Never coming here again!! They are so rude. STORY-TIME: my sister-in-law and I booked appointments Saturday during the day for Sunday at 4pm to go in and do our nails. They said yes come in we'll see you at 4. We show up at 3:50 a little early and they say sit down they didn't do our toes till 4:30 then keep in mind we still wanted our nails done cause we booked it and they close at 5. They didn't start my nails till 5 the lady was still doing my pedicure. The guy rush's over to me asks me what I want I show him a pic and hecka just puts on the nails while I'm getting my pedicure and after he's like okay come with me and shapes they horrible... doesn't even have me go wash my hands before he polishes them. He only apply one coat of gel polish over my nails. ONE. I ask him to reapply another and he doesn't. He just wanted to leave to go home. They could have told us look we honestly don't have time for you girls on Sunday and we could have went in on a weekday but no they just want your money & not care about the customer's satisfaction. I went in on Tuesday and told them how the guy was rushed and I talked to Danny's Wife, Danny is the manager and is rude. I told her I wanted a refund if they couldn't fix my nails. They told oh we'll fix them I said okay. I waited I sat down and the people were talking smack about me, I told the lady that was doing my nails are you guys talking about me? Cause I was not gonna sit uncomfortable with people babbling about me, I'm there so tell it to my face as ghetto as that sounds it's true they can tell me to my face. So the lady says oh no we're not with her cheeks getting rosy like SIS! I know you guys are, the manager comes up to where she's doing my nails because I tell her you know what I just want my money back and my nails off cause I was so heated and the manager said we don't do refund because we have to pay her for fixing your nails already. Then he said "no one has ever complained like you" I just said okay? Well, then he says don't stop her no more I was like whatever I can't in my head. So then I just let the lady polish my nails and I stick it out since I'm not gonna get my money back mine as well have them re- polish them. NEVER COME HERE. Go to N&T nails on coffee with KENNY. He does good & if you don't like your nails there within five business days they will fix them for you. ( I CAME HERE JUST TO TRY THEM OUT CAUSE MY SISTER-IN-LAW AND I HEARD THEY WERE GOOD) The lady that did my sis nails was not so bad. RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, VERY UNSANITARY. So after 4 days my nails started chipping ! 4 DAYS.... well, someone contacted me and well, I asked I am not getting charged right? For fixing my nails. The person replied , come in and we will see ! Really??? 4 days after doing shellac Mani... my nails are chipping , mind you these are my real nails, they usually last till week 3-4 weeks. But 4 days! I paid $50+ tip for shellac mani, regular pedi wow!!! My nails only lasted 4 days!! And to get them fixed "you will see if I get charged or not" Yep, no thanks! They seemed surprised that I showed up. A technician stopped service on someone to come and stand in front of the salon table and begin my services. When she finally sat down and settled in she was sloppy in her work. She walked away and a man came and stood in front of the table. I wasn't sure about the transition but apparently he was doing my nails now. He was moving to the paint portion of my manicure and I had to ask him to clip and file my nails to an even length since the previous woman had not done so. The guy doing my nails was so rough and rushing , I asked him to please be gentle 2x and still ends up cutting my cuticle making me bleed. As a former customer I do not recommend this place. The worst part is that I complained and showed the guy that runs the salon of what happened and I asked if someone else can finish my set because I had already been hurt and had asked the guy doing my nails to be gentle, all that he said was that they were too busy and began speaking in their language which is so rude to begin with . I've been going to this shop for over a year. And the last 2/3 times I have gone have been horrible. And today was probably my last time stepping foot in this salon. I arrived at Luxe and 315p and did not leave the shop until about 730p. What I got was very simple but for some reason the woman (she was pregnant) that did my nails screwed then up to the point I cried. She redid my thumb nails multiple times and put so much acrylic onto my nails that she spent two hours shaping them and filling them. I've never in my life sat in a chair for that long for a simple full set. The woman that did my pedicure was so rough to the point I had to say "ow" for her to calm down. She dug so far under my toe nails that they are now sore. OH! And my acrylic peeled off my full set within an hour of leaving. The gel underneath was completely wet because she kept packing on gel before curing them. Also all of my nails are different shapes. My thumbs are square and bulky while the others are somewhat coffin. My nails have huge dips in them and some are completely flat across. Never going back. read more

Today was my first time at Luxe Nails. I came with pictures and a plan of what I wanted my acrylic set to look like. My nail tech was not only extremely rude, shocking even my two other friends that came with me and heard her, but also tried to talk me out of the ideas I wanted. It was obvious that she was trying to talk me out of what I wanted so that she didn't have to do the extra work that came with what I was asking for. She was extremely judgmental and rude about what I was asking for and treated me like I was an idiot. To top it all off, she did awful almond shaping to my acrylics. She smudged and messed up one of them, fixed it, but messed up the shape on that nail too. As pictured, my thumb nails aren't even the same length. She made my nails look super tacky, while my friend who had a male nail tech received amazing looking nails. I wish I caught my nail techs name. She has blonde hair, arm tattoos with faces on them, and eyelash extensions. I just noticed there are a ton of bad reviews about her. Why hasnt she been fired??? She was horrible. Every nail shop I go to in Stockton pretty much sucks with just the overall quality and shaping. So I thought, "why not give them a try?" When I walked in, the place was very nice and modern looking. I probably waited about 10 minutes before I got seen which isn't bad. They also have a good variety of colors that cater to your needs. I think that works out to about $119 for the set, which is a little over the top considering there are alternatives for cheaper and I can't figure out how it went from $50 starting to $119. However, I didn't dock a star for that because I am absolutely obsessed and if you get simple nails it shouldn't be a problem. However, my toe lady cut my toe and it didn't stop bleeding until after i left. And she pushed on the same area over and over again on my foot until it was uncomfortable. My real long nails are damaged and broken due to the product used and terrible technician. Very disappointed in this place. Took me a long time to grow my nails out this long. I didn't go to my regular salon because I was visiting from out of town. I wish I never came here. 3 days after getting the acrylic dip powder and all my nails are chipping. My real nails are broken. I don't know if the product used is very cheap or if the guy who did my nails is unskilled. He removed my old dip powder using a drill. Usually it should be soaked off to avoid nail damage. I don't know why I'm having this chipping and breaking issue.. I've been using dip powder for 3 years and NEVER had this problem. My nail beds hurt.
