Today was my first time at NT Nail Spa. I came in a little nervous because I've tried a handful of nail salons in Modesto and have not been fully satisfied with any! The person that took care of me was OUTSTANDING! From service to accommodation, attention to detail and communication (because at most places they won't actually conversate with you, but amongst each other). His work was great, he helped me match the color from a Pinterest image I had. He was taking his time working on me even though there was a couple of other customers walking in, he didn't make me feel rushed. My 4 year old daughter had her hands painted with regular polish for $7 by a different person. At check out I was rung out by a different man, he asked "how much tip for two?" Which I didn't like because I'm a believer of tips being earned and not a mandatory from customers.. it just didn't feel right for him to ask directly like that. Mind you, I'm already prepared to tip both of them separately with cash, Besides the check out, I had a good experience and do plan to return! I apologize for forgetting my nail tech's name I want to say it was Henry or Harold, something with an H! But I honestly can't remember I'm so sorry!

I recently moved to the Central Valley and is in the market for a new nail salon. I found NT thru yelp and decided to give them a try. I took myself and my 8 year old for a full set of gel x and pedicures. The place is clean and person in the front was really nice and welcoming. The women did excellent service with our pedicures. Tommy did a phenomenal job with my daughter's ghost face Halloween nails. Unfortunately, my set was disappointing. The design lifted before we even left the salon. My nails looked rushed and uneven. We probably won't return. read more

It was my first experience here! My friend and I decided to get our nails done last minute before a concert. They did their job thoroughly, and efficiently! I was offered to get my toes done in the meantime as I wait for my friend to finish, she did great!! It's clean, bright, and very aesthetic in here. They have some music playing and a tv to keep you occupied in the meantime. Would highly recommend!! Will be coming back. If I'm not mistaken, my nail tech's name is Mia! Called and spoke to front desk associate after being referred by coworker to see male tech for service. Was clear about referral, front desk advised this particular tech does not take appointments but only walk ins and was advised to come in. Upon coming in and being walked to chair, a few minutes passed and the receptionist informed me the male nail tech will not provide service because I am a male. After an uncomfortable and awkward conversation for clarification, I left while the nail tech was squatting in front of the building smoking a cigarette. I Have received service from both male/female techs over the years and it's a common service but called for this tech after a referral. I couldn't care less regardless of gender, but principle makes a difference. The owner responded implying it was a strange request. The nail tech & owner seem to sexual this basic hygienic service with their choice of words. Words that are both bizarre, alarming and quite short sighted considering we should look past the profession of a nail tech as a female associated profession. Nonetheless I would not want to receive a service from someone who feels uncomfortable doing their job. Awful communication, no accountability & extremely ignorant & shallow frame of mind in regard to running a business. I will not be returning and neither will the coworker who recommend him. read more

I had a really disappointing experience here due to how unprofessional one of the staff members was. I came in with my daughter for a manicure and pedicure. When it was time for my daughter's manicure, they assigned a staff member who was extremely rude and clearly did not want to do my daughter's nails. She made it obvious through her attitude and then told the nail tech who was doing my nails to do my daughter's instead. At that point, I told them it was okay and that we wouldn't be doing my daughter's manicure anymore because the experience had already become uncomfortable. Afterward, the nail tech who worked on me came out and apologized for her coworker's behavior, which I appreciated, but the situation should never have happened in the first place. I expect professionalism and basic kindness, especially when it comes to children. Unfortunately, this experience left a bad impression, and I will not be returning. read more

Avoid this place at all costs! They overcharge for everything, and the service is appalling. The older man, who might be the owner, is extremely rude and dismissive. They don't listen to your preferences and seem to care more about making money than about your satisfaction or the health of your nails. I initially came here a month ago, and they did a fantastic job by keeping the powder on my nails as I was trying to grow them out. But yesterday was a completely different story--they trimmed my nails down to nothing, making me look like a little boy. They removed all the powder and insisted I needed a full set with gel to achieve the look I wanted. When I asked if they could simply add a little powder and tips for my event and slowly transition my nails back to their original beds over time, I was rudely told, "No, we don't do that here!" What's frustrating is they did do exactly that during my previous visit! It's clear they only care about squeezing more money out of you and not about your happiness or the appearance of your nails. Don't waste your time or money here! read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! They only care about racking in the money and don't care if the client walks out with what they actually desired or not. I walked in there and let them know I want a gel manicure and that I had builder gel...which just to soak it off is $15 extra for that and $35 dollars for a gel manicure. Then I told them I wanted to get a design (which was so simple and basic) and the lady doing my nails couldn't even do that. I told her it's fine to not bother with the design. The guy that is in the front IDK if he's the owner or just a worker there...doesn't care about the customer and the concerns they have at all. read more

