Nice cozy spot. Not too large of a space but feels very comfortable and homey. Food was delicious, excellently prepared and perfectly seasoned. Every entree was wonderful. Our server was friendly and helpful. We came on a what appeared to be a busy evening. Service was a bit slow and it took awhile for our items to make it to our table however we were not in a hurry and it was well worth it. I'd recommend coming here on a chill night when you are not feeling in a hurry. It's a great place to enjoy wine, relax, and partake in a delicious dining experience. Looking forward to coming again

My wife and I went there while visiting family in the Omaha area. Our first impression was a charming, relaxed atmosphere. We were met by Lisa who treated us with such respect and hospitality. She introduced us to others and shortly afterward, Chef Wilson came out and introduced himself and that was the beginning of a wonderful dinner. They had an extensive wine selection and also numerous non alcoholic cocktails. all of which paired quite well with our dishes. We had Foie Gras and Brie Josette for our appetizers. We had Duck Confit and a specialty dish of Seafood and Pasta for our entrees. We had a lemon parfait dessert to top it off. I can't say enough good things about our experience and the quality of service and food we received at Le Voltaire. We will dine there every time we are in Omaha.

Our 1st time sitting belly up at the bar for drinks & apps! This is a really nice, classy & romantic restaurant (usually a 2 hour dining experience). They have a nice bar by the entryway that seats about 8. It's OK to go by yourself or catch up with someone and enjoy a drink or 2, get an appetizer or dinner! The bartenders are friendly & take the time to explain any questions you have. They were offering a new drink called Brooklyn Sour: Rum, sour mix, Hibiscus simple syrup & red wine float! Great Concoction! We shared one of our favorite apps-smoked salmon with French bread! Very fresh! This quick dining experience worked well for us & is a nice option to have!

The food was incredible, and the flavors were stunning. We got the sample appetizer and it was such a nice way to try new things. It's a quiet little place, which is always nice. And the service was great. They even had some extra full loaves of bread at the end of the night that they gave us so they wouldn't have to throw it away. Absolutely will be back.

Great meal. Everything was excellent but the Rabbit Pot Pie was over the top. Great service and nice wine selection. Chef was super nice and visited our table. I'll be back next time through Omaha!

Food was so delicious. The Coq Au Vin was so flavorful and fall off the bone. It's a little small on the inside, but filled with great food. The chef came out to wish my friend a happy birthday which was very personable and kind

First time here, the ambience is nice and cozy, the server were knowledgeable and the bar tender was fun to talk to. Made a good old fashioned with Cognac. Bread and butter is very French (although French don't have butter with their breads ). Ordered the mushroom blue cheese soup, salmon, chicken and Lamb Parmentier. Lamb was amazing, rest of the food items were great as well. Server was good and fun. Would come back for sure. Little bit on the pricier side though.

I love Le Voltaire. Actually, it's my favorite restarant in Omaha. I've been here more times than I can count, and I'll continue going as long as they are still around. I've tried other French spots in town, and truthfully, they can't compare. The atmosphere at LV is small and quaint. There's a French "vibe" throughout, a small bar area, and a larger back room for bigger parties. The cocktail selection is good, and according to my girlfriend, their wines are awesome. Most of the staff I've spoken with have actually spent some time in France, and if I remember a conversation I had with a server one time, they will do work trips there from time to time as well. The chef is incredible, and I've been told he went to culinary school in France as well, so this place is about as authentic as you can get in ol' Omaha Nebraska. Obviously the food is the star of the show at this place, and I have yet to be disappointed by any dish I ordered. I love ordering whichever specials they are running when I'm in, and am especially a fan of the several different lamb and veal dishes I've had. This weekend's meal was no exception. I ordered the Veal Cheeks, and was absolutely blown away. The veal, per usual, was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and cooked to perfection. The sauce was rich and flavorful, and accompanied the veal excellently. I did skip the vegetables, and added fries for my side, because, well, fries, and they were incredible as well. The server actually brought out some of their aoli for the fries too, which put them over the top. The Foie Gras Toast was on point (lol get it?), the Apple Tart was awesome, and my girlfriend enjoyed the seafood stew she ordered (a little too fishy for my taste). I have never been let down here, and will continue to go as often as I can. Thanks for being great.

