good too. If you are starving and don't want to wait long lines in the market during the weekend, head to this little hidden gem!

Beyond delicious! Thank you for the wonderful service Cy! The chowder in bread bowl was delicious and the Kobe burger was the best anyone had! This is such a quiet little off the beaten path spot with wonderful service and exceptional flavors and options! Try the popcorn shrimp and don't forget the chowder!

Crab Eggs Benedict + Shrimp and Chips

I was visiting Seattle for a couple days. I'm taking 2 points off for food taste. The shrimp was dry and the crab eggs Benedict wasn't the best tasting thing on there. The server was pretty nice.

This is a quaint and quiet dining option for being in the Pike Place Market Corridor. It's very simple and modest by design. The bar seating at the windows isn't great. They do have a good menu of things to choose from, both American (ie, Fish and Chips) and Asian (ie, Teriyaki Salmon Burger). I tried the latter and it was good. The salmon was a nice fillet (grilled?); decent taste and light. The fries that came with were good, as well. I think it's Asian-owned and staff was friendly.

Visit Washington for the week! So far enjoying a lot of my trip. So my best friend and I were walking around Pikes Place and decided to find something quick to eat. We stumbled upon Market Diner, which was located in the back of this shopping mall/area thing. This restaurant looked like it was a family owned restaurant. The girl who took our order looked young, maybe in high school and there was a little girl who was sitting around and playing in the restaurant. The Grub. So my best friend and I decided to order the Seafood Combo and Eggs Benedict. We split the order so we could have a chance to taste both items. Both were good =] I always love having eggs benedict. The seafood combo consisted of fries, and fried shrimp, salmon, and squid. Overall the food wasn't the best I ever had, but being so hungry at the time it definitely hit the spot~

Fish and chips....onion rings instead! Mmm good!!

What made the experience even more memorable was the hospitality. The owner was there, took the time to chat with guests, and was incredibly kind. As a nice surprise, he even treated us to complimentary turon, which was such a thoughtful gesture and a perfect way to end the meal. It's little moments like that that make a restaurant stand out. Great food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere make Ludi's an easy recommendation for anyone visiting downtown Seattle. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town.

We ordered a full stack of the ube pancakes, the combo rice silog plate & then an extra side of beef lumpia and garlic rice. Once we were seated, the food came out pretty quick and we all fell in love. Every single bite was delicious and you can taste the love put into each dish. The ube pancakes lived up to the hype! not too sweet, perfect texture, and a flavor that was so perfect. The combo plate was amazing and I could eat a ton of their lumpia. Ambiance is homey and comfy, with photos all over the walls and a lively atmosphere. The owner himself came to chat with us about the food. We saw him walking around and being present with plenty of customers and that added a very special touch. he even gave us a magnet souvenir to take home. I will definitely be going back next time i'm in seattle and cannot recommend enough!

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

We got lucky, it was 4th of July weekend, so it was busy! We ordered pizza for the table and for my toddler. It was really good! He loves the pepperoni. My order was the salmon burger. They used a good slab of coho, nicely seasoned with a aioli. The fries were crunchy and nice. I shared with my husband and it was just right, since we had a bunch of apps at the market. We also got a round of beers. Or in my case I got their hard seltzer, which wasn't too bad, I would probably just get a light beer next time. Service was great outside! We came here mostly for one thing: I absolutely could not wait for their gluten-free vegan chick'n pot pie. A pie i'd been waiting months to try. A pie unlike any other pie. A pie that I still think about to this day. We walked straight into a Cardi B drag show. And by "walked into" I mean we opened the door and Hot Pink Shade sashayed right in front of us. It was exactly the kind of welcome we love. It was also the first green flag in a sea of green flags at Life On Mars. I could barely sit still as I waited to order my GF/VG pot pie. We got the drinks outta the way (a peach hard cider for me and a fancy-schmancy cocktail for the lady). I was positively GIDDY when Anna came to take our order and I blurted out chick'n pot pie excitedly. I nearly died when she said they didn't have any. Normally it wouldn't have been such a big deal, but I was from out of town and had literally been craving this damn pie for months! And I lied, I didn't nearly die but I DID nearly cry and that's almost as bad. Even the bestie lamented about what a let down this was. Anna. Dear, sweet Anna. We must have looked really hard up because this sweet baby angel offered to ask the cooks if they could whip one up special just for me. Let me tell you why this is a big deal: For one, she didn't need to do that. That's going above and beyond, and she was such a graceful little buttercup when she did it. Second, making a gluten free biscuit is a finicky, precise, detailed process. It sucks, honestly, and I don't blame them for not having them every day. I nearly cried when she came back and told us the cooks said YES. And this time i'm not lying. It was beyond the type of customer service i'm used to. It was.... humane. It was...empathetic. It was...totally first world problems but it meant so much to me! Especially since Anna said it had been a DAY and she was at her wits end. For her to have a rough day and still have the grace and compassion to make my stupid GF/VG chick'n pot pie dreams come true.....well, yeah, it made me a bit teary eyed. The pot pie was delicious, as expected. It was nostalgic and comforting, like a big hug in a bowl. The flavors were rich and deep, the biscuit soft and flaky; it was one of the most delicious things i've tasted on my GF/VEG journey. Between the food, the drinks, the customer service and the drag show......this was five stars all around. No doubt. I don't see the GF chick'n pot pie on their menu anymore. Maybe it's a seasonal thing? I hope it comes back, i'll be checking. And when it pops up again, so will I. Thank you, Anna. Thank you to the cooks on 2/19/26. Thank you to Hot Pink Shade, ISIS and King Leo Mane.
