Lulu's is a brunch favorite. I hadn't been in years, but it is still as good today, as it was back in the VCU undergrad years. The only difference now? We can drink Food/Drinks: I had the Crab Omelette, which came with potatoes. I added a side of the cheese grits. Everything was pretty good. The omelette was cooked well and full of crab. The potatoes were well seasoned and really delicious. I am really picky with grits and they were a hit for me. Definitely a nice savory, cheesy flavor. We got a Brazilian Mimosa Pit here and Green Tea Shots. All great. Service: Our waitress was awesome. She was really fun to interact with and checked in often. Overall Vibe: The restaurant was calm today, but it was a weekday. I could see the restaurant being busier on the weekends. The atmosphere was lively, but easy to converse in. Parking could easily bring things down. You would have to snag street parking, most likely. If you are not comfortable with a parallel park, maybe...rethink or carpool. You could, also, make your visit on a weekday. You might be able to find ample room to avoid the stress of a tight squeeze.

I go to this restaurant if I'm looking for a weekend brunch with great vibes and music. It's usually pretty busy so I recommend making a reservation. I started with a tropical mimosa and they definitely know how to make it! I absolutely love the French toast. Their batter is unmatched and the portion size is great. I love the fruit, butter, and other toppings that come in the side as well. This time I got a chicken to go with it for extra protein. Lulu's is a brunch staple and I'll definitely be back!

Got a recommendation from a close friend so after a business mtg I decided brunch was the way to go. You heard it here first: If you go there and don't get the French toast you misunderstood the assignment! I had to start there because it was that good. Soft fluffy, thiccccc lol, with fresh strawberries, house made strawberry jam, some sort of maple butter situation AND maple syrup! And yes I used all of them! Side of bacon and a mimosa and I was a happy man. The area is nice, walkable which is good because it looks like parking can be tricky depending on what time you go. The ambiance is casual, lively and social. I sat at the bar because I was solo and not planing on sticking around long and the Bartender was working her tail off! Serving drinks, taking food and drink orders, checking back on me and others to see what we needed, she was doing it all! I will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Lulu's is a bit hard to find, as it's in a mall area with no signage from the street. We actually asked two men we saw on the street where it was! It's also very popular -- so much so that we were told we'd have to wait 2 hours to sit inside! So, on a very cool Sunday morning, our party of 6 had to sit outside on the patio. There were heaters, but they weren't all that strong because of the wind. They have quite a variety on their menu, and if you don't want the meals they offer, it's very easy to put together something else (as my sister did). I had the red velvet waffle, which was really good. It came with fruit on it, and the sauces it came with (cream cheese with pecan, fruit jam, syrup, and butter) were just glorious. Others in my party also enjoyed what they ordered -- especially the spiked coffee drinks! Lulu's is definitely a place to check out!

Unfortunately, Lulu's was underwhelming. I was really excited to try brunch here and had heard quite a few positive things about it, so I'm hopeful today was a one-off. To begin, the reservation was made for the café area, but we were seated in the main dining area. Not the end of the world but also not what was reserved. Then it took a waiter about 20 minutes to take our drink order or even greet us at all. Our food also took a bit longer than usual, but it was peak brunch hour so that wasn't a dealbreaker. However, the food itself was very meh. The "crab" omelette, which was supposed to be jumbo lump crab and goat cheese, was all goat cheese. There were exactly TWO pieces of what looked to be special crab meat, but certainly not jumbo lump. For the chicken and biscuit, the chicken was so overcooked you basically had to cut it like a steak. Ultimately, it was inedible. The sausage gravy was okay, but since it was already on the biscuit and not exactly smothered the biscuit was still pretty dry. I didn't even bother with the potatoes. I'm willing to give it one more try before I write them off completely.