Le Voltaire is probably the most underrated restaurant in this city! A culinary genius owns this place!! It is situated in the Pepperwood Village strip mall, so it is kind of a funky spot, but it works! Per the reservation list, it appears to be quite popular. From the steak and fries to the French onion soup to the Choucroute de la mer, everything is exceptional! A Top 10 restaurant in Omaha!

We made a reservation for New Year's Eve, which probably affected service, but the restaurant should be prepared for this. They seemed to only have two servers for the entire restaurant, which is not small. Our waiter was friendly and nearly running from table to table, but he had a lot of ground to cover. I ordered the NYE special, which came with a cluster of snow crab legs, a salad, a scallop dish, and a dessert. The crab legs were good, but of course, messy. A wet wipe would have been nice. The salad came out without dressing, but was good once that was corrected, although small for the price. The scallops were served with Brussel's sprouts, pickled radish, and kohlrabi in a sauce. An interesting mix with good flavor, but it only came with four medium sized scallops for $39. My dining companion ordered the whiskey salmon, which had a nice glaze, and some interesting sides, but the fish itself wasn't great. Not very flavorful and a touch dry. Dessert ended up being some coconut chocolate balls and sugar cookies. Similar to the Christmas cookie plates that we've had on the counter for the past several weeks. The Russian tea cakes promised on the menu were nowhere to be seen. Pretty disappointing. We had some nice takeout from here last year and thought it would be even better in the restaurant. Sadly our visit didn't live up to expectations, but you can see what they're going for. It may have been an off night for them due to the holiday, but there are a lot of other restaurants in Omaha we'll check out before trying Sand Point again.

Owned by a trio of dedicated foodies, this restaurant exceeded all my expectations, and their attention to detail shows. The quality of food, the attentive service, and the fastidiously clean and modern interior makes for a welcoming cozy atmosphere. Vote voted best of Omaha 2025 all I can say is they truly deserve it! Located just north of Dodge at 108th St., the restaurant is conveniently situated with a large parking lot and plenty of space for easy access. The restaurant takes reservations, but I had no challenge arriving mid afternoon for my first visit. I was pleasantly greeted and quickly seated. I was presented a fabulous menu plus specials, which made a hard decision even harder. Offering New England fare, I cannot recall since my childhood on the East Coast, where I saw clam strips on the menu, let alone freshly prepared on site. Cooked to perfection and offering a delightful twist, as the clam strips were served with traditional tartar and Chinese sweet-and-sour sauce. I was offered a complementary taste of their cornbread, prepared by the in-house pastry chef, which was by far the best cornbread I've ever enjoyed. The Portuguese fish stew offered a fabulous Bouillabaisse with plenty of muscles, shrimp, and clams as well as chorizo to fill me up! A full bar, plenty of beers on tap, and a lovely wine list offers great pairings with all the menu items. With their anniversary celebration, there will be specials offered, keep your eyes peeled on their website for menu items and wine offerings through the end of the month. I cannot say enough about this restaurant other than I will be back! I encourage you to check out the best of Omaha, or simply the best, at the Sand Point ASAP!

