Since it was a busy weekend, I initially gave them the benefit of the doubt and didn't think much of it. I returned to the salon to get the overcharge refunded, and the gentleman at the register provided me with a $20 store credit as compensation for the inconvenience of having to drive back to the location. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I decided to return today for another pedicure so I could use the store credit I was given at this exact location about a month ago. However, I was told that they no longer accept those cards and that I would need to go to the Floyd location to use it. I explained the situation to the same gentleman who originally gave me the store credit. He told me that they no longer use those cards and proceeded to charge me $51 for my pedicure. I explained that if I had known beforehand that I wouldn't be able to use the credit at this location, I would have simply gone to the other location to begin with. His response was essentially just a nod, and I ultimately paid to avoid any further conflict, especially since it was clear the outcome wasn't going to change. At this point, it's not about the $20 credit--it's about the principle and the lack of communication and consideration for the customer. After being inconvenienced once because of an overcharge, I returned expecting to be able to use the compensation I was given, only to find out at checkout that I couldn't. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this location. I will also be letting my family and friends who recommended this salon know about my experience and will be recommending that they visit one of the other locations instead.

This 3rd time around I planned to get a gel fill and gel pedicure with acrylic (to shape my toe nail beds) While the lady was starting on my pedicure, she stated the total would be $81 for everything. I agreed and she continued with my feet. Then, we moved on to my gel fill and at the end she wrote $121 on the receipt. I was a literally confused on the total and I asked her " Wait, I believe the total was $81" and she said " No it's $50 for acrylic powder and $31 for gel pedicure" and I was baffled. Then I said " well I've never spent that much on a pedicure and you stated $81 in the beginning" That means each toe was $5 = $50 for 10 toes to use acrylic powder on it. I have been to many salons in Los Angeles region, including Beverly Hills and I have never had a salon charge $81 for the most basic pedicure. The most I've spent along with acrylic was $60. But they were charging $81!! Not including tip. As a marketing professional that price is wayyyyy over price and they need to be a little transparent and have the management be transparent with its customers. I can see it being a huge problem in the future overcharging for some acrylic powder. Suggestion: maybe drop down the price for acrylic powder for pedicures to $2/toe. I can see that being a viable option. So that means the total for gel pedicure w acrylic powder = $51 not including tip. But anyways they did a great job but I disliked how they handled the situation especially being a new salon. I'm hesitant to return back here unless they become more transparent with pricing and list it on their menu about acrylic powder addition pricing . ALSO, my receipt said NT nails meaning this salon must be a sister salon to the NT nail salons around town apparently. Not the biggest fan of those salons either based on previous experiences there.
