I came to Gorgeous Nails today for the first time and had the BEST experience! The woman who did my pedicure did such a perfect job; she didn't hurt me, didn't make my nails crooked, and was so sweet. The woman who did my fill took her time, cut away my cuticles (which most salons don't do for a fill), and gave me a great shape to my nail. What made this place stand out was it was CLEAN, the staff was kind and not grumpy, and they took their time to make sure my nails looked good. They also play very relaxing music- it was pleasant. 3.5/5 stars. Got a gel French manicure. The French tip was thin as requested and looked nice overall. I'm subtracting 1/2 star due to it not lasting as long as usual. A gel manicure usually lasts me at least 2 weeks, but after I got it done here it started chipping at day 8. Service was a bit slow, but that's to be expected at most nail salons. I came on a Saturday at 9:03am (they open at 9). Didn't get out the door till 10:30 am. I had an okay experience here, but probably will try another salon next time. read more

My daughter needed her eyebrows waxed and Gorgeous Nails is next to my house so I called. Lady was nice who answered the phone. Luckily she was able to get us in that day. When we arrived we didn't have to wait long for us to go back to the waxing room. The girl who did my daughter's eyebrows was super friendly!! Unfortunately I forgot to get her name , next time. Update as of 10/27/21: It has been a minute since I made a review for this nail salon so I figured now was a great time to update due to my most recent visit today. My experiences here have always been amazing and it is great to work with all the staff here. My girlfriend was looking to get a wax done for underarms and I recommended her to come here. We called ahead of time and got in touch with the owner Diemmy. She was so kind and accommodating with our schedule that she managed to squeeze us in 10 minutes from our phonecall. 10 MINUTES!!! At first I thought it was because maybe their shop was slow on a Wednesday evening, but upon walking in I see that every staff technician has a customer. Diemmy immediately got us set up in the back room waxing station. I got kicked out of the room for privacy reasons, but my girlfriend said the whole experience was fantastic. As someone who has never done a wax before she felt very safe, informed, and satisfied of the whole process. She said Diemmy was very professional and made sure she was comfortable enough during the course. The wax wasn't too hot and aftermath was bearable. The price was inexpensive and super affordable. Overall, great experience and she says she will come back for all her future waxing services! read more

I've been going there over 10 years. This is my first Review! The management is professional & very friendly. But, my girl is Helen! Helen does my nails & pedicures. She makes sure every thing is clean! I've had nail tips, gel and regular manicures. I like it when Helen remembers my name "Denise" as well as remembering my touchy spots on my feet too, eh? Lol. She gives a very good hand massage & her #3 pedicure is Absolutely WONDERFUL! Her foot massage lasts longer than most which makes all the difference! It's like truly a Spa experience. I have been going here for several years and they have been fine, but my recent visit was very disappointing. I went with my daughter who is an adult. We had an appointment. They didn't put water in my daughter's basin for the pedicure, she waited for over a half hour as 4 other people that walked in after were taken care of. We mentioned this, and they didn't care. Went to this place for the first time the other day. Decided to check it out based on all of the amazing reviews, and sadly my experience was nothing like anyone else's who comes here. The second I walked in the door I felt very unwelcome. EVERYONE stared at me and made me feel so uncomfortable. Then, I had to wait while other walkins came and got seen before me because those clients were known on a first name basis. Now for my manicure, great color, but one of my nails on my right hand is already chipped and it's only been like 4 days or so since they've been done. I have been coming here for years, there was a different owner back then and it was cash only, some of the ladies here back then did an amazing work, others not so great... BUT with the new owner they kept the really good ones and brought some good quality nail ladies too! I tried many different salons because this one is a little far from home and i Cant find one that comes close to this one. Not kidding here! So i drive 40 minutes to this little awesome place. Nails last over 3 weeks or more if you want to keep them longer, they dont break, chip, scratch, they stay intact!!!! I had an appointment for a pedicure and arrived on time. I was seated at a station. Four women arrived after me and receive pedicures before me. These women did not have an appointment. I let the people know I had an appointment, and I arrived before the other four women, they did nothing about it. I would not recommend this salon. I started coming here faithfully for the last 11 years. I started coming on a regular basis for the last 10 years with my daughter.... she was months old at the time... and now 10! We love spending time together and enjoy the quality pedicures here. I started opting for GEL coatings and boy does it last!!! Foot Massages are great and include hot stones...quick but nice. Pedicure is about $20 or $25 I can't remember..... Cash for tips. They do get busy on the weekends... I try to go right when they open. read more

However, they need to review these recommendations: *Don't answer phone when with a customer *Floors and baseboards are dirty (get Bissell Crosswave to Scrub Floors) *No Vietnamese in shop, unless worker only speaks Vietnamese *All wall postings to be uniform *Chairs dirty, particularly the bases *Stations and shop are reverting to being cluttered *Plastic shields dirty and not part of regular cleaning *Seems like too many color choices and colors are not fresh *Sign to put all phones on silent and enforce this rule *Regular person to answer phones and schedule appts. *All customers should be groomed to schedule next appt. *Phone etiquette for speaking to customers, which includes no speaker phone when talking to customers *Don't get hot stones for another person, the rocks cool too quickly I like coming here and hope they continually improve. read more

Had been going here for over 7 years now and sadly this past year the service has not been great. They currently have a woman working there who does not seem like she is certified to be doing the work and she has no idea what she is doing. She does the sloppiest work and all the other employees are constantly having to hover over her to see what she is doing and or translating for her. Sad to say won't be returning after so many years. Last week, I forgot to take my personal bottle of nail polish with me after my pedicure. I went back the following day thinking it might have just gotten placed on the shelves, but it hadn't. Staff are Very accommodating but very careless. I have had my nails done three times. Twice for acrylic fills and one time for acrylic removal and polish. Last two times all my fingers had cuts on them from the emery board. I don't think a manicure and polish should be painful for a week after. I will not go back. read more

Such an amazing salon, I love coming with my mum & sister for some quality girl time. Everyone is always so very kind & welcoming not to mention my my gel manicure is going 3 weeks strong with no breaking or cracking of my gel polish. I've been coming here since I was in high school because one of my peer's parents were the owners. I always care back because I was meet with kindness, smiles, and good customer service. I would always recommend this place to all my friends and family. I was never disappointed with my service. I'm honestly really sad that this place is under new ownership. I usually never have a problem with my service but today was different. The manicurist I had didn't greet me with a smile or asked me how I was. I felt like my hands were getting man-handled and as if she didn't care if she did good job or not. It was actually painful on my fingers and the massage was not relaxing at all. It's that time of the month again. No, I don't mean a visit from Aunt Flo. It's pedi time! Yay! I love pedicures like most girlie girls do. I love this place. Have been coming here for years. The ladies here are very kind and do a great job. They are very good people! Unfortunately, the new owner does not meet the accustomed expectations. I have been here and seen her fall asleep at her table. Her demeanor is not as classy and genuine as the other ladies. Like I said, I have been coming here for years and know they only take cash tips. So I always bring cash. When I pull out my card she is very hesitant to take it and tries to explain to me in a childish/embarrassed way (which is more annoying than anything) that I can't leave a tip. The worst service ever had shellac over my own nails which had several bumps after having my nails done. I asked Loan (employee) to correct it and she consistently told me my nail was ok however after I put up a fight since I always pay her 10.00 tip each time which I Had to remind her she finally fixed it which it only took 3 min.
