I've visited this café several times, but this was the first time I really enjoyed it. I came in during the evening and ordered the injeolmi shaved ice. I believe the worker's name was Sua? It was my first time meeting her, and she was super friendly and quick with the order. In the past, I've waited over 15 minutes for the same thing, even when it wasn't busy, but this time it took less than 5 minutes and looked amazing. I wish I had taken a photo! She even offered help in Korean, which was really thoughtful. I hope all the other staff can be as welcoming and positive as she was. I ordered avocado toast, original soufflé pancake and kids breakfast plate. I will admit the food was good. My experience in this establishment could've been a 5 star review if it wasn't for a server that really ruined my experience. The kids plate comes with toast,eggs, ham and hash brown. For a kids plate the hash brown was spicy due to excessive amount of black pepper. When I told the server about it, she brought an extra plate to scrape the hash brown from a plate my son was eating from. When she was doing that I even told her that's so weird that you would take the food and scrape off the hash brown in the middle of my son eating instead of bringing a side of hash brown with no pepper, but she continued to do it. I was tempted to just cancel the rest of the order and leave but the manager made it right. He was very apologetic and brought my son new hash brown and gave us free meal ticket for next time. I don't think I am asking too much when I'm asking for hash brown with no black pepper. She needs better training . The ambience is cute and clean. Overall I do recommend this place. I went in today with expectations for this new brunch spot but was disappointed. My friends and I ordered a nutella waffle, matcha souffle pancake, and an acai bowl. The nutella waffle was nice and crispy, but wished for a little more nutella. However, for some reason the fruits tasted oniony...? The açaí bowl was really frozen, as we were expecting it to be more smooth. We also had trouble mixing the açaí bowl due to the size of the small paper container. We had to ask for another container to mix the acai bowl. The matcha souffle pancake was not really that sweet and didn't taste much like matcha. Im not sure if it was supposed to taste like this but it tasted a lot like just eggs. The ambiance of this place was nice though, there was indoor and outdoor seating so that was nice. However, I was confused if we were supposed to order from the front or the QR codes on the table?? Along with that, when my friend was ordering the employee was using inappropriate language saying that "coconut is s**t". Everyone else has been served at this point, including a family of 5 or 6 who ordered after me, and a couple that was not in there when I ordered before. Finally get the food bring it home, waffles are pretty lame, paid $8 for 3 mini waffles (not disclosed size on the menu, whole thing looked worth less than $1), and the order is missing the strawberries that were supposed to be included. Been wanting to try this new hot spot for a while and today was the day :) Great ambiance with large patio and cheerful decor. Everything we tried was delicious. The remaining toasts only had a dab of custard on the outside and no custard inside and the toasts were really dry. My subpar review though, comes from the fact that while my entire table received and nearly finished their food, I had not received my order (5 in total party). Oddly enough, I had ordered first in my party and received my drink, but my omelette with addition of avocado, did not come for 45-50 min of sitting down. After 35-40 min, a gentleman came and asked if everything came out, at which time, I had stated my order did not. He left and 10-15 min later, arrived with my food with a short apology of "sorry about that". Not only did I receive my order very late, they did not add the avocado I had paid extra for. I understand being busy with brunch rush but I dont think it justifies receiving my food 45-50 min later when the rest of my party received their food, and have an item that I paid for missing from my plate. The experience itself, was unfortunately poor for me. Advice for those who go during a rush: dont feel bad to ask the status of your order. read more

Additionally, their plain toast does not come with butter, and the first employee we asked just pointed at the condiments area saying "that's all we have". The second employee we asked finally emerged from the kitchen with two cubes of butter that were frozen solid. How does a breakfast place not have butter?? Went there for weekday brunch. There were more people working behind the counter than there were patrons. So many things wrong here... no strawberry puree for strawberry matcha, no hojicha for another drink, when someone's drink wasn't sweet enough they wanted to charge her for an extra pump of syrup, the bread they used for my avocado toast was hard and stale. I get that they have a $1 surcharge for eggs, but when my very basic $12 avocado toast was small in size to begin with that $13 in all just didn't make it worth it. It was literally a stale piece of bread, maybe a quarter of an avocado smashed on top, pepper, and 2 small eggs on top. Our food also took a look a long time to come out. The 2 stars were for the nice staff, but the food, especially for that price wasn't really worth it. read more

The vibe and the ambiance are lovely, the Korean fusion menu is inspired, and the staff is wonderful. I'd like to try to everything on the menu! The one issue is that during the weekend brunch hours, it was packed, and the service was quite slow. The food took a while, and by the time the food arrived, it was already cold. As others have mentioned, the place just opened up, so they are sorting through the kinks, but it is entirely well worth visiting. The good: Matcha pancakes were delicious. The bad: Service, omelets, hashbrowns, coffee, and price First tried to come on a weekend. Was understaffed and had to wait almost an hour for a table despite joining the waitlist 20 minutes before we arrived. Saw only 1 server working plus a hostess chipping in and decided to eat somewhere else nearby. Came back on a Thursday and it was mellow. However, chairs were wet and tables were dirty. The table next to us complained that it took over 30 minutes for their food to arrive (one person received their food way before everyone else and was finished before the others arrived). When they went in to check on their food and told them it'd been 30 minutes, they were told by staff "it's only been 25 minutes!". That obviously didn't help lol. Drip coffee was not at all fresh around 11:30am and tasted gross. Omelets were one dimensional. You could only taste the butter and cheap cheese. Hashbrowns were somehow both burned on the top and undercooked on the bottom. Plus super salty. Honestly didn't know hashbrowns could be so utterly fumbled. Service was non-existent and you are expected to pay AND tip upfront if you order using the QR code at your table. Would much rather tip at the end. Only redeeming factor was the matcha pancakes which did take a long time to come out but were very delicious and beautiful. In the future, would only consider ordering the sweet items for pickup ahead of time. read more

The location is great as it's in a lovely plaza, however the food left much to be desired. We had ordered the kitch avocado toast, veggie avocado omelette, shakshuka, and biscoff banana French toast. The French toast was our favorite option as it was unique and delicious. However, the eggs in the shakshuka were too watery for our taste. Cooking them for longer would've been better for us. The Smashburger was phenomenal, perfectly filling, and came with a side of hashbrowns. The flavors were insane! Their special sauce for this item really came through. We didn't try their beverages, but it looks like a lot of people ordered their matcha while dining in. you order at the table through a scan code, or at the register, not directly through a waitress.
