I have two separate experiences to share, one was decent and somewhat positive and the other one completely mediocre. On Sunday I went in to get a pedicure which went decent, but the value for the hefty price of $65.00 was not worth plain white gel polish. I get a better service and more precise and clean work for $50.00. Then I decided to go in for manicure two days later. I was very clear and communicated that I wanted to keep my natural nails but to use dip powder or acrylic powder, no tips. I sat down and repeated the same information to the nail tech. She acknowledged my request and showed her a picture of what I wanted. What was the first thing she does? Cuts my nails lol I was plain shocked and stunned at this point. I let it go and let her continue. Then she puts on tips and continued to her mediocre work. At the end I was left with nails looking like a five year old did them. I'm just so over nail salons who over promise, don't listen to what you are asking them for, and then charge you unbelievably hefty price on top. This set cost $65.00. Again, my nail tech in Modesto does a spectacular job for $45.00. The owner asked me how I liked my nails and I just smiled and said good. At this point it was too late. Will I go back again? I had a great experience the first time I came here. I purchased the most expensive package, and the service was excellent, which is why I decided to come back. Unfortunately, my second visit was completely different. This time I chose the second-cheapest package because I was short on time, and the level of service was nowhere near the same. The technician applied a color I didn't like, and when I asked if it could be changed, she aggressively drilled the polish off. She drilled so deeply that she went through my nail and exposed my nail bed. It started bleeding, and now my nail is raw, painful, and stings whenever I walk or put pressure on it. To make matters worse, after injuring my nail, they still tried to charge me full price, including for additional services that I never received because I had to stop the appointment due to the injury. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the way this situation was handled was unacceptable. I left in pain, with an injured nail, and without any concern or fair resolution from the staff. I asked for a pedicure with a pink base coat and brown French tip, shaped taper squared, but the design didn't come out like the inspiration photo I showed. I really liked this place before, but this visit left me disappointed. The man who worked on me was very kind and hardworking, but there was a language barrier when it came to the design and shape. He asked the lady at the front (who was eating sunflower seeds) for help, and when she came over, she aggressively pulled the toe separators off my feet and seemed flustered. That didn't feel welcoming at all. He finished with a massage that felt pretty mediocre. Honestly, the main reason I came back was because the lady who did my pedicure last time gave me the best massage I just can't remember her name. I paid $55, and as someone who is pregnant, I also expected a little more care or consideration, but it wasn't there. If you can't do a shape or design, I'd rather be told "no" than have my time and money wasted. People come to places like this for a service, and we deserve for that service to be done with professionalism and care. My sister asked if my daughter could sit in the chair next to her, which seemed like a simple request. After the service was finished, Lonnie tried to charge me for a full pedicure for my daughter who had only sat in the chair and had her nails painted. I came back here the second time for my Valentines Day nails, with high hopes due to my prior experience. I'm sad to say I'm disappointed and won't likely be coming back here.