A friend of mine and I try to meet up about every few months. We meet in the Richmond area. We always try to meet up at a new spot. This trip we tried Lulu's. Parking is easier than I personally made it. Ha! 2-3 hour parking is available on the street. There is also a public parking lot just a block away, within viewing distance from the front door. My 4 hours parking in the lot was just over $10. I booked a reservation online with no issue about a week out. We opted for outdoors since it was going to be gorgeous. We were seated immediately on their second patio which is a little smaller with about 4 tables. It was perfect, and quiet. Good area for catching up. Our waiter was great. He had tables both inside and outside and managed them well. I never wondered where he was or needed to wait to ask for something. Now the food. It lives up to the popularity. I opted for the chicken biscuit. It had great flavors throughout. The grits were perfect! The red velvet waffle strawberry shortcake waffle was very filling and heavy. My friend's apple bread pudding was the best of the two! All our food was cooked perfectly. Our favorite savory meal was the Crab Omelette. I've never had one before, but will consider ordering one in the future. Overall our visit was good.

Wow. They had me at Fried chicken and red velvet waffle. Stupendous. The gravy had just a bit of heat, chicken had perfect crunchy coating, waffle was moist and yummy. And the hash browns, oh, the hash browns. So much flavor. (It came with scrambled eggs, but that was too much food for me and so I shared.) Everyone was happy with their choices, service was excellent, and I loved the vibe.

The food at LuLu's, Absolutely amazing. I had the chicken and red velvet waffle breakfast, and it was perfection. The chicken was crispy and flavorful, and Lulu's, velvet waffle had just the right amount of sweetness and it paired really well with the potatoes and onions. Honestly, I couldn't have been happier with the meal itself. But the service and setup? That's where the ball was dropped. It was December, and they only had outdoor seating available for the times my friends and I wanted to eat. There was only one heat lamp for per tablee, and when we asked if they could add another, they said they couldn't. So we were left sitting in the cold because one lamp just wasn't enough to keep us warm. On top of that, the wind was blowing napkins off the table, which made it hard to fully enjoy the meal. The waiter also didn't come outside very often, probably because of how cold it was. But if it's too cold for the staff, it's definitely too cold for the guests. Adding something like a plastic tent to block the wind and keep the heat in could have made the whole experience so much better. It just felt like they weren't equipped to handle outdoor dining during the winter. So overall, Lulu's gets 3 stars from me. The food was incredible, but the service and setup need serious improvement if they're going to keep offering outdoor seating in the colder months. I'd definitely be back to dine inside or when the weather is warmer the next time I'm in Richmond.

Omg..so much food! I made my own breakfast with a bisuit, fried chicken, pimento grits and a side of pimento cheese with a blood orange moonshine mimosa. Took most of the food to go and had breakfast for 3 days. Super nice staff too

We agreed with such a warm smile when a group of us decided that we wanted to grab brunch at this place. We heard about called Lulu's. The decor was so nice and I love the steam punk vibe of the environment. We decided that we were all hungry but wanted to try different things so we ordered a little bit of everything for brunch. There were so many great options for people who were vegan or vegetarian those who are pescatarian those who were meat eaters. It was so much to choose from. The things that I enjoyed the most were the delicious grits as well as this pecan cream cheese that was so flavorful and nice. If you're in the area or have people visiting from out of town, I think that Lulu's would be a great place to bring friends and family.

As a lover of brunch, this place definitely hit the spot! I got the fried chicken & red velvet waffle which was delicious! The fried chicken was perfectly seasoned and was even better paired with the gravy. The potatoes that came with it were a little salty for my liking but overall the dish was amazing. I also tried my friend's scrambled eggs with lobster biscuit which was very tasty as well. Definitely make a reservation beforehand as the place gets packed. The only complaints I have is the wait time for the food and since the place is small and packed, it can get loud and hard to hear what others are saying. read more

Today would have been my fourth time coming and my last. While me and my friends were waiting for our food, we saw the bartender using her ungloved hands to manipulate the ice in a cup (ie putting her fingers in the cup to push the ice down and mix slightly). When management was told they were seen laughing about it instead of apologizing or reassuring correction. Makes me wonder how everything is done here. read more

