On behalf those I accompanied during the visit, we all agreed the experience and service at Nail Tech was a superb and most professional! The staff (Hailey and Helen) were super friendly, tentative and expedient. They pay very close attention to detail giving you exactly what you want. On point! Great customer service. While we were there, a customer came in from a previous visit and they took great care of her on the spot, as well. The location could use some upgrade on the decor side of aesthetics. By far the worst nail job eve, they are so unprofessional. I went in for two services Acrylic full set and a pedicure. Acrylic full set they left gaps between my real nail and the acrylic nail. I asked them to fix it remove them and to fix they didn't want to they just wanted to add glue underneath my nails. The gap can cause mold and eventually an infection. You would think they are professionals but they are far from that. Pedicure- my toddler can paint my nails better. I went in to get them fixed they keep telling me they don't have time. Wow!! I would give 0 stars if it were possible! I have been working a lot of hours lately and my feet looked like elephant hide. On my only day off in quite a while I decided to treat myself to a relaxing pedicure. I headed to Nail Tech my usual go to spot. It's close by and convenient and I usually don't have to wait. I went and they had me sit down right away. There were several other ladies there as well as a girl about eight or nine years old with her mom getting a pedicure. I noticed a couple of the women working there seemed a little irritated. Didn't seem like much at first. Looking back now, I sorry I didn't turn my video on!! The two women that were irritated started bickering. I had no idea what they were talking about, which is neither here or there, as I don't understand their primary language. I tried to ignore it as it was none of my business, and relax and get started on a pedicure. Before I knew it another worker joined in, it got louder and more heated. People in the shop just stopped and stared at what was going on. This grew over about a 10 minute time period!The workers stopped working on their clients and joined in the bickering! I have never seen anything like it in a place of business! Especially a nail spa! Spa gives the sense of relaxing. This was totally opposite, Incredibly uncomfortable, and absolutely ridiculous to have six or seven nail technicians arguing loudly while their clients just sat there! Even worse in front of a young girl, without any regard to decency! I had had enough! I got out of my chair and went over to the two women who started the whole thing. I let them have it verbally! I said, "are you kidding me?!! What the hell is wrong with you! You're too grown women, in a place of business, and this is extremely unprofessional! Even worse, you are behaving this way in front of a child! I came here to relax and this is the worst experience I've ever had! I will never be back!!" Angry and rattled I went out to my car, and pulled up yelp. I was determined to get my pedicure and not let these crazy women spoil it. I found a place called Angel Nails a few blocks away. I called and they said they could take me as a walk-in. The business was fresh, clean and beautiful. I only sat for a few minutes before they called me over. A nice gentleman named John did my pedicure. He was nice and pleasant, very professional, and honestly gave me the best pedicure I've ever had. It took about 45 minutes or so and included the usual, plus a very relaxing foot and calf massage, and then a second massage with warm stones! I found myself wondering how much this wonderful pedicure was going to add up to with all the extra things he was doing plus buffing off all the elephant hide! Honestly though, I didn't care, as I was sure it would be worth it. I was shocked when I went up to pay and he told me the cost was going to be two dollars extra because I was using a credit card. The total came to a whopping... $32!! That is far less than what I paid at Nail Tech in the past! I thanked John and gave him a good tip! Every other customer in the salon seemed very happy with their service as well. I will be back, I'm back more often because their prices are so reasonable! I can treat myself and not feel guilty. If anyone from Nail Tech reads this, I just have one thing to say. If you care about your business and your clients, you need to sit your staff down and straighten them out! I really wanted to give this place a second chance after new ownership. I went here when they got new owners & the Male did my nails but he was very aggressive and made cuts on my fingers. I wish I had took a picture- my nails were crooked and the corners were all cut and bloody. I went back for a second time hoping for a better experience and got the same guy who did my nails before. I'm just here to say once again I am unhappy with my nails within 48 hours my nails have already cracked and fell off. I wont reccomend this place. read more

