A beautiful lobby! Came in here to take some pictures after our elopement, this has to be one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever seen. The staff was SO kind, giving us well-wishes and congratulations. If we stay in Richmond in the future, this is where we will book. The staff were just so kind!

My mom was visiting from out of town so I booked us for afternoon tea at the Jefferson. It was such a fun and unique experience! The hotel is so beautiful and rich in history. Definitely lots of photo ops and of course we loved the tea and pastries. The Richmond Tea Blend was our fav - we ended up buying 4 containers for home from the gift shop. The experience was $45 plus gratuity for 2 hrs which also included complimentary parking (hotel will validate). If you're looking for something unique to do in Richmond, this is it!

Champagne Brunch at the Jefferson Hotel This is a wonderful way to spend a Sunday Morning / Afternoon. The hotel is extremely elegant and they fill the room with colorful floral displays. They food was excellent with a wide variety of options. Something for everyone with traditional breakfast items, omelet station, made to order pancakes, savory stations with carved beef and ham, salads, and many hot entrees. The dessert options were wonderful and made in miniature sizes so you do not feel guilty filling your plate with many options. All of the staff were attentive and friendly. This is a great choice for a special occasion.

Another beautiful brunch!!! We had a wonderful experience at the Father's Day Sunday Champagne Brunch. Every single team member was so kind and helpful. Our waitstaff was especially attentive and made sure that our drinks stayed topped off. All of the food was fresh and perfectly cooked. We enjoyed the wide variety of food offered. We'll be back!

Beautiful place. Not a great tea experience. I've had tea here before and the food and experience was good. Yeah at $62 per person with fees it's expensive but it's a treat and you could count on decent food. This time wasn't the case. My friend got the vegetarian option and I did the regular service. Shamefully The Jefferson included a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for the vegetarian option. Come on! Be more creative! That is just downright embarrassing for The Jefferson. I got the standard service and it was fine. The ham sandwich had a whisper of ham on it. Portions were way off. After this experience I think I'll try some different places to have tea. I heard the VMFA has a really nice afternoon tea so I'll definitely check that out.

I stayed at the Jefferson Hotel for a quick weekday trip. It is the epitome of 5 star hotel. It is beautiful inside and out. I ordered room service for breakfast and lunch. The pancakes were perfect! The chicken tenders for lunch were the best ever. The staff is super polite. Even though it is in the heart of Richmond, they even had their own parking lot. 10000000/10 recommend.

Just an absolutely pleasant experience. Comfy rooms and scenic hotel with nice amenities. Made a shorty stay in Richmond relaxing.

*This rating is for the afternoon tea* I have lived in Richmond for over 10 years and worked at this hotel for 4 years and never even thought about going to afternoon tea. I wish I hadn't waited so long! The tea was absolutely delicious (I had the Richmond blended and it tasted like Christmas in a cup) and our carafes were always full. We had so much food and so many varieties, it was hard to figure out where to start (our favorites were the chicken salad sandwich, the Oreo scones and the lemon cups). Our server was diligent and also hilarious. There's something so relaxing about enjoying tea with good company overlooking a beautiful rotunda. Afterwards, I took my guests to the little "museum" area so they could read the history. I'll definitely be back to enjoy tea again...I imagine tea during the holidays is absolutely spectacular.

Finally made it to The Jefferson for Sunday brunch and it was delicious. Breakfast side favorites: potatoes, biscuits and sausage gravy, and I loved my made to order blueberry pancake. Lunch side favorites: the ribeye (well done piece) was so tender and flavorful and I enjoyed the potato and leek soup. Dessert favorites were the carrot cake and red velvet cake; making them mini was the perfect idea! Our sever Jaden described the different stations for us and recommended his favorite dishes. He checked in on us periodically and kept the champagne coming and I so so appreciate him taking pictures for us.

Enjoyed the champagne brunch this morning. Wow! From the exquisite interior, the impeccable service, and the spectacular food... It was a perfect morning.

