Needed something basic so thought I could rely on a nail salon in town. Heard good things about KLC so decided on this place. Was able to get an appointment soon so that was nice. Got my nails done by Nancy. It was hard to communicate with her because of the language barrier which was a problem because she did not understand my requests. I asked for a very simple, clean, oat colored acrylic overlay. Easy right ? She made it very bulky, leaving a lot of space between the cuticles. Does not look natural- like I had asked. Looks good from a far I guess ? Really trying to force myself to somewhat like my nails but I know I will not be coming back. I came to this place last week because the other nail place I go to no longer does full gel set. I got a medi/pedi and the ladies Brenda and Lee did an amazing job. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Yes it's expensive but they do an awesome job. I came back today to redo my nails only because I messed them up because I wasn't used to long nails. I've come here a few times because the location is convenient but will find another place to go after my last two visits. Had a gel manicure done a few weeks ago, was incredibly rushed. Nails were filed, trimmed, painted and I was sent on my way - no lotion, oil, massage, nothing. For $30, I expected a bit more - I've received better service paying $10 for a regular manicure. It was 6pm, people were filing in and I could overhear people even with appointments having to wait because they accepted walk-ins before them without having the staff to get through them fast enough. I came back this week to have the gel polish removed - asked for the least damaging way possible but still ended up getting it filed away. Rushed through it and charged me $10 - didn't bother to clean up my nails afterwards or anything. I won't be back. read more

Do not come here. Me and my mother seen it was a new place and despite the negative reviews, came to check it out. We should have stuck to Vicky's Nails out on Pelandale Ave. My mom is sitting next to me, I see blood coming from her finger and Lee trying to close the wound with a little piece of napkin and a old and used crusty super glue. My mom complained about the pain and Lee says it's "just a small cut". Charlie says that's how you fix it. I mention to him I used to do nails and that's not proper. He got an attitude and you better believe he started to tidy up once he knew I knew protocol. Once he heard my mom talking to Lee, his quality of work worsened. They started speaking in their language and at that point I couldn't take the disrespect anymore. I didn't let him finish my nails. Press ons from the dollar tree are shaped better. Quite frankly, they need to LISTEN to what the customer wants and refrain from using the word UGLY more than 2 or 3 times to start. At that point it starts to get offensive. I paid $25 for this (the clear ones) not even done. My moms (white tips) were suppose to be $35 but after the blood spill, only came out to $30. read more

Ive been here before with good experiences when I got pedicures in the past. One of the owners has always done the pedi. Today it was busy, short wait. They have hired new employees. The new guy that did my nails was rude and did a horrible job! This is the worst I have ever seen from any salon. To be fair I havent talked to the owners about this. I was also over charged by 5 or so. Nothing like spending $30 on a nail job that makes you want to cry. He butchered my nails filing with a corse file my nail bed. I have never had gel polished removed this way, always soaked off. Let me file my tips telling me I do a better job than him! His were all crooked! Tried to blame me for how bad they turned out 'cause you get your nail done too much' he told me. 2nd time in over a year or more. I didnt think it could get worse...but he also filed my tips more narrow and now most of my nails are starting to rip into my nail bed! I am adding pictures of a few days later.
