    Award winning ribeye!

Lovely service and cuisine in this cozy little niche of a place. Reservation recommended if you won't be there early for your meal. They have a large and very unique wine offering from across Oregon and Washington. I would suggest trying a variety of wines to find one to suit your taste.

The food was great! The service and ambiance was great as well!! I had the award winning hamburger, well deserving of its award. It was the perfect size, not too big. The chowder tasted like I was getting it from Portland, it didn't taste old or reheated. My wife's teriyaki bowl was very flavorful. It was so good I want to go back and get togo's for my lunches this week. We didn't have or need reservations for a Tuesday at 6:00. There is a very cute wine barrel table as soon as you walk in to the right.

Oatmeal and craisin cookie and ice cream; apple pie cheesecake; berry turnover with ice cream. Better looking in person!

We have been fans of the Twisted Cork since back in the day, so I was excited to try this establishment run by the same group. Clean, modern interior, wood and metal, but surprisingly quiet even with a crowd. We really appreciated that aspect. We started with Mai Tais, a Penicillin (bourbon, lemon and ginger concoction) and a beer. All were well received. We werent overly famished, so some of us dined only on starters/shared plates, and others had the Encinitas Tacos (mahi mahi with spicy PEH seasoning and apple habanero salsa) -- which were surprisingly spicy to start, but that settled into a plate-cleaning deliciousness. The Whidbey Island Shrimp with the lime-avocado dressing were large and cooked just right. We added Pier 54 Clam Chowder, which was thick, creamy and very like New England but with large pieces of bacon. Next up -- Hawaiian Ahi Nachos -- I couldve eaten these all night! (Which is why you dont see a picture here. Once I started, it was hard to stop.) The ahi poke had just the right firmness and while I never thought I was a fan of fruity salsa, the pineapple salsa with this was the bomb! Lavosh is crisp and messy to bite, but the plain canvas was perfect for this dish. All desserts were big hits. The crisp shell of the berry turnover was wonderfully light. The oatmeal cookie a homemade memory and the cheesecake was dense and tasted of New York. Applause all around!

From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, from the moment we left, we were treated with the utmost respect and taken care of. The waitress was knowledgeable about all of the offerings and even recommended the Lavender Bees Knees, which was one of the tastiest light cocktails with a heavy splash of booze, that I have ever had! What we failed to do? Take photos! I guess I will have to go back! My sis and I shared three offerings including the Brussels dish, Laura's Lahvosh, and the Bibimbap. We had food left over! UPDATE: I was craving seafood and something different, so I ordered the double (mulligatawny soup and Island salad) and the Whidbey Island Shrimp and popovers for delivery. It was here fast. It was disgusting! The Mulligatawny soup was thick and all rice. The salad was wilted and just not right. The shrimp I couldn't cut with a fork or a butter knife... I had to go get a steak knife! I wanted to cry! It was a BIG bill for the BEST part being the popovers which were quite dark! I won't order for delivery again.

Wow! Incredible service, food, & atmosphere. My husband and mom enjoyed the salmon burger, steak /frites, and steak meals. We also had the GOAT appetizer- SO yummy! My salmon was cooked perfectly. No complaints and will definitely be back soon!

Pine and Black Bistro is off to a promising start! The menu is extensive with a lot of Pacific Northwest inspired options. My drink of choice, the Blueberry Lavender Bee's Knee, was refreshing and addictive. Perfectly chilled and not too sweet. We started with the Oregon board which included crispy crackers and an excellent fig jam. For my entree I enjoyed the Honolulu Cobb and would absolutely order it again. The jalapeño lime vinaigrette goes very well with delicate white shrimp. My only complaint being the tiny pieces of mango, I think slices would be a better choice. On the downside, the tables are very close together. In fact the couple seated next to us said the same thing. lol Excited to see a new local option in Papillion!

Old fashioned for me and my wife's choice of cocktail, the name of which I can't recall.

We love the other two restaurants that the Aulds established in the greater Omaha area. So we were thrilled when then opened Pine & Black only 5 minutes from our house! We used to live in the Pacific Northwest, and this place brings back all that we loved in cuisine from there plus adding in all that we love from here in the Midwest. Great drinks and wine list too!

Oregon board, Prairie Fire steak, scallops, and salmon. Every dish absolutely amazing!!!

Since then I've been taking my partner to the wine tastings on Thursdays and having casual cocktails on Saturdays. I couldn't be happier with the friendliness of the staff and the great variety of wines during the tastings. The charcuterie platters and the pizzas are great and the monthly specialty pizzas are definitely something you should try. Some reviews say that it seems like a "regulars bar" but as someone who is under 30 and walked in alone the first time and became a frequent customer, I would not let this deter you at all as I never felt like this. I highly recommend this place for a date night, or a nice after work cocktail. Good drinks, good food, good atmosphere, friendly bartenders. 10/10

We started with the pork momo. We've had these before and they're always a great choice. The filling was rich and flavorful, the dumpling dough was perfectly chewy and the dipping sauces added another level of depth and flavor. For mains we split the duck breast and the tagliatelle. The duck was cooked perfectly and the bok choy that came with it added a perfect amount of crunch and mustard flavor. The tagliatelle was rich and the variety of mushrooms in the sauce added so much umami. We look forward to returning!
