Made a quick stop here during a weekend in Phoenix! My boyfriend and I split a flaming hot dog so I don't have too much to judge off of. All the hotdogs on the menu look super good though and this one was delicious! The service was great and super quick. This is a very casual small restaurant. WHOA! What a great stop in! At the Orpheum for a show and dropped by for late night snack. Loaded Wiener does not disappoint! They have every hotdog combination as well as the traditional on the menu! The staff is amazing and ready to take your order and answer questions. I am vegan so asked about vegan dogs- I was told of course they just take a little longer to make since everything is cooked fresh. My boyfriend got the Chicago style I of course the vegan with mustard only (purist my friends) a side of crinkle fries and a coke to share. All were unbelievable. Heard of this place through a friend. Had to try while I was in town! The place is clean and the cashier was super friendly and helpful. Tried the hot Cheeto dust on my hotdog and 5/5 the crunchiness was great! I didn't take a picture smh. We also tried some load fries and my FH tried a different hot dog. Honestly, it was all tasty. Everyday of my life I crave an amazing hot dog creation - and Loaded Weiner hit all my senses. From the initial greeting from our server to the new decor and bar seats that look like hot dog ends. Today, we tried the Sonoran Hot Dog and growing up in Tucson, I like to think of myself as a connoisseur of Sonoran hot dogs (they are literally on every corner in Tucson - and I have tried a LOT of them!). Came in late night for some tipsy munchies. Place was clean. Good music playing. Other people eating food and ordering. Nice ambiance goin on. They have many different hot dogs on the menu. I went with my safest bet and tried the Sonoran hot dog and made it a meal. They made them fresh. Super good. Flavors on point. Definitely a good size I couldn't even finish my second one. The food was decent, but the customer service left a lot to be desired. For example, my boy ordered chili cheese fries and when they brought out regular fries, the girl who made the fries didn't apologize. Instead, she told them that they should have caught that they were rang up incorrectly and tried to get out of making the correct order. Plus, they have a small basket fryer, rather than a commercial fryer, so they can only take one fry order at a time. I walked up to make another order was told they wouldn't be with me for quite some time because they had other orders to get through. So overall, it was a bit lackluster, and I probably won't be back as there are other dog places in the city that are better. read more

Sonoran Hotdog was pretty much not an actual Sonoran Hotdog. Took all the topping off and ate the Hotdog which was tasty. The bun would of been great but it was soaked by all the juices from the beans and the other topping. The fries was pretty much soggy and undercooked. I'll give this place another try. read more

I walked in at 8:55 pm. No one in line. I ordered a Chicago dog and plain fries. He tells me it'll be about two minutes. Makes my hot dog and it is sitting on t he counter. A couple walks in. They order two cheese dogs and chili cheese fries. They make their hit dogs and their fries, as I watch. Serve them. Im still waiting! Five minutes later my plain fries are done. I walk out at 9:12pm. Outside, open my hotdog. It is cold. And soggy. He put a pickle spear on top of the bun. And after sitting there for 15 minutes the bun was a soggy mess of pickle juice. Dog was cold. Fries completely unseasoned. Not sure if they forgot or if that's normal. Zero salt. Dude looked at me dead in the eye and said "sorry for the wait" as if I didn't watch the entire fiasco in front of my eyes. Lame experience. Felt no love at all. Straight disrespected. We stopped into Loaded Weiner during a weekend staycation downtown. The guys working there was kind of out of it and really into the music playing in the restaurant. Kinda sketchy honestly. The food is set up like chipotle so we told him what kind of hot dog and the kinds of toppings we wanted. While prepping our food he kept zoning out to the music, again weird and now I'm suspicious of the health of my food. How long has this food been sitting out, how clean is this guy, etc. We ate back at our room, and the hot dog was fire but the weird cashier was quite annoying. read more