Stumbled across this little place for brunch and it was completely packed but I can see why as the food was absolutely amazing! The staff moved around like a well oiled machine banging out generous sized craft Bloody Mary's and Mimosas, and expertly floating orders through crowds of customers. We ordered the Chicken and Red Velvet Waffles and the crab eggs Benedict; they were presented like works of art, much like the restaurant's eclectic decor. Highly recommend checking this place out; make reservations in advance to score a table during brunch hours otherwise, bring a buddy to keep you occupied while you wait for a bar seat. I hear rave reviews about this spot and finally tried it out. I am sooo happy I did. Although there was about a 25 min wait to be seated it was well worth it. I had the crab omelet that was packed with crab meat and the famous red velvet waffles that were to die for. The pecan spread was delicious. The mimosas were also great. The atmosphere was diverse. My friend ordered the chicken and waffles which I was a bit disappointed to see, it looked like he had little nuggets not a piece of chicken. We were seated close to closing time so I'm thinking they used what they had left for his meal. read more

Tried Sunday brunch twice here this month and my only conclusion is that this place is way overrated. Both times the restaurant struggled with inconsistent and cold food and mediocre service. A side of bacon which I paid extra for was delivered with several strips burned and black and at least one completely raw. On my second visit, being seated next to the kitchen what I saw explained a lot; the pass was full, almost overflowing with a dozen or more plates of food that had been finished and not taken to their tables yet. These plates sat there for quite awhile before finally being picked up. The kitchen staff was very quiet and everyone seemed to be doing their own thing with no coordination. read more

Excellent food, great drinks, tight tables, and iffy table seating policies. We had a reservation for 7 people, 2 of us arrived super early. We were told everyone needed to arrive before being sat, so we waited outside. Totally understandable, and it's posted on the wall by the door, I don't have a problem with that part of the policy. There was an accident on the highway right at the exit, so everyone ended up getting stuck and running late. At 11am on the dot the host comes outside to make a call and tells a voice mail that the party of 16 needs to arrive by 11:15am to have the table held. Host then gets off the phone and tells *US* we need to have everyone there by 11:10am. Totally confused by the different seating policies of why they'd be told an extra 5 minutes from us. We ended up telling the host we'd order for the missing folks, at that point we had 5 of the 7 ready to go. We were put at a 6 top with a chair crammed at the end. The 2-top next to us had to deal with our 7th's hair hanging right over their plates. I feel kind of bad for them, plus I think they were on a first date. But we all tried to joke about it and make the best of a very uncomfortable situation The waitress was fantastic. She really hustled as much as she could, because the place was seriously JAM PACKED. They have a great brunch drink menu, we each enjoyed our various choices. Our brunch food selections were equally as yummy, I particularly liked the breakfast potatoes. Though the food and beverages are amazing, I just don't come here that much because of the way they seat parties. I suppose as long as you 1. make a reservation, 2. come in the same car, and 3. only have an even number of guests, it would probably be better all around. read more

Okay, we went here again yesterday and while the food was delicious, the waitress seemed incredibly busy and dropped the check as soon as we received our entrees. I don't want to eat somewhere where I feel rushed, especially at brunch when you've just served me a strong mimosa. read more

I tried LuLu's for the first time this past Sunday and to be honest I was expecting better. I was so excited to try their red velvet waffle but it didn't live up to expectations. I had the red velvet chicken and waffle meal. We also ordered the Atlantic omelet. They do have a limited menu right now so make sure to take note of that. I believe an in house experience would be better. Also there was miscommunication when we ordered over the phone because they over charged us and give us two Atlantic omelets instead of one. Hoping to have a better experience next time. read more

