So, I live downtown and have been wanting to try this place however my work schedule and the hours they open did not make it easy for me. However today the stars aligned for me and gave them a try. I was greeted by both owners and we had a great conversation. I went with the Chili Cheese dog which wad excellent. They source the Hot Dogs from Schreiner's which always make excellent hot dogs and Sausages. The rolls are locally sources too. The chili had no beans (which is a plus for me) and was spiced just right for a hot dog. I sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine and hot dog. It's almost impossible to pick up and eat so I used a fork and knife. I will be back it was an excellent meal!!! read more

We had the happy accident of walking in on Wednesday. For us, Half Price Hot Dogs! The guys working were super friendly and helpful. I ordered the Sonoran no Jalapeños. It was still spicy with the Sriracha mayo and spicy pork sausage, but I could handle it. My friend got the BLT ( much easier for him to eat ). The flavors harmonized perfectly and we were both very happy. There is outdoor seating and the guys bring the food out with napkins, silverware, and a wet nap ( i needed it, my friend did not ). Very cute local business! I love hot dogs! This was my first time ever stopping by. They have deals on Wednesdays! They get their hot dogs/sausage locally. They had terrific service and were pretty quick to make our hot dogs. They have patio seating outside. They did mention if we stayed and ate that we would get a free mini cone, however, we already ordered and purchased our cones. I would love to come back and try something else on the menu! read more

RoRo Dogs rocks! First of all, I am a hotdog lover, and I know a good hotdog. We found them here. First, the place is super cute and colorful, with an awesome mural that runs under the entire counter, with white subway tile and colorful signs on the wall. There are no seats inside, but there are tables and chairs outside. We all loved our hotdogs. Hubby got the Polish sausage, which came on a pretzel bun and topped with sauerkraut and stoneground mustard. We also got a chili cheese dog, which comes on an onion bun and is topped with beef chili, cheese, and crushed Fritos (we opted out of the onion). We also had a Flamer, an andouille sausage on an onion bun topped with jalapenos, siracha mayo, sport peppers and crushed hot Cheetos. Last but not least, we had a "build your own" hotdog with andouille sausage, jalapenos, tomato slices, chopped onion and mustard. All were delicious! And a bonus: the great, super friendly owners! I LOVE hot dogs. I'm so thankful we stopped here because not only did we eat quality dogs but Donny (co owner) was so nice to us. We had the Chicago and sonoron mini dogs. The actual dog was so delicious plus the bread was soft. He gave us a little backstory on how they source their ingredients which was super cool. You can tell that he cares so much about his business and product. And the end of our meal he gave me a free soft serve which was such a nice touch. Not being a fan of hot dogs in general, I was very skeptical of coming here. Upon walking in I was warmly greeted by the owners. Super clean premises, small interior, no seats inside, but very cozy. I got the Chicago dog. Was pretty damn good, however the first sport pepper I chomped on, blew out my palate. Dang it was hot. Over all I have nothing bad to say, only positive. And they may make me a fan of the All American meal after all. Going to come and try some special combos. read more

Honestly, one of the greatest hotdogs I've had in my life. There were three of us in the group, I had the Sonoran and the other two ordered a framer and a vegan dog. All of us were beyond happy with our choices. The owners were fantastic, very friendly and patient with us as we debated back-and-forth on what we wanted. Absolutely love this place! This is the perfect spot for a quick easy, filling meal right on Roosevelt Row!! They have a walk up counter where you can order your hotdogs. They also have the cutest hotdog themed shop with the coolest custom mural of Roosevelt Row! The owners are the absolute friendliest, nicest people and have been locals for years so they really know and love the neighborhood!! Best service around. They put together an extensive menu of craft loaded hotdogs. They use locally sourced buns and sausages which I love. I got to try to absolutely loaded hotdogs and both were amazing. Tried out the sonoran dog and the chilli cheese dog. Both were great-you can taste the quality in the toppings and local ingredients. Yum! What a gem. I am an admitted life long hot dog lover. This place did not disappoint. Creative signature dog menu left me wanting to come back and try more. We tried the Chicago Dog, The Flamer, and the gluten-free friendly Chip Bag Chicago Dog style. All of them were excellent. The dogs and the buns are locally sourced. Everything was delicious. The individual ingredients that make up the hotdog are great: Schreiner's sausage, fresh toppings, etc. but structurally it could be improved. I don't like toppings falling off when biting into it. The eating experience is messy and in some cases require a fork to eat. I'd rather have less toppings or have the hot dog built differently for a better bite. read more

They had the best Chicago dog I've ever had West of the Mississippi! The root beer float was made to perfection. The outdoor seating was colorful and gave a comfortable place to enjoy the food. These dogs are great! Nice little spot. They offer cute little outside seating right on Roosevelt. Service was fantastic and so is the boxer that hangs out in there with the owners. Chill vibe and food is great for a bite to eat at anytime.. no fountain soda or fancy drinks offered but they do have canned and bottled sodas. Just tried Roro dogs after a recommendation from my sister. Tried the chili cheese dog which was a 8.5/10. Bun was really good but it was alittle messy. However that is expected with chili cheese. Also got the chicago style vegan dog. A lot of flavors and really good. The service was phenomenal and I would come back just for it. The price was alittle steep for hot dogs but they do use local sausage and not the ones from the grocery store. So you're getting a quality meat. Definitely would come back! read more
