Kind of shocked that this place has so many bad reviews. I came in at 6:18, was out of there by 6:45. The older woman did my toes, the young lady did my nails. DO NOT GO HERE! There was an older lady who gave me a pedicure on 3/24. I don't have ingrown nails and she cut the side of my left toe too deep ! I ended up having to go to the ER where they told me I developed an infection. I had to pay out of pocket to get medical treatment for it and the medicine they prescribed (4 different kinds) I called the nail shop to let them know what happened and give them an opportunity to make things right I told the gentleman I wanted to speak to the owner of the shop and he told me I could call back I said no I can leave u my name and number and she can call me as I am a very upset customer. Then he said just post it on yelp we will reach out so here I am. I'm honestly so upset about the whole thing not only have to waste my own money on their negligence but also to not even get a sincere response from this place. First time going here. Surprisingly for living in Ceres for my whole life, this is my first time here! Walking in.. it's not the most up to date place but they get the job done it seems like. Be careful tho. There is only 4 employees here so on a busy day.. you can imagine the wait times. I had Kim helped me. And boy did she do an awesome job. She took off my acrylic nails, shaped and smoothed my nails out. Did all the works and I even got a nice hand massage after. Her care was awesome. Today I came to get my nails done, a simple nude nail. When I mentioned to my nail tech (a young girl With short hair) that their was a visible pink line showing and if something could be done about that, she got extremely defensive shaking her head "no" and left to do someone's else's pedicure. When I asked the owner man to see my nail and maybe provide some help, he didn't even look at me and told me to leave and that I'm "too picky." Horrible service all around. Don't do it! I'm taking the time to write this review for you! My mom PATIENTLY and kindly waited over three hours not exaggerating! When I went concerned to see why she was taking so long since my pedis have never taken so this long. She explained she felt they were taking advantage of her because she couldn't speak English. She explained other clients went before her and when it was her turn to sit the young lady was rushing so much she was burning her foot from scrubbing so fast. When I asked to speak to the manager (yes the only rude ass old man) he wouldn't even face to answer me. I had never been to this location before. I did a little bit of research this location got great reviews. Called, ask them if they had time for a full set and a pedicure. Said yes they do, at X time. I show up for my appointment. Every chair is full. They asked me to have a seat and wait. I did. About 5 minutes later another girl walks in says you guys ask me to return in 20 minutes because you didn't have time when I came in. I asked her if she had an appointment she said no she was a walk in but they would have time in 20 minutes. I politely walked out not wanting to wait another 20 minutes. No point in making an appointment if you still have to sit and wait 20 minutes before even being acknowledged. read more

I moved out here from Los Angeles and I don't particularly like to go to places that I've never been to before without reviewing them, but since my friend said she's been here before I trusted her judgment. I've gone to them 4x's just for a pedicure and I haven't been disappointed yet. I have went to other shops in and around the area because my daughter was treating me to a pedicure. And here's what I've found: The staff is very nice here and have treated me respectfully, they catered to my needs and paid attention to exactly what I wanted. I wear flip flops alot so my feet are particularly sensitive to being exposed to heat. I like my feet to be soft and supple, not dried or cracked. I go swimming as often as I can as well so my feet can tend to get dry. Each time I left Crystal nails my feet felt like a baby's foot. Here's is what you get for a $18.00 simple pedicure. You get to sit a a massage chair that actually works (some places their massage chairs don't work well or their buttons are broken) and get a nice massage to your liking. 1. They soak your feet in some blue soothing salts 2. They cut your cuticles and nails down 3. They scrub your feet to remove dryness or calluses 4. They massage your legs and feet with oil 5. They put both feet in paraffin wax 6. They massage your legs with warm stones (feels great) 7. Then polish and dry done. Most of the other Nail Shops in Modesto charge $32.00 and up for this pedicure, and they do all this for $18.00 !!! The atmosphere is great it's always air conditioned, they place soft music in the background and everything is clean and sanitized. There is plenty of parking outside and it appears like they have loyal customers. Each time I came in a customer would come in saying one of the family members comes there and they wanted to get their nails or toes done. They have lots of colors and they also do gel nails. I think they do eyebrows too. So if you're looking for a good nail shop this is the place. Quality work for a very reasonable price, I'd say that's worth tipping well ! Think about it like this, their saving you money because you're not paying an outrageous price of $32.00 for a deluxe pedicure and you never have to worry about getting a bad job done on your feet. Wow they charged me and my boyfriend $44 for two pedicures. I didn't know there was a charge to add nail polish cot to your pedicure! Who does that? All I had was a simple pedicure with blue nail polish and a snowman on my toe. I think it's outrageous to add on a charge for painting your toes. The hot stone rocks and hot towel were amazing, but still I will never come here again. I work too hard to have my relaxing moments held here. I live in Las Vegas but have family here in Ceres. My mom and I decided to get a gel manicure so I pulled up Yelp to see where the good places are. This place is in a shopping center that we don't really like to frequent but we figured with all the good reviews it might be worth it. We were not disappointed! If you want an ultra fancy experience a) you should probably move out of Ceres and b) find a different salon. But if you're looking for great prices and super friendly, personalized service this place is for you! It is a family owned business and they are so, so nice. My mom had a split in her nail and Linda, her nail tech, fixed it with some acrylic for free. They were also extremely thorough, which is awesome for the price! (Only $20 for a gel manicure... Whaaaaat??) My mom is very excited to have found her new nail salon. :) I only wish it wasn't such a long drive from Vegas or I'd call it my new salon too! They are a bit understaffed but it is a small location. About maybe 5 pedicure stations and 4 manicure ones. I went today (Thursday) and my wait time was pretty long due to only 2 women doing pedicures and one man doing the hands. Pedicure-$18 includes hot stone rubbed on your leg, wax on your feet, scrub, hot towel rubbed on your leg and oils. From experience I have with other salons they usual put in bath salts or something in the tub but they didn't do that with mines or the other people there. They have massages chairs but on my particular chair not all the buttons worked French manicure-$23 the guy who did my nails did a really good job. When I was done with my pedicure I had to wait for him to finish 2 people in front of me. He was fast but I was still slightly annoyed. The staff there was really friendly. If you have 1.5-2 hours to spare to be waited on for toes and nails, then I would def would recommend them. If you are Ina hurry, you should def pass on this one. I'm a very happy customer. My friend and I decided we had finally found OUR salon and the dubious search has ended. We will definitely be returning. The first time I came here I got a pedicure from Linda and she was great! You get a lot more than you'd expect for only $18. This time I was serviced by the gentleman that's one of the owners (didn't catch his name) and I got a full set of coffin nails and I couldn't be happier. He was thorough and actually asked me if they were what I liked and if I wanted any changes before he finished. And he didn't cut me around the nails with the files because he was pretty gentle and that's rare. Overall I left the salon with the best experience I've ever had so I decided to leave a review, and that's saying something! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking for great services, amazing customer service and prices you can't beat. read more