Me-this is our first time here, any suggestions for a vegetarian? Server-I'm a vegetarian (rattles off four of her favorite) Me- wow, what's your name? Server- Gin as in Gin and Juice. Me-Hooked...a server with personality! #Priceless The Mrs had chicken and red velvet waffles. I had the TOA omelette added spinach. Both of our meals were SUPREME, two years I've been in Richmond, Va and I didn't find this pearl until a week before we are moving further East! I promised Gin we will be back before we say our final goodbyes to this paradise of restaurants! My friend and I sat at the bar, which is my preferred seating, inside of a very packed Sunday brunch. The restaurant is small, cozy and friendly. The bartender was quick to fix our Bloody Mary needs and although it was super busy, she never seemed too overwhelmed to top of our waters or check in on our progress. YOU MUST GET THE BISCUITS. I tried the Shrimp and Grits with an added biscuit, and my socks were knocked completely off. So tasty! I am not the only one who raved about the biscuits that day. High praises came from all around! My friend ordered the Chicken and Red Velvet Waffle and was also really delicious and the waffles were actually quite light considering! Can't wait to go back - Already making reservations for this Sunday. read more

Came to LuLu's for Sunday brunch, it was very busy even the bar stool had its own little wait too. Piece of advice make reservations. While waiting for a table I ordered the tropical mimosa it was very good the only thing was the serve their mimosas with ice (very weird) never had champagne on ice and never care too again. I just ordered the 2nd on with out ice and it was all good from there. The service and food were wonderful I had the corned beef hash it was very good. We also ordered the french toast it was lack lusture no frills it was just regular sliced white bread nothing special would not order it again. Lulu's was just ok to me, it wasn't bas it just wasn't great, but I was give it a 2nd go round to determine weather or not I like it or not. read more

What a treat! We ordered the Brussels sprouts and cauliflower appetizer, and it was amazing! Such a great surprise for all of us. Next, I shared the seafood risotto, and the portion seemed a little light to our waitress so she got us a bit more. I can't speak highly enough about the service and flavors at Lulu's. Yum! My son ordered the duck breast, and he was so impressed, I tried duck for the first time in my life. His girlfriend had the crab cake which was also great; not Maryland class, but pretty good. To drink, I had the passion fruit cider which was a miss, but the Chardonnay was great. Everything was so tasty we opted for dessert and had the red velvet waffle and chocolate cake with raspberries. OMG: cannot say enough good things about this entire meal. I was happy with Lulu's, I'm now going to have to drive to Richmond much more often! read more

Please read my amazing review about this amazing brunch restaurant!!! It's the day after a night of drinking and of course the first thing I want is food. I check out yelp and fell in love with LuLus reviews, menu and of course mamosas. The place took reservations and I didn't have one but the bar was pretty large so it was easy for me to grab a spot. The bartender was an amazing! I'm sure she was the manager but she was a very sweet lady and made great conversation. I ended up getting the mamosa pitcher with my friend and it was amazing! More champagne than OJ so I was happy. My friend ordered the the Huervos Ranchero with shrimp and I ordered the red velvet waffles & chicken. My dish cake with a side of eggs and sausage gravy. I am not a fan of sausage gravy but OMG please get the gravy, it was delicious. The food was delicious!!! The only thing I didn't like was the waffle, the flavor was good but the texture did not please me. Overall the place was amazing and would recommend a brunch first date or a family breakfast. I will most definitely come back here when I'm in Richmond read more

We went there for Sunday brunch. The food was amazing. You have to get the house potatoes on the side. They use a local seasoning that is made in Petersburg and incredible. It was a packed house but we still got great service. We will definitely be back! read more

I made a reservation the night before for 9am breakfast. Thank god I did because I showed up at exactly 9 and the place was pretty packed already. The waitress took a semi- long time to come over to take our drink order and then we ordered right away. I got the huevos rancheros and my boyfriend got the red velvet waffles. Both were very good but my huevos rancheros weren't like AMAZING. They up-charged $2 for avocado on my huevos rancheros and they gave me MAYBE 1/4 of an avocado and it tasted a little funny. The service didn't "wow" me either. This place is definitely good but I probably wouldn't return because it just isn't that special. read more

You have to try this place out! I got the chicken and red velvet waffles and they were delicious! The waffles were thicc and fluffy and tasted delicious . The chicken was a little dry but had good seasoning and tasted better when dipped in the gravy. It also came with potatoes and eggs. The potatoes were honestly the best thing on my plate! They have nice seating outside and parking is plentiful. read more

