I feel like they're serve the stuff they sell in the grocery store, same brand, different recipe. Food wise, prices have gone up but otherwise the menu is as I remembered it. Of course I ordered my tried and true, Nana's Special, pork ted chili? 2 over easy eggs, beans, potatoes, and choice of flour tortillas. That taste, that taste of good red chili! It's the same after all these years! Smokey, spicy, tender, all the yummy things! Dousing each bite with egg yolk and red hot sauce (the same from years ago unlike the salsa), was so satisfying! Shrimp tacos are always loaded so well that you can't even see the tortilla when it comes out, and will always have left over shrimp when done with the taco which to us is always a great thing when it comes to tacos. Shrimp and fish always tastes fresh and juicy which was out biggest worry at first but it turned out to be great and loved the food. In the Arizona/Sonora case, the music is carne and tripa (intestine) asada. And a caramelo is analogous to the mulitas you find in SoCal. Something like a fat man's quesadilla, except open faced. It should also go without saying that the preferred tortilla shall be flour. Note too, the neighborhood is borderline sketch; seeing as how it borders the Phoenix hood of Maryville.
