Very nice people, wonderful pedicures but it would be wise to make a appointment sometime to many walk-ins

I have been a consistent customer at this nail salon, visiting approximately every two weeks for my French tip manicures. During my visit around the 8th, after my nails were finished, I politely asked if I could use the restroom. I was told, "No, you have to pay first." I was taken aback by this response, especially as a returning customer who has continued to support this business. The way the situation was handled made me feel singled out and as though I was not being treated with the same trust and respect as other customers. It left me feeling uncomfortable and concerned that I may have been treated differently. I believe every customer should be treated with courtesy and fairness, and I hope the salon takes this experience seriously and considers how interactions like this can impact customers. read more

I have been a customer for years. The shop is in Escalon. I see Anne. She is polite, fun and an excellent technician. She is efficient, caring and careful.All of the ladies and a gentleman are great. Pedicure: price reasonable. Nails turned out beautiful. Massage not so great Scheduling appointment Called this Friday morning and asked for a pedicure they told me they were busy but to come in at 12:30. Only had to wait 15 minutes once I arrived. Location inside there is about 7 pedicure chairs and about 4 nail stations. The place is small and long. They made changes due to Covid with plastic partitions separating you and the nail tech. Prices The prices are reasonable. I got the D3 pedicure Laura's spa pedicure for $35 plus additional $5 for French pedicure. It's just like the express pedicure which is $25 but for an extra $10 you receive intensive calluse treatment which they use a hard purple pumice like stone for, exfoliation, cooling gel paraffin wax and hot towels. Services I had a lady named Sue . She mainly did effleurage massage up and and down the anterior part of my leg and didn't massage my feet just pounded them a few times with a tight fist. Very disappointing. So after she was done with the massage I asked her if she could massage the bottom of my feet and she did spend a few extra minutes on each foot. Much appreciated but still not that great, she did her best. She put pressure on the tibia bone and kept doing the same moves over and over. I'm a massage therapist and massage teacher myself so I like good massages and I almost told her to just stop the massage but didn't want to insult her. Horrible manicure. She cut me pretty bad and it looks so messy overall. Somehow did an okay job with the pedicure though. Definitely wouldn't recommend. read more

Just got my nails painted after having a full set. I opted out of having a manicure but I was surprised that she still took the time to file my nails & put cuticle oil on afterwards which is part of a manicure. I got gel & she did 3 coats! They look great. The gal who did them was really nice, quick & did a great job. I will definitely return for my next pedicure. Expensive . They take off your gel nails with a motorized file. They have one person that does a pedicure and other than that does manicure. The gal that did the pedicure kept cutting my cuticles and hurting me and she just kept she spent 45 minutes on my cuticles on my toes that's ridiculous plus my nails are all lumpy looking from the residual of the Gel underneath would not recommend this place. read more

Friendly staff, reasonable prices - great w/ walk-ins & lower price for children. Waxing also, although I've never tried. Open until 7, so nice if coming from work. LOVE massage spa chair - sometimes I fall asleep! Have seen men in here, too. Not a "girly" salon - simple, clean, relaxing. I am very very happy with the Mani/spa Pedi I got for $28. Amy did my service & she was awesome! Amy took her time to really clean my nails, she was very thorough. Although there were other walk- ins, she did not rush the job just to get another customer in. I really appreciated that. The place is clean & well kept as well as the implements that they use. The fact that I had found a nail place where I live is a big plus and to be able to support a local business no less! I'm so glad I no longer have to go to Modesto to get my nails done where the services are so rushed because they are trying to get as many customers as possible. Imagine that, saving on gas & not having to deal with traffic on a day when you treat & pamper yourself! I am definitely recommending this place to friends & families. read more

Best experience ever!! I went in for a pedicure and my helper was the Male worker ( i didnt ask for his name ) But he was very sweet! I got the pedicure A3 with the hot towels and lotion massage and it was amazing. He was very gentle and kind. When he was painting my toes i had chosen a very light pink color and he said he would do a darker pink since it was too light. He offered to put another color and was very kind. Great environment, great experience, and great staff. I will definitely come again. Recommend this place to everyone! :)5 ***** stars! read more

I came here today for a pedicure. I haven't had one in about 6 years. I actually tried to go to another place in town, by Subway first, but they turned me away because they said they were too busy. Happy nails had one less employee working, with about the same amount of customers and welcomed me with no problems. They let me know what the wait time was and made sure I didn't mind waiting. I felt like this was a much better response than that other place. I got the spa pedicure and it was awesome! They have several different pedicures to choose from. I got the 2nd most basic one, but I was so tempted to try the one with hot rocks! I will save that for next time. This place isnt super fancy, but the services they provide make you feel like you are in one of those fancy high-end salons. I have paid over $40 for the same pedicure I got today for $27. I also brought my son who is almost 6 because he is out of school for the summer. The ladies were very kind to him and even him sit closer to me instead of waiting in the waiting area. I picked a red glittery nail polish with blue specks in it for 4th of july. The lady doing my pedicure let me know that the glitter wouldnt show up very dark on my nails so she suggested a red coat under the glitter. My polish came out beautifully and I didn't even get charged extra for using two polishes. Overall, this was a great place. I spent almost 2 hours in here, which was longer than I expected, but they were very busy, so its understandable. If you are pressed for time, I would definitely make an appointment. I almost drove to Riverbank or Modesto because I wasnt sure of the quality I would receive from Escalon...but now I know I just have to go right down the street for a great one! read more

I am very happy with my manicure and deluxe pedicure. My nails look beautiful and the entire treatment was very relaxing. Even thought the salon was busy, they were very accommodating with an appointment time that was convenient for me. The salon was clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. read more