I've been to LuLu's for brunch a couple of times now, and every time has been enjoyable! I highly recommend a reservation just to be safe. I was told to try the fried chicken and red velvet waffles & it was amazing! The waffle was fluffy and a little sweet, but paired greatly with the savory gravy and chicken. The potatoes served with the dishes are just okay. They seem a little oily. This last time I went to brunch, I had the scrambled eggs and lobster biscuit and it was so good! There were large pieces of lobster in it, the biscuit was flaky, and the sauce was just great! My friend got the shrimp and grits, and that dish was great too!!All of the flavors and textures went together really nicely. There were large shrimp and the grits were well done. Service can be a little slow at times, but they're very busy Sunday mornings since they open only for brunch on Saturday and Sundays. Definitely coming back! read more

First time eating here and it was worth the wait. I can see why it is one of the top brunch places in the country; the variety of handmade items, which are delicious, is impressive. I had Rancheros, while my family had Red Velvet Waffle, Chicken and Biscuits, Chicken and Gravy and LuLu's Benedict. We sampled each one and I have to say all were good in their own style. Definitely a great place to eat and the service was excellent as well. She was attentive without being overly around. The food came out in a timely fashion which is refreshing. Go there if you haven't been and enjoy your brunch. read more

Upon arrival, the ambiance of the venue gave nice vibes, however, our hostess was so engaged in her conversation with her counterpart that we stood there for all of two minutes before she decided that she would seat us less than an inch away from the backs of another party while also omitting to greet us. Our waiter was super friendly and the only reason why I'm giving this place 2 stars. I ordered the French toast with potatoes and bacon which arrived late because they burned the French toast per our waitress. Once my food finally arrived it was SO soggy. The texture was very unappealing, I'm assuming because they were rushing to get the food out. Overall, disappointed as this has been on my list of places to eat for almost a year now. The potatoes and bacon were okay. Maybe I'll give this place another try on a less busy day .. but also, maybe not. read more

Finally got a chance to eat a the highly sought after LuLu's for brunch. I highly recommend reservations because there is not much of a wait area and did you catch the "highly sought after" comment? I had an Atlantic Omelet which is an omelet with white cheddar cheese, lobster and crab meat topped with hollandaise sauce which was outstanding! Home fried potatoes came as a side and I ordered a peach mimosa (actually two but it was my birthday weekend so don't judge me) which was excellent as well. Definitely worth a visit, highly recommend! read more

This is the best brunch in RVA. 80% of the time I want brunch, I come here. The other 20% of the time I decide to try somewhere else and generally regret it. I hate overly long drawn out reviews. So here goes, when you want to come to Lulu's make sure you make a reservation (I didn't and we waited at the bar for an opening). I liked that the staff knows how to work under pressure without rushing or being rude. We had the Eggs and Lobster biscuit (lobster omelette on a sliced biscuit) and Chicken and Red Velvet Waffles. Strawberry mimosa and a beermosa to wash it down. The omelette was cooked perfectly! The sauce on top was rich and delicious. Chicken part was well seasoned and the waffle was crispy and not too sweet. Normally, I don't care for the hash browns because people don't seasoned or over/under cook it. These were nicely seasoned and crispy but soft on the inside. Oh did I say I hate long reviews? Ha! read more

Don't let the current construction on 17th street stop you, this gem is well worth it. The service is incredibly fast, atmosphere is cool, and the brunch was spectacular. Discouraged because we tried to get in twice here and both times it was so booked up there wasnt any room for us to get breakfast. First time we naively showed up without a reservation as a walk-in and got turned away, there wasnt even room at the bar for seating. The next day we called within a minute of their opening to see if we could get a brunch reservation...nope! Still fully booked up. Too bad, really looked like a great place to go in Richmond, clearly everyone else had the same idea! read more

