New Years Eve dinner 2018 was so memorable. We had a fantastic dinner and got the tomahawk steak. What an experience! Definitely worth checking out for a special occasion.

Really nice place. Great salmon plate and wonderful salad. Really a cut above restaurant. If I lived close I would come often.

There is plenty of off street parking on the side and to the rear of the restaurant. We had reservations and were promptly seated. Our server (I wish I could recall her name) was fantastic. Very friendly, took out drink order quickly (by the way this is BYOB) and asked us if we wanted to put in an order for appetizers. We ordered the following appetizers: pepper shooters, fried calamari and the pork belly. Salads come with every meal and a nice small charcuterie board is complimentary. My steak came out exactly as I ordered it and was tender, well seasoned and hot when I received it. The chicken was very tasty and always also served hot. I really can't say enough about he server. She was a young darker haired girl with a great personality and very confident when she read us the specials. She even made a few suggestions, all of which were very good. The atmosphere is really nice and bother owners came to our table at the end of the evening. The owners were very cordial and talked to use for a short period of time. I wish the owners the very best of luck but I don't think they'll need it as this is a very well run restaurant. The pricing was very reasonable and overall, an excellent choice for a nice dinner.

Warm, attentive service without hovering...exactly what you want for a special night. We started with the fried calamari and shrimp cocktails. Calamari was golden, tender, zero rubbery pieces, and the shrimp cocktail was huge, fresh, and perfectly chilled. Already a win. For mains, we went all out: Ribeye Steak cooked to a perfect medium-rare with a great sear, Rack of Lamb that was tender and seasoned beautifully, Lobster Crab & Seafood Fra Diavolo with just the right kick, and the Crab & Shrimp Spinach Fettuccine was creamy, packed with seafood, and didn't skimp on the crab. Every plate came out hot and every bite was spot-on. Portions are generous, vibe is cozy but still feels special enough for a 50th, and they even helped us make the birthday moment memorable. No rushed tables, no attitudejust great food and genuine hospitality. If you're in Simpson or driving through, Frank's Place is worth the stop. We'll be back with more friends in tow. Thanks for making her 50th so perfect!

It's tucked in a little off the road and could be easy to miss. They are open from 11 am to 8 pm. I highly suggest you call in your order as there was only one person ahead of me and I waited almost 20 minutes for the fresh cooked deliciousness that was my lunch. It was TOTALLY worth the wait; however, if you are limited on time, order ahead. The food was delicious! I ordered the chicken/shrimp hibachi, which came with perfectly cooked Japanese fried rice, vegetables (onion, carrot, squash and some kind of bluish cabbage?) and "yummy" sauce (which IS very yummy BTW--ask for extra and thank me later). The shrimp was grilled and not overcooked. The grilled chicken chunks were tender. The food was so good I almost choked on a piece of rice from inhaling my food lol. #IcantbelieveIatethewholething They give you a nice portion of food--I was full a little more than halfway through but it was so good, I couldn't stop eating. Now I want a nap! I am so happy this place is only a hop, skip and a jump from my workplace! Yes, they take credit cards.

It's a quaint Irish pub owned by Eric and his wife Chrissy. We sat at the bar and they were very welcoming. We both had soup - loaded potato and the seafood chowder. The desserts are made by Chrissy and do not disappoint, though we had to take ours to go since we were so full. Anyway, definitely recommend if you're looking for a home away from home atmosphere and some really good food.

We were disappointed but we figured we would make the best of it. For an appetizer, I ordered the seafood bisque. While it was inexpensive, I did not expect imitation crab and a lot of corn. I never had seafood bisque with corn. I had one piece of shrimp in it too. Overall, the soup had no flavor. My husband had Manhattan Clam Chowder. He said it was pretty good, but he kept coughing from the spices. Still, we were hoping the dinner would be good. I ordered the fried catfish, salad, and baked potato. The potato was cold and had a lot of sour cream and butter lopped on top. It should have been served on the side as it made the potato cold, and the potato was undercooked and seemed like it was microwaved rather than oven-baked. The butter on the potato was cold and I kept getting a mouthful of butter. My husband's potato was the same. I asked the waitress to reheat my potato, but it just didn't taste good. It was still hard. The catfish tasted like frozen haddock, and It tasted like it was out of a freezer bag. My husband had cabbage rolls. He said they weren't bad, but the sauce was just plain tomato sauce. My husband got up and asked for the check and handed his debit card to the waitress.. She told him that there was a fee for using a card. He asked if there was an ATM, but there was not. The cook took the card from the waitress and just swiped it. We saw no signs about a credit card fee being passed on to the customer. The only peasant part was Victoria, the waitress. She was kind and friendly. We will not be returning though. We felt like our Anniversary was ruined.

We were seated in a cozy back room with a fireplace. We started off with a couple Caesar salads to share, and it was honestly one of the best I've had. The croutons were so good I wanted to ask for a bag to go. We all got steaks for our entrees. My filet mignon was perfectly cooked and super tender. The au poivre sauce wasn't our favorite, but the béarnaise and shallot butter were really good. For sides, we ordered the carrots, potatoes au gratin, mashed potatoes, and truffle fries. Sides are large and can definitely feed 2-3 people. Tbh, sides fell short compared to the steak. The potatoes were a little bland. The carrots were the favorite among the sides. Our server was amazing and even offered us a ride to Shenanigans, which was unexpected but so nice.

We didn't see all the renovations that they did recently but we liked what we did see.