I hate to give away the name of my new favorite nail tech, but Trish KILLED it! We had a few mishaps when I forgot to tell her that I had on dip nail powder from before, but she was so patient, kind and helpful. She helped come up with a new design that looks INCREDIBLE. I've always been skeptical with trying new places, but seeing Trish was the best decision I have made! Also want to shout out the gentlemen at the front desk. They are always so sweet and welcoming. I don't want to give no stars because the nails were cute and exactly what I asked for.... except for the fact that they lifted not even an entire day later. I got them done Wednesday 07/02, and I drove by today 07/04 to get them fixed, of course it's closed. The tech was friendly, but all the stations and the entire place was unorganized and filthy. The tech used clearly dirty tools on my hands. The file still had residue from previous clients and all he did was tap the desk to dust it off the nail file. This is the second time coming here, and the first time I wasn't impressed and only came here because it was on my way home and decided to give them another chance. I wouldn't come here again. $70 for nails that don't even last a week, not even 48hours read more

I would assume getting both nostrils done with a nose wax service. $18 isn't bad for eye brow thread but $25 for nose wax is ridiculous and had I known she meant that much for that service I would have trimmed them myself. I guess i came across this place by an accident. but boyyyyyyyy. i have to say this is the best Nail spa in the world because of the amount of staffs they have... i got a design Full Set done by a guy, i don't know his name. but he was very talented. didn't make me bleed. and his art skills off the charts. i also got a pedicure and it was by a lady... she actually watch the timer and perform all the tasks on the pedi charts. I recommend Sisk road next to fish and chips.. they have good vibes and customer service... thank very much again... I'll see u every 3 weeks for my rest of my life. read more

Yo, dog went to visit my family in the central valley. it was my girl , homegirls birthday 2 weeks ago. I had to do something nice for them girls... we did like a party of 10 service. some girls got feet and toes. us homies. just did the feet. they have mad options. what the hell ? 9 different types of pedicures ? Yo homies saying this place is hella big and nice brah. The service is straight fire DOg. Yo they did i mention, they serve wine of the house ? free wifi too ... I'M LA and this dont have any nails salon like this. I go to tim for my nails and lucky for me feet I highly recommend them both and to be honest I wouldn't go anywhere else they listen to what I want even with the language barrier tim makes sure What he's doing is what I want or almost perfect to what I ask for he always asks how my day is going it feels good to know he enjoys me as a client and it isn't just a job. now lucky he makes love to my feet sad to say but I've been to maybe 15 different pedicure tech in Modesto and I wouldn't go anywhere else he takes his time and actually scrubs my feet! Well, it's a rainy day and I thought I'll do errands and take care of my personal care service day would be fitting in my schedule. I did a walk-in and the salon was busy. I only waited 5 mins because I see that they have a lot staffs... I look at the colors while waited and was guided to the pedicure chair. I'm extremely surprised how big this beautiful decor nail salon. I choose the #4 paraffin deluxe. I like how the tools are new and the special pedicure is all open box in front of you. I went to this nt nail on Friday's after they refused services at coffee rd nt nail. They told me cuz my toe nail was half black they refuse service. And I was like I always go to the sisk rd one and they never have any problem. So she kicked me out and said go to sisk rd. At sisk rd Tracy did my toes and she was such a nice tech. I had to leave her a $10 tip cuz she was super friendly. Then I got my manicure by Julie and she was also very friendly. Even the front desk guy is really nice and make you feel welcome. I will never go to coffee rd nt nails again but always the one by the mall. read more

I tried NT salon for the first time because my daughter offered to treat me to a pedicure and a full set of nails. We had an amazing time. I didn't get the names of the women who helped me the first time, but I can say that my gel French nails stayed in place for a month and they were beautiful. I was so impressed that I came back again. This time Kevin did my fill. He was friendly AND funny but more importantly he did a beautiful job on my nails. My French fill was lovely. Now if this fill lasts as long as my original set, they will have won a customer for life! read more

I've been to NT nail on Sisk road, a few times now and i absolutely love it!! Julie does an incredible job making the ideas I bring her a reality. I've always wanted to go to someone who could do Pinterest level nails and I found her. Julie takes the designs and adds her own special touch, she is an artist. The vibe is great and Julie does a mini photo session at the end of the service and posts them to Instagram and TikTok, it really makes the experience fun. When I walked in to this awesome establishment, I knew right away I found my new nail salon :) Everything is so clean and sparkly ! So, I had no idea what I wanted to do , the nail tech helped me by suggesting a few great ideas. I ended up going with Ombré Pink and White Coffin. OMG so beautiful! Amazing customer service, very very impressed. Went here 40 minutes before closing time and they went not upset in the slightest and I felt very welcomed. Not for a moment did they seem to be rushing or irritated. With in 5 minutes of my friend's nails getting started, a nice gentleman brought us cold water bottles.