Lulu's is a cool and tasty restaurant on the downtown farmer's market. I've been before, but today we were there for a party of 7. The food was pretty good, and I would have rated it higher, but the service was not good. Firstly, the music was very loud. It was hard to talk to each other in our booth, and when we asked our waitress if it could get turned down, she gave us a bit of a snarky answer that was basically a decline of our request. Our waitress is the other reason I docked them points for this visit. I'm not sure she ever introduced herself to us by name, so unfortunately I can't pinpoint who she was. Regardless, she did not take care of us with kindness. When we asked for basic things like water, it seemed like an inconvenience for her. She didn't tell us about the specials. We had to aggressively snag her to order more drinks. Several members of our party commented on her attitude independently. The food seemed to take a really long time to come out. It was good once we got it, but it seemed like it took forever. When we left there were TONS of plates ready and waiting to go out on the back counter, but for whatever reason the food wasn't moving anywhere. It seems this place lacks organization and structure. The corned beef hash was great- BIG chunks of corned beef, even bigger potatoes. My egg was a little under my preference- the whites weren't set at all. The chorizo frittata was "amazeballs" per the hubs. Red Velvet waffle was also pretty good. The biscuits were good but nothing to write home about. At this point, I don't think I'd go back, and I'd only recommend it to the right crowd. There are tons of great brunch places in town without the attitude. read more

I've been going to Lulus for years. My dad came in from DC and wanted to go to the best breakfast so of course I took him here. Our server, Anna messed up our order and then when it came time for the check she charged us for items we had not received. And then to make things worse, as we were speaking with the manager I realize that there are onions and tomatoes IN MY HOT CHOCOLATE and yall...as I'm realizing this our server says "oh I had the hot chocolate beside the pico and felt it fall in"...yall this was the WORST experience. She KNEW what she did before even bringing me the hot chocolate. I love Lulus but beware of this server. Pay attention to your food. Unfortunately, I'll never be able to eat here again :/ read more

Booth shook and made tons of noise. Concerned the glass was going to fall on top of us several times. Resturant was extremely loud. . Waiter was interesting (leather pants, gold sequined jacket and a lapel pin made of bone - great for a club, not a waiter). Delivered coffee, no spoons. Coffee was barely warm when a waitress bought us spoons (which we had to ask for). Food arrives. 1 Dish had raw eggs whites and waiter wanted to argue they were appropriately cooked. Then offered to finish cooking the eggs already on the plate. 2 dishes - eggs over cooked. No salt/pepper/spices - also no lobster. 1 dish was a "sandwich" according to the menu, it was not. Side of bacon was flavorless, greasy and over cooked - think high school cafeteria bacon. "Hash browns" on all plates were mostly black grease - you know? The stuff you scrape in the trash can before wiping the grill down to cook new food. 4 people out of 6 did not finish food. And did not want take home boxes. Did waiter ask if food was ok? NOPE. Did not offer to have a manager speak to the table either. No coffee refills offered. Asked for the bill. THE WRONG BILL WAS BOUGHT. Then the waiter wanted to argue it was our bill. REALLY? We have 6 coffees, bill says 1. And they added a 20% gratuity without having stated it and no posted sign about it either. Did the waiter just take it upon himself to add it? Unknown. Don't bother calling, they never answer the phone and the voicemail is full. I've worked in the Industry for years, as have 2 others In our party. A complete cluster f*ck. So on Easter Sunday I called prior to going to ensure they were open, I was told they were and they were taking reservations only unless you wanted to sit at the bar. We get there and there's two family's ahead of us. The manager , I suppose, instructed the two door attendants to keep track of who was waiting for the bar as it was FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. After waiting 45 minutes a girl walks in and someone at the bar gets up;she sits down without having to wait. We let that go. Then 3 people sitting next to them get up & we go to sit as it was our turn. We were told, very rudely, the man had been holding the seats since 11 ( it was 12:15 at this point) for three other guest WHO WERE NOT EVEN THERE YET. HOW ARE YOU HOLDING SEATS AT A BAR THAT IS FIRST COME FIRST SERVE?! Why wait an hour instead of making a reservation as the bar is FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. At this point the manager gets involved and rudely tells my friend and I she knows the man is holding seats and she was fine with that and that we needed to continue to wait. WAIT FOR WHAT?! Wait until he is finished holding seats for him and his friends WHO HAD NOT EVEN ARRIVED AT THE RESTAURANT to sit at a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BAR?! We left without eating as the entire situation was ridiculous. We went to Southern Kitchen, the food was AMAZING and the staff knew what customer service meant. I would not recommend LuLu's to anyone who doesn't want their food with a side of attitude, favoritism, and wait staff who don't know what first come first serve means. read more

