First time visiting here. My pedicure was done by a younger boy & ouch. Clipping my nails and cuticles hurt, also the mask he did on my legs was extremely abrasive. It felt like he was rubbing off all of my skin, was not a good feeling. I had verbally said ouch a few times & even had to ask him to stop. My nail polish color was not at all what i wanted. From the outside of the bottle it looked bright sunflower yellow, but after he put it on it looked almost orange. Not the same. I wasn't paying attention until he finished & he said oh well sometimes the companies put a different color inside and it's not always exactly the same.... my pedicure would be 1 star if i had to rate it individually. My nails were acrylic and she left pieces under my nails that I had to cut out because the were pocking my fingers. The acrylic was sloppy and onto my cuticles and the sides of my fingers. Well, after three and a quarter hours later I am so unhappy, I literally cried in frustration. I literally asked the guy doing nails if he can do the same thing for me as a photo I showed him. He said yes, so I let him do it. Turns out he couldn't because he didn't have the color I wanted. When I mentioned mixing the powders to customize a color for me, he said it's a waste of money. Like mixing a little powder is going to break his bank. I'm used to paying 85 and up for a customized look, but I guess for 60, he thinks he can do what he wants. Now I am heading to another salon to fix my color. I really don't care if I'm charged 100 for something I'm going to be excited about rather than the flip side. Such a waste of time and money! Now I am heading to another salon to fix this fk'n problem. To the owner, start putting your customers first and you'll see how much they'll be loyal. The guy going pedicures sucks, also! I recently came in for a acrylic fill and was helped by a man named "Thy". This is my second time coming to salon and the second time he was going to be my nail tech. He helped me quickly and started getting to work. I came in missing a nail and he assured me that it was no problem. He added the nail and shaped it to match the others. He did the whole fill routine and when it came to painting my nails, I asked if he could also paint the tips of my nails (it's a pet peeve of mine when nail artists don't). He said of course! I just really had to commend his paint job on my nails this time. He was very careful with them and I like how he always ends the manicure with cuticle oil and a warm damp towel for your hands. I normally wait to give a place a 5 star, unless there establishment is just not the business. It's also crazy how shit turns out if you just wait patiently. I scheduled my mom and I an appointment at 5:30pm Friday. They take us back and started the foot soak. I wasn't bothered by the wait, I was more bothered by my feet turning white and pruned soaking in the water when I'm a black woman bwahahah I believe our time was rolling into 7pm. My mom making sly comments, but before I decided to walk out. Hollie came to my rescue. She gave me the best pedicure feeling I have had in a while. I don't know the young guys name who took care of my mother, but she said he did a wonderful job as well. This place was so busy!!! So I showed my picture of what I was requesting (on the left) and obviously you can see the results. I called and was told a gel full set is $40 and I was charged $50. 5 for gel and I believe an extra $5 because was I asked for seemed to be a difficult set. I wouldn't mind paying extra (although I wish to be asked before hand if its ok and not once it's done) or waiting a long time if the set is what I asked for. It's obviously not the same results so why say you can do something when you can't. Aside from not getting what I wanted the woman was extremely nice and patient so I do appreciate the customer service. I've seen Amy's work and it's beautiful I'd definitely request an apt with her. Found lovely nails & it was even closer to me then other one. Anyways I was immediately seated. Picked my gel color & Kelly started on my nails immediately. All was well until she put a clear sparkle on & I had to mention that the color I picked looked white with a shimmer sparkle. She right away said oh, ya it has a white under. She fixed it right away! ($35) My mom got acrylic french tips. ($25) I did not give them a 5 star rating because I was disappointed that they didn't work on my cuticles, just did my nails. My nails look nice except for random small bubbles and they didn't go close enough to the cuticles so itn looks like they've been growing out for a couple weeks already. (EDIT: I went back to see if they would fix my nails to make them closer to my cuticles. They apoligized and fixed it for no charge. I am very pleased with how they look now. I would recommend trying this place, they are priced reasonably and are nice) I will update this review to see how long the nails last. (Update: They stayed pretty strong for almost 2 months. I'm really hurt and def. upset. My mother is a regular here and I used to be before I had my baby. My husband called asking for an appointment at 4:30 but little does he know of MY schedule. So I call asking when's the latest and they tell me 5:30 I was running late while doing errands. I judge nail salons quite strictly and this one did not disappoint My mother had her own practice and I always compare works to her and if it's better then I'll acknowledge it. This is first place I've been to, that has done my nails correctly, since getting my nails done by my mother in 2016 and I can say I'm overly impressed. I showed the young woman a picture of what I wanted (I can't recall her name) she did her best to recreate the picture. I asked for a marble accent finger and it just didn't look like how I would have liked, so she quickly remedy the situation by adding a silver foil to my nails which I ended up liking.
