Best breakfast we have had since we've been here. We've been in Seattle for a week, and have had breakfast at all the "top rated restaurant's " in town, and we have been disappointed every single time. First time staying at the Coast and they had a restaurant inside their hotel so we decided to tried their room service. We ordered a couple of their dishes off their menu. We got the crab cake, wagyu sliders with rosemary garlic fries, chicken tenders with regular fries and their pepperoni pizza. To be honest, I would recommend that if you guys stay here, stay away from ordering this place or dining in here. I was super excited to eat the food but everything we ordered was overcooked or just didn't have flavors at all. The pizza on the menu said that they make their dough fresh and this pizza was worst than eating a frozen pizza! Also the chicken tenders were over cooked and tasted burnt. The slider's bun was too tasted and dry. The only thing that was okay was the crab cake. Overall, I was disappointed with this room service since this was a restaurant and I would have expected better quality. To be fair it's hard to maintain quality attention to detail when it's a low volume restaurant. But we had a good experience at Hilton's Redtrees restaurant. The old fashioned was very good and they had cubed ice cube and Luxardo cherries! They gave long pours too. Of course this is based on bartender so YMMV. Caesar salad: the dressing was the issue; not the worst I ever had ... but not good. Very mild would not reorder. My other party had the red tree house salad and it looked good. Pizza: was actually pretty good; quality cheese and upgraded pepperoni Club sandwich was bigger and thicker than expected. Absolutely NEVER again! We got in, and it was 90% full. It was just the four of us on a Sunday night. There were only a few options for restaurants nearby and open, so we had to stick with this place. We sat for about fifteen minutes, and nobody came over to ask if we'd like a drink. I got up and ordered them from the bartender, who took another fifteen minutes. Twenty minutes go by, and still no server for food or refill on drinks. Finally, my buddy got up, ordered another round, and asked if we could order food. They said no because the kitchen had just closed. While this conversation was happening, the kitchen staff walked by with food for a table that arrived after us. It's funny now, but it wasn't for my buddy at the time, who's worked in the service industry for many years. The blame doesn't land on any staff members because they were working their butts off. I blamed the incompetent restaurant manager (who doesn't know how to make drinks) and the GM of the hotel for not knowing what was happening in their hotel. So we were there for over an hour and just got two rounds of drinks. Luckily MOD pizza was across the street and opened for a few more minutes. I wasn't looking for pizza, but beggars can't be choosers. read more

Even during happy hour, the drinks were surprisingly expensive. That said, the food was pretty good! I tried a seafood app and entree on two different nights, and the kitchen was happy to customize my orders. Next time, I'll explore the neighborhood, but as far as hotel chain food goes, Redtrees is pretty good. read more

Redtrees is the only restaurant inside the Hilton, but if you're visiting Seattle, I highly recommend just roaming around the area. Pike Place Market is probably just half a mile away and there are so many dining options there. We ended up just grabbing happy hour at Redtrees since I had some hotel credit to spend, but even with the happy hour prices, I didn't think it was worth it. We ordered the sesame honey wings ($5), the thai chicken tower ($5), and the italian cheese flatbread ($11). Everything tasted good, but for the price, I could've had better elsewhere. The happy hour wings only came with 4 pieces, the thai chicken tower is really just a mini sesame chicken salad, and the flatbread was just a mini thin-crust pepperoni pizza. Service was really great. I just wasn't impressed with what I was getting. Overall, it's a decent dining option if you don't feel like leaving the hotel, but if you don't mind venturing outside, do it. read more

Came here late after a nap so the kitchen was soon closing. We ordered the thai chicken tower salad app and burger. The salad was soooo DLish. I'm still craving for it! It's a different take on a thai salad. Think taco salad/nachos...the thai salad was layered on fried wontons with the usual pnut dressing . YUMMMM! And when the burger came there was no mayo or sauce in it, but my husband took a bite and was like, Mmmmm! It didn't need any sauce on it! It was a big, tasty, juicy burger!! read more

Redtrees is the only dining option in the Hilton. Now that you know it's a hotel restaurant/bar, you should also know that both the restaurant and bar are physically together in the same general dining space. We showed up at 5PM, and grabbed two seats at the bar with ease. The tables were plentiful and mostly empty at that point. Prices here are high, but what else do you expect from a hotel bar? Happy hour runs from 4-6PM and 9-11PM every day, so that's when the best deals are. Our HH tap beers were $6.50 apiece, which in my book is still a bit steep for Hilliard's and Georgetown beer. We also got an appetizer of chips and dip for $5 (the regular price is $10). It was on the small side, and both the chips and dip were nothing remarkable. Service was very quick and pleasant. Jesse, our bartender, seemed to know his stuff when it came to the beer on offer. Overall, this is a convenient location if you need to meet someone who's already staying at the Hilton, but I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to come here. read more

Expensive, but that's to be expected in a hotel bar. Definitely recommend coming in while Lucas is working. He was a terrific bartender, who obviously enjoys his job. Since it was so quiet, I asked for a mystery cocktail, and instead of just handing me a rum and coke, he invented one for me with oranges which involved fire, and gave my boyfriend a shot of some really incredible cinnamon tequila. Eh. This place is average at best. The service is rather slow and the drinks are very expensive in comparison to surrounding options. The bar is located inside the hotel and is a combination of a sports bar (televisions playing all around) and an upscale lounge. We came in search of happy hour food, the choices were limited and the entree prices were higher than I was looking for. We got the wings, chicken Thai stacker and the salad. We knew we would still be hungry so I grabbed a beet salad (delicious!) and then we each had dessert. The servers were great, helpful and quick. The food was good but the happy hour portions were not filling if you're sharing (perfect for one person to get two). My friend had the chocolate potato cake, it was good, like a potato textured brownie. I got the apple dessert which was great and came with a generous helping of creamy vanilla ice cream. We were in town for a show at the 5th ave theater so it's proximity is ideal for someone just looking for a drink and a snack before a show otherwise I would search elsewhere for the same prices for dinner.
