I have lived in the area for a long time and I honestly go to Lamars donuts when I'm craving a donut and was not inclined to give it a try even with all the reviews. I was stuck in that traffic after 5pm and decided to pull over and give it a go and so happy I did. The gentleman was very welcoming and extremely kind and the selection was more than I can decide on! Went to this place last week and was so blown away with how great the customer service was along with the doughnuts and drinks! Everything was amazing and fresh. Had Mango smoothie, a vanilla bean shake and a mocha chocolate coffee shake the one on the menu pic and woooow it was amazing!! My wife and I were in for our boys football game at Thunderbird High School driving from Prescott. Staff was very nice and felt bad that they didn't have much of a selection, but being that it was 8pm and they close at 9pm. We didn't care, they had enough and tasted great! The other day I had an apple filled bear-claw that makes my mouth water just thinking about it. I just now gobbled up my Bavarian cream filled. Both super yummy! Now how much longer do I have to work out to burn that off? Gotta look it up. Anyway, both times the service was very warm and welcoming which is an important factor to me. Hands down best donuts I've had in Phoenix. I loved Bosa donuts until this place opened and I haven't been to Bosa since. Super friendly staff too. You must try the strawberry cream cheese pockets, the apple fritters, and my favorite - the plain glazed twist. It's like eating a sugary cloud. The croissants are to die for as well. Unfortunately for my waistline, this place is less than a mile from my house and on my route to work. I love to run in on my way and buy a croissant and ask them to nuke it in the microwave for 10 seconds to warm it up. It's warm and steamy and buttery and so delicious. read more

The blueberry cream cheese croissant is to die for. Being a regular at other places in this strip mall, we were excited to see this shop pop up. My kids LOVE donuts and now I'm hooked on this specific croissant. The owners are super nice and the young guys that work there are welcoming and just cool. Let me start out by saying I used to think I didn't like donuts. I'd get a craving for a donut once in a while, I'd go to Dunkin and get one of their yucky sugar bombs, eat part of it and then go another year without a donut. That ALL CHANGED when I went to Lucky Donuts! I now LOVE donuts. I think I've had every donut they make at this point and I've never had anything that wasn't scrumptious! They are light and airy inside...they just melt in your mouth! The fillings are delicious, their cream cheese and and Boston cream are just exquisite. I love the buttermilk bars, they are moist inside and crisp on the edges. I can't say enough about how great their donuts are. Don't pass up the French crullers! Their croissants are also amazing; huge, flaky and not greasy. I am a frequent flier here. The people who own this shop are also delightful! Always super nice and friendly.
