Much more consistent than the Blair location. The employees are a tad friendlier too. Not super friendly, but cordial enough not to offend. I've never gotten hard beans at this location (unlike Blair which is a repeat offender in that regard). Since it's not convenient to where we live we don't go to this one as often and usually eat there (not to go) so I can't speak to the takeout service. Horrible service. The LP franchise should be ashamed of this location. Ordered two bowls to go and after waiting 30+ minutes I inquired about my order. The employee checked on my order and came back telling me they didn't have the ingredients to make the Bollywood Bowl. After voicing my frustration for waiting so long she said they were super busy. In fact, there were 5 other people in the restaurant. That's not busy. Instead of making things right she just offered up a refund. At that point I decided it was not worth ordering another bowl. Went across the street to the the Tasty Thai restaurant and got an amazing meal. Soooooo yummy! I love this place. It's wonderful for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner. Everything my husband and I have had there has been delicious from the burritos to their bowls and soups. Called in a multi-order for lunch, picked it up and there were many issues. I wasn't sure whether or not to call....I mean what could they do really? I was already back at work across town. They offered me a free meal on them next time I came in and completely made it right. That's all you can really ask for! This is the most un-authentic Mexican food I have ever had. Brown rice, really? Very bland. Granted, I am from California so I actually know what real Mexican food tastes like. Food is usually decent here, clean ingredients etc... in the past my only complaint is they only have well tequila for margaritas..... although I just tried to preorder food, they asked me to hold for a minute... ten mins later I was disconnected... I was on my way there anyway, so swung by, they were only doing phone cc pre orders (totally understandable) and said it was a25 minute wait.... so called again, was asked to hold again, then a while later disconnected again.... called back a number of times and now they are just not answering..... hope they figure it out soon...,bummed because ten person crew is going late and they wanted something good besides Thai take out again....so Walked down street for more Thai food instead... read more

I am so sad and annoyed that the service at this location is so awful. I LOVE laughing planet and go here all the time. And each time I always try to hope it's better than the last but to no avail. The location on Blair is AWESOME and the service there is excellent. My advice is to make the short commute over to the location on Blair and 8th because it is definitely more worth it. Mainly I'm just pissed off that they just let my food sit up there instead of letting me know it's done; this has happened to me more than once. Also the girl working behind the counter was training a new guy and ignored me for minutes (or at least what felt like) when I went to go up and see if my food was done. I feel let down. read more

A good place to get a healthy meal quickly and moderately priced around Eugene. The employees are very considerate and the ambiance of the restaurant is nice. However after trying many options off the menu, I have come to the consensus that there is lack of seasoning in the food served. Good place to get a fast and reliable dinner if you're not up for cooking. I find it a tiny bit pricey for what it is (usually beans and rice), but somehow they manage to make those beans oh so tasty, especially when combined with melted Tillamook Cheddar. I usually go for a burrito bowl, but most recently I had a bowl with broccoli and mashed potatoes, which was heavenly. I took friends from CA here after a day of hiking and they were impressed with the food too. They have a nice selection of beers on tap. I terribly miss their $7 after 7 burrito and beer combo. I wish they would at least bring that back one day a week! I would go every week for that tasty deal! A small note, which seems a little picky---the color of paint in this location drives me crazy. There's something about the decor that makes me want to eat outside or take it home. I think it's the putrid green that gets my goat. read more

A very unique dining experience. My food wasn't very good and my husband didn't like his either. It wasn't too expensive, but I won't come back. Every table had toy dinosaurs on them. The Laughing Planet Cafe has been one of my favorite establishments to eat at in the past. The food is good, the service prompt and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. They sure have some fantastic burritos! The caesar salad is also great, and I the ingredients are of very high quality, always fresh and local. The soups are also good, and I often order a small one to accompany my meal. The waiters and waitresses are all friendly, polite, and helpful, and service is prompt. The outdoor seating is nice in the summer, and the tone inside is pleasant. Prices are rather reasonable, especially when you consider the price of ingredients and the amount of food you get. Overall, one of my go-to places when I need a meal, highly reccomended to anyone looking for fresh, local food. read more

First: this is a very affordable, healthy and relatively fast place to eat that gets it's ingredients from locally responsible sources and has pretty much something for everyone (meat eaters, kids, entitled hippies, vegans ect...) Second: the "East India" and "Holiday" burritos are seasonal specials that are worth celebrating all their own. These should come with a warning that reads "may overwhelm taste buds and cause temporary flavor ecstasy". Third: chances are if you don't like this joint there is a strong possibility I don't like you. Fourth (and lastly): go here and also enjoy a rotation of delicious local beers and always amazing cookies. read more

This is one of our go-to places when we need a quick healthy dinner and don't have time to cook. Lots of interesting options on the menu, regularly-changing seasonal specials, and reasonably priced for how much food you get. Staff is friendly and the place is clean. The kids love the food and the toy dinosaurs. They'll make any of the burritos as a bowl if you, like me, can't eat the wheat tortilla (the Holy Molé is awesome). The smoothies are great too. We usually get two to share among four of us, which is plenty and keeps it a little more economical. I find that both this location (29th & Willamette) and the Blair Blvd location are consistent and reliable. read more