In my last review I talked about how chunky and unpleasant they were. There are still some small chunks, but they are soft and the dish is much creamier and more enjoyable to eat. Glad they fixed that. Not sure if they had this last time, but I love the simply grilled menu. Ideal for people who are looking for a nice piece of fish and some sides, and the addition of a small sauce on the side is a perfect way to elevate flavors. Also easy for those who are watching their calories. The timing of things coming out of the kitchen was not ideal for us. The drink came out from the bar maybe a minute before the salad, so it took a while. And then we only had salads for a few minutes before they brought the entrées. They've also introduced those portable POS machines that the servers carry around. I understand there are many pros for these, but honestly, I really dislike them. It makes it really awkward to figure the tip and look at the bill while the server is just standing there waiting for you. It always makes me feel rushed and super awkward. I just wish they hadn't introduced these because in my opinion, it negatively affects the guest experience. All in all some good things, so I'm not so good things, but a solid experience at the Bonefish at Regency.

I've only been here for a Yelp event, but I really enjoyed myself. My friends had been and we were all expecting good food and great service. It started off good with appetizers and our server brought out drinks right away. We were chatting and having a good time until our entrées came out. They were all delicious except for my husband. He ordered a medium steak, but it came out rare. That was fine. They took it back, but it came back a second time a little more charred on the outside, but still RARE. By this time, everybody was about done with their food we were trying to flag down a server find a manager someone can help us. But to our dismay, we honestly couldn't find anyone for a good 20 to 30 minutes. My friend got out of her seat and walked around to find the manager. Sad to say they didn't really care. By the time the server came we let her know and she just said sorry they will remove it from the bill. My husband left last night without any dinner. He only had a few appetizers, but he was done after that. We were very dissatisfied and I don't know if it was because they were short staffed but this was very disappointing. I also wanted to mention how crowded it felt with the tables. When I first got in I went to the restroom to wash my hands and had to maze my way through the tables. When I got into the restrooms, there were chairs stacked up in the women's restroom. It was also very dirty and kind of gross. I know my husband will never want to come back, which is a bit of a bummer for me because I really like the food but oh well. The positive aspects were the rest of us ordered seafood, and that was all great. The sides now come separately and are gigantic. The greeter was friendly and seated us quickly. Despite all the negative, we still had a wonderful time with our friends.

The salmon and shrimp were cooked very well, as was the fried egg on top. There were more veggies than I expected, which was nice! The interior is a little boxy, but with lots of decor like chandeliers with Mardi Gras beads hanging down, some uplighting, and cute New Orleans pictures on the walls. Our favorite little side/app, are the Boudin Balls, which are kind of like hush puppies, but with a nice helping of remoulade on top. Yum! My fave go-to entree is the Five Pepper Cream pasta, which is fettuccini tossed in a creamy creole sauce, with a huge breaded filet of blackened chicken on top. Another favorite is the Creole Mac, which is a Mac and Cheese, but with a spicy sauce/spices on top, and filled with andouille sausage as well as sliced, grilled chicken. It definitely has a kick, so if you're averse to any heat, then maybe choose something else. And lastly, I sometimes get the Cajun Meatloaf, if I'm feeling like a heavier dish. It is meatloaf, like you've obviously had a million times, but it is sitting in a dish full of grits and sweet potatoes, and topped with a creamy white béchamel sauce. They also have a lunch size portion of this, which I appreciate. And each entree comes with a little slice of cheesy bread, that's great to dip in the extra sauce of your dish! We sometimes also get the desserts, and they have a great crème brûlée and bananas foster. It's hard to find a good bananas foster in Omaha, and theirs is really good, and very large! The service we have had has always been pretty good, but we did have a weird encounter with one server recently. She made a joke about something (I can't even remember what it was), but it was a little bit poking fun at my husband. It was fine and we all laughed a little at it, but what was weird was that she kept coming over and repeating it over and over in different ways. It was a little annoying and awkward. The owner (I think?) was walking around making sure everything was ok and chatting with each table, so he was great - no complaints there. I will say the only other drawback is that it definitely is not an inexpensive place to eat, so you can't return TOO often. But when you do, you better come hungry and it needs to be a special treat. Acadian Grille is one of only a few creole/cajun restaurants in Omaha, so definitely give them a try if you are looking for that style of food - or know it and want to find it in Omaha!
