3 cheese grilled cheese and tomato bisque
    Jennifer L.

This was a last ditch effort to find family friendly food in a pinch. They're located inside of the Silver Cloud Hotel. Their lunch menu is very limited and the food was just ok. The mimosas were strong and were only $5. We had the smash burger and it was a pretty good size but the amount of lettuce on it was ridiculous. The grilled cheese was pretty good and so was the tomato bisque.

We came in for their $5 Bloody Mary (Saturday & Sunday until 11am) and discovered why they're so cheap. The limes were moldy/rotting. The food was good, but the service was impersonal. We weren't offered water and didn't get any when we asked for it.

Sooooo. DELICUOUS. I had been craving Jimmy's food for so long we had to make a post doc visit stop. We got the gem Caesar salads. Mine on the right is the STARTER size; great portion, sundered tomato, pulsed toasty breadcrumb topping, bold caeser dressing, u swapped out my shaved parm for blue cheese crumbles (nice creamy spin) and the entre er split the blackberry grilled cheese. Gorgeous blend of sweet and savory and the tarter sauce is what a true seattle tartar is all about. Dill forward and FULL of zesty diced pickle.

Jimmy's is a hiding gem on the border of downtown. Their signature cocktail are always yummy and their menu is fantastic. They recently got a new head chef and changed their menu and have added some nice items. My ribeye steak last night was amazing with the homemade chimichurri sauce set the steak off. No need for A1 at all. We had our crispy coconut shrimp for an appetizer and the 5 jumbo shrimp were huge. Lastly for dessert with had NY Cheesecake with berries! What more can I say. Get you at seat right next to the kitchen at their high table and get great service! You'll love this spot!

I love this place. This is the bar/restaurant in our fave hotel. The staff is amazing and hilarious. I could have died laughing tonight. I wish I got their names but anyway...they are the real deal and why we keep coming back. We had the house red wine and also the painkiller. The painkiller was awesome! We also had their wings with the Korean spicy sauce. Freakin delicious. I recommend them all the way.

Brioche French toast with sweet nutmeg egg custard

Jimmy's has easily become one of my go to breakfast take outs during COVID, with their corned beef hash and a sunny side up egg as my favorite. I'm not usually a fan of thyme, and never thought to throw it into a corned beef hash, but somehow Jimmy's found a way to make it delicious and make me think "okay, that makes sense!". When you first open the to go container, it may appear the portion is tiny, but the portions are great and enough to save for a 2nd meal. I've found some restaurants will try to cut corners, and utilize more potatoes than corned beef, thankfully Jimmy's gives a fair split between the two. I've also had their brioche French toast, and it is thick (but in the best way). It comes with 3 pieces, but given the thickness it's almost like they gave you 4. So far given what I've tried, I'm looking forward to trying their other options. On the off chance they're taking suggestions, I'd be a fan of being able to order a single and/or double piece of their French toast as an add-on.

Crispy Bao is all you need. Ours was cut to share for 4.

This is what you're going to do. You will go for drinks and Crispy Bao, 1.5 orders per person plus one for the table. You will order the Seaplane and then think WTF, Joy, this smells like feet, but after 3 sips you will embrace the bitterness against the delicious tangy, salty Bao and then you will thank me for leaving this review. (The rest of the menu was pretty standard fare, nothing special, but I'd go back and give my left arm for those Bao.)

I ordered the clam chowder and, of course, oysters. The oysters were all amazing, with a great variety to choose from. They were shucked really well and came with both a mignonette sauce and a jalapeño sauce, which paired nicely with them. They are a bit pricey, but that's oysters for you. The restaurant itself is pretty big, though it can get packed during peak hours. If you're driving, just know there's no nearby parking since it's located on the waterfront, so you'll likely have to park a few blocks away. The drinks were good, we enjoyed the bread, and the view is hard to beat at sunset, but otherwise I'm not sure I can recommend this one.

Where do I even start?…read more I feel blessed to live down the street from Fish Guys. You've no doubt heard how killer the poke is, that's why you're here on Yelp. Well, let me tell you - the hype is real! You can't go wrong with any option, but my personal favorite is the spicy salmon. And that's just the tip of the iceberg, my friends. Smoked salmon belly bowl is to die for. Same with the eel. So are ALL of the sushi bombs. Did I mention the smoked salmon mac salad is the undisputed king of mac salads? Don't even get me started on Sal's specials. From the crab rolls, to the Salmon Sinigang - the lunch options just don't miss. All of the smoked salmon is some of the best I've had in my 15 years living in Seattle. Especially the salmon jerky. I put the smoked fish up there with the best in PNW. Seattle Fish Guys is a small store with very limited indoor seating and a couple of picnic tables outside for when the weather is nice. Overall, it is a little pricey, but still an authentic Hawaiian poke experience, which can be hard to find in Seattle proper. Sweet Shoyu Salmon (4.25/5): Salmon is fatty and almost melt in your mouth with a perfectly balance between sweet and savory. Onions add a bit of tang and overall a pretty perfect poke. Creamy Spicy Tuna (3.25/5): The texture on the tuna was just much less satisfying and this poke kind of just tasted overwhelmingly of sriracha. Definitely go for the salmon instead. Smoked Salmon Mac Salad (4/5): Not the creamy mac salad I was expecting, but instead a drying mac salad with a very generous amount of smoked salmon flaked in it. Definitely the boujee-est side I've gotten at a poke shop!

In its website, we learn that this is the brand's Oyster Saloon "because it is the perfect place to enjoy our specialty cocktails or a drink of your choice from our extensive bar offerings with freshly shucked oysters during an after work happy hour." I was looking for a light lunch, and selected Classic Clam Steamers, served in a shallot, butter, garlic and white wine broth ($19). Fit the bill perfectly. The creamy dip in the head crab shell got us intrigued, so we headed there for dinner. After a short wait for a table, we got seated and got our waters. The server gave us a run down of the popular items, one of which was their sampler for MP ($160). It has a dozen oysters, a whole crab, geoduck, shrimp cocktail, and more. Good deal for sharing. That was way to much food, so we just ordered the whole crab and geoduck sashimi. We also got a couple side orders of rice. The crab was pretty small to share, but it was fresh. The dip was pretty good. The crab "fat" flavor was a little too subtle, but it was still a tasty dip for the crab meat. I had imagined that it would be a kind of crab chowder, but it's more of a mayonnaise mixture. I thought $71 for the crab was a bit pricey though. The geoduck sashimi was really good. There were portions of both the siphon and belly fat. This isn't a typical menu item, so I was glad they offered it. The staff is so friendly. They made us feel at home. I wish they could just hang and chat with us lol. They were so busy though. Anyway, we were satisfied with our meal and enjoyed our time there.