We had an overnight at the Jefferson and really enjoyed the entire experience. The entire staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is stunning and incredibly maintained. We liked the security of needing a room keep to access the non-public floors. Our room was large and well appointed. It was incredibly clean and harkened back to an earlier time which we loved. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was huge with a fantastic shower. Loved that they still have turn down service and left us an alligator chocolate!! Definitely worth a visit - we live locally so it was a staycation for us!

Is there a dress code for the Sunday brunch?

The toilet ran after flushing unless I went back and gave the handle a little jiggle. There were no electrical outlets in the bathroom -- none! I had to plug in my electric toothbrush on one of the nightstands. There was a double electrical outlet at the desk, but the refrigerator plug covered part of the second outlet, so I had to unplug the refrigerator to plug in my laptop. (Fortunately, I had no need for the fridge.) The room was chilly when I got there, but I couldn't figure out how to set the HVAC for heat. The only plus was that the bed was very comfortable. But that was not enough to make up for all the other shortcomings. I do not recommend this hotel. It is very expensive and not anywhere near worth it.

I used to live in the Fan/Museum District, and I love this place because it is in such a good location, right next to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (which I highly recommend as well!), as well as walking distance to shops and restaurants in Carytown, the Fan, etc. We stayed in the carriage house the first time and the house itself the second time. Both were very cozy, with lots of amenities, such as bathrobes, bottled water, and coffee pot/tea in the room. The breakfast in the morning is phenomenal. It is made to order, with eggs, bacon, various rolls, oatmeal, coffee, etc. and served in the house's dining room. The staff is absolutely lovely and so welcoming. Another added bonus is that they provide tickets for admission to the special exhibit at the VMFA, as well as passes to get a free drink in their cafeteria. Love, love, LOVE this place. Highly recommend!

I called the front desk and no answer. We sprayed air freshener to try to cover it up. The manager said he would take care of the bad breakfast from 2 days ago. I'll see tomorrow if that is the case. We were given coffee tokens to be used in the lobby at the in house restaurant and I do appreciate that. The staff have all been very kind. No complaints about them. In fact they have gone out of their way to please us and I appreciate that as well. This smoking smell is a lot though. If/when I return to Richmond, I wouldn't select the Graduate at a top place to stay again. All in all, it has been an okay stay but that smoking smell has been too much.

Our number on priority was location, and The One was beyond perfect. It's within walking distance of Richmond's greatest museums as well as the popular Carytown neighborhood where we spent much of our visit. When we arrived, Sean and Polly weren't at home, but we were provided with an access code to get in to the guest rooms. We were absolutely floored when we walked in. The One only has two guest rooms, which makes it the perfect place for privacy. Our room, The Dream Suite, is located at the top of the stairs and is beautifully decorated in shades of deep red. My only very minor gripe is that the bathrooms are no located "en suite." Instead, they are directly outside the rooms. So while each bedroom does have its own bathroom, you do need to leave your room to get to it. Not a huge deal since there are only two guest rooms...but you can't traipse to the bathroom naked at 2am, either! The parlor is located across the hall from the guest rooms and is not only a comfortable lounge spot, but is also stocked full of snacks and beverages. This is also where continental breakfast is served in the morning. The spread is pretty standard- muffins, bagels, cereal, etc. It didn't particularly suit my fancy (way too carb-heavy), but it's the type of breakfast my boyfriend loves. Sean and Polly were fantastic hosts; very attentive and friendly. Honestly, they were the best B&B owners I have ever interacted with. You can tell that they truly love what they do. We can't wait to go back to Richmond to spend another night at The One. Thanks to Polly and Sean for a great stay!

He recommended several events going on when we told him we were in town for the concert that we might like and was very friendly and personable. Room was a suite with separate sitting room, mini fridge, microwave and bathroom. Bed was very comfy. Breakfast was free (and one of the selling points we looked for when booking) from 6:30am-9:30am and consisted of usual fare: Omelets, pancakes, sausage, cereal, bagels/muffins, yogurt, fruit and juices/coffee. Only real downside is its not the most up to date room wise and felt kind of cold with large industrial doors. Not a huge issue for us, but others might knock it. Parking is also a bit of a tight squeeze, located under the hotel on the ground and level 1. We drive a sedan and had some issues getting out of the car with other cars/SUVs parked close. Doable but it could use respacing.