The service was extremely slow from the hostess to the servers. We asked for a table for 3 people. The host said that they do not have a table for 3 but they could seat us at the bar. The bar was obviously busy and they had a 4 top open and refused to sit us. When we finally got to the table I requested, the host kept asking us how many people; so she did not retain information well. It took us over 20 minutes to get our mimosas which were not tasty at all. The food was cold. We asked them to reheat the food. The server was nowhere to be found and the host did not know if the establishment had a microwave! She said that it wasn't her "problem" yet you guys all work under the same umbrella. The server forgot my bacon, I had to call her attention. Our server did not check up on us not once. When we got our checks even that took forever to process. We will NOT be back. Waffles were hard, dry and not tasty. Don't waste your time. read more

I don't know how Lulu's got on the map with their Bloody Mary because it tastes like water and tomatoes. The garnishes were one olive, a celery stick, and a lime. I couldn't taste any spice. I drank it on an empty stomach too and only felt it a small amount after I got up to leave. For food we get the French Toast and the Chicken and Biscuit. The French Toast was nothing to write home about, but decent. The Chicken and Biscuit was okay. The sausage gravy did not have much flavor besides the sausage which was very spicy. The biscuit was a good texture but almost had an almond extract taste to it? The cook of the chicken was nice. The potatoes tasted like they had been marinated in green peppers and loaded with spice. The eggs were just fine. Overall, for having to make a reservation to get in to this place on the weekend we were very underwhelmed. I don't understand what people come here for? read more

Favorite brunch spot in Richmond! They have a good variety on the menu and serve a lot of food for a great price! I personally love the chorizo frittata. The eggs are cooked great & the chorizo elevates the dish with a level of spice. The side potatoes are also delicious as they are always soft and well seasoned. If you're looking for a fun drink, they often have fun seasonal cocktails as well. I love their Bloody Mary's as they are spiced very well without being too thick. Staff is always friendly. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The indoors is actually double the size it initially looks with another room if you turn the hallway! If planning to go on the weekend would recommend a reservation! read more

We're on a trip for our friends birthday, we sat down, our serve Aaliyah was great however, before we could truly enjoy our experience we were brought one of our meals and a plate we didn't recognize, with the mystery plate to the side we began to eat off of one plate. A goth boy who was running food, came to our table taking both plates, the one we ate off and the other, he said they were wrong which was fine, but we then watched him serve them to another customer and they ate our leftovers. It was Friday the 20th in range of 11:30-12:30, check #54 Table 21. I will never return to Lulus and it is a shame that one person can ruin a place for countless people. read more

We went for brunch after church on Sunday. The wait was really long over 25 minutes. The food and service was great though! I ordered the Atlantic omelette. It was the best omelette I've ever had. The drinks were good too. I ordered the Mimosa and my husband ordered the Mule both were great! The service was really good too. The waitress was very attentive and helpful with recommending a dish. I will return to this establishment in the near future!!! read more

surprised how good it was... steak on par with top restaurants in town. the rest of the table ordered trout, pork, and crab. everyone raved. desserts were decadent... almost put us under. great flavors and great value ... bartender was super friendly and attentive, drinks were stiff and quickly refilled. will be back for sure read more

Best place in Richmond for brunch! Want something sweet try the red velvet waffles want savory get the BLT with egg and avocado. I've always enjoyed having brunch here. The Atlantic omelet with a side of muffins is to die for. It's always a good choice. My sister had the croissant sandwich and we both loved every bite. The beer and cocktail list is good as well. I can't wait to go back and try the red velvet waffle. read more
