While waiting for her Dial a Ride van, she began to have trouble breathing!! She returned inside, told the owner that she was having trouble breathing and asked him to call 911 or Parimetcs. He refused to call for help. She returned outside where she called and one of his customers came out and called for her. She was also kind enough to wait with her until the paramedics came and took her to the hospital. Should a person like this salon owner , even be in a public service business? Is it ok for him to treat his customers like this? Why would he not call for help for her? It can't be because of her behavior as she was polite and tried not to disturb his customers. Was it because of her age?? Her gender?? Her race?? Or, is he just a "Disrespectful Jerk"? I don't want to support a business that treats its customers as he does. Where is this man's humanity? A customer of his , called for the ambulance for the senior lady. She was hospitalized for day. How rude of him to ignore her.. Very poor service. Very poor business practice. First was Will, I got a pedicure with regular paint. Very gentle kept checking to make sure all was well gave a really good massage very thorough painted my nails beautifully. I would like to figure out how to have a little longer soak in a little hotter water, so I need to figure out what to ask for to make that happen but other than that it was perfect. Then I got builder gel with very short tips for the first time, with Terry. They couldn't be any more perfect than they came out! Exactly what I wanted. I was going to say no polish on the top but he showed me a clear tiny bit tinted top and I agreed. I want to go out my real nails, and this will get me on my way. I like that I could relax and let them do what they do so well, without having to make small talk.. outside of checking in to make sure I'm okay and that what they were doing was good. The nails were uneven and sloppily finished, and the photos show the condition they were in when I left. I also found the salon dirty and the staff's treatment of me unacceptable. The photos show how my nails looked when I left. No customer should be sent home with work like that. When I called about a refund, the owner told me it was against store policy and offered only to fix them. I explained that I wasn't comfortable coming back after my experience, but the owner refused to refund me and hung up on me. I'm angry that I paid for nails I now need to have corrected elsewhere. Based on the quality of the work and how my complaint was handled, I would not recommend this salon.

Absolutely love this salon, they always do an amazing job each time. My last visit, I went in for a pink and white set and was not disappointed! I set an appointment with Lucy and she was phenomenal, took her time and made sure to fix any imperfections. My only concern was that I did have to wait a little while till she was done with another client, but I didn't mind waiting with how calm and relaxing the music was. Highly recommend! read more

Without warning, he started clipping them off and then used an old artificial nail to pry the remaining acrylic from my natural nail. I was looking down at my phone when I suddenly felt intense pain. When I looked up, my natural nail had been cut open and was bleeding. The technician asked if I was scared. I told him, "No, I'm not scared, I'm in pain." I also explained that this was not the proper way to remove acrylic nails. Instead of stopping, he attempted to continue. At that point, I told him not to touch my nails and that they needed to be soaked off properly. As a licensed cosmetologist and salon owner, I understand professional sanitation and safety procedures. The way my nails were being removed was unacceptable and resulted in an injury. Another staff member eventually took over, but what disappointed me most was that no one apologized for hurting me or acknowledged what had happened. Accidents can happen, but professionalism, concern for the client, and accountability matter. Unfortunately, I did not receive any of those things during my visit.

She then proceeded to threaten me and my nail tech with a gun. Shalonda, another employee, also decided to get involved and somehow I was the one in the wrong. Apparently, when my husband showed up to defend his 5-month-pregnant wife after a gun threat, that was an issue too. Two days later, the owner called my nail tech to apologize--but somehow I'm the one who is banned from the shop. Shalonda even felt the need to say she "doesn't give a [care] if that bitch is pregnant." So apparently being threatened is grounds for being banned, but threatening customers and verbally abusing employees is okay if you've been a client for 28 years? Interesting. If someone is threatening customers and employees with a firearm, maybe that person shouldn't be welcome at the place of business in the first place.
