    Veggie omelette and pancakes

Service was excellent, food was delicious, atmosphere was quiet. Not sure why this place only has 3 stars. We came Sunday after church and there was one other party. I had the avocado toast with two eggs and my husband ordered veggie omelet and pancakes. All delicious. Would highly recommend.

My friends and I came here while staying at Warwick Hotel to start our night out with a cocktail before heading out for a night on the town. Place was pretty empty. They serve food as well. Our bartender was nice and really made our drinks strong, which we appreciated. He chatted us up and gave some recommendations for the area. We had drink tickets, so our drinks we luckily comped. It was an easy first stop. But check out the other bars in the neighborhood too.

We ate breakfast every day during our 4 day trip. The food was very good tasting. The executive chef came out to meet us and get feedback on the food quality. Took constructive criticism very well, and very proactive to adjust the menu. We did dinner one night here and I thought the chowder was excellent, the salmon cooked excellent, and was visited by the executive chef again at our table. Would recommend everyone staying at the Warwick to eat here, they wouldn't regret it!!

Staying at the hotel saw that they had a happy hour, decided to grab a drink before our dinner reservation. We had wing appetizers and whipped feta and a few drinks. The bartender was friendly and the chef came out to ask us how we liked our appetizers. The ambiance was welcoming.

Went to Margaux because it was connected to the hotel and we really didn't feel like walking anywhere. Customer service was great. Everyone was soooo friendly. The restaurants looks like an older dim restaurant for an older crown. The food was basic. The French onion soup was good , the bolenese was good but definitely lacked a lot of flavor. Again I think because they are used to only having older customers. We also paid $50 for a steak that ... looked like it was $25 Would I come back... no but if you are staying on the Warwick hotel ... does it do the job.. yes definitely

The fish and chips were surprisingly one of the best I've ever had, and the server, Demetria, was very patient and friendly! Overall a great experience

We were staying at the Warwick and I have to say don't waste your time. All we had was a glass of water after waiting 45 minutes we left. It's a little over priced according to the menu and the hotel staff agreed. There were people working and our server kept walking by our table but never took our order. We really would have liked to try some of their food. They have a happy hour 4-7 but we left very unhappy! As we walked out the lady at the desk just said sorry

Pasta carbonara and the Margaux club sandwich

Tbh idk how this place got this much hate cause our experience was more than solid. Our server Paolo took care of us well and were sat immediately despite being in the middle of dinner rush time. Food came out fast and the portions were huge. The berry portion of the club hit different and made it all worth it. Probably wouldn't have been able to finish the single dish by itself so glad I had the Mrs to half with. The carbonara was amazing as well and for most places we go to skimping out of the proteins the dish was stacked with chicken and mushrooms. For desert we had the raspberry chocolate lava cake and never has a cake like that been so fluffy and just melty as this. As a berry Man U really have to nail the flavor bending and this had it in spades. Definitely a return for me when I come back to town.

Greetings at the door were kind of awkward can't explain how or why, it just was lol. Since it was just myself, I opted to sit at the bar. Found seating at the oyster bar. Was greeted pretty quickly by Brandon. Service from waitstaff was kind of on the slower side (I had to grab my own menus since some time had passed... not sure if this was supposed to be handed to me at the front or not), it also took a bit to get my order and tab. But once i ordered the food came out pretty quickly (just got oysters, a beer, and chowder). But my waiter was def super friendly! Could've just been an off night. I think the saving grace here for my experience was Brandon! Glad I opted to sit at the oyster bar. This was my first time into Seattle, therefore first time visiting Elliot's. Appreciated the tidbits of knowledge he dropped regarding the oysters - honestly made me appreciate it more! Had him pick 6 different ones since I didn't have any context of the different species of oysters. Chatting with Brandon also felt like catchin up with an old friend. The oysters were delish! Super fresh and my favorite was the shigoku. The amount of oyster choices they had were overwhelming, in a good way! The spicy crab and corn chowder was also bomb, which was also recommended by Brandon as I was originally just going to try the classic/regular one. Id totally come back here again next time in town.

So when I woke up still craving shellfish, RockCreek was the call. It was the right one. A dozen oysters to start: Kumamoto and Shigoku. Clean -- no grit, no sand. Whatever they're doing back there, it's working. The brine was full and present in every shell, and the mignonette hit that rare sweet spot of light but actually seasoned. The Winter Old Fashioned? Get it. It was so delicious. Then came the crab Benedict. The side salad alone was worth writing home about -- big, buttery, peppery leaves draped in one of those feather-light vinaigrettes that sounds simple until you try to replicate it at home and realize you can't. But the real star of the entire plate was the potatoes. Crispy outside, genuinely fluffy inside, seasoned with conviction. A masterpiece is not too strong a word. Closed with a glass of pink wine. Was eyeing the bottle with the piglet on the label, but it was bottle-only -- a distinction I find increasingly arbitrary as a former server and bartender. One day that policy will be a relic. Not yet, apparently. Best brunch I've had in Seattle in two years. Highly recommend.

We ordered some of our go-tos -- hamachi crudo, tuna tartare, and calamari -- and everything was spot on. The vinegar dill fries are exceptional: thin, super crispy, and loaded with seasoning (honestly hard to stop eating). We also tried the loaded fish sandwich and the cornmeal-battered lingcod -- both solid choices. Spicy margarita lived up to its name with a nice kick. It was pretty dead when we arrived around 5pm, with only one other larger table seated, which made for a relaxed, easygoing happy hour. Always a dependable spot when you're craving seafood done right.

Upon walking in, we noticed the server was pretty quick to take the initiative to push a couple high tops together since most of the tables only sat 2. We also had a child with us so he offered us a booster seat. I feel like that was the last time we were treated pleasantly. Our server was very dry and direct when he approached us. I told him my husband has celiac and his response was "Ok." I followed up with so can you tell us what options we have that are Gluten free friendly? (Didn't think I needed to ask after mentioning a severe allergy) He just stepped away and looked like he was trying to find out from someone in the kitchen. He came back shortly after and gave us our options. We ordered a few different things to share, oysters, the fish dip and mussels tostada. The vibe we got was that he did not enjoy serving us because we had a child with us and I seem to be asking him too many questions. That is the impression he left with us. I will say the oysters were very fresh and enjoyable. We also got the crab Mac n cheese which was cheesy and tasty. We asked him for some more chips since we ran out quickly for the smoked oyster dip. He seemed annoyed but got us more. I could overhear that he sounded more pleasant with the other guests surrounding us. The mussels tostada flavors were nice but I didn't love the texture of them which is totally just my preference. He dropped off the check shortly after and noticed there was a 18% gratuity which I found out is standard for downtown Seattle. Being in the industry I do think it's a courtesy to mention it when dropping off the check to a guest. On another note, I did think the seafood tank in the center was cool because you could see all the geoduck and oysters they were offering. Overall, I think we wanted to enjoy our experience more but the servers attitude and demeanor towards us was off putting and we just tried to eat quickly and leave. Don't think we'll return to this location.