Don't go here I literally watched the lady clean up her station when she was done doing a lady's nails; she went up to the sink and rinsed with water the nail tools and put them in the black basket and then brought it over to where I was sitting to get a pedicure done! I told her like aren't you suppose to sterilize it in the machine and she said she washed it with water, water doesn't kill the fungus or bacteria it has from previous customers!!! I did a walk-in on a Sunday with my sister and they immediately helped us. They let us know they are under new ownership but this was the first time I've ever been here so not sure how they were before Anyways David did a gel French tip manicure and I was very impressed by how thorough he was. I came in with old gel and he was able to take it off by soaking my nails in acetone, scraping and filing it off. Most people I've gone to just file it off with the tool. He took his time removing my cuticles, and cleaned up the hardened gel off my cuticles after the UV light. Biggest plus is he didn't forget to give me my hand massage! Most places they don't do it unless I ask at the end. I really liked how my nails came out ($33). They said they're open 7 days a week now. I will definitely be coming back! Thank you! read more

I've been going here for the past eight months and I love the work that David does but there have been two or three occasions where he overcharged for my acrylic nails. He charges what he feels like charging and not what the true price is. They do things without even asking and end up paying an outrageous price at the end. I was left soaking my nails for more than an hour on one occasion. Last time I went, clear powder was used for my nails but when I asked for a natural color gel nail polish, David went ahead and put color powder on top of the clear powder already on, which I thought was strange but I thought he knew what he was doing. I went somewhere else yesterday to get a fill and the nail tech said she noticed I had two powders on and wasn't necessary. Duh!! Now I realize why I paid $55. Wow! Price-- 77$ I got gel manicure and pedicure. I did French Tips because I was going to a funeral she kept wanting to do acrylic. The GEL French manicure started chipping at day 4&5 but I was at a funeral out of town. I'm so sad I spent so much $$$ and they burned my finger with acetone. (cut on cuticles) so the "owner" Emily said she's fix it. She rushed. I saw her. And asked her to seal free edge and she didn't and it lifted. I came back (7 days) asked them to fix my 6 chipped nails and they were not happy rushed "fixed" it and sent me away. Went in to get my eyebrows done and I am shocked. Never in my life had I have them done so badly. The lady completely messed them up. One end is thinner than the other. She missed so much hair on the other end as well. Didn't bother to pluck the stray hairs nor trim the length. She snipped the front on my left brow so horribly and just left it at a slant without trying to make it less noticeable. And to top it all off the section for waxing does not look that clean. I came home and had to fixed them up and make them look somewhat presentable after how she left them, so why should I even pay someone to do them if I'm just gonna end up fixing them? I never leave reviews much less bad ones but this is unbelievable, there are much better places to stop by at. She was super nice, explained the price to me ($30), and did such a good job! This was a quick pedicure, which I prefer. I don't need all the extras. The only reason this nail salon is getting 1 star is because I cannot rate ANY lower. I used to come here for YEARS a while back and after reading some of the reviews I thought MAYBE they weren't as bad as some people had rated.. everyone has a different experience and this one is mine.. Normally, I go to Lilis on Tully next to DDs and I could not get to Modesto two days ago so as a Ceres resident I decided to go back and try NailTech, After all.. It was just a fill. What could go wrong? Well.. I picked one color glitter acrylic and when she opened the container I could immediately see that it was NOT the color that was displayed, I let her put it on my fingers, then I asked her to compare. She looked at the sample and said it was the same. I asked her politely to remove it so I could choose a different color. When it came to filing the nails, there was hardly any filing what so ever, she just focused on the nail bed near my cuticles, cutting me on a few fingers. When it came to the design, I asked if they could do Cheetah print/design, she said they do it by hand. I showed her the area where I wanted the print, and after she was done, I looked at my fingers.. The design was everywhere I said I did not want it AND the cheetah print was more of a dancing flame.. My nails were left thick, it's been less than 48 hours and SOME of my nails are already lifting. I was excited because they had a large variety of glitter acrylic but was disappointed and left down by my service and my experience. Needless to say, I had to go to a different salon yesterday, pay more money (which is my fault, I SHOULD have had them fixed at Nail Tech but lost my faith.. and was running behind on time)..
